There was difficulty with my connecting flight due to inconsistent COVID regulations. I was almost not allowed on, despite fulfilling all my requirements for my destination country. I was over-billed by Alaska Airlines for my luggage as well.

Fordeler: "The service from the Singapore Airlines is always impeccable. The food is delicious. The business class seat is spacious and wider than all the US airlines. There are plenty storage space in your seat space. The entertainment system has many choices and has a lot new release movies and shows."
Ulemper: "Unfortunately, the ride on Boeing 777 is not as smooth as the Airbus'. The noise in the cabin is louder. The seat is comfortable but the bed is not. First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone."
Ulemper: "Boarding at Singapore airport was shocking, as we had to wait 6 hours for our flight. Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be."

Ulemper: "The dinner was terrible. I am a long time customer of Singapore Airlines and I know where the standard are. The food on this flight was the worst I've seen. The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

We were told to keep our seats upright during meal times and to keeo our window shutters down during other times. This made sense. But there were passengers right in front of us who had their seats reclined during meal time and the crew did not tell them anything."

Fordeler: "Best coach experience I have had. Good airplane food. Gracious service. Tail wind made us early which was a good thing because LAX is such a mess and it would have been difficult to make our connection with the long bus ride and 2.5 mile walk to the Alaska terminal."

Ulemper: "For heaven's sake, please don't announce a boarding procedure and then not follow it. If you want to have a free-for-all rugby scrum to get on the plane, so be it. But don't announce boarding by rows/groups and then not make even a lame attempt to adhere to it."
Fordeler: "Did not enjoy the vegetarian menu -cold noodles not appealing. Alcoholic drinks very hard to obtain .. orders taken but not received. Service was friendly though"
Fordeler: "I am still trying to find my bags. I missed my connection and Jet Blue made me stand in a line to get rebooked for 7 hours. Unprofessional, uncaring. None of this was my fault but everyone who represents Jet Blue treated me as if it were. Never again"

Next problem was their REFUSAL to give me an aisle seat. I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

Ulemper: "The good got used a bus gate which is acceptable however this typically takes additional time if there is a connection flight"

Ulemper: "When dropping my bag at check in counter, the employee at the counter asked, somewhat intrusively, what the extra fee I paid was for. When I told her it was for the Al Mourjan lounge in Doha, her facial response and attitude came across as judgemental, and was not appropriate"

Fordeler: "The flight attendants were very friendly. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"

Fordeler: "Overall, an excellent short flight. I was flying with oversize luggage (bicycle), which is offer a hassle. The ticket agent took care of it without issue, and it arrived safely. Food was OK. I would try Qatar for a long flight if the opportunity arises."

Ulemper: "When it was time to leave Doha, Qatar there was a massive delay which caused us to be late for any upcoming transfer in BKK. That told me that my would be delivered the next day. I am currently trying to figure out whether they have my bags or not."

Would be nice if the only choice for vegetarians wasn't pasta!

One of my bags didnt arrived. It was a priority bag. And the flight was a really bad experience. There were two kids (2-3 years old) from two families in business class that cried during literally 10 hours! Was a really long flight

Fordeler: "I never made the connection because the flight was cancelled. I liked nothing about the flight and to boot I got sick because I was up for over 40 hours straight... 11 of them spent in Customer Service line."
Ulemper: "It was a terrible two day experience that would have turned into over 3 if I did not cancel my flight plans.... vacation ruined."
Fordeler: "The food was great and the other flight attendants were kind and understanding."
Ulemper: "There was a flight attendant who was of an older demographic who was extremely rude to me and not accommodating at all to myself, my husband, or my children. She had an attitude and seemed irritated by my questions, concerns, and overall being there. We had an issue with seating and no seats together with our 4 and 7 year old."

