Next problem was their REFUSAL to give me an aisle seat. I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

Ulemper: "When dropping my bag at check in counter, the employee at the counter asked, somewhat intrusively, what the extra fee I paid was for. When I told her it was for the Al Mourjan lounge in Doha, her facial response and attitude came across as judgemental, and was not appropriate"
Fordeler: "Individual service, happy and natural looking crew, comfort and company aim."
Fordeler: "The flight attendants were very friendly. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"

Fordeler: "Overall, an excellent short flight. I was flying with oversize luggage (bicycle), which is offer a hassle. The ticket agent took care of it without issue, and it arrived safely. Food was OK. I would try Qatar for a long flight if the opportunity arises."

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Fordeler: "Excellent service with very friendly staff. Everything ran so smoothly. For such a large aircraft I expected to have to queue up for boarding and exiting. No queuing, everything was so coordinated."

Ulemper: "Didn't have a good experience in Kenya, not with flight but at the airport. Went through hell. They need to improve on their customer service. I am quite sure I am entitled to bring whatever I want as long as it's legal . But there's lots of corruption and they will mess up your reputation. But at the end of the day they want me to bribe them. I was Really upset."

Ulemper: "Crew was not really engaging with a smile. Seemed like they were avoiding longer conversation or even eye contact."
Fordeler: "The staff is super friendly and professional."
Ulemper: "I paid for an assigned window seat (18K) at the front of the plane. However when I arrived to my seat I was told that there is a handicap person in my room and I can't sit there and was offered a seat in the back of the plane. Yes of course I understand and wouldn't want to move a handicap person to get to my seat but at the same time I believe the seat assignment fee which I paid in advance should be refunded."
Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Ulemper: "During waiting the staff didn't serve anything! No tea, coffee or juice!"
Fordeler: "Everyone was very plesant. The flight dinner was tasty."

Fordeler: "The overall service was excellent as the flight left on time and the flight attendants were attentive. The food onboard was perhaps the best quality I have ever had on a flight."

Ulemper: "The problem which happens when the person in front of you leans back his/her seat. It makes watching something on the entertainment system very difficult!"
Fordeler: "A selection of recent find on the in flight entertainment, relatively comfortable seats, and generally good care whilst in board."
Ulemper: "I don't understand why cheese and crackers or orange juice are removed from the lacto-ovo vegetarian meals. Sometimes it seemed i was getting half a meal compared to my mom-vegetarian girlfriend's meals."
Fordeler: "First class on Emirates is a perfect flying experience!"
Fordeler: "Very good services by Emirates, flight was on time, leg room between seats was sufficient, meals were good and staff behavior was good"
Fordeler: "They randomly upgraded to business and it was by far the best long courier flight I've been on."

Ulemper: "The food choices were not good. The tray included more carbs than any thing else...a roll, crackers and breadsticks. A lighter choice of a sandwich or a cheese tray would have been nice. Rather than small cups of water on a 14 hour flight, it would have been nice to have bottles of water."
Fordeler: "From the top to the bottom, everything was excellent except for..."
Ulemper: "...the boarding, which was somewhat chaotic. An announcement was repeatedly made that the final boarding call for the flight had been issued, and suddenly the entire assembly of passengers waiting before the gate stood up en masse and moved toward the gate, where we ended up standing for twenty or so minutes while the passengers were boarded in sequence according to seat assignment. I'm certain that Emirates has a protocol for gate announcements, but one of their employees certainly didn't know what it was."
Fordeler: "Everything was great. I didn't want to get off the plane."
Ulemper: "I didn't appreciate the service on board. It was slow and not as professional as usual. The crew seemed too young to know better. They only served water once which isthe #1 thing you should keep offering on a long flight like mine. I also didn't appreciate overhearing staff gossiping about other passengers."
Fordeler: "Entertainment was very good. Enough variety to pass the time."
Ulemper: "The aisles were blocked a lot of the time making it hard to get to the toilets."
Fordeler: "The upgraded me to Business Class, an unique experience."

Ulemper: "Worst ever airline in the world charged me for Cary on bag $430 for weight 8.7kg from Oslo Norway to adiss ababa Ethiopia I recommend no one has to fly with Turkish airline poor customer service"

Ulemper: "Heathrow T2 Business class checkin wasn’t clearly signed from entrance. If someone was next to me I would not have enjoyed not having aisle access. Water should be served more regularly without having to ask."

