Great employees with lovely attitudes
Service, rooms, location Nothing
Location, housekeeping services, large room. Gym is spacious and it offers certain fitness activities to the guests, such as Pilates and Yoga. The blinds didn't close totally and allow some lighting into the room. Next day it was fixed with Velcro straps. The front desk assured me that I had a view to 5th Ave and it wasn't true. I saw the back of other buildings towards W 55 St. The gym is spacious but the machines are outdated and only for a certain group of muscles.
Gorgeous hotel, but the staff was rude on multiple occasions. I am used to being treated like royalty when I spend this much on a room.
Everything. It was perfect. Room was a little small but I can't complain for the price I paid.
nice and quiet. Great service the room is too small
My experience made every other hotel I have stayed at seem 5-Star! I paid over $----- for the night and checked out to sleep at a hotel staffed by sane people. The security guard Patrick banging on my hotel door demanding entry and falsely accusing me of smoking marihuana. I am a 55 year old man and my guest was a medical doctor. No phone call, No 'Sorry to bother you sir...' Just an unhinged rent-a-cop. Wow!
If you want impeccable service, and enjoy every amenity you could think of, then this is your hotel! Everything from friendly service to comfortable clean rooms, this hotel delivers. It's close to everything interesting, theatre, shopping, restaurants. I can't wait to return! Thank you St. Regis. A fun-filled weekend that gave us a life time of memories.
Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. Location couldn't be better. If you enjoy luxury this is the place.
Svært vennlig betjening i resepsjonen. Rask service. Broadway-show.
Men ellers OK.
Staff was great, service excellent, rooms were huge in the Tower No coffe in room, very pricey to have sent to your room
Nice ambiance. Good elevators to get to room efficiently Poor housekeeping. Bathroom smelled musty. They forgot to leave washcloths one time. Then forgot to leave shampoo another time. When we called for shampoo to shower took 1.5 hours to come. Also asked for blankets when checked in which never came.
Beautiful hotel, incredible view and far enough away from the craziness of Times Square but a pretty easy walk to wherever you want to go. I was skeptical because of the deal we got on hotels.com but it was an awesome spot! No closet in the hotel room.
Decor, location, cleanliness $16.00 for wifi
Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location! Loved my stay there!! Charging 16.00 per day for wifi is insane
Large rooms, excellent location
My wife and I stayed at the Palace many years ago and this stay was the first under Lotte's ownership. It's a big hotel, so it lacked the intimacy of some place like the Lowell Carlyle or the Plaza Athenee. That said, it's considerably less expensive, unless you are in the Towers. What I found remarkable was the consistency of staff attitude. Friendly, appropriately personal, attentive, and helpful. $50 for a simple breakfast (farro porridge with fruit, coffee, and a freshly made vegetable juice, was a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it) for New York. Delicious for sure, but pricey.
Staff was very cordial and gave excellent customer service. Charge for Wi-Fi was unexpected for a $700 a night room.
Our room directly overlooked St. Patrick's Cathedral and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious (unusual for NY), clean and comfortable. There's a wonderful café right off the beautiful hotel lobby for specialty coffees and French pastries, and the fitness center is amazing. Plenty of bar/restaurants within walking distance, as are many of the tourist attractions such as Rock Center. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will look into staying there again. There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel, although I would have preferred a lower internet rate (it is $16/day).
location room wasnt clean properly by housekeeping
Location, good neibourhood , good loung and snack shop . Also rooms were good side and clean with proper functioning bathroom. I wish they had a sit down restaurant of their own. Although they are close to restaurants on the street.
Gode senger, dundyner.
Dyr frokost i 44. etasje.
Nei
Great Location and services, comfortable room, bar and food was excellent. Delighted with the thoughtful ref. books left in our room and the "Club" atmosphere. *****
comfortable pillows & bed initial cleanliness Front desk staff was nice Nice wait staff in the 6th fl lounge area very small room for the cost. housekeeping came in w/o waiting for a response twice they didn't replinish towels when they should have channel was snowy on tv no tub in bthrm
I liked best the kindness and the availability of the staff. The bed sheet was not done carefully, except on the first day. The cover was just drawn.
Excellent location and beautiful outdoor rooftop terrace for breakfast. I wish I had spent a bit more money and stayed elsewhere. So much went wrong: my room key didn't work. They supposedly fixed it and it still didn't work. My shower didn't drain and I was standing in 2 inches of disgusting backed up water. The air conditioner wasn't working properly and my room never got cool, which wasn't good considering that the bed clothes were just a sheet and a very thick, heavy comforter. The air in the room seemed moldy or stale--I have bad allergies and they were definitely triggered. There was only 1 person at the front desk, so any time you went there was a long wait. Also, in a very small hotel room, why in the world would they have a little bookshelf with random books on it?