Ulemper: "The seats are like torture devices. So small and uncomfortable. After 14 hours of travel, my knees were sore from jamming into the seat in front of me, and I'm only average height. When the person in front of you puts their seat back, their headrest is practically under your chin. A disgrace."
Ulemper: "There was only one agent checking in business class passengers until a bunch of us complained. The Swiss business lounge is too small with not enough seats"

Ulemper: "Open check in counters on time as scheduled. They were half hour late at least"

Ulemper: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

Fordeler: "Swiss air Business is an excellent choice. I will fly this Airline again. It was extremely comfortable, service was excellent, and the flight crew made up our lost time in the air. We had a tight connection and they waited for us."

Fordeler: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Ulemper: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

Ulemper: "We were glad to have extra leg room at the bulk head, however, the seats themselves were extremely narrow. My elderly father found it exceptionally difficult to sit and stand from the seat. The seat table creates an ever tighter fit for someone with special needs."

Fordeler: "Food was better than some other long-haul flights I’ve been on. Plane fairly clean and comfortable."
Ulemper: "Entertainment options more limited than Delta or Virgin, who I’ve usually flown intercontinental. Boarding in Zurich was a mess. No order to it and they didn’t start boarding until 20 minutes before takeoff. Nearly every intercontinental flight I’ve taken needs closed to 45-60 minutes to do a full board. Sure we made up the time in the air but the process to get on the plane was frustrating."

Ulemper: "The food in economy class was one of the worst i have ever got in a flight. The chicken was not cooked completely. One of the side dishes was impossible to identify, perhaps past mixed with bread crumbs, only breadcrumbs, who knows? Ver disappointing for swiss. You were doing so much better in the past..."

Fordeler: "The comfort of the aircraft was great, as well as the service of the flight crew. We're very thankful that the airline put us up in a hotel and gave us a voucher for food due to a layover in Zurich."

The crew "tried" to fix it but nothing happened, not blaming them specifically but I don't think they were to concerned about one customer with no entertainment. After a long while it started working again. It was a long flight to not have entertainment the whole duration of the flight. Besides this little problem it was a very good flight. Crew very professional and nice."

Fordeler: "The aisle seat I purchased wasn't miserable like so many economy seats are. But I did have to pay for it!"
Ulemper: "I had such a miserable experience getting to Florence on Swiss Air that I sent a letter of complaint WHILE ON VACATION!! Really. It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

Ulemper: "The door from the US plane was closed in front of our nose and the staff was extremely rude.In Boston the Turkish Airlines representative from the luggage transfers didn't have a clue what he's doing. It was a complete disaster. So, the 1:10hrs between Cluj and Istambul is not enough for an US flight. You guys must schedule more time so people can get to the US plane on time. The Airline is amazing, good food, good crew, great sits, but please work on this schedule because it's so exhausting to stay an additional 11 hours on the road."

I add extra baggage in TKL Airport : my original bag is 23 kg I have until 32kg, The extra baggage was 20kg, So I pay 247 Euro each extra kg 19 Euro. 4. In Istanbul airport they said your next flight tomorrow at 20pm. 5. I have important meeting in morning and my jop in the evening. 6. They changed my teket from turkish airline to Saudi airline 4.00pm, That's mean no different. 7. I ask about my baggage in turkish airline deck they said don't worry every thing will be okay. 8. I ask for hotel they said you have to make visa cost 60 dollars and you know I have to pay taxi and Chang money... Pla Pla, Actually this is not respecting and very bad organization. 9. I didn't make visa and stay from that time until 3.pm in primum lungs. 10. I went to Saudi airline deck to take my boarding. 11. They said you have extra baggage, I explain them that I payed already to turkish airline. 12. They said you have to go back to turkish airline deck about this extra kg's. 13. I did going back to them they said we cannot do anything, leave one bag here and we send the other one later. Actually this stupid airline and this stupid employee's dealing with me like a stupid, all my time I walk every where in that stupid airport, they just gives me orders and I have to follow like it was my mistake. 14. I showed my alfursan membership to Saudi airline deck and they helped me. 15. When I arrived to Riyadh my baggage wasn't there, this is mean that this stupid turkish people that the have to work on barbcue and haircut, but airports jop needs professional people. That's was my first and last flight with them."

