Most unreasonable, cheating me of my payment. I have since sought legal advice and contacted travel agent regarding, seems case law from several instances in my support. I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

No more slippers, eyes cover and no more other necessities for intercontinental flights ! What a shame for SQ to save the money on such important things for passengers. Staff was over indulging, someone would say - fake kindness shown ..."

And the most expensive aircompany should not be stingy and provide to passengers on intercontinental flights just toothbrush and socks in traveler pack !!! What a shame for SQ !"

When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Ulemper: "Didn't like the fact that I was never notified through email that the flight was from a different , newer airport in Islamabad. Originally my booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but on the day of flight when I went to that airport , it was totally closed for operations and flights. And I asked people in the street e.g taxi drivers etc which airport my flight could be from. They told me that a new airport in Islamabad had become operational and my flight could be from the newer airport. I went to the new airport but I was late for boarding because my time was wasted in going first to the Benazir International Airport and then rerouting to the new airport. Fortunately the fight from Islamabad to Qatar was delayed and I was able to make it to the boarding and flew from Islamabad to Doha."

Ulemper: "My flight got cancelled ten minutes before boarding. Workers gathered phone numbers and told us they would call to direct us a new flight. However, no calls were ever made. I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience."

Fordeler: "We enjoyed the comfort, food , staff and entertainment."
Ulemper: "The queuing for check-in, luggage control and plane boarding was much too long, 1 1/2 hrs +. The online check-in couldn't be used."

Ulemper: "They announced everything in English and Arabic and repeated the same announcement multiple times. The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Ulemper: "I planned a wonderful vacation for my birthday only to face a horrible experience. Not only was the flight uncomfortable, but my television did not work. There was a huge box underneath the seat in front of me which prevented me from stretching my legs outward. The television was on but the screen itself wasn't operating. I reached for the remote located in the armrest only to find the entire piece missing. Only the base was there. I asked the flight attendents three times if I can move to an empty seat and they said "give me a moment". The moment never came. I really expected more from this airline."

Extra leg room seats at extra cost are near toilets and watching the comings and goings from there is not pleasant. Staff ok but nothing special, left waiting with forms for lost luggage, little explanation. Plane decor looks tired, seats narrow. Luggage lost. Know why I like to fly Thai airways"

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "Waited at the wrong gate, missed the connecting flight and Had to spend $612.00 to get on another flight . What If I could not afford the ticket ?"

Fordeler: "Love the A380 - the sheer size of it allowed for more personal space. Consequently, it was a much more comfortable flight."

Not impressed that we received no email or contact to inform us of this beforehand . The service itself from qantas was not bad but again some sort of notice would have been nice ."

Ulemper: "My trip was business class from US to Dubai: The attendant woke me up for lunch time to tell me you have only one option as all other options are already taken! Wifi service was not working the whole flight duration because it was not even installed yet on the new aircraft."

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Fordeler: "On that route the plane can be quite empty on the Melbourne-Singapore leg, meaning lots of space to sleep in coach."
Ulemper: "Food served very fast (I barely had my first bite that they came with coffee and tea and never seen again). Quality of the food was ok."

Ulemper: "In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB."

Ulemper: "I have a trip from Manchester to Riyadh and I have a stop in Istanbul. Manchester plane was delayed one hour, no problem, but I arrived in Istanbul at the right time and the gate was open I gave them my ticket. They told me that the sestem moved your seat to the second plane but now the plane is open. ? I waited 6 hours at Ataturk airport and had a working meeting I could not attend"

Ulemper: "Boarding crew were rude and unhelpful. They didn't check IDs which became evident when a passenger complained his passport was missing and the plane had to return to the gate so he could go back into the airport to find his passport. Had it been checked before getting on the plane we could have spared everyone the hour delay. really this was is the worst service ever. Avoid."

Ulemper: "If they provided any food, I slept through it. But I think I would have woken up, do I don't think they did. It was an early morning flight and luckily I brought some breakfast, or I would not have eaten for several hours on my transfer flight to SFO."

