It was not Lufthansa. It was a cramped United flight. We have health problems and had to pay $472 extra just to get a better seat. The temperature in the plane was freezing. Plus our luggage was not put on the plane and 12 days later, we still don’t have it.
Check in working effective. Kind cabin personnel . Not too note storage place inside for carry on luggage .
Lufthansa is a great choice! Would fly with them again.

Ulemper: "Communication on which luggage carousel our luggage was going to be on. The screen said, carousel 11 when in actuality, it was carousel 10. Very confusing...and caused me a delay. That’s the only frustration in the entire trip so far."

Fordeler: "1st Class is a joke. They leave the middle coach seat vacant. You do have more overhead storage since there are fewer people in "1st Class". Otherwise you may as well be in coach. For flights within Europe this appears to be the standard. Save you money fly coach when traveling within Europe."

Ulemper: "The Frankfort airport is a nightmare. They have loooooooong gateways, so when I Finally got through security FOR THE THIRD TIME, it’s a 10 minute, speed-walk to the gate. Again, a flight delay was the only thing that made the connection possible. I made it to the gate with 3 minutes to spare, so no time for the bathroom, no time to get lunch or even a bottle of water, no time period. And at the end of it all, my bag is lost."

Ulemper: "Not only was the flight delayed, but there was confusion at the gate for boarding of even first or business class. We had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs to get on a bus, which then transported us a very long ways away on the tarmac. Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."
Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Ulemper: "The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming.."

Ulemper: "Business class was pretty empty but again I was not allowed to change my seat selection online. Pathetic check-in."

Ulemper: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Ulemper: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"

The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."
Ulemper: "The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish"
Fordeler: "Very friendly and the food and drinks never stopped and no additional charges, a very nice experience over the bargain airlines, free in-flight movies, and entertainment, no cost."

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

Fordeler: "Entertainment great, plane clean and newish. Breakfast way better than most competitors on transatlantic. Fruit salad, hot good sized rolls, yogurt, thick slices of ham n cheese so much better than BA’s downsized granola bar and mini muffin ( that they also serve in the upgraded class!"
Ulemper: "You really need to either have no legs or be 5’6” or less to fit in the seat without angling sideways. But alas SAS is no worse than the competitors in this department. Crew served meal 2.5 hours into 9 hour flight and about an hour after complimentary drink. My can of Coke was well gone when the mediocre dinner arrived and I got an earful for daring to ask for another one. It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing."

In addition, delayed due to short handed baggage loading crew. Flight was one hour late departing. Luggage did not make connecting flight to London. No wifi either."

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

Ulemper: "Two toilets for 100+ people meant long queues for the bathroom throughout the flights. The toilets were not even once cleaned in a flight of 4 Hours, meaning that by the final hour, they were a complete utter disaster in terms of hygiene. Pilot made a complete mess of descending and landing."
Fordeler: "A350, smooth and quiet. Nice plane"
Ulemper: "Seats in business are a little crowded and close together. opening to get in and out of seat is minimal"
Fordeler: "One crew member servicing first class was in a mood “not to be here” - it is sad because of first class experience is higher than usual! It was just bad!"
Ulemper: "I honestly don’t have an answer for this, I guess these kind of crew should not on board especially in first class!"
Fordeler: "Lovely crew, very good entertainment system."

Ulemper: "Late inbound flight made our flight delayed. No info at gate, until a few minutes before boarding. Small, crammed seats. Very worn seatbelts gives a less than favorable impression."

Ulemper: "The fisical conditions are terrible. Seats so narrow and rows are so close, that you practically pooched into your neighbors, those that behind don't let you to recline your seat as then your seat is in their face. It looks like American Airlines hopes to exchange your reality with virtuality, but our bodies that we are for some reason taking with us on that itinerary - suffer."
Ulemper: "Finnair had the worst leg room I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"
Fordeler: "The flight did eventually take off, unlike a few others leaving around the same time."
Ulemper: "We were delayed several hours and were never told why. Mostly there were no Aeroflot staff at the gate to ask. When there was, they said they couldn't help us because our flight was a codeshare with FinnAir. At the last minute they switched gates, sending us all scurrying."
Fordeler: "It was a pleasant enough trip. Friendly crew, surprisingly decent food for a flight, and some decent entertainment available, though admittedly my headphones broke within a couple of hours for some reason, but by then I was nearly asleep anyway."
Ulemper: "It wasn't very comfortable and I had basically no leg room, but then, I sat in economy, so I can't be too surprised by that. Otherwise it was a good flight."
Fordeler: "Crew were great / free wine !"
Ulemper: "Crowded and chaotic boarding"
Fordeler: "No food or entertainment"
Fordeler: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Ulemper: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."
Fordeler: "Fantastic service staff food and beverages"
Ulemper: "Just slightly hard when laying down on the seat to sleep"
Ulemper: "Flight attendants in majority were rude, didn't care, unhelpful, for business class, service was worst I ever experienced. Plane is old, pretty dirty, they don't care about elders at all, this flight really ruined my whole travel experience, I doubt I'd ever want to go back."