Fordeler: "Another excellent business class service from the team at Turkish Airlines. The food offering was high quality, and the little cultural influences made it an enjoyable experience."
Ulemper: "The cabin design is perhaps looking a little dated and tired compared to some of its business class competitors. This was also true of comparing the 3 flights I had on a Boing 777 model versus one of the short haul legs on a more modern Airbus."

Fordeler: "Great service in the airplane plus they offer some amenities like slippers, tooth paste and toothbrush, they offer you wet towels to clean and refresh yourself during he flight. Really good."

Fordeler: "Good comfort, staff friendly and smiling. Passport control, security and boarding were straightforward."
Ulemper: "No boarding pass available online in advance for flights from Nicosia (neither electronic nor printed). Only to be collected at the airport. As a result , although I had no hold luggage (only cabin bag), I had to queue at the check-in/drop-baggage desk to obtain my boarding pass! This is the old prehistoric system dating back to the last century."

Ulemper: "The issue of excess baggage. Would appreciate to buy on line before my flight so that I know how much to carry and also that I am covered before leaving home. Payment at the airport may be too costly as well as unreasonable. It's like a penalty for having excess luggage. This is the reason I prefer flying with EMIRATES because they afford me to but pay fir excess luggage before my departure. Planning ahead is key"

Ulemper: "My seat was unable to recline. My husband and I were moved to a middle aisle (although we really didn't want to share) only to find that the foot rest at my foot rest was also faulty. It was an uncomfortable flight"
Fordeler: "The in-flight entertainment was good and the flight attendants were very nice. They offered us small sandwiches and drinks during the flight so it was comfortable to fly with them."
Ulemper: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."
Ulemper: "The gate from Boston to Cairo in Istanbul is too far away. My plane left Boston one hour late so I had only about 50 mn to run from gate 200 to gate 712. Also in Boston the called all the family with children from business AND from economy to board first the we the Business we started to boarded after which was one hour after boarding time. That was REDICULOUS. Turkish Airline team was so slow and unprofessional unlike the team in Istanbul. But on the plane the service and food was excellent. Mervat Ali"
Fordeler: "I liked the efficient way in which we were able to board. I thought all of the flight attendants were friendly and were eager to please any requests from the passengers. The plane was clean and comfortable . I thought the handling of food and drinks was very good. The food was good and there were ample servings for inflight food. I liked the wide selection of movies to watch and I liked the way that we could see our flight from a camera under the plane. That was a first for me and I thought it was interesting to view the monitor from time to time."

Check in working effective. Kind cabin personnel . Not too note storage place inside for carry on luggage .

Fordeler: "We were the only customers in business class, which was nice. Lots of attention from the crew, and food was good."
Ulemper: "Ummm, THAT was "business class"? Same seats as economy, with middle seat blocked off. Limited recline, no entertainment, no comfort seats. Nice meal, nice drinks, nice service...but I'm a little stunned that a European airline would call this kind of seating "business class". Only thing that separated it from economy class was a curtain, and middle seats blocked off."
Fordeler: "Great food. Nice staff."
Ulemper: "Make a rule that people cannot put their seats back. People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."
Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Fordeler: "The help of the checking agent after we found out they canceled my daughter and mine fly coming back home without any explanation or email."
Ulemper: "Perfect"
Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"
Fordeler: "Nice crew."
Ulemper: "Very cold. Always very cold in premium economy section on LH 747-8."
Fordeler: "Very impressed with the flight crew team!!!"
Fordeler: "Flight left and arrived on-time. Flight attendents were pleasant and helpful. Food portions and choices were good, and Lufthansa is always generous with drinks. Good value for money on Lufthansa."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, as clear instructions were not given about which group was boarding when and where to line up. Also Lufthansa did not do a good job managing carry-on bags, so that it took way too long to load people and many bags were left over once overhead bins were full. Seating area is cramped in economy."
Ulemper: "Missed my flight by 2 minutes and couldn’t find any representatives to help me determine my options. Was left to figure it out in my own."
Fordeler: "Friendly staff!!!"

