Fordeler: The suite was very comfortable. The food was of a high standard and the location is good. But the best thing by far about our stay was the staff at the Langham, especially Christina and Rodika in the Langham Club. They are just a joy to be around. Thank you for looking after us so well!

Ulemper: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Fordeler: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Fordeler: My daughter and I were greeted like we were royalty. Everybody is friendly, efficient and professional. The Ritz is gorgeous and always clean. The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend The Ritz, because you will certainly not be disappointed.

It was a fantastic experience and I considered it value for money despite some eye watering prices , the staff are very friendly and great fun . Great is a very over used world but I would certainly apply it here , best hotel I’ve stayed in . The conciage are just like on tv very friendly and welcoming

Ulemper: Virtually nothing , the only thing ld change is the tables I’m the bar , bit Formica like . That is really a tiny criticism compared with all else in this superb hotel

Fordeler: Breakfast Room Service (as restaurant was not open before I had to leave).

Ulemper: Everything else - courteous, but very unhelpful staff in resolving issues and making guests feel comfortable. Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually). Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Ulemper: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Ulemper: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money. I guess it is more suited to bull buy tours who seemed to consume the hotel than a business traveler.

Ulemper: Room was like a dungeon. Very disappointing.

Fordeler: All the staff were great, very friendly and wanting to help.

Ulemper: I didn't like the room, we were given a disabled room with disabled fixtures and fittings in the bathroom, I didn't request this and wasn't informed about it, the first I new was when we got to the room. Paintwork flaking off of woodwork, split silicone sealant around sink area. Your average premier Inn room was better than this...….and much cheaper. Frosted secondary double glazing on the windows, absolutely no view at all, pull aside the secondary glazing to reveal the middle of the building, pipes, ductwork and filth everywhere (explains the frosted glass).

Ulemper: I was downgraded from a deluxe room to a standard room (essentially.a closet)and my compensation was a 14 £ cocktail. The following day the y transferred me to a deluxe room and despite two request to make sure there were no feathers in the room...

Fordeler: The location was in walking distance of many local sites, like Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Horseguards, London Eye, and Parliament. The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was well kept. Had excellent food from their restaurant, 1212.

Ulemper: Long check-in process. And paying an advance of £50 per day for possible charges? which can take up to 7 days to be returned to me.

Fordeler: The location is great.

Ulemper: Firstly I don’t like the service of the bell boy at the front gate. I have been to a lot of hotels including five stars but never have seen the attitude like the bell boys from that hotel. All are standing even though seeing the customer is taking luggages. Secondly I don’t like the attitude of front desks stuff. Already requested for an early check in as I have a meeting and I arrived the hotel at 2:30. It was half an hour before of that hotel policy to check in time. They won’t let me in until 3:03pm and said the room is not ready yet. Seeing the customer is waiting and sitting there for half an hour, they have no effort like asking the housekeeper whether the room is ready or no welcome drink at all. Thirdly, I don’t like the room. I booked a river view but the view of the window is so small and can’t even say it is a view. I am feeling my money for that view is not worth it. The room is so small and the hotel is very old. Fourth, the elevator is very old model 1000kgs type and very narrow. It was stopping once in every floor. Very disappointed to take that elevator. Fifthly, I stayed in that hotel at the raining day. The hotel is so old and so bad and even water drops are pouring drop by drop from the ceiling. I saw a bucket and it was collecting the rain drops in front of the elevator entrance of eighth floor. I was so shocked seeing the rain dropping from the ceiling. When I check about the hotel, it says “the Royal Horseguards” is a Five Star Hotel. I don’t know in what part it is being rated five stars. I will rate it not even a three star hotel.

Fordeler: The front fest was very gracious and accommodating. Housekeeping was extremely responsive to requests. Concierge was helpful. The bar was friendly and had a nice light menu. The restaurant was excellent for dinner. It was very easy to get a table and service was excellent.

Ulemper: Took a bit of time to get attention of the waitstaff in the tea lounge for a seat just for a pot of afternoon tea. The breakfast buffet hardly changed over the week we were there so we started going out to breakfast after three days.

Fordeler: I took my partner for his birthday. it was lovely but i wanted the river view room and i rang before we got there to be told it was a river view room. When we arrived that wasn't the case. other than that it was lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.

Ulemper: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Ulemper: The first receptionist I dealt with gave me the wrong room despite I offered to give her the booking reference number. But when I went to the other receptionist she supported me with a nice room. The other thing is that the housekeeping didn’t clean my room in the second day although I pressed the clean request button early morning . Thank you and best regards,

Fordeler: How friendly and helpful the staff were. The bed was very comfortable and the food was good. As this was a joint business / mini-break it was good to be conveniently located for both Victoria and central London.

Ulemper: Mid evening the water running for the bath was not as hot as we would have preferred. Not a deal breaker.

Fordeler: Location is great

Ulemper: Call in advanced to inform the hotel that my flight rescheduled, hotel receptionist put me on hold and no response. Concierge giving wrong information, and that when I arrived at that location, the place does open on Sunday.

Fordeler: Bed super comfy , location is good . Staffs are very friendly !

Ulemper: The room we have stayed (room 434) in a terrible condition . Need serious remodeling .Nothing like they posted on the internet . The draw of night stand is very dirty , lots of crumbs . Feels like three stars only .

Fordeler: Location is wonderful if you want to be near Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abby. The breakfast bar was amazing if you get it with your stay. If you are one to eat breakfast every day it’s delicious and worth the stay “if” breakfast is included with the price of your booking. The fitness area and the spa is wonderful as well! Afternoon tea is exquisite!!!
