Ulemper: Beliggenheten var bare ok.

Fordeler: Veldig fint hotell. God frokost som var inkludert. Stort rom (i London). Veldig god seng og sengetøy. Flott hjelpsomt personale.

Fordeler: Executive Lounge very well managed Front desk staff and concierge efficient and friendly Junior suite excellent although shower door opening was not always easy

Ulemper: I had the lamb for main course in the Dining Room - the meat was below standard (undercooked with fat throughout)

Ulemper: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Fordeler: Location

Ulemper: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money. I guess it is more suited to bull buy tours who seemed to consume the hotel than a business traveler.

Ulemper: Room/ bathroom windows does not isolate street noise. They have to look at this matter seriously. As it’s bringing the rate and experience to a lower level.

Fordeler: Breakfast was very good. Eggs were cooked to order the way you like them. There was a lot of choice.

Ulemper: Very soft pillows. Too soft and not comfortable Nose from trains

Fordeler: Rommet var veldig fint og ganske behagelig. De ansatte var veldig imøtekommende og hjelpsomme.

Fordeler: Service og personale var over all forventning. Fikk oss til å føle oss spesielle og svært velkommen.

Ulemper: Room was like a dungeon. Very disappointing.

Fordeler: All the staff were great, very friendly and wanting to help.

Ulemper: I didn't like the room, we were given a disabled room with disabled fixtures and fittings in the bathroom, I didn't request this and wasn't informed about it, the first I new was when we got to the room. Paintwork flaking off of woodwork, split silicone sealant around sink area. Your average premier Inn room was better than this...….and much cheaper. Frosted secondary double glazing on the windows, absolutely no view at all, pull aside the secondary glazing to reveal the middle of the building, pipes, ductwork and filth everywhere (explains the frosted glass).

Fordeler: Nothing good to say. Extremely disappointing

Ulemper: I was downgraded from a deluxe room to a standard room (essentially.a closet)and my compensation was a 14 £ cocktail. The following day the y transferred me to a deluxe room and despite two request to make sure there were no feathers in the room...

Fordeler: The location was in walking distance of many local sites, like Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Horseguards, London Eye, and Parliament. The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was well kept. Had excellent food from their restaurant, 1212.

Fordeler: Lovely comfortable bed and complimentary mini bar.

Ulemper: Long check-in process. And paying an advance of £50 per day for possible charges? which can take up to 7 days to be returned to me.

Fordeler: The location is great.

Ulemper: Firstly I don’t like the service of the bell boy at the front gate. I have been to a lot of hotels including five stars but never have seen the attitude like the bell boys from that hotel. All are standing even though seeing the customer is taking luggages. Secondly I don’t like the attitude of front desks stuff. Already requested for an early check in as I have a meeting and I arrived the hotel at 2:30. It was half an hour before of that hotel policy to check in time. They won’t let me in until 3:03pm and said the room is not ready yet. Seeing the customer is waiting and sitting there for half an hour, they have no effort like asking the housekeeper whether the room is ready or no welcome drink at all. Thirdly, I don’t like the room. I booked a river view but the view of the window is so small and can’t even say it is a view. I am feeling my money for that view is not worth it. The room is so small and the hotel is very old. Fourth, the elevator is very old model 1000kgs type and very narrow. It was stopping once in every floor. Very disappointed to take that elevator. Fifthly, I stayed in that hotel at the raining day. The hotel is so old and so bad and even water drops are pouring drop by drop from the ceiling. I saw a bucket and it was collecting the rain drops in front of the elevator entrance of eighth floor. I was so shocked seeing the rain dropping from the ceiling. When I check about the hotel, it says “the Royal Horseguards” is a Five Star Hotel. I don’t know in what part it is being rated five stars. I will rate it not even a three star hotel.

Ulemper: The room was small, the shower pressure was very weak the view was not brilliant

Fordeler: The front fest was very gracious and accommodating. Housekeeping was extremely responsive to requests. Concierge was helpful. The bar was friendly and had a nice light menu. The restaurant was excellent for dinner. It was very easy to get a table and service was excellent.

