bra beliggenhet lytt og kansje litt dyrt
Sentralt hotell, god standard. Mye for pengene.
Sentralt, 100 meter til Penn street station. Gode senger og grei standard på rommet.
Items of our luggage were stolen
We appreciated the entire stay. It was quiet, friendly staff, clean, accomodating, close to subway. Good food . We had to leave. We have recommended it to others and will be back.
Nothing I liked. Worst costumer service!! Front desk guests service were so rude. My room was already paid and booked for but still had to wait two hours just to get my room!
Close enough to walk many places. Staff was extremely friendly. Horrible view from window.
The room was spacious for NYC standards and very clean and well kept. The furnishings were modern and kept up to date. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep our water, wine and cheese cold.
Friendly and accommodating staff! Loved that everyone was there willing to help. Also liked the security of staff checking to make sure that all guests coming into the hotel were in fact supposed to be there. Didn't like that there wasn't a fridge and/or microwave in the room given the price. Room was very nice but for the price I would've expected at least a fridge.
Location, rooms are comfy , free internet My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.
Nice hotel Check in process was BAD Booked via Kayak and they did not have my reservation I had a confirmation # Took almost an hour to resolve
I gues for us-measures this Hotel has to be considered old The Service is excellent and it is Central
Nice interior All staff Ive come across felt like security. They dont respond to greetings. When they selectively ask to see your room keycard to enter the hotel and you see the people in front of you stroll right in while you get "carded" almost everytime...Im a well groomed mid 20's asian business man on vacation what more do you want? And in the heart of korea-town no less! I avoided the staff for the rest of my stay due to their less than friendly disposition and most times they seemed too busy to talk to you because they are allll on their phones textingg! Mainly speaking of night staff. For such a historic Landmark of a Hotel the staff certainly takes away from its authenticity, beauty and glamour. As far as the rooms go everthing seemed fairly clean and nice. Only issue was the brown water I had to shower in and the air condition wasnt working the first day but their engineering staff promptly fixed the A/C unit.
Clean rooms, Small rooms
Kjempebra beliggenhet.
Flott beliggenhet. Mye hotell for pengene.
Really a nice, modern hotel in a convenient location with friendly staff.
When I first got to hotel to check in I was informed that the room I reserved was not available and that I never booked the king room. But this not true I had my confirmation number and the reservation saved on my phone. So she put me in a queen room and charge me 461.00 but the deal I reserved was for only 261.00. So when I check out I was told that 200.00 would go back in my bank but it still hasn't. So I will never book through kayak again. I was robbed 200 dollars and was giving wrong room.
Mo the bartender and Grace at the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant.
The front desk staff and manager were friendly and competent - they were very helpful when I became ill and had to extend my stay.
Staff wasn't always accommodating to my needs. Certain employees went above and beyond to help. Others just hung up the phone when I needed help. Small rooms. Badly designed space. Inability to control temperature of room. Rude staff. The engineer was helpful but the front desk staff treated me like I was in their way and bothering them constantly
Large, contemporary room provided two comfy full size beds and a modern bath with a great shower. Staff was extremely friendly, happy and accommodating. Complimentary water, juice and soda in mini fridge. A super new find for this NYC regular.
Hotel charged a non-optional $20 'facility' fee

New, clean, and excellent helpful staff. Bar and restaurant on site was a plus. Dogs yipping in adjoining room. 2 dogs were left alone in the room and barked incessantly! There is a Chelsea Dog Hotel right down the street and would suggest people take their dogs there. Service dogs are a different matter.

Excellent value. Free non-alcoholic beverages in the mini-bar.
Location, vibe, and accommodations were all very good. The cost of an latte/cappuccino was ridiculous!
Complementary soft drinks, juice, and water in our mini bar every single day of our stay! Location is great too!! The city view rooms do not offer much of a view of NYC.

