Long flight from Boston to Zurich was so hard to bear. I understand making money...but this is ridiculous!!"

Ulemper: "In order to board we were requested to line up at gate according to seating group. And then had to wait there in line standing for almost 45 minutes before we were finally told we could proceed to board. No reason for lining up so far ahead of time....and had to stand....."
Fordeler: "The ambient being so relaxing felt asleep all the way to Zurich."

Fordeler: "Easy and comfortable. Service was good and with a smile. The planes were clean and arrived on time for my connection."
Ulemper: "The WC was so small I could barely even stand in it."
Fordeler: "The staff was friendly and accommodating. I LOVE that we were given ice cream and chocolate - only wish I'd been given more chocolate. They came by with drinks often and made sure that we were well hydrated."
Ulemper: "It was only an hour long flight, and I slept most of the way. From what I could tell, the staff seemed friendly. Only complaint would be that on the way to the plane (we had to take a bus) we were packed in like sardines and it was very hot. Once we got to the plane, we were left standing in the bus for a couple minutes. Because of the heat, I thought I was going to pass out."

KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

Flight delayed 5 hours

They canceled our flights that went on anyway.

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordeler: "The best airline ever! Super friendly crew and staff, great customer service and nice planes. Love KLM!"
Ulemper: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Ulemper: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Ulemper: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Although we boarded late it was smooth and easy. Flight attendants were very pleasant.

Cannot get an extra nonalcoholic drink without paying for it. For such a long flight, annoying!

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

Ulemper: "Kayak are nothing but fraud. Pure fraud. Took my money and I didn’t get the chance to travel."
Fordeler: "I've flown SAS a few times and have always been favorably impressed with the service. On this flight we booked the "bare bones" fare and paid extra for checked bags and extra-legroom seats. The overall cost was still better than most other airlines."

Ulemper: "Not losing our bags and delaying our boarding massively despite us having completed information in advance on SAS website. United Airlines inability to assign seating all the way through, throwing their hands in the air and blaming SAS, while SAS did exactly the same thing about United."

Ulemper: "When people lean their seats back their heads end up in your face and you are forced to lean your seat back to make separation from passenger in front of you"
Ulemper: "Flight was cancelled and received no notification from the airline, no re-booking help... nothing. Had to figure everything out myself and couldn't get another flight till the next day and was stuck in the airport for 8 plus hours trying to find answers. I will never book an SAS flight again."

Ulemper: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."

Fordeler: "The travel magazine was excellent. Flight attendant wasn't rude, but I didn't find him friendly or welcoming. He gave tea/coffee and water to both of the men sitting with me but not me even though I asked for it. One of the men gave me his water and told the attendant I had asked for one."

Dette virker unødvendig tungvint, spesielt med tanke på at det var ekstra lang ventetid hos kundeservice i den aktuelle perioden. Heldigvis var det mulig å få hjelp via Facebook, men det er visst ikke vanlig."

I filed a lost and found report at the airport. I will contact the airline , hope they will find my bags or at least provide vouchers for my one week vacation."

Ulemper: "They charged me 60 pounds to check my bag after I checked my bag in online. When I got to the airport, they told me I had a bag on my connecting flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki but not on my flight to Copenhagen from LHR. At the airport I was charged 60 pounds for a small bag. Crazy! Completely unreasonable. Never flying SAS again if I can avoid it."

Air France bumped us without notice due to overbook. All other flights were overbooked. Had to pay $400 for a train to Bordeaux. Luggage was never returned to us. Now in Bordeaux for a week without any of our belongings. Not sure the flights back to the US will be honored. Worse travel experience of my life.

There was family that was not seated together, some seated in business class and some in economy that kept having meetings in the business class area in the aisles and hovering over other business class passengers seats. The crew was ignoring this and never attended to this matter despite the obvious discomfort of other passengers. Also for business class there was no service until after more than 1 hour in the air. I did however see the steward go to economy several times with coffee several times during this hour. The staff was friendly when they did finally decide to provide service, that I liked.

Check in was a disaster. We had to check in to each leg separately - and had to figure that out on our own. Buying a FinnAir marketed flight created a nightmare.