Fordeler: "I have taken the same route earlier past year Atlanta-Istanbul-Sarajevo ,and return Overall best experience best comfort and definitely beat food"

Ulemper: "I was first seated next to the two largest people on the plane, a couple. There was hardly room for me in the seat. I had the aisle seat. I asked the flight attendant if I could be reseated and she said the plane was full and there were no open seats. She eventually found me a middle seat in the back of the plane, which was so cramped I could harpy move. For a 10 hours flight, not good. I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

Ulemper: "Plane was one of the old ones but I understand why it was used on small hauls, but it could definitely be upgraded to provide the top of the line service and luxury Turkish is known for and stands for."

Fordeler: "The crew and Rome team were great. Very accomadating"
Ulemper: "From Europe there are many parole headed to Asia who will overpack. I waited an extra 25 minutes in line behind a man who was over weight on luggage and refused to pay. The attendant did well but the security had to be called because of the situation. I would like to say this is unusual but I believe it is actually prett common."

Fordeler: "It was great to be fed, especially a full meal, on such a short flight."
Ulemper: "They ran out of homemade lemonade with fresh mint before I got any."

Fordeler: "So quick boarding"
Ulemper: "No entertainment due to "technical issues" Also old fashioned entertainment system with different channels older plane"

Ulemper: "boarding the treat you like animals"

Fordeler: "My JFK to IST flight on Oct 21st, the plane was nice and new. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment was up to date. The food on this particular flight was good."
Ulemper: "According to the Turkish Airlines site they offer free accommodations to passengers who have over 10 hr layover in Istanbul if you are an economy passenger. I was under this impression that I would fall under this category because when I initially booked the ticket (JFK - IST - LIS and return LIS - IST - JFK) my layover back to JFK was 18 hours. Two weeks prior to leaving for my trip I received a notification saying that the layover will be extended to 34 hours. Seeing that my layover was extended, I thought that Turkish Airline would offer me accommodation for both nights. When I arrived to IST (10:30pm local time) I went to the Turkish Airline transfer desk in which they said they would not allow me to have the 2 nights accommodation. After about an hour and half of discussion they could only offer me one night accommodation and changed my flight to an earlier flight. The attendant who was serving me told me to wait by the kiosk until my name was called. At the 30 minute mark I tried to ask another kiosk attendant to see what the status was and he replied back in a very rude manner saying he has no idea what I'm referring to and that essentially was not his problem. After another hour and half of waiting and seeing other frustrated passengers going to the transfer desk and not being helped, I went on the queue to see what the status of my ticket was. They finally gave me my ticket and at this point it was close to 1am. Thankfully I did research before hand and under the assumption that I was going to spend a day in Istanbul, spent $20 and got a Turkish visa prior to my travel, which according the the turkish consulate website that you can no longer get a visa while in the airport. I finally reached the airport hotel at 2:30am but the airport shuttle was to arrive in 4 hours to shuttle all the passengers back. So not only did I deal with a rude staff, but I paid $20 to be in Turkey for about 4 hours in an airport hotel."

Ulemper: "Terrible connections. Long delays. Truly awful"

Fordeler: "Ticket prices were reasonable, warm towel upon entry, food was edible, comfortable seats, they give you an eye mask, slippers socks, toothbrush and lip balm. Which we received on all flights except this one (all flights were international)."
Ulemper: "The flight attendants weren't personable on any of the flights. I'm 6 months pregnant and randomly get hungry. There are snacks like muffin available "anytime" On our long flight from Atlanta to Paris I pressed the button 3 times to see if I could get a muffin, but the attendant alert was turned off remotely and no one came to check on me. Thank God it wasn't some sort of emergency."

Ulemper: "got downgraded without any explanation on board. a technitian moved the curtain no explanation. called the purser and been told that its not the responsibility of the cabin crew!"

Fordeler: "Good Food, Comfortable Seats & Good Entertainment Options"
Ulemper: "N/A"

Ulemper: "No TV's, but ok it was a short flight."

