Det jeg likte best under mitt opphold på Hotel Pennsylvania i New York var beliggenheten hotellet hadde Renholdet på hotellrommene var svært dårlig.
Det eneste grunnen til og velge dette hotellet er bra belligenhet i forhold til pris til NY og være i alle fall. Veldig slitent og dårlig vedlikeholdt hotell med untak av heisene og lobbyen. Rengjøringen var heller ikke god.
Kjempebra beliggenhet. Dårlig renhold.Mye råte i trevirke på rommet. Støyende aircondition, defekt vask på rommet, defekt kleskap på rommet.

My husband and I were traveling with our 2 adult children and their traveling companions, so we booked 3 rooms. All rooms were spacious and comfortable. Decor was trendy, with high end amenities. We loved the rooftop bar and had a great meal at the attached restaurant. Location was perfect. Overall, a great stay. Some of the furniture in the room was showing some wear. And the desk chair was the only chair in the room. Also, the closet was very small. Not enough space to hang our clothes and coats.

The beds were so comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out where to go and how to get there, texted when our room was ready, and coffee as we waited for the ballet service to get our car. Great location too! No, it exceeded our expectations and we were very happy.

It's a lovely hotel, in a fun neighborhood. No. It was a stretch to call it a 5-star, but it was very nice.

We appreciated the entire stay. It was quiet, friendly staff, clean, accomodating, close to subway. Good food . We had to leave. We have recommended it to others and will be back.
Location, rooms are comfy , free internet My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.

Nice interior All staff Ive come across felt like security. They dont respond to greetings. When they selectively ask to see your room keycard to enter the hotel and you see the people in front of you stroll right in while you get "carded" almost everytime...Im a well groomed mid 20's asian business man on vacation what more do you want? And in the heart of korea-town no less! I avoided the staff for the rest of my stay due to their less than friendly disposition and most times they seemed too busy to talk to you because they are allll on their phones textingg! Mainly speaking of night staff. For such a historic Landmark of a Hotel the staff certainly takes away from its authenticity,beauty and glamour. As far as the rooms go everthing seemed fairly clean and nice. Only issue was the brown water I had to shower in and the air condition wasnt working the first day but their engineering staff promptly fixed the A/C unit.
Nothing I liked. Worst costumer service!! Front desk guests service were so rude. My room was already paid and booked for but still had to wait two hours just to get my room!

Friendly and accommodating staff! Loved that everyone was there willing to help. Also liked the security of staff checking to make sure that all guests coming into the hotel were in fact supposed to be there. Didn't like that there wasn't a fridge and/or microwave in the room given the price. Room was very nice but for the price I would've expected at least a fridge.
The room was spacious for NYC standards and very clean and well kept. The furnishings were modern and kept up to date. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep our water, wine and cheese cold.
Bed was very comfortable and staff was very courteous. The room had a modern updated bathroom. The room was very small.

19th Fl room was clean and very quiet, bedding was high-quality. Near (but not too near) Penn Station. Small bedroom, but big bathroom. No closet, just a small cabinet that could not accommodate a business suit, much less an overcoat. Elevators extremely slow.

Bra :) hadde forventet dårlige greier da det er så god pris... og i new york kan man ikke forvente god standard ... Men her var det rent og pent, bodde i 12 etasje kort vei til alt, sentralt.... nær shopping enkelt med banen når man lærer seg denne...så super plassering. Frokost typisk amerikansk ikke etter min smak... men flere gode frokost steder noen 100 meter unna :) reiser gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet.

At det var annerledes enn de hoteller jeg vanligvis bor på - veldig livelig i lobbyområdet til enhver tid, stilig interiør (moderne retro), gode senger, annerledes frokostmeny i restauranten, Breslin. Rom med køyesenger viste seg å være for lite for to voksene på et så langt opphold, så måtte oppgradere til et større rom.
Great hotel, with nice spot in the middle of lower east side. Got a nice corner room with balcony and floor to ceiling view of the town.

Grei beliggenhet og god standard. Kan absolutt anbefales. Rengjøringen sviktet et par dager men alt i alt et veldig bra opphold.

Bra beliggenhet med kort avstand til NY´s sentrale severdigheter. Relativt nær T-bane. Hyggelig peronale. Fin vestibyle, men med trappeatkomst som gjør det vanskelig med atkomst for rullestol og med tunge kofferter. Liten restaurant i direkt tilknytning til hotellet hvor det er mulig å spise frokost. Små og upraktiske rom, dårlig møblert. Lite skaplass. Ingen sittemuligheter på rommet utover seng. Dobbeltseng kun med atkomst fra en sibehøvd oppgraderingde. Håndvask på rommet og ikke på badet. Rommet virket utdatert med overflater som hadde .Dør mot korridoe var svært dårlig lydisolert, all bevegelse og aktivitet i korridor høres på rommet og omvendt. Pris på rommet står ikke i forhold til standard selv i NY sammenheng.
Personalet er helt fantastiske, rommene er behagelige og hotelet ligger veldig bra til. Det tok litt lang tid da vi spurte om glass og isbiter fordi resepsjonen hadde glemt å gi beskjed videre.
Beliggenheten er god når du skal jobbe på Manhatten Alt fungerte bra også med trådløs internett