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

Fordeler: "Fell asleep and didn’t even realise. Finnair is very friendly and the staff are super nice. I was very thirsty and asked for two cups of water instead of one and the lady was not hesitant to give me two cups in quick succession. Very good air company"
Ulemper: "Nothing really too bad, you get what you expected. May of been nice to have a free sandwich as it’s a non stop flight - this is because Lufthansa has one stopover and offers a free sandwich and drink."
Ulemper: "Quite narrow seats and seat pitch in economy, but the price was right. Poor quality seatback screens but a good selection of films and tv"
Fordeler: "Loved Finnair. Hated Justfly.com. If you own this company, you need to end up like Blockbuster or Circuit City."
Ulemper: "If I would have purchased my tickets from Finnair.com, I would have had a much better experience. Kayak found me a good price but purchasing the tickets through Justfly.com was the biggest mistake of my life. The trip ended up costing me $285 more than what I budgeted and there was zero customer ser"

Ulemper: "The flight was late to Helsinki and we missed our connecting flight to Barcelona that was also on Finnair. I was given a hotel voucher to a nice hotel with a complimentary dinner voucher. The dinner was a buffet that was limited and less than mediocre. A chicken option was not even provided, no soup"
Fordeler: "The crew were professional and courteous"
Ulemper: "Nothing, as it’s a short flight!"
Fordeler: "Lovely crew, very good entertainment system."
Ulemper: "The transfer was a disaster. We had to go through the security check (even though the transfer was in the Schengen area) and almost missed our connecting flight."
Fordeler: "New plane, good food choices."
Ulemper: "Plane could use a deep clean. Entertainment choices were limited in terms of latest blockbusters."
Ulemper: "The transfer was too complicated, long distance to walk, security check line, not enough time for transfer, had to run to catch the next flight"
Fordeler: "The crew is excellent. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Both on board and at the desk inside the airport. They listen to your needs and respond the best they can. Seats are comfortable enough for Economy. Good selection of movies to watch. The flight was on time and arrived even a little earlier than expected."
Ulemper: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."
Fordeler: "Lots of movie choices."
Ulemper: "Boarding was in a very tight space and I couldn't hear the gate agent on the intercom well."
Fordeler: "Pleasant and friendly crew. Attentive and professional service."
Ulemper: "Late inbound flight made our flight delayed. No info at gate, until a few minutes before boarding. Small, crammed seats. Very worn seatbelts gives a less than favorable impression."

Ulemper: "Finnair had the worst leg room I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"
Fordeler: "Actually had an empty seat next to me on the flight... That never happens anymore..."
Ulemper: "Nothing it was an enjoyable flight all the way around..."
Fordeler: "It was comfortable and smooth."

Fordeler: "I was very satisfied by the flights by Finnair - kind personnel, good food, on time flights."
Ulemper: "On a 4 hour flight, food had to be purchased on board or (as I later learned) purchased and ordered in advance and this option was not offered to me in check in process."
Ulemper: "Late boarding, late taking off, late landing, and then there was no gate crew to at least get us off the plane."
Ulemper: "I don't live in Riga and had pick up scheduled in Rigas airport to take me home to Telsiai, Lithuania. Because flight was delayed and I had to fly to Talin and then to RigaI I arrived at 10pm plus took me another 30min to figure out what happened with my luggage. I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("

Ulemper: "... but a disaster when things go wrong. Too many pilots "sick" on new year day so our HEL-SIN flight was cancelled. We spent three hours at the airport queueing and only getting a hotel. No alternative flight. We spent an hour waiting on line at their call center (no local numbers, only one Finland number) and got rebooked on a super tight HEL-FRA-LHR-SIN connectiob, which we barely made as the connection times were so short. Plus they messed up the checkin so we got denied boarding in Frankfurt and lost our suitcases. Perfect storm... we will NEVER take this airline again. Totally understaffed and I competent. Fly a major airline and pay a little more to avoid things like this..."

Fordeler: "It's a direct flight, it runs on time, the staff on the ground and on the flight are professional, courteous, and helpful. If you are lucky enough to have an empty seat next to you, the seating is quite comfortable, with adequate foot and stretching room."
Ulemper: "For in-flight entertainment, the ceiling-mounted screens along the aisle are hard to see and offer no choices for viewing. The food, as usual, was poor. I ordered vegetarian meals, and on the return trip for both meals was given the same soggy pasta with tomato sauce--no protein (why not add a few chickpeas or white beans?)."