Fordeler: "There were plenty of entertainment options."
Ulemper: "The flight was cramped with no room to get comfortable. The crew was concerened with it being an overnight flight and rushed through service so that the lights could be turned off on the cabin. They ran out of a food option and forced a selection on everyone in the back of the plane. The person sitting next to me even had a dietary restriction and her meal had been given to another passenger. The boarding process was a mess without clear directions from the staff, it was a giant mob trying to force its way onto a plane."

Fordeler: "I like Turkish Airlines. The flight was good. I thougt only food was somewhat not as good as usual. I flew with TA many times and the food offerings always had stood out from other air companies. In general it was great flight."

Fordeler: "everythings was fine almost"
Ulemper: "the service serving the food and beaverage, to slow and just once a while,"

Fordeler: "The service was good."
Ulemper: "Unfortunately, I was rerouted and flew from Istanbul to Dushanbe. (instead of to Khujand) This meant that I needed to take a taxi 6 hours through the mountains to get to Khujand. I hope the flights to Khujand resume again shortly."

Fordeler: "I was upgraded to business class for this leg of my total journey. It was incredibly comfortable experience. The recliner seats with the massage feature add immensely to the overall experience."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed by 2 hrs, no explanation given, the ground staff was no where to be found, finally one person showed up and he was not helpful. No formal announcement was made!"

Fordeler: "THENK YOU!"

Ulemper: "The seats on the second flight were smaller and we had no flight console (no movies, usb charge..)"

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Amman boarding was a mess"

Fordeler: "Excellent flight: unique entertainment, good food, nice attendants, only good surprises!"

Fordeler: "The entire experience was great, good meals, great entertainment system, wifi on board, great attention."
Ulemper: "The seats are not the most comfortable for such a long flight. My seat would not recline which made the super long flight feel even longer."

Fordeler: "All"

Fordeler: "everything. it's really a good option!"
Ulemper: "nothing really"

"Seems strange when there are so few flights because of corona that everyone is stuffed into a bus to drive out to the plane for boarding instead of using the airbridge. Not sure what the reason for that was. No problem with using the airbridge on arrival. The flight itself was otherwise fine."

Ulemper: "Original flight cancelled so rebooked ojba floght five hours later - then with one hour to go until that second flight, that was cancelled as well. Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Fordeler: "The crew was helpful with tips for Vienna"

Fordeler: "Boarding was great. As it was a short there was no entertainment. I would have chosen N/A bit that wasn’t an option hence the one star."
Ulemper: "I wish there was an option of a sandwich vice sweet or pretzels."

Ulemper: "I missed my flight because of the delay in Zurich"

Fordeler: "This is always a pleasant airline to travel with."
Ulemper: "I felt like the airlines deliberately cheated me. I purchased a flight that was listed as "economy" , which means I am authorized one suitcase. When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Ulemper: "We are late only 25 min (50% of flight - 50 min)"

Fordeler: "food was great. Slightly cold in cabin."
Ulemper: "had a narrow connecting flight VIE to MUC, VIE flight was delayed and had to catch MUC to IAD flight in less than 15 min. One luggage was missing at baggage claim, but as DC/ Baltimore is home, luggage arrived in 48 hrs. All is well that ends well."

Fordeler: "it was mess, so I cant say positive thing"
Ulemper: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Fordeler: "Nice clean Airplane, good choice of entertainment. Food OK (except breakfast) but not great (coach class) Crew friendly, on time."
Ulemper: "The muffin for breakfast as the only choice at the end of the flight is a joke: superloaded with sugar, chewy, artificiall taste. Most of the passengers sent it back. This has not improved since my last flight with Austrian in March 2018. The one reponsible for ordering such junk should be punished by having to eat the muffin himself. Sorry!"