Location was convenient. The hotel was very VERY dirty. The bathroom was left extremely dirty and moldy and the employees were unprofessional
Located on a quiet side street but still within walking distance to many attractions. Plenty of subway stops within a block or two that will take you to any destination you want. Staff was super friendly and inviting. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Close to Megabus drop-off location. Room was bigger than I thought it would be given the location. There was an iron and hairdryer in the room, but no mini fridge (which wasn't necessary for our short stay). There are some things out of the control of the hotel; construction around the area and trash left in the street for city pickup didn't make walking for the most pleasant walking experience. There were coffee stains on the nightstand lampshade and the carpet could use a good cleaning or replacement. Not sure what the parking situation is as we took the bus.
Bed was comfy Location was great Room service was good and quick Too much noise on my floor/too many kids Bathroom smelled like a wet rag Elevators took a long time
Close to everything walking, they staff was great very informative about the area, and very helpful with everything I needed. Would definitely stay there on my next trip to NYC!!
The staff was very friendly. I arrived several hours before check in and was allowed to drop my bags off. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lobby was unusually small. Hotel only had two elevator shafts for 25+ floors and at one point both of them were broken.
Great location! We were a short walk to a metro station, Highline and empire state building. Great food options nearby. Room was clean, although small. Kids had a great time. And they loved getting a cookie everyday! We also had a view of the one world trade center. There wasn't a fridge, which would have been helpful, but the room was small, so I can see how they couldn't fit it in.
Staff was excellent. Bar was golden after we got to the hotel from both exploring and enyoing the city. Concierge was great! Plenty of places around to eat including the hotel. Nice view with a glimpse of the Empire from our room. Rooms were clean, a little cramped, but its NYC. The staff (maids) tends to be forgetful about simple items like toilet paper or anything to stir coffee with! Location its a mix, depending on the line needed. Sometimes we went to 34th ST in order to get some other line.
Staff was excellent, nice, hospitable. The room is small and mediocre-looking. Definitely not worth $400/night or more.
I enjoyed my stay there, I liked receiving a cookie upon arrival. It was supposed to be a king size room, but was just a queen size bed.
I didn't like the service. I didn't get the room I reserved. This hotel is horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Very clean and comfortable. Awesome views with our room. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Great, great place!
Everything was great
Hotellet har en flott plassering på Manhattan. Liten frokostsal, men brukbar, begrenset frokost. Gammelt bygg, men delvis oppusset. Forholdsvis rene rom. Hotellet var litt vanskelig å finne (anonym fasade). Ingen ikke-røykerom i de laveste etasjene. Mye støy fra utvendig Air Condition i rom i 2-4 etasje mot bakgård.
Staff was terrific--warm, friendly and always extremely helpful. The free wifi, included breakfast and location all made for a very comfortable stay. Nothing. It was a terrific stay.
Great view of the Empire State Building, very clean room, and overall a great stay! It was super close to the subway, but far enough away from Times Square that it wasn't crazy hectic. Only complaint-I requested early check in a week before, then upon arrival they said we couldn't check in til 3, despite getting a confirmation email that told me my early check-in had been granted.
The location was fantastic and i liked the security of swiping your card to get in the hotel at nightime. The breakfast eating area was way too small usually nowhere to sit. Also the rooms could be cleaned a little earlier.
Location The 2 elevators can't handle 20 floors
Emmanuel he is the best. The staff is very polite, everything is clean. I highly recommend it. No negative comments
seemed to be newly renovated and relatively clean seemed like there was a little wear and tear strating to occur
Breakfast!! Towels and Shower Curtain smell very bad.
The excellent staff and good breakfast. Great location - would definately stay here again
Location was great. The subway station was only half a block away. You can get anywhere in the City very quickly and easily. Herald Square is a neat place as well. Lots going on at night and day. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the breakfast area is too small - we were never able to sit and eat.