Fordeler: "The friendly crew provided slippers, sleep mask, mini tooth brushes & paste, socks & lip balm for each passenger which was very nice. The food was really decent for airplane food & they provided free alcohol beer or wine with both of the 2 meals. Each seat had a usb spot to charge your phone & a nice screen for watching movies & tv shows. Wish there were more movie & tv show options, only suggestion."
Fordeler: "The Lounge at Istanbul airport is fantastic"
Ulemper: "Seating in Economy class is terrible. For tall persons like me it is a punshment to be squeazed in such a narrow space. Turkish airlines should add more space and comfort with their seating in Economy. Introduce a Premium Economy Class would solve that problem"

Ulemper: "this is what you will not like, Time and Timing, no limits and no frames, they can change everything in your flight, change date of arrival,, change Sit number which you already know that is yours, and so on and so on, not enough ???"
Fordeler: "Nothing jumped off the tracks. Every trip went exactly planned."

Ulemper: "The fact that I missed my connection flight in Thailand because of a two hour delay. I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"
Fordeler: "Great crew. Super nice to our 4 year old daughter. They were quick, extra polite and efficient. I'm usually quite picky but this leg was perfect."

Ulemper: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."

Fordeler: "Better food and service than other airlines on which I've traveled recently. Loading passengers was disciplined and speedy. Staff very helpful. Istanbul airport is great for a long wait. If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."

Ulemper: "Itinerary on the way to Amsterdam was not correct and made me miss my first connection No option to pick vegetarian food ."
Fordeler: "The whole experience was great. After an excellent meal which included drinks before and an excellent wine selection the flt attendants came through and made up a bed for you. This included a cover for the seat, a blanket and a big pillow. As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."

Ulemper: "I know seats in the 777-300 recline but do not disrupt the next row's space. That was not the case on the Airbus A330-300. It would be nice if the same seats were on the Airbus aircraft I flew from Istanbul to Bangkok."
Ulemper: "My seat was terribly uncomfortable. The airplane temprature was really low that it made me so sick. I had a missing luggage where i did not hear any updates from Turkish Airlines for 5 days. I ALWAYS fly Turkish Airline internationally when going to Turkey. But after my last experience, i am not so sure"

Ulemper: "Make a rule that people cannot put their seats back. People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."
Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Fordeler: "I didn’t enjoy this flight as everything seemed very unwelcoming here"
Ulemper: "Take care of passengers for drinks and others. Treat passengers with other languages nicely rather than in condescending way. I saw air hostess laughing among themselves and being little short with passengers who couldn’t communicate. The boarding process was very chaotic with no groups."

Ulemper: "Boarding totally chaotic, someone was in my assigned seat, plane was very late, food was crappy, no legroom , seat and armrests uncomfortable , constant screaming babies, smelly passengers, music only came out of one speaker, music kept jumping from one song to another and then back !"

Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

Ulemper: "The rows were so close together it was hard to get in and out of your row. If the seat in front of you reclined, the t.v. was 9 inches in front of your face."

Ulemper: "Boarding delayed, awkward & slow. Employees rude and bossy. Crew on board not pleasant or helpful. Food disgusting. Noticed same dramatic difference in passenger treatment between SFO and Frankfurt legs of the flight. They treat the mostly Indian customers differently. I go to India every year. It was same last year. My suitcase broken in transit. Reported. No call back after several days. I’m US citizen of German ancestry. I feel badly about lack of service for India bound passengers."

Ulemper: "Just talked to my parents who were traveling and they had no help at FRA. It was very disappointing and something they said they do not want to go thru ever again."
Fordeler: "Good crew, liked the food and service. Better aircraft interior."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, lines weren't well controlled. Ground crew needs better training in being proactive, assertive, communicate better with tired passengers who have had to wait for 5hours in the very staid, and outdated Frankfort airport. Same problems with the headsets."
Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."

Ulemper: "No entertainment, Two hour delay......almost missed our connecting flight."
Ulemper: "Very cramped legroom. Confusion during boarding."

Fordeler: "Service for economy class was what you would expect from other airlines in business class. Lufthansa has the best service of any airline I have ever flown with."
Fordeler: "Crew from Washington D.C. (IAD) to Frankfurt was outstanding-- very warm and thoughtful."
Ulemper: "Crew from Frankfurt to New Delhi was not as warm, attentive, and polite."
Fordeler: "I liked the food and courteous staff. Our flight was on time in order to connect to our next flight. They assisted us to our waiting wee Lchairs."