Fordeler: "Took over an hour to check in. There were at least 300 people in line with one person checking economy in."
Fordeler: "The Finnair representatives at the airport were incredibly nice and helpful."
Ulemper: "I never made it on the flight because I booked through airfare.com which gives no warning or notices that passports need to be valid for three months after a flight to France. I ended up spending hours on the phone with them constantly being yelled at by their customer service reps."
Ulemper: "I have traveled all over the world and never had an issue with luggage but finnair lost my bags and have little information on how to help other than a $70 credit which doesn't cover anything."
Ulemper: "We paid for economy comfort and signed up for the 2x2 seats. Instead we received the 2 seats in the middle of 4. we were more than upset, there is no way we would every request the 2 worst seats in that area and given my husband is 6'6' Did not make for a happy experience."
Ulemper: "Huge lines at the airport for check in and drop off of lugagges. Apparently finnair hasn't heard yet of automatic check in and drop off. After that long wait for boarding and flight delayed. Very little information."

Ulemper: "Unfortunately the flight was done by HiFly , not Finnair. Boarding took almost two hours, the whole flight crew behaved is if they were doing everybody a favor by being there. Entertainment options included like 6 movies and 2 tv shows, only 2 movies were more or less new, not much for a 10.30 hour flight. We really enjoyed our experience on the outbound flight with Finnair and were looking forward to this flight also, but Finnair didn't service this flight."
Fordeler: "Schedule is on time."
Ulemper: "Food was not much excting and seat distance was rather short, making uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "No room on flight ran out of wine and food before getting to the back 1/3 of plane where I was sitting I can say one of the worst travel flights I've ever had"
Ulemper: "It was n't their fault but My wife's passport expired in 91 days from beginning travel so they wouldn't let us on the plane to Italy."
Fordeler: "There was a flight attendant who was perfect for his career-absolutely the best ever on the Rome to Philadelphia flight-a tall, African American gentleman. So accommodating and friendly!"
Fordeler: "The flight was great...the staff are wonderful people...they are so sweet and kind...they work so hard...the service was great...I love their personalities..The Movie selection was awesome...Because of my broken leg, they were there to help me right away...amazing crew...will be flying with them again in October....looking forward to flying with British Airways again... Ulemper: "Planes are old, small tv screens in aisles, older seats and headrests. I had requested Gluten Free meals and on the way to Amsterdam they did okay (besides the snacks). On the way back they didn't even offer me the second meal GF, I had to ask another flight attendant who went looking for it and found one.. so it was there, they just hadn't bothered to look for it. I also never understand why you wouldn't start boarding with the last rows? Is that just me? The aisles are always so crowded when the last rows walk in and there's always a line."
Ulemper: "Seats given away that we selected six months ago even though we checked in days early. Four family members all over plane."
Fordeler: "9 month old A380 with dedicated flight crew - everything on time - what more is there to ask for?"
Ulemper: "Airplane meals tend to be carb-heavy and the food service was no exception. Always a roll or bread but this is normal."
Fordeler: "Friendly crew. Finnair subcontract to British Airways so this was a BA flight at a better price. Flight was far from full enabling me to stretch out."
Ulemper: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."
Ulemper: "For an international flight I have never seen such small seats, the entertainment was awful. My tv was in black and white. I didn't even want to try the food as looked bad."
Fordeler: "Decent food."
Ulemper: "$100 for your second checked bag and then another $100 if it's overweight. I think this was criminal for an international flight, and I will not fly Finn Air again because of this. Also you have to pay 25 Euro for your seat after already booking the flight. Additionally the leg room is average at best."
Ulemper: "First of all, though this was booked as a Finnair flight, Finnair was never part of the process after the booking. We rec'd an email from Kayak saying we could check in 36 hrs early - not so. Even at the 24 hr mark, we were unable to check in via Finnair - had to go to British Airways. Finnair was not represented at either airport - British Airways. On the return, British Airways canceled our flight (2 hrs before takeoff), and we could not get a non-stop flight home. This meant that we had to change terminals, retrieve our bags at the layover, recheck, etc. which of course, added 3 hrs to the original length of the trip. Where's our compensation? We paid for a round trip non-stop flight."

Fordeler: "The crew was friendly and very accommodating. Inflight entertainment had many choices, had a wonderful relaxing time. The food was not too good but then again it's airplane food. Overall, recommend the experience."
Ulemper: "The headphone socket didn't work, the screen was tiny, the food was bordering on the inedible, the seating was cramped and uncomfortable, the air was dirty and unhealthy."
Business class was regular seat with nobody sitting next to you. Wouldn’t book business for such a flight. No entertainment.
Fordeler: "Absolutely nothing. Everything was piss poor."
Ulemper: "Everything. First I wish my flight wasn’t canceled a d then received notice on the same day"
Fordeler: "The crew wasn’t very friendly and there’s very little legroom."
Fordeler: "It was just a flight. Nothing to rave about. Just a typical up and over flight. The flight left Athens over an hour late and got to Brussels almost 90mins late."
Ulemper: "We weren't offered complimentary beverage service. They did a beverage service for paid drinks and that took well over an hour. We were only given a simple single piece of chocolate while waiting to take off"
Ulemper: "The Florence Airport has difficulty with baggage. Had to wait for over an hour."

