Fordeler: Fantastic location. The staff were extremely helpful and cheery. The restaurant/bar served delicious cocktails and hearty, tasty breakfast. If were there longer, we would have enjoyed dining in, I’m sure.

Fordeler: The location is great. Right around the corner from the V&A and the Natural History Museum. Across the street from the Tube, and surrounded by great restaurants. This was the perfect home base for a weekend in London. The decor was charming and whimsical, sort of Alice in Wonderland with lots of bright colors and a bird theme which ran through the hotel. Our room was small as most London Hotels are, and finding a place to stow the luggage was a bit of a hat trick, but once we figured it out, everything was great. Although we never had breakfast at the hotel, we did have morning coffee and tea in the tea room every day. Delightful. Would return in an instant!

Fordeler: The hotel is truly lovely. I think we had the smallest room there which I booked unknowingly. But it worked just fine. The bed was so comfy. There were slippers and robes and the bathroom floor was heated. The daily tea was also very nice. I can't write enough to explain how exceptional the hotel, staff and location were. You will have to try it for yourself. Overall I plan to go back to London and stay here again.

Fordeler: Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. We loved the location, near the South Kensington tube station. Very convenient near the Picadilly, Circle, and District lines.

Fordeler: I loved pretty much everything about the hotel. I stayed there twice in September. It was gorgeous inside, extremely well located near the South Kensington tube and nearby pubs and restaurants in Chelsea, the staff was simply wonderful and the rooms were pretty and very comfortable. Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.

Ulemper: The gym was very well appointed in terms of weights, towels and free water but the space was too small in my view, it needed to be at least double the size as only 2-3 people would comfortably fit. Equally, the smaller hotel rooms (where my sisters stayed) have limited space if you are staying for more than 2 nights, but the hotel reception kindly advised us of this beforehand.

Fordeler: The location of the hotel is great, only a 2 min walk from Earl’s Court underground with lots of eateries and pubs In the very near surrounding area. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

Ulemper: Room was cold on arrival but reception sorted this for me when I notified them

Fordeler: This is an excellent hotel, the standard of service is excellent, very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast that only costs £20 a couple if booked day before, only 5 mins walk or less to tube, shops & restaurants etc. A lovely neighbourhood. We were up graded to a larger room, given a courtesy little bottle of wine with chocolates, so a spacious & very comfortable room. This is an excellent run hotel and can very highly recommend it to any one

Fordeler: Loved everything about the hotel, staff were a credit and absolutely fantastic. The personal touch of leaving chocolate wine and cake in our room for my husband's birthday took my breath away. Hotel is conveniently located close to the underground station, it's a great base to explore London. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast top class.

Ulemper: Hotel Kensington was perfect

Fordeler: This was our second time staying at this hotel and experience was just as exceptional as the 1st.

Fordeler: Their location was great. Cell phone to use was extra special for someone visiting for 1st time. Staff very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable.

Ulemper: the only 2 negatives I can think of is... There were a few places where the wallpaper and paint needed a little touch up. No major issues, just wallpaper seams coming loose and a few spots that needed touch up paint. Subway noise if basement room.

Fordeler: The concierge is great. They are helpfull, fast n courteous.

Ulemper: The room that l stayed in has the most awkward lay out. The toilet roll fixture was placed at the side of the bathtub exactly where you get in n out. It got splashed by water from the shower, and one can easily slip over its 15cm protruding metal rod for the spare tissue roll. The magnifying glass was only able to face to the toilet area n not to your face. The toilet flusher was behind the toilet cover. So each time you need to flush it, you ll have to first close the cover. The distance between the wall mirror inside the bathroom, to where you stand in front of the basin was so far that one need to bent extra to see your makeup. But this issue may not be for everybody. One who is taller then my 5.4" height maybe able to reach it better. In general... l used to stay at Crown Plaza Singapore. The experience is very different.

Fordeler: We loved our stay at Crown Plaza right from the moment we were greeted warmly at the hotel entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our wish for a quiet room with a view. Thank you, Simon! Breakfast was a bonus in a spacious area with a very broad selection (including full English breakfast) to cater for the many international guests. The location is excellent with shops, supermarket, pubs all very close. Gloucester Road Underground station is across the road which has a direct link to Heathrow. (Does have some steps, though.) The restaurant is good and the bar area which opens onto a private park is exceptional in warm weather. Overall the vibe of this hotel is of a busy but well organised property with a family friendly, welcoming, international home away from home feel!

Ulemper: Whilst the decor is quite attractive there are some signs that it is getting a little tired. This is only a minor détraction from an overall comfortable room.

Fordeler: - I was very happy with the service and location. - Concierge were very helpful in giving us the right recommendation and advice - I had a noisy next door neighbour which the hotel staff were very quick in resolving the next day and also managed to upgrade the room.

Ulemper: Everything was good. Nothing bad to say

Ulemper: The rooms are very small, with 1 small window.

Fordeler: Informant of tube station and bus stop and very close to Restutants. Also short walk to Hyde park. Backyard is lovely. Offered a breakfast at lounge due to none availability of my room till 4 pm without asking. Thanks for your courtesy. Receptionist are very friendly and helpful.

Ulemper: Room is very tight to move from one side to another side due to fridge cabinets but good for short stays.