Location; comfortable and good size room; staff were helpful and friendly That the room was cleaned only every other day
good location close to all attractions, front desk staff were nice, room was clean, included breakfast When arrived to our room, a note was on our headboard: "Duvet covers & sheets are clean for your arrival" I sure hope so don't all customers need to have clean sheets and covers? Only 2 elevators, working staff would use it all the time to go between floors, waiting time too long. Breakfast are very salty, buffet not refilled fast enough. Hotel does not give Air miles points
The Hotel is in a great Location 1 min away from Macy's. very helpfull staff.. We will us this hotel for our next visit the New York.
I didn't get to stay there. When I got there the hotel said they had informed Kayak that the room had been canceled and Kayak should had notified me. You didn't and I had to find something else and pay $80 in cabs running around ny to find out I had no room and go to another hotel.
Staff are fairly friendly and responsive. The location is pretty solid, blocks away from various rooftop bars, Ktown, the subway, and Times Square (if you're into that sort of thing). 1. An advertised $15/person airport shuttle service turned into a $24/person airport shuttle service. Do not let yourself be fooled or you will find yourself on the LIRR to Airtrain like I did. 2. The rooms are small. Especially if you are staying in a room with a single bed. 3. Our AC unit caused a random pool to form by the window which resulted in some wet clothes when we woke up the next morning.
I won't stay here again. They claimed that I had no reservation after booking on Kayak and Getaroom when I arrived at 1:45 AM. They weren't helpful in finding me a room until I noted that there was nowhere to go at that time in the morning. Sux.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Tasty free coffee in the lobby. Good sound proof wall so that we did not get bothered by young group's loud chatting next door through night. The only issue was the noise of the air conditioner heater.
Chose this hotel for the price/location. Obviously you don't exactly get what you're paying for in NYC, but it was a clean hotel that was just that, nothing special. They slap you with a $50 resort fee without telling you - was told I had no extra charges at checkout, and saw the charge on my credit card later.
Nice touches were that the lobby had a water dispenser with fresh fruits in the water and cookies were served at the lobby at certain times. Staff was attentive to our needs. Broken shower head- sprayed from the base. Tight quarters with barely enough room to move luggage for 3.
For New York this was a pretty good size room with 2 queen beds.
Cleanliness of rooms and hotel as a whole. More attentive front desk staff. Assisted others before ourselves and other guests who were clearly lined up first.
The hotel was in a great location for sight seeing and the sub way. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. Although the breakfast was an "all you could eat". I thought $16.50 was a little over priced
The location on 28th Street is very central and convenient. One of the elevators didn't seem to be working very well and the other was very slow. Luckily I was on the 2nd floor, so I took the stairs, which were clean and well lit. It was pouring rain when I arrived and the front desk had no umbrellas to lend. It was also very loud from street noise in my room. Inside from the hallway was quiet, even though I was near the elevator.
This was my first stay at Hilton Garden Inn Chelsea. I like everything about this hotel. Location is very good in mid-town Manhattan close to shops, clubs, bars. The customer service was ok. The room was big, very clean & comfortable. If you are in a mood for a Playboy TV channel it's free you can watch it in your room. I was on 19th floor the city view was ok nothing special. I will recommend this hotel to my friends & family. From 0-10 I'll give 9++++. Check-in is at 3pm. I arrived at 3:30 pm and my room was not ready I had to wait for 15 minutes in a lobby.
Everything was 100% perfect. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, view was nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating with our luggage needs etc. I chose to be on the highest floor to get the best view and we heard loud music coming from down the street or somewhere outside as we were going to bed. It eventually stopped, and no one complained of not getting a good night's sleep due to it.
wifi did not work in my room - weak intermittent signal
Customer service, reservation team and management all were pretty terrible. Provided no accomodation for a change or adjustment in reservation. In addition the front desk person was rude and abrupt when nobody else was even in the lobby. I left this hotel and went right next door to the cleaner and friendlier Hotel Indigo.
It was a very basic hotel and rooms were on the small size, but it was exactly what we needed. We loved that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. Clean. Small clean lobby. Staff were generally very friendly. Nothing.