Fordeler: "Excellent flight Excellent food"

Fordeler: "On time and amazing flight crew! SO attentive and personal...seemed to really enjoy their job."
Ulemper: "Nothing"

Fordeler: "the flight missed my connection and they were AWESOME in handling it, getting me on a Swiss Air flight. That flight also missed its connection and Swiss Air took great care to put me up in a hotel. They made a frustrating situation so much smoother!"

Ulemper: "We ended up needing to check a bag. It cost 40 Euros which seemed high. We were sent to another line to pay then back to check in. Then our flight was 45 minutes delayed leaving. Fortunately the pilot got us in to Zurich only 20 Mon late. Just typical "never know what's gonna happen"."

Ulemper: "the entertainment was broken, they didn't offer WIFI. the crew was very rude and crabby."

Fordeler: "The check in crew were great. They checked my overweight carry on with no problem for free Free alcohol"
Ulemper: "The food was not edible"

Ulemper: "The fact that the luggage wasn’t included in the Austrian flight, nor anywhere was pointed out to that so I had to pay extra for it."

Ulemper: "Changing planes on Vienna was not easy so 1-hour layover was barely enough (required running)"

Fordeler: "The cabin temperature was ok"
Ulemper: "Check-in lady rude. Bag of salt crackers on plane. Flight crew not helpful."

Fordeler: "Nothing stood out compared to other airlines"

Fordeler: "Organized orderly boarding. Food was snack only. Flight crew was pleasant and helpful."

Fordeler: "The air crew service"
Ulemper: "1. No option to pay for a second luggage; the company website very unclear about the luggage policy; no contact information as well as no web payment service; days before my flight, spent a lot of time and efforts to know that I could pay for a second luggage at the airport on my departure; 2. Paid $120 or so for the second luggage!!!??? After decades flying Austrian I will try switching to your competitors."

Fordeler: "If you have to fly coach, this was the way to go. The star were lovely, plane clean, food was good. Very nice flight from LAX to Vienna."

Fordeler: "The rep was able to get me on Air France instead."
Ulemper: "This flight switch added a layover and 8 hrs to my journey home. Not to mention I was in a middle seat on the. 11 hr leg when I had originally booked a window seat."

Ulemper: "."

Fordeler: "The crew was very very nice and flight was very quick."
Ulemper: "No entertainment at all, music nor tv :/"

Fordeler: "My flight from Vienna to Warsaw was fine."

Ulemper: "When I was boarding all representatives was very unfriendly and I would say they were rude."

Fordeler: "Ok flight' late leaving from Vienna because pulling luggage when passengers missing,."

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed"

Fordeler: "I like that flight boarding was quick and in time.it was a short flight My name is Hispary."

Fordeler: "Everything was great! The staff was friendly and really tried to make our experience the best it can be!"
Ulemper: "The only thing I didn't like was that in one of the bathrooms, the sink was clogged up a little bit."

Fordeler: "Catering and service was superb. While linen. Course by course on China, no tray service. The food was exquisite. The wine was acceptable, mid range, with very generous pours in Riedel glassware and always the offer made of would I like anything more? The seperate coffee menu has to be experienced to be believed, basically, it's an authentic Vienna see cafe experience at 30,000 ft."
Ulemper: "Entertainment selection was fiddly and the offerings meagre compared to the vast libraries found on other carriers, but it was sufficient. More a quibble than a gripe from me. The noise cancelling headsets were good quality noise cancelling, and comfortable. I can't wear some other airlines headsets at all and use my ear pods with an airline adapter jack."

Ulemper: "Austrian Air has really slipped in its food-product.. Lufthansa put out snacks (cookies etc; even small sandwiches to 'help yourself from' going from Atlanta to Frankfort which was nice). But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."

Fordeler: "please see comments above for my previous flight excellent experience!!! I used to fly with KLM but with definitely check Austrian Airlines first for my flight needs from now on."

Fordeler: "Flight services were good. Staff friendly. food was good"
Ulemper: "Maybe I was upset due to the issues at the first leg so could not enjoy this one"

Fordeler: "Alt gikk smertefritt og maten var veldig god! Ble møtt med meget god service."
