Hoteller i Bordeaux

Fordeler: I booked this place for my parents; they cannot stop raving about it. They described it as one of the best places they have stayed at (and they are well-traveled)! They loved the layout of the room as well as the breakfast, and found the staff outstanding. They mentioned being so well taken care of. They were very sad to leave, and hope to be back one day. This also means I will be definitely booking there if ever I am in Bordeaux!

Ulemper: Nothing! They loved absolutely everything about their stay!

Fordeler: The room was very spacious and comfortable and we were fortunate to have French doors that opened to a private terrace. The staff were wonderful in providing excellent restaurant recommendations and reservations. We were also able to purchase tickets to the Cite du Vin directly from the hotel.

Fordeler: Beautiful apartment, gorgeous garden patio, outstanding breakfast during the whole day, help and hospitality.

Ulemper: Service bit hit and miss first couple of days. Ordered breakfast in my room first morning but didn’t turn up. Asked for hot milk with coffee got cold but only once Slightly limited evening food menu and didn’t change during stay

Ulemper: Full of design gimmicks but poor quality installations (heating, doors etc.), and not very generous. Would not come back.

Ulemper: Room , stuff , expensive, no any amenities for 4 star hotel

Fordeler: The hotel is at a very central spot and right now there was a christmas market right in front with hot red wine that was a nice surprise and an additional bonus to having this hotel. It is very close to restaurants and central sightseeing locations as well as the opera. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. There are bath robes in the bathroom and a heated floor! Everyone at the reception and the spa is very nice. The spa is very private (only a few people are allowed at a time) and has really nice facilities so it is very relaxing. The massage is very good and relaxing too with nice smelling natural oils. We liked the breakfast as well- the 9 euro breakfast has coffee, juice, cereal, bread and jams and a 19 euro breakfast that has cooked english breakfast and other options. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and will return if we come back to Bordeaux!

Ulemper: There is no parking at the hotel but there is public parking very close by that the hotel has a reduced rate for - around 25 euro per day. The restaurant and coffee at the hotel are not open all the time so you have to time when to go for coffee. If you want to use the massages and the spa make sure you book in advance because the spa is very small thus gets full quickly and there might not be an open spot if you wait till the last moment. We called the spa directly and one of us still couldnt book a massage because it was full. Also the rooms are quite small but we expected that and there is a bath tub so if you have a disability it might be hard to get into.

Fordeler: Location, the breakfast was excellent, restaurant staff super nice, some front desk staff helpful. The bathroom floor was heated!

Ulemper: I got the worse room possible in terms of no window opening, no fresh air & too stuffy. The room was clean & well appointed but the lack of a window opening was a total bummer. Also, window faced a wall. Don’t get room 203!

Fordeler: Close to train and local tram. It was also close to a store where we could get a few provisions.

Ulemper: The few blocks surrounding the hotel were rather seedy.

Fordeler: The location is great, just a few minutes walk to train or tram station

Ulemper: The room is too small. And we booked No Pre-Payment Room to pay at the hotel,however, the hotel blocked my credit before we check in.

Fordeler: Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and the buffet was replenished regularly. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean.

Ulemper: The room was quite small, luckily my husband and I are not very big people. We choose the location as it was close to the railway station and were arriving there, it was quite a walk into the actual old town from there. If we were to return to Bordeaux I think we'd chose a more centrally located hotel.

Fordeler: Nice Hotel with friendly Stuff. Good place for visit the City of Bordeaux. Close to the Gare St. Jean.

Ulemper: Small rooms but okay because just need to sleep.

Fordeler: Staff were extremely helpful and professional. The hotel was very busy and there was only one member of staff dealing with arrivals, departures and the bar. He was amazing, never flustered or complaining and managed everything beautifully.

Ulemper: We liked everything.

Fordeler: Good location, walk just 5mins from the station.

Ulemper: There are no electric kettle.

Fordeler: Very friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Ulemper: Would like kettle and tea/coffee in room.