Well location Midtown Manhattan, just off 5th Avenue, and a few blocks from father Duffy square at 47th Street, where you can buy half-price tickets the same day of a Broadway or Off-Broadway show. Tip colon if you want to buy half price tickets for a play, not Opera, Bella, etcetera, go to the front of the kiosk and ask where that line is. It is super short. Club Quarters has a lot of cool features, including filtered water on every hallway along with empty plastic bottles, free fresh fruit in the restaurant area, slow elevators, wait that's not a plus!
Location, location, location Cost Not luxury (wanted something basic which is more in line with my personality) Slow elevators No safes in rooms
Desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping staff very nice Breakfast is way overpriced and staff would stand around instead of checking on things like coffee refills.
The staff were unhelpful, rude and the room wasn't clean or to standard. Thoroughly disappointed.
The location was great. It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. I would appreciate having a airport shuttle.
Room on floor 5 under fitness center on 6, Very distracting with pounding of treadmill at most hours. Renovation needed on room (stained sofa carpet not vacuumed, bath door off support called and told didn't have part in stock to fix, glasses not cleaned etc.) Level of customer service minimal. will move on next trip to other hotels.
Location was perfect for marathon activities and staff was very helpful. Rooms a bit small, but ok for value.
It was a good location for what we had planned for Thanksgiving. Nice short walk to the parade and many other things around Rockefeller Center. Room was decent size for New York City. Small Lobby.
The room was very nice and clean. The location was excellent. The rooftop bar was really cool too. The staff was extremely friendly. I guess if I had to complain about anything it would just be the size of the room, it was very small. But I know that it is typical for many NYC hotels.
Location is amazing. Dinner at Tender restaurant was very good. Staff was helpful and very nice. Room was facing street and was very noisy. Pictures of room looked spacious. In reality, room was basically a king sized bed! Bathroom was literally part of the room with no separation. Seemed a high price for a very small room.
Great front desk, bellman and concierge staff. Nice breakfast. Room wasn't ready per check in time.
The staff at the front desk and the doormen are so helpful!!
Great location and very nice staff in all departments. The rooms were a bit worn and the separation of the bathroom was only with a curtain.
Staff was wonderful, interior was beautiful, rooms where very comfortable, entire experience made for quite a romantic stay. Rooftop bar wasn't as great as I'd hoped. The design was trendy, but the clientele was decidedly not. Fortunately, the hotel is in a great area with plenty else to do nearby.
fantastic service, great staff, good location smallish rooms, lack of closet space
Location. First night we stayed in a room facing the street, and couldn't sleep because of the continous thudding noise (caused by the vehicles going over the steel plates covering the construction work). They offered us another room (and 10% discount for the whole stay a gesture we appreciated). The new room was quiet, and we had a good rest. At the checkout, I realized that the discount was applied to 3 nights instead of 4 (I am sure it was an honest mistake). I tried to explain the situation to the clerk, but she acted indifferently, and I didn't have the time/energy to escalate it. Otherwise the staff are very professional and helpful.
Great location, 1/2 block from Times Square TKTS, and walking distance from Grand Central. Classy hotel, lobby and room furnishings, it was great for a long weekend for the two of us. After Kayak gave us an opportunity to request a superior view, we got a 9th floor room. In that room space around the bed was small, as was closet space also, and only one chair.
For a solo, environmentally-conscious traveler, it was fun to experience what it's like to live in 250sqft of room. Everything in the room was well-designed to fit all the conveniences of modern life into perfectly organized, perfectly sized furnitures and fixtures. The tiling, furniture, and appliances all felt modern and fresh. My only 2 negative experiences during my stay were the thin walls and not-so-comfortable mattress. In all fairness, I sleep on a premium mattress at home, so the bar was quite high. But mattress aside, I wish there was more sound-proofing on the walls - particularly exterior walls and windows. The NYC night-time jack-hammers kept me up until 3am. Even my White Noise app on my phone couldn't drown it out. If you stay here, bring earplugs
The staff were very informative, friendly, and accommodating. The location was amazing!
LOVED the purified water on our floor. Also, the Guest Closet on our floor was nice. Had extra coffee and an iron. Loved the look and the value.
The bed was horrible...not enough blankets either.
We loved the location. Bed was a little hard for my husband, but I was comfortable
Convenient location and reasonable pricing make this a good choice for a NYC weekend. The room was modern with all the needed items. Not really a negative but do note there is no lobby here, just a couple terminals to check in and one person to help you. So not a full service hotel but it was ok with us. Breakfast was typical american buffet for about average NY prices. We generally don't spend a lot of time in the room while in NY so this was good.