Ulemper: "Cabin Crew does not pay much attention to customer need even in business class. They need to learn lot from KLM."

Ulemper: "The special meal I got was not the same as I ordered."
Fordeler: "This leg of light was good. Service on board was very good."

Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."
Ulemper: "Also, just one meal and no snacks served on a 7 hour plus flight"
Fordeler: "Fast check in and boarding. Courteous service."
Ulemper: "I did not get te entree of my choice on one of the flights."
Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."
Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordeler: "Lufthansa is one of few airlines in Europe with pure class and excellent service. Even in economy!"
Fordeler: "Enough room for short flight, flight staff was fabulous. No recommendations or complaints."

Ulemper: "Lufthansa treated us very poorly. When we arrived late in FRA, the gate attendant was extremely rude while trying to rebook and actually left us in the middle of rebooking because her shift ended. No one came to take her place!! She actually swore at us!! We were only able to rebook by calling the Lufthansa call centre and had to spend a very uncomfortable overnight at the airport without any certainty of when we would fly out. Lufthansa finally got us out on the same flight as booked but 24 hours later. And then, of course, they lost our luggage. Terrible overall experience."

Ulemper: "Nothing dissatisfying about the flight nor the airline staff . Very polite, very professional. It was a Great flight. For long trips this airline is one of the best."
Ulemper: "Transavia does not serve anything complementary, not even water. A flight between two countries that is five hours long must be better than this. I was not aware of Transavia doing that before I booked. I will never fly with them again"

Ulemper: "The website I booked on and the Delta phone line on the printed ticket said that I had baggage when it turns out that I did not according to the check in staff and they made me pay."

Ulemper: "One of our entertainment consuls had to be rebooted 4 times and still didn’t work. We gave up asking."

Ulemper: "I’ve traveled a lot internationally and this was the WORST flight I’ve ever had to endure. I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

Ulemper: "A comfort of the seats... well its economy class in the end. Entertainment was just dreadful - small screen with visible pixels - I was unable to watch any movie."

Ulemper: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."
Fordeler: "Nice crew; clean plane; decent dinner"

Ulemper: "Food and one bathroom out of service makes an awful flight"
Fordeler: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Ulemper: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."
Fordeler: "Cabin crew were very professional."
Ulemper: "Aircraft returned to gate due to fault and was delayed for 45 min."
Ulemper: "Headset jack only worked if the headset plug was in EXACTLY the right spot."
Ulemper: "At some point the luggage was lost. here."
Fordeler: "Got to Amsterdam on time and everything was great including the staff"
Fordeler: "Flight was on time and quick and comfortable"
Fordeler: "Flight was delayed for three hours and was a very stressful flight"
Ulemper: "Flight was not on time and got to destination very very late pier management of aircrafts"
Fordeler: "The crew were pleasant"

Ulemper: "Crew is awful. Disrespectful desinterested in customers find themselves very important. No service mentality whatsoever. No respectful airline would hire such arrogant self centered personalities in a service role"
Fordeler: "The cabin crew, the flight and communication and the cleanliness of the plane."
Ulemper: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."
Ulemper: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
Fordeler: "quick boarding, responsive Airline stewardess, very polite."
Ulemper: "temperature control was not good, service was fine, seats were not comfortable. plane need to be cleaner."
Fordeler: "Speed, crew, and reliablity."
Ulemper: "Food wasn't good, no entertainment or accessory plug ins, and seats were worn out! Not comfortable at all. Great leg room though."
Fordeler: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

Fordeler: "Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."
Ulemper: "The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish"
Fordeler: "I ended up getting home with less delay than originally predicted. I guess that's a good thing Also delta customer service was super polite and trying to help when I called"
Ulemper: "Delay again... seems to be pretty frequent on KLM flights at least on the ones I flew with in the past 4 years... this time it was 3hours wait due to a technical issue... no alternative flight option and we ended up getting a very old plane as a replacement. In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."
Fordeler: "We really liked the KLM people, from the check in crew to the flight attendants."
Fordeler: "Alt gikk greit så totalt sett fornøyd, dro før tiden og landet før så da fikk vi bedre tid i Amsterdam før neste avgang. Hyggelig besetning."
Ulemper: "Helt grei mat men ikke noe mer enn det."
Fordeler: "Boarding was smooth and hassle free, crew were friendly and helpful, food and drinks were very good, entertainment system is awesome and up to date with latest contents, good flight overall"