Gode senger og fint bad. Flott å få middag 23.00 i hotellets restaurant. Fikk meget rask hjelp da vi hadde problemer med hotelsafe Varmet på rommet, fikk ikke air condition til å virke.
Personalet var hyggelig. Hotellet ligger sentralt til på 31. gate på Manhatten og det er lett tilgang til busser og undergrundsbane. Kort vei fra Empire State Building og flere andre severdigheter. Det var veldig varmt og dårlig luft på rommet i 7. etg, men det gikk an å åpne vinduet.
I'm not one to write travel reviews but I had such an incredible experience here I felt the need to share! Came here for a staycation (roommates, amirite?) slash birthday celebration and our choice could't have been more perfect. In a word, this spot is snazzy. The decor, fixtures and furnishings are reminiscent of the Prohibition/speakeasy era with a modern, chic twist. Just by standing in the lobby you instantly feel a little more immersed in something cool and vibrant. There is a palpable sense of imminent adventure and intrigue here, definitely a boon to kick off your New York City escapade. Inspiration is abundant here! The rooms are immaculately clean, chic and quiet. Bed is ridiculously comfortable and also features hidden storage drawers, so be sure to check under the huge fluffy down comforters they're topped with! There truly aren't enough adjectives to describe just how accommodating and incredible the staff here is. So friendly! Everyone here is a paragon of guest services for competing establishments to emulate. If you're looking for a stylish, urbane backdrop with ubercool yet welcoming vibe to your Gotham City foray, book with confidence at Archer, it is truly a stay to remember! Check out is at 11, not 12. Only downside to this hotel, otherwise it is magnificent.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The even remembered us the next day. Evan was wonderful, positive and up beat. Everyone was very helpful, even moved us when our AC was malfunctioning. Rooms were kind of small but then we were in the a limited amount of space as far as the city was concerned.
Staff was courteous and friendly. Room and bath were clean. Goodies were on the nightstand every evening when the bed was turned down. We walked and took the subway to where we wanted to go. All directions were precise. Subway was 2 blocks We would stay here again.
Beautiful property, well thought out rooms, great amenities and attention to detail. They need to iron out a lot of issues - the hotel is super new so they likely will. Room service is expensive, not very good & delivered in cheap take out containers. Very slow internet - borderline unusable if you're a business traveler. Staff nice and polite but very impersonal,
Decor was great, rooms were clean and mini bar was stocked with great snacks at reasonable prices ($2 per soda). Rooms were small but this isn't unheard of for Manhattan.

The staff was amazing. Polite and personable, always willing to help and proactive in resolving any booking issues. Would definitely stay again. Also, there is an amazing shop right on the next corner that has an incredible selection of foods, from ice cream and pizza to a full salad bar, that stays open for your late night cravings. Conveniently close to the hotel. If I must search for something negative to say..... Maybe the room seemed a little cramped? Didn't affect us because we were out and about but had we stayed in I suppose we'd have to use the descriptor "cozy."
The location is great. The bathrooms are nice. Internet worked well. However it lacks the charm I was expecting from a boutique hotel in New York. The rooms have an old feeling. The decoration in general is fairly old style. And when we tried to get room service for breakfast nobody picked up, we were told we will be called back and after 30 min we just gave up. Not worth the price, I would rather do a Hilton or Hyatt for same price with much better bed, service and vibe.
minibar was loaded with choices deceptive staff. gave me a different room with a smaller bed than the one I paid for. but after waiting on lobby for an hour after my check in time because the manager hadn't inspected the room, I was too tired and Aggravated to argue!

I love this hotel. I love the staff and I love the rooms. This feels like a hotel in a small town. I always reserve here even if the price is more expensive. Keep up the good work chandler. Better gym room.

This hotel is totally fine if you just need a good,clean and reliable place to stay. Nothing's about it is amazing or special but nothing is bad (except that the elevators weren't working which meant a 8 story climb up the stairs).

When I first got to hotel to check in I was informed that the room I reserved was not available and that I never booked the king room. But this not true I had my confirmation number and the reservation saved on my phone. So she put me in a queen room and charge me 461.00 but the deal I reserved was for only 261.00. So when I check out I was told that 200.00 would go back in my bank but it still hasn't. So I will never book through kayak again. I was robbed 200 dollars and was giving wrong room.
Mo the bartender and Grace at the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant.
Decent place. Free breakfast next door. Good kitchen in our room. Staff was friendly and timely when we ordered extra coffee and creamer packsbto our room. No view at all. Little balcony that looked over the back end on office buildings so room was dark all day. Bar good had expired dated on all packages. Front desk took the items off if our final bill. Dontvthink I'd stay there again but it was overall good
The rooms were mostly clean and modern. The towels are new and fluffy. Rooms not facing the street are quiet. (Not sure on rooms facing the street.) The price was reasonable and the location is great. I'm likely to return again if I need a room in the city. The lack of a lobby doesn't bother me. The front desk staff members are very amiable to help. The rooms aren't big, but there's enough room for your stuff. it gets the job done. The breakfast hours are limited for leisure travels who aren't sightseeing, which are 7am - 9am. There should be a 3 hour breakfast window, similar to other hotels that provide breakfast. Water temperature never gets hot, so you get a warm shower. The rain shower head option is nice. The temperature of the room was a bit tricky to manage because there's the hotel's internal heat and in-room heat you can manage. Since the hotel's heat was hot, we had to leave the window open a bit. (Didn't want to be annoyed from the sound of in-room heat/fan.) Oh cleanliness. Housekeeping really needs to do a better job of wiping down the bathroom and other areas of the room. I found 5 - 10 spots brown and yellow spots in the bathroom that could have simply been wiped down better.

Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Large television blasting in very small lobby, distracting the single clerk at registration desk from his/her duties. Cheesy expensive snacks and beverages in rooms. Put a snack machine in the lobby. .
I reserved a deck room months before then got there and they said they overbooked! Scam!
