Fordeler: Wonderful hotel with incredible views over the London Tower! Perfect location, with Tower Hill underground station just below the hotel. We had a noise issue with some water pumps and they changed us the room without any problem, thank you for that! Nice pubs and restaurants close to the hotel. Highly recommendable hotel!

Even though the room is small it has everything you need and if it isnt in the room it’s somewhere else in the hotel. The sky bar is amazing especially at night with everywhere outside lit up

Ulemper: We changed room for one time because the aircon is not working well. We tried to set the temp to 18C with highest fan mode but it has no wind and feels like 20-23. Technician came by and said this is the best temperature they can have. So for people who are scared of heat might need to take this as consideration. (Though you won't feel too hot when you are just lying on bed...) Room 509 ipad screen touching not working too well, cannot change channel since second day so need to use the remote control. A bit surprised that there is no kettle in room. Can't get any hot water so need to get out for hot tea/coffee... Slightly overprice, probably because we booked too late and it is mid-Sept where students/parents are visiting UK...

Ulemper: Had ‘interior’ room was expecting one with a view, as headlined on your web site. We asked to change but no outside view rooms available. Disappointing as we had booked the hotel almost a month before. Who gets the view rooms and why? Didn’t like having to crawl into bed, I.e. no space either side to get into bed as normal, not easy for two pensioners, one with arthritis. Hot Breakfast first morning was good, second morning, only eggs were actually hot.

Fordeler: Great location for the O2. Rooms modern and bathrooms had an excellent range of REN toiletries. Very welcoming staff (this was a repeat stay for myself). Nice little touches such as being offered a glass of lemon/lime water on arrival. I was sharing a room with a friend and really great that the rooms are designed with the hairdryer outside the bathroom (2 can get ready at once) 2 full length mirrors, iron in room too.

Fordeler: Hotellet ligger ca 20 min å gå fra Canary Warf stasjon. Denne tiden må du også minst beregne når du skal gå til restauranter. Hotellet er nytt og fresht. Derfor forundret over harde senger. Dette ble løst med ekstra madrass. Vennlig service fra ansatte. Stort og bra rom, men elendig utsikt(rett i en kontorbygning)Vi spurte om alternativt rom m utsikt(hadde superior-rom) men dette ville koste oss 80 pund ekstra pr natt! Fint og stort bad med både kar og dusj-hjørne, savnet hånddusj (kun tak-dusj). Hyggelig liten spa-avdeling med bl.a stille-rom og badstu, men savnet et lite basseng, eller jacuzzi. Vi hadde ikke frokost inkludert, men en hyggelig liten butikk rett ved siden av hotellet hadde ferske påsmurte croissanter. Tur til Millenium domen anbefales! Ellers kun 6 min med banen til London bridge. Dette er et godt alternativ til små, dårlige og dyre hotell i sentrum!

Ulemper: The background music in the bar and at breakfast is a bit loud for relaxing conversation. The restaurant staff may want to be a bit more flexible late in a Sunday night when asked if we can drink a glass of wine i one of the many empty tables overlooking the river.

Ulemper: Bathroom was poor. It was small and instead of glass panels around the shower/bath, the was a shower curtain, which whilst was adequate, was not the most hygienic, reduced the space available in the shower and looked awful. Not what I would expect from a ‘5*’ hotel. The staff at breakfast did not appear particularly interested in making the first meal of the day a particularly pleasant one.

Ulemper: absolute nightmare to get to because of road works surrounding the immediate vicinity, however, this isn't so much a negative about the hotel itself. was disappointed we had the choice of either paying an extra £30 to park in the public car park opposite for 2 days or an extra £50 to have it valet parked. we weren't expecting such a high charge.

Also even when we put the note on the door handle to say not to change bedding towels ect to save water ect the house keeping still came in and changed everything which was a nice little suprise and they also got out a suitcase stand for our suit case which was very nice as well as a little welcome note from house keeping which little chocolates and they also put out more free bottles of water.

Fordeler: The room was very nice and clean. Also even when we put the note on the door handle to say not to change bedding towels ect to save water ect the house keeping still came in and changed everything which was a nice little suprise and they also got out a suitcase stand for our suit case which was very nice as well as a little welcome note from house keeping which little chocolates and they also put out more free bottles of water.
Ulemper: The main thing that i wasnt happy about was that it was a 3pm check in and we got there just after 3 and they said there was no parking left at the hotel and we had to park at jubliee car park which was ok only a few mintues walk but cost us most more in long run. Better if you resever a place when booking. Also breakfast isnt inculded in the price and its very expriance for a breakfast so we left it and had breakfast out. Breakfast should be included in the price for how much you pay for the room.

