Fordeler: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Ulemper: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Ulemper: Hotel was on the tail end of renovations and handover to new owner. Not a big deal but did take away from the overall feel of hotel at ground level.

Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Ulemper: The room was a big disappointment, quite spacious but very 'tired' and in need of a big update. The nets at the window were grey, there was a hole in one of the wardrobe doors as if it had been kicked and the bathroom had a shower curtain!!!

Fordeler: I came to the Sanderson to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and the place truly exceeded our expectations. Was greeted by a very friendly lady called Anastasia at the front desk who upgraded our room which was amazing ! The hotel left a lovely birthday message and cake in the room for us aswell. My favourite thing about the hotel is the decor and the lovely staff . Will definitely be coming again !

They were Very helpful and were able to answer all my questions. The wine and cheese offered between 5 and 8 was a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

Fordeler: The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of my meeting in the day. I didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. I will definitely look to stay here when I next need accommodation in London (most months)

Fordeler: The location was EXCELLENT. We were within walking distance to all the shows and many tourist sights and museums. The staff was awesome. They were Very helpful and were able to answer all my questions. The wine and cheese offered between 5 and 8 was a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.
Ulemper: The bathroom needed a hook for a hand towel and another bath towel. One hook is not enough for a bathroom.

Et av vinduene på rommet viste seg å være blendet. Ikke mulig med frokost kl 07.00 på søndag. Innsjekk via app fungerte ikke. Vi fikk beskjed om at rommet var gitt noen andre. Noe som senere viste seg å ikke stemme. Brukte 20 minutter på innsjekk. Romnøkkelen virket kun i et døgn. Unødvendig å bruke 15 minutt på å fikse dette.

Ulemper: I had problems with: 1) having to switch room because of plumbing technical problems ... 2) not having the room view-location requested and paid for ... despite having to switch to another room without the view requested. 3) having noticed (unfavorable odor) in the drinking glasses during having the dinner. I forgot to take one luggage from the room and until I ask them after few hours then they checked and telling yes they are keeping. I saw the bag is unlock and when I ask they said no lock. So upset. Fordeler: SoHostel is brilliantly located for getting around London using public transport and close to many of the big tourist attractions, tourism services and top shopping destinations like Oxford St, Regent St and Carnaby St. The private room I had was very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned throughout the day and spotless. Staff were very helpful especially with luggage when the lift was out of order. Common area/ pub was cheery and the breakfast included was really good value. Dinner menu was wholesome, good size portions and also good value. I also liked the fact that there were a decent number of vegetarian options - and that there is a Tesco and a Boots really nearby for any other needs.

Ulemper: All doors were closing very noisy. They should be repaired. For this reason, we cant sleep first night of our stay and we bought earplug. We booked double room but not feel comfortable only for this reason. Also, I think, double rooms should be located further away from crowded dormitories.

Ulemper: We stayed in an Executive room with access to the Lounge where breakfast was free. And as the old adage goes.... you get what you pay for ! The eggs were inedible and other food seemed stale. No bottles of water / diet soda in the lounge. Over an 8 night stay, we ate there ONCE. There was LOUD renovation noise all day long. The room requires more lighting and the decor seems very dated. Housekeeping needs help - some days they replaced the hand towels, some days they didnt. Some days the room wasnt turned down till past 6 pm. We had an important package delivered to the hotel - left with the Concierge. On checking, they said they had not received it. We followed up the next day and they "found it". Apologized for not delivering it earlier. Overall, the Concierge service is condescending at best.

Ulemper: YES ! THE BED !!! I am still nursing an injured knee. The bed was too big for the room plus it had a frame which took up even more space from the room. Other than that it was a comfortable mattress and nice quiet room.

Ulemper: NOT good value. NOT anybody's fault. It's very difficult for even big name hotels to compete anymore in the historical, traditional locations. Mayfair is Georgian period, latest Victorian. Rooms are small. Noisy. Lifts cramped and shaking. Corridors dark. Thin line between ye olde quaint and 'old dump. Modern hotels win EVERY TIME. Regret breakfast very poor - Gordon Ramsay would be embaressed with his own restaurant in the mornings.

Ulemper: The reception in 1st floor rather than ground floor is very inconvenient. There’s an elevator but they don’t tell you about it. So you see residents go down the stairs with luggage but no one tells them where the lift is hidden. Breakfast is very modest and cheap. The concierge doesn’t answer the phone. Also reception takes few calls to answer.

Hotellet virket uforberedt på at vi kom ,selv om vi bestilte i januar. Har bodd på hotellet 2 ganger før og hatt en annen opplevelse. Derfor ble vi skuffet denne gangen.

Ulemper: the breakfast pancakes and waffles, the room scent too strong in lobby, horrible elevator music playing all over the hotel, worn down interior, lamps that didn't work, the door had been painted so many times it was hard to open and close without using a lot of force. The hotel just doesn't feel luxurious at all.

Great staff, all very helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic room, spacious and we'll equipped. Room was quiet even though we were at the heart of London.

Ulemper: The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at after 4pm. Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Ulemper: It is very shabby - not unclean per se, but forlorn and uncared-for. Some of the staff were friendly, but most indifferent. They seemed overworked.

Ulemper: The staff were not welcoming, when I checked out the receptionist didn't not say good morning or good bye, they did not speak to me. When I arrived back after an evening out about 12 30, the receptionist didn't even look up and say good evening. The decorated is badly in need of a lick of paint, very dated and dirty. The mattress on my bed was completely shot, the springs were gone.

Ulemper: The furniture old and in very bad conditions. Scratches on the furnitures, paper on walls broken and dirty, cover of the lamp broken and very dirty. No mini bar in then room and not even a bottle of water. Wi fi very low and not often working. Really not possible to work if you need to.