Fordeler: "Although I booked this as Finnair, it was actually a British Airways flight, as I knew it would be. And it was fine--I don't think Finnair gets much credit, but whatever. I'd actually have liked to travel with someone more exotic!"

Ulemper: "I booked this trip thinking it was with a European carrier - I had specifically wanted to avoid an American carrier. I was unable to confirm my flight online and had to ring because at NO POINT was I sent info that it was AA and not Finnair. I was charge almost $60 for this service because I did not have the right references sent with my confirmation email. T he seats were cramped and uncomfortable, I was unable to pick my seat on any flight and despite my request could not change it. Boarding at Chicago was a farce, none of the ground crew seemed to be in charge and we barely started boarding with 20 mins to takeoff. Needless to say the flight left late and we had to wait to take off, and of course had to wait to land in London."

Ulemper: "We cannot think of one thing they could have done better. They were a very professional crew."

Our special meals ordered in advance were provided how ever a little limited Flight was generally smooth and we arrived earlier than scheduled even though we have left later than scheduled. Great service. New, Clean and comfortable aircraft The process while in transit at Lomé was fast and simple."
Ulemper: "The fasten seatbelt was constantantly on (not only while in turbulence) Though we had two full rows available for us, the seat handles could not be lifted; hence the full row could not be utilized... No entertainment at all. This can be advised ahead for you to come with adequate tablet."
Fordeler: "The flight itself was good."
Ulemper: "The only thing that I felt was not appropriate was that they made me check in my carry-on at the gate. Apparently, the airline requested 55 passengers to check their carry-on bags...but they just selected the first people who were closest to the gate. I purposely did not check a bag because I had limited time to make a train connection at my final destination, plus I had to go thru customs and I knew that in itself would be time consuming. I explained this to the airline staff, but they did not care. I think they should have first asked for volunteers; and if still needed, then randomly select people to check in the carry-on. Also they only were making people with the “suitcase” carry-on to check them in....anyone with a duffle-looking bag was not even bothered. Luckly, I’m mange to make my train connection, but I was running to do this...not fun at all."
Ulemper: "Switched planes both ways, changed my paid for seating. No notifications. Excess luggage charges. Would never recommend this airline."
Fordeler: "Smooth flight"
Ulemper: "We had to pay extra for checked baggage which were not aware of earlier. The counter person told us we could have saved if we purchased it earlier online and would have saved us 15 euros per person"
Fordeler: "Excelent fly! No deley! Excelent crew! Good food!"
Fordeler: "Nothing. Their mistakes caused an awful experience. And a 24 hour trip from the east coast to Italy is ridiculous."
Ulemper: "I was livid by their unapologetic nature, their disorganization, their delays, the fact that every customer service agent said something different, the fact we had to pay for bags twice as a result of their delays. We should t have to do extra work to get reimbursed after the fact. They should not charge us right the. and there. It’s stealing. They cost us money and we didn’t get what we paid for."
Fordeler: "Flight was delayed leaving Newark so we missed our connection in Portugal which was supposed to take us straight to Venice. Instead TAP gave us a replacement flight to Madrid and then from Madrid to Venice A FLIGHT WITH TWO STOPS IS NOT WHAT WE WANTED OR PAID FOR. Madrid was also delayed and we missed our connection to Venice. We got a new flight from Madrid to Venice and had to wait 5 hours for it. A trip from New Jersey to Venice ended up taking OVER 24 HOURS!!!! Due to the disgraceful disorganization and service of TAP PORTUGA we missed our best friends rehersal dinner a memory we would have loved to have. Extremely disorganized, terrible customer service OH AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR OUR BAGS TWICE to get reimbursed later but I don’t believe anything Tap Portugal says so we’ll see. Staff advice did not align and they were unapologetic for the experience we received."

Fordeler: "The best thing was the attention and kindness of the crew on board: Excellent! Although I do have some complaints, I would say Tap is a quite good airline that should improve some aspects."
Ulemper: "The boarding in Lisbon was not efficient. It took a lot of time to get people on the plane and the land personnel in charge were not nice at all. I would even say very bad humoured! Plus the majority of passengers were kept standing for a very long time before entering the lounge at the gate because even though it was full of empty seats we were not allowed to enter the area. The food was not good and the entertainment system on board needs a refreshment to modernise it."