Location was awesome, steps away from Rockefeller center. Quiet at night. Staff were lovely. Furniture was a bit worn. Beds were not full size.
loved the location, close proximity to the subway, free cold filtered water & water bottles, & the staff was great! This was a great hotel.
Location, friendly staff, room comfort. While the room initially seems small, it soon becomes much larger because it is so compact and carefully thought out. I marvelled at the eye pleasing decor and efficient design. It has the feel of a small European hotel. There's no wasted space in the room or in the lobby. The check in /out front desk measures 3 x 5 feet at most. Amazing! I liked everything about the place.
Location and price
Location My reservation was cancelled. The staff did not pass me the messages that were left at the reception. renovation with constant noise. Very small rooms, even for ny. Was charged for full day because of late check out
the location is very good. 1) i have told the hotel that i would be paying for my stay on cash, and was told that i should do so upon check-out; yet the hotel proceeded to debit my credit card before the check-out time; 2) the car park is too blocks away. If one has luggages, the car-park is too far. 3) we arrive at the hotel earlier than 3 pm cos my flight arrived at 11 am. Despite there being vacant rooms, the hotel refused to assign us the room. Upon our return at 3.30 pm, we had to wait 45 minutes for the room allocation.
Really close to everything! Staff was nice. WE had room 409 and it was really small ......the windows faced the school gymnasium next door so we had to keep our blinds closed so the room was dark unless we had ALL the lights on. Not sure I would stay again, but it was very convenient.
Close to times square Most everything
My wife an I had a very nice 4 day stay at the Muse. The room was comfortable with very little street noise, do to the double pane windows and being on the 14th floor. The restaurant was very nice and comfortable for breakfast. The doormen were helpful in getting us a cab in the wet snow after the police closed the street. Overall a very nice stay. The staff could have done more to keep a Saturday night bachelorette party quiet in the two rooms next to ours. The desk/ phone staff need to be better trained in handling customer complaints.
Super friendly staff
Staff was very helpful, room was quite luxurious - good price point on size and location. Despite what I said about somewhat misleading description of a room, it's good value and a good location. Despite advertising, no 'view of Times Square' as described for the room - unless you count the very top of a gigantic billboard as a 'view of Times Square'.
Early check in, very clean, friendly staff, great location. One elevator was down which caused very long wait times.
staff was outstanding comfortable room, if small great location older building with slow elevators :) small room (but it is Manhattan!)
Accomodations and staff were wonderful. Location is convenient and in an extremely staff area.
It was clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, excellent service - from doorman to housekeeping to room service,, conveniently located, cozy lobby and library - in short - a gem of a hotel. Will definitely return!! Absolutely no complaints!
Delightful. Very kind staff, lovely room. Very good value at just over $200 Room seemed a bit humid
The staff was absolutely amazing. Especially Rocky and Jenny. They were friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The rooms are kept well and are comfortable. The hotel is centrally located so most activities are in walking distance. I will stay there again when I go back in a few months. Everything was great!
Location, Location, Location! Great mid-town location, steps away from shops, theaters and landmarks. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room although very small bathroom. Great restaurant! Small bathroom.
Our stay at the Iroquois New York was absolutely fabulous. From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service from all the staff. The room was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect. Vanessa, the concierge, was absolutely amazing; not only did she provide excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions, but she went the extra mile in assisting us with obtaining a metro card for the subway. We will certainly recommend the Iroquois to our friends and plan to stay here again for our next visit to New York!
Location was excellent. I thought my room was way too small. I was in one of the 02 rooms and it was tiny. never stay in any of the rooms that end with 02. There was a gentleman in the library when I was there speaking on the cell phone complaining that his closet at home was bigger than his room. I asked to change out of my room and they said they were sold out. I will never stay at this hotel again unless I am shown the size of the room first. Otherwise, it was clean, good location and good staff.
Convenient mid town location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Wifi service. Pleasant and helpful staff. Tiny room with small window looking directly into a brick wall 6 feet away! The room temp was 76 degrees and COULD NOT BE REGULATED. The maintenance engineer came to the room and confirmed the high temp but said there was no way to reduce the high dry heat.
Cosy and comfortable The ventilation in the toilet is noisy.
We arrived early and our room was ready. We were able to check into our room early which was very much appreciated after traveling all night on the red eye. The staff was friendly, attentive and the hotel was charming and very clean. Great location to everything. We really enjoyed the Lantern's Keep downstairs.
Conveniently located,comfortable,pleasant stuff.
Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, rett ved Times Square. God romstørrelse for å være New York. Fint bad. Bestilte to rom med frokost gjennom booking.com.