Fordeler: "Everything was fine except for the comfort."
Ulemper: "The rows were so close together it was hard to get in and out of your row. If the seat in front of you reclined, the t.v. was 9 inches in front of your face."
Fordeler: "We were treated very well by all staff. Very nice crew"

Fordeler: "In the end I made the flight."
Ulemper: "Couldn’t add my baggage online thus resulting in a penalty for paying at the airport. Also ticket was booked by Kayak as a standby without alerting me."
Fordeler: "Boarding was late. Pilot said he would makeup the time, but he didn’t. Many passengers were late for their connecting flights.The Airbus was smooth and relatively quiet. Not much room for a 6 foot male. Crew was excellent. The food was just okay. Had to take a shuttle to and from the terminal in Frankfort, which added to the delays. Late boarding from Frankfurt to Stuttgart. Had to wait for the shuttle. Flight was fine."
Fordeler: "Lufthansa and SAS. A great combination."
Ulemper: "Nothing to not like."
Ulemper: "Waited an hour after boarding in the plane."
Ulemper: "First, Lufthansa lost our baggage from Hamburg to Los Angeles. Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."
Fordeler: "I love Lufthansa! Great service, comfortable, warm towels before meals served with real silverware. Amazing!"

Fordeler: "Right on time, smooth flight, crew at the gate and onboard were super. Food was fine and plane was clean."
Ulemper: "The only problem with comfort is when the person in Front of me reclined the seat. I could not see my screen well Or get in and out of my seat well and had to recline my own seat in order to do so."
Fordeler: "Very smooth flight, great service. Chose the first row in economy which had tons of legroom. Connected in Frankfurt, very easy connection."
Ulemper: "Passport control in Frankfurt doesn't open until 530a so we all had to wait in line. The TV monitor was not as sensitive and would fall easily downwards sometimes."
Fordeler: "The crew were friendly"

Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."
Fordeler: "Smooth ride. Almost made up some flight time......"
Ulemper: "No entertainment, Two hour delay......almost missed our connecting flight."

Ulemper: "Connection at Frankfurt bad. Had to be unloaded from plane and put on buses and dumped at terminal. Extra 25 minutes plus customs and ran to make connecting international flight. They have a HUGE opportunity for improvement in the way they move people in Airport."

Ulemper: "Boarding seamed inefficient. Loaded handicap onto separate vehicle in middle of us boarding, so it stopped our process. My seat didn't recline even though it had a button. No in flight entertainment?! At all... Got a crappy breakfast omelet that i didn't want to put in my stomach."
Fordeler: "Great crew. Leg room reminded me of old days flying comfort."
Ulemper: "Flight was continually delayed, 15 by 15 minutes until 4 hours had elapsed."
Fordeler: "Quick loading and departure."
Ulemper: "The gate changing 3 times."
Fordeler: "Service for economy class was what you would expect from other airlines in business class. Lufthansa has the best service of any airline I have ever flown with."
Ulemper: "Nothing."
Fordeler: "I love how Lufthansa has always been on time for me. That is why I fly with them when I can."
Fordeler: "Great crew service, comfortable, modern, captain kept us up to date and actually made up for the lost time on the delays to take off and got us nearly back on schedule."

Fordeler: "I liked the food and courteous staff. Our flight was on time in order to connect to our next flight. They assisted us to our waiting wee Lchairs."

Ulemper: "Boarding mix up, which was completely Lufthansa's responsibility, delayed my flight to Istanbul for one hour which caused my missing my connection with another airline. This in turn cost me the original flight and a new ticket purchase of at an exorbent price."

Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."

Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."

Fordeler: "Extremely roomy seats! So glad to have the room after a cramped flight from Europe!"
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."