Fordeler: Great location with extremely easy access to tube station and Waitrose. Comfortable beds, complimentary water, snacks and slippers. Gym is open 24 hours. Fabulous experience and will definitely come back .

Ulemper: Air conditioning seems a bit too chilly.

Ulemper: Staff friendly but we had been on a long trip (24 hour) and arrived 1 hour early had to wait around until room was ready. Really just wanted to shower and see sights before everything closed. We were limited for time.

Ulemper: Hopeless information when they finaly answers the email with some questions about how to get to the hotel from the airport. They gave the wrong information and we ended up to pay alot of money on taxi. They were not good to give suggestions on what to do.

Fordeler: An interesting hotel with unusual interior decoration. Room was clean, looked brand new and was reasonably sized. Comfortable bed. Complimentary tea/cofee/water and crisps. Very central location.

Ulemper: Very poor quality windows. You can hear every noise from the street. Could hardly rest during the night although I’m an experienced business traveller and a a good sleeper.

Ulemper: Had to wait ages to get drink at Bar when we arrived and in the evening when we returned from evening out Breakfast staff uninterested, scrambled egg was bizarre! Room was nice but so tiny couldn’t get round one side of bed and not room to get plug in socket beside bed....?

Fordeler: Lovely clean comfortable room, with small out door space. Good shower. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were delightful.

Fordeler: It was great! So handy to loads of transport options to go anywhere. The staff were helpful. The room was a comfortable size with all you could need. Being able to leave your bags there while you went about your day after checking out was so handy. Overall a great experience.

Fordeler: A basic hotel, reasonably priced.

Ulemper: Most of the stay was fine, but twice we were given dirty towels, and one afternoon they turned the water off to the building for hours without warning. When we went to inquire, it turned out it was planned maintenance, but they did not bother to warn the guests. The bed was poor quality and you could feel the individual springs in the mattress.

Fordeler: Water was hot.

Ulemper: The room was really a single with a double bed in it. The photos where not representive.

Fordeler: Very cheerful street presence. The geraniums were still in bloom and it was very pleasant to walk down the street and see the welcoming entrance. The front courtyard was very well presented. The room was well laid out and welcoming. Up to date and spotless. the housekeeping staff were thorough and diligent. They did a marvellous job of tidying our room every day. Thank you for that. Nice reading lamps in the wall, a night table on each side with electrical outlets. The suite had a mini kitchen tucked behind behind two frosted glass closet doors and held two electric burners, a nice sized sink and a relatively large mini fridge, a toaster, and a kettle, microwave, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, glasses, cutting board. It was perfect! It was tight with not a lot of counter space between the sink and the burner elements but we managed without any hardship really. It was a lovely room with windows that opened into a courtyard storage area for the hotel. Even though there were a few employees heading in and out of the storage area from time to time, they didn’t disturb us at all. Our room also had the elevator shaft built into it and I never once heard the elevator. You could hear muffled voices in the hall as they got on and off (which is to be expected) but we never once the elevator at work. Very quiet. Very quiet hotel for the most part. And well situated as well. Within a short walking distance you had access to overground trains, underground trains, bus, a shopping mall, grocery stores, dry cleaners. Shepherds Bush is a good 7 to 10 minute walk. We didn’t find that problematic in the least. It was a very enjoyable walk.

Ulemper: I didn’t like the heating/cooling system. It would appear that the controls for the entire set of suites in building are at the reception desk. There is a control panel in each suite but it is regulated by the main control. The only access to temperature control in your room is how hot or cold your room based on the program they’ve chosen, but not whether you want heat vs cold. If the A/C was on you couldn’t change that. You could turn it off but then there was no air movement. And the A/C was cold. Set at 18C. We had one cool rainy day and reception turned off air and put the control at Heat. Our room was so warm it was uncomfortable sleeping. So no happy medium with the temperature controls and no in-suite regulation. The thing I really really didn’t like was the bathroom door. It was a sliding door and it was a frosted glass. No privacy really. And when you slid it shut, unless you pushed and slid at the same time, it made a god awful screech like nails on a chalkboard. No electrical outlets in the bathroom. Blow dryer was hardwired in the closet and the closet was just outside of the bathroom door. The cord wasn’t quite long enough to reach into the bathroom. I would suggest in the kitchen they might put a can opener, a corkscrew & bottle opener and a pair of scissors. I went to reception to borrow a can opener but they didn’t have on there either. Thankfully we travel with our own corkscrew! Also, my husband and I enjoy our coffee in the morning. We each have 3 cups before we even think about starting our day. Every day we had to go to the front desk to ask for a couple of pods as the 1 each provided just wasn’t enough. Every day our requests were met with a scowl and a hard glare. The coffee is complimentary so don’t make your guests work that hard to be comfortable - especially when we were there for 8 days.

Ulemper: There was black mold in our bathroom. The shower was clogged so it did not drain properly. The hotel staff could not find our reservation. The hotel overcharged us.

Fordeler: Rent og pent. Litt tange rom til 4 personer, men en utmerket beliggenhet og trygt område. 10 min gåavstand til Westfield kjøpesenter. Buss rett utenfor døra.

Fordeler: Location was convenient and quiet, local supermarket only a couple of minutes away, overground station also a couple of minutes walk.

Ulemper: Bed was very small for the two of us - like a king-sized single bed - the bedside tables were fixed to the sides of the bed which made it feel quite cramped.