Fordeler: The view from our room and from the public spaces upstairs were great! they had a great instant hot cocoa in the room. the glass partition for the shower wall was cool because you could press a button and it would fog up. the gym was very hi-tech and actually fun! While the hotel is out of the way and far from city center I wish i'd taken advantage of the historic waterfront offerings while visiting.

Ulemper: Noe lengre å gå til undergunsbanen en først antatt/lovet siden det er blitt gjort endringer i gater sperringer. Restauranten i toppetasjen servere noe overpriset jålete mat etter min smak. Men utsikten var fantastisk.

Ulemper: A little difficult to access at first glance and a TV that was a bit rebellious. If you book a room with a ‘view’ you’ll have the back of all the Canary Wharf buildings and the construction site of the London Spire, so not worth paying extra if you’re just using it to sleep.

Tett på moderne og urbane Shoreditch, som betegnes som Londons Grunerløkka, og der man finner flust med hyggelige og meget bra spisesteder. Hotellet i seg selv er en ombygget tekstilfabrikk - rustikt, røft og "strippet" - likevel lunt, innbydende og veldig hyggelig. Topp betjening. Små rom, men med alt man trenger, savnet kun en kaffekoker. Høy kvalitet på sengene. Rent. Store, kule fellesarealer, der det er rolig og dempet - og flott å sitte med laptopen. God frokost. Hyggelige kaffesjapper like ved. Om man ikke MÅ bo i tetteste sentrum, er dette et fantastisk bra alternativ, anbefales!

I would mention every receptionist names but I dont know them all, however all of them are great attributes to the company! Bar staff are also great, as I'm a regular stay at the hotel they have begun to know what I drink without asking for it, credit goes to a young girl named Caroline(I think) always polite and happy to help. Thank you New road hotel.

Ulemper: Cleanliness needs work, room was dirty, flooring was coming up. The hotels location is right on a main road so there is a LOT of noise from outside at all times of day! It’s also next to a hospital so there is constant sirens. Staff were not particularly helpful or interested in issues when we checked out!

I don't know if it was because the regatta was on and the hotel was extremely busy but we felt we didn't get the warm welcome we usually do and no option to upgrade. My husband informed them it was our wedding anniversary beforehand but we didn't even get so much as a 'happy anniversary' from when we checked in.

Ulemper: Despite I have booked not the standard, but executive room, chosen based on the pictures on booking.com, I have got the room very different from what was on the picture. The room was old, the same which was on the pictures of standard room. Furniture is old as well as carpets. While my colleague who have booked cheaper, standard room got the renovated modern room. Reception explained that the room differs by its amenities and the access to the lounge, which was strange as I have chosen and paid for the room at the picture and it was very weird that the standards are better in this hotel. Was disappointed. Will not go to this hotel anymore, since they haven’t explained how to get renovated modern room paying for it and why it didn’t reflect the picture on the booking...

Fordeler: Hotellet er veldrevet, med hyggelig personale. Frokosten var meget god, med deilig kaffe. Jeg likte godt at hotellet belønner deg hvis du lar være å rengjør rommet. Hotellet ligger i kort gåavstand til Brick Lane, Spitafields marked og Shoredich.
Ulemper: Det var mye byggestøy fra nabobygget, hovedsakelig på hverdager. Noe «gammel» lukt i rommet jeg hadde.

Ulemper: Kjøleskapet på rommet virket ikke (lot seg ikke åpne), på badet var det ikke mulig å regulere temp på vannet i badekaret, så det var kokende. Dusjen fungerte fint. Shampo og balsam i en og samme flaske fungerer ikke i det hele tatt, det er som om man ikke har balsam i det hele tatt. TV'en var bitte liten, og mange kanaler virket ikke (svart skjerm) og på et så stort rom er det litt merkelig. Treg fjernkontroll. Rommet var i andre etasje med utsikt rett inn i et forretningsbygg. Måtte dra gardinen for og leve i mørket for å forhindre innsyn. Liker ikke vegg-til-vegg tepper. Måtte be om te til frokost (skulle serveres ved bordet), og ble ikke spurt om jeg ville ha påfyll. En liten kopp te er ikke nok til frokost. Veldig dyrt rom, ikke verdt prisen. Kommer ikke tilbake.

Ulemper: The only thing that wasn't great was that our room was next to a maintenance closet and multiple times throughout the evening and morning we could hear the staff talking and moving things around etc. This led to us being woken up earlier than we would have liked on the morning, but wasn't too bad as we did have a train to catch! Better sound proofing would have sorted this issue and next time I would just ask for a different room.