Ulemper: "Slow Boarding from Paris. Poor, but very poor entertainment system"

Ulemper: "The seats were super cramped, hardly any leg room or elbow room which made it quite difficult to get comfortable for any length of time. The food was unpleasant. The flight attendants seemed very green."

Ulemper: "The boarding system blocked all twenty U.S. passport holders from boarding the plane. I argued with the gate agent who was defiantly stupid. Never again for this airline for any of us."

Ulemper: "Despite the fact that I reserved a window seat, I was assigned a seat in the middle of the center row. They also 'sanitized' the airplane twice after that closed the doors before take off. They walked up and down the aisle with aerosol spray cans. I don't think people should be subject to unknown chemicals in order for the airline to save time on cleaning the cabin before take off."
Ulemper: "Not enough space for my legs"
Ulemper: "As everyone seems to already know, the food and drink is really not very good at all and they didn't provide enough, especially considering that I was delayed by two hours in total in this trip."
Fordeler: "It actually tasted great!"

Ulemper: "Boarding was unorganized. Halfway through the flight, the cabin smells like sweat everywhere."
Ulemper: "Plane was malfunctioning- the electric went out several times ont be way to take off and right after landing. Food and drinks only for sale. Boarding late"
Ulemper: "Delayed and JFK wasn't ready for us. So more delay"
Fordeler: "Boarding was fast, we arrived early."
Ulemper: "The plane was super hot, the crew never offered drinks or food to me"
Ulemper: "Over 2 hour delay"
Ulemper: "The flight left 30 minutes after it was scheduled to leave. In addition, when we landed, they weren't prepared for us. We had to wait for the stairs and shuttle to arrive to get us to the airport terminal. It was especially frustrating because we had nearly no time to get to our connecting flight. The hosts and hostesses were mediocre at best."
Ulemper: "1. During check in, they change my seat number that i choose during the reservation process from a front window seat to a rear isle seat 2. Flight was supposed to land in Hamburg. Because of a storm, they went to Hannover. They announced that the time we will stay in Hannover is unknown. Maybe 2 hours... but then no news from the crew during our stop. 3. Several passeNgers asked to get out in Hannover. The crew said they will ask if possible. After one hour waiting in Hannover they did not even ask the airport authorities. Passengers insisted. The crew then said no because they do not want to go through the luggage finding process. 4. Weather was too hot. Waiting time was too long. Passengers Needed drinks and food. Crew only sold these without even offering free snacks, sandwitches, or drinks. 5. Babies and kids were there. No food nor drinks. They survived during 5 extra hours on the plane schedule on biscuits and water. Personnel did not even think of ordering food from hannover airport while waiting there. They only SOLD the snacks they have. 6. We returned to humburg with 5 hours delay over our original schedule. Stayed 2 hours until we got our luggages on the belt 7. Some passengers had to go back to hannover by train. We discover that all trains were stopped die to problems caused by the storm on the railway. They had the choice either to take very expensive taxis or to sleep over in Hamburg!! 8. This could have been avoided if brussel airline had some good will to at least help those passengers get their luggage and leave in Hannover! 9. Overall: very bad experience and crue attitude in Brussel Airlines!"

Fordeler: "Crew was vey professional. Arrival in Rome was to a gate rather than a bus, which was unusual but nice. Baggage delivery was also surprisingly quick for Rome. The Brussels Airlines lounge in Brussels airport is fantastic!"
Ulemper: "The flight departure was delayed 1 1/2 hours, meaning we arrived in Rome at nearly midnight. No complimentary drinks on board. As a Star Alliance Gold member, I chose Brussels Airlines out of loyalty. But the cheap approach to customer care means I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."
Fordeler: "The extra leg room was very much worth it! Did the trip both ways. On the way to Europe we went standard economy and economy plus on the way home -- economy plus was much more comfortable over the long duration of the flight"
Ulemper: "The food remains mediocre at best in the economy cabin."

Ulemper: "Flight from Brussels to Kinshasa was different. It seems for the people of color, there was an old plane. My seat mate TV sCreek did not work. You could tell moldings on seat were very old. one bathroom had no soap, dispenser was broken. I hope this is not your pratice to use your older planes for those traveling to Africa. I will observe this as I travel back to Brussel and on to US."
Ulemper: "Could not get my boarding pass before reaching my last terminal because it was not ready from Montreal or Toronto, and no staff were available elsewhere in the airport. this prevented me from making necessary purchases to bring with me to Kinshasa, my final destination."