Ulemper: Took a bit of time to get attention of the waitstaff in the tea lounge for a seat just for a pot of afternoon tea. The breakfast buffet hardly changed over the week we were there so we started going out to breakfast after three days.

Fordeler: I took my partner for his birthday. it was lovely but i wanted the river view room and i rang before we got there to be told it was a river view room. When we arrived that wasn't the case. other than that it was lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.

Ulemper: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Fordeler: De ansatte var bra, spesielt Henrik & Theo. Personalet var gikk langt for å hjelpe oss! Beliggenheten var også utrolig, rett ved siden av Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, i nærheten av Parliament Square, og Buckingham Palace. Svært sentral beliggenhet

Ulemper: Rommene var svært små, men den fungerte veldig bra for oss siden vi var der bare for 3 dager. brydde oss ikke i det hele tatt.

Ulemper: Very small footprint and circulation space for 2 people

Fordeler: The breakfast was good ,fresh and excellent quality. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese each evening. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Ulemper: Our room was very compact, as we are of a senior age group,the position of the bed against the three walls wasn’t easy access.

Ulemper: Ok , the elevator was slow

Fordeler: Location was excellent! Staff really friendly and helpful.

Fordeler: The location was EXCELLENT. We were within walking distance to all the shows and many tourist sights and museums. The staff was awesome. They were Very helpful and were able to answer all my questions. The wine and cheese offered between 5 and 8 was a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

Ulemper: The bathroom needed a hook for a hand towel and another bath towel. One hook is not enough for a bathroom.

Fordeler: Hyggelig resepsjon med tilbud om ost og vin til kvelds. Fine rom med gode senger til en rimelig penge. Supersentral beliggenhet mellom Trafalgar Square og Picadilly Circus. Gangavstand til mange av Londons mest kjente landemerker.

Ulemper: Litt i overkant mye støy fra aircondition med regelmessige mellomrom. Ikke bra for folk som våkner lett.

Fordeler: Unlimited Free wine and cheese from 5pm - 8pm. Don’t think I need to say anything else really

Fordeler: Beliggenhet. Korte avstander til «alt». Meget hyggelig personal på hotellet.

Ulemper: Aircondition fungerte ikke, og var ikke mulig å bytte rom første natta. Personalet var behjelpelig men det hjalp lite med vifter. Fikk byttet rom andre natta. Internett var svært ustabilt, noe som gjorde TV titting umulig.

Fordeler: The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of my meeting in the day. I didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. I will definitely look to stay here when I next need accommodation in London (most months)

Fordeler: The location. Three building away from the underground. Walking distance to ChinaTown and SOHO. Also walking distance to London Eye and Parliament building. Had nearby restaurants, coffee shops and bars

Ulemper: Air conditioning not good enough for summer time. Shower somewhat small

Fordeler: Room was fine and clean. Location was good for our needs.

Ulemper: Room wasn’t made up Bar refused to serve us despite it being before 11pm (they then served someone afterwards) Doorman was obnoxious

Fordeler: The location was perfect! Near to everything! The room was good size. Bonus the water machine outside the rooms and the coffee available at the study room. The staff were polite and professional

Ulemper: The bed was squeaking with every little move, which was extremely annoying. The bed sofa's mattress was of poor quality and uncomfortable to sleep in. There was little natural light available.

Fordeler: Amazing location, good wifi

Ulemper: Rooms are a little tired, make sure you put your do not disturb sign on over night unless you want a early morning wake up by the cleaners.

Fordeler: The location was great the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was ideal for our one night stay

Fordeler: Lovely hotel in convenient location for the main areas of London sightseeing and Theatre locations. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Clean bedrooms.

Ulemper: We opted not to have the breakfast as there is a cafe next door with more competitive rates and options but can’t comment on the hotel breakfast but I should imagine judging by everything else it would be good.

Ulemper: rooms a bit weary, club room more like study/quiet place which is excellent for work but not so much for socializing if that is the requirement
