Ulemper: "Before my flight I choosed my seat online and it was aisle seat. But when I checked in at airport they changed my seat to middle seat. I am not sure why there is a option to choose my seat if they are not going to honor it. Also seats were very little and there is not much room. I am only 5.4 and 140 pound. So not sure how big people can handle seating there for 10 hours."

Ulemper: "The counter could not find my reservation a d they said because i booked online i had to go to another counter and then back to check in. It was pretty stressful"

Fordeler: "The seats are not as luxurious as the international. They do not recline that much and are not pods. No surprise as that is similar to the US. But it was only a 3 hour flight so was fine. Food was same as first trip, solid.. Staff was very friendly."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2.5 hours. They did not communicate at all the reason. Takeoff was supposed to be 8.30pm, didn’t take off until 11pm. Sat on the tarmac for over an hour and the crew or pilot did not say a word. The beverage service again was lacking compared to other international business class flights I’ve taken."

Fordeler: "Seat space continued to be better than BA. Nice surprise to get an evening meal on the last leg to Rome. I actually was able to sleep a bit on this smaller airplane as well. Crew went out of its way to help people board and load bags overhead. They seemed very attentive, and tried to provide extra drink options even."
Ulemper: "Boarding process at IST was a challenge. We left from a remote gate, and the agent didn't seem interested in the boarding process. I heard no announcements, maybe because it didn't matter as everyone was crowding the door 15 minutes before boarding began. The agent seemed perturbed, but I've seen it on almost every Italian bound flight. No one wants to wait. It is actually a bit amusing to watch the struggle between boarding policies and a group of people who seem determined to ignore them. The buses were also pretty well packed. More so in Rome than IST. Not much organization in loading at either place. After all the passport control they left us to walk outside to wait for the bus. Maybe you can tell I'm not a fan of remote gates."

Fordeler: "Staff at Istanbul Airport kindly re-opened the gate for late passengers due to unexpected delays of preceding Turkish Airlines flights. Otherwise, I must have missed the flight from Istanbul to Rome."

How does an airline give a bag tag to a passenger without putting it in the bag???? 12 days and no bags.... terrible call center service too no help at all."

Fordeler: "Like my trip to Istanbul, I had no complaints. It was easy to make my transition to this flight and boarding was fine and once again the crew were friendly and welcoming. The short 2 1/2 hour flight went well."

Fordeler: "Flights were on time; Crew was pleasant - asked for water and was provided in a minutes; Pilots were great, they have landed smoothly"

Ulemper: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Fordeler: "From extra free bag, to all the little things they give you to make you feel much more comfortable, to the scrumptious meals and constant attendants attentiveness to passengers needs. Loved everything!!! Especially the way we can follow our route on the screens."

Ulemper: "The plane was blazing hot. The in flight entertainment system was down for half the flight."

Ulemper: "We boarded on time but the flight didn't leave for another 45 minutes or so. This made me miss my next flight when I landed in Instanbul. I think they might have been doing extra checks on the plane so it's fine. Even though I missed my flight and it was out of my control, I was able get another flight within 5 hours and free of charge!"

Fordeler: "Service and food were very good, so happy to be fed and watered even though it was a short flight, really pleasant surprise."
Ulemper: "The wait to go through security when we got to Rome, but I dont think the airline was the cause of that."

Ulemper: "Paid to upgrade to business/first class and still was given a seat in economy. I don't mind economy as I sit in economy often but this time I paid extra money to be up front and they did not consider that."

Fordeler: "They gave us a meal on a 2.5 hour flight and we were very surprised!"
Ulemper: "They boarded late and you had to take a shuttle to the plan. We drove to the plane and waited for 15 minutes in the cramped shuttle while they were putting another staircase to the plane and finishing prepping it. We left a half an hour late and the flight was already at 10pm. It was a pretty terrible experience! And the section of the Istanbul airport we were in was pretty dirty. Also the movie they played had two language options but no English which was disappointing."

Ulemper: "Did not have as the flight to istanbul was cancelled and moved to alitalia"

Ulemper: "Entertainment option was restricted to one movie for everyone on the flight. I wasn't interested in the movie. This flight was not equipped with the entertainment suite attached to the chair like the previous flight."

Fordeler: "The in-flight entertainment was good. The economy seats were decently spacious and the food was good as well. If I would fly Turkish again, I would fly specifically because of these reasons."
Ulemper: "The pre-boarding experience was bad and at times a little arrogant as well. I boarded Turkish three times, once in San Francisco, second in Istanbul and third in Barcelona. While the experience of boarding the flight was good in Barcelona, the crew sitting at the flight information desk in Istanbul and the crew sitting on the counter wasn't very helpful and plain arrogant at times. This was the crew providing information in Istanbul: Me: Hi, could you please tell me the meal plan selected for my next flight? Crew: (shouting) You dont have a connecting flight hence no meal is provided to you. What are you doing here you should be at your terminal immediately. Next!! (I was 8 min away from my terminal and asking this question 30 minuted before my boarding time). After handing her my passport, this was the lady who greeted me at the check-in counter in San Francisco: Lady: Is Istanbul your final destination Me: Actually I have flights from Istanbul to Barcelona and then later to (interrupted) Lady: Sir, your final destination is Istanbul (harsher tone). Me: (Not sure what to make out of that information) Could you check because I have booked some more flights later. Lady: (laughing at me now) Do you understand what I said, your flight destination is Istanbul. Lady: (Now I was a little angry because of the language and the tone) Ok whatever check me in. She now starts processing my check-in. Suddenly starts smiling to the other passenger on my right. Gets up starts talking to them. Comes back after a couple of minutes. Then she checks the other flights Lady: You have a flight after two days to Barcelona. Do you have a visa for that? Me: Yes. And then we just leave without saying anything else. I later found out what she meant. Rule says I have to check-out my bags whenever I have a flight after 24 hours and therefore my final destination was Istanbul. There was a better way to tell us about this for sure."

Ulemper: "The crew was very rude and was not helpful at all."

Ulemper: "In addition to long delay before the aircraft was finally parked on the tarmac, passengers had to wait for more than 40 minutes before the checked bags were delivered. There was nobody from the ground crew to tell us the reason for the delay as passengers were just wondering about waiting for their luggage. This airline needs to know how to treat their passengers well."

Ulemper: "This Lufthansa flight was operated by United Airlines. Coach seating was uncomfortable after a couple hours despite moving around regularly."

Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."

Ulemper: "Seats were uncomfortable and the food was not worth eating"

Fordeler: "Friendly staff. Free drink and snack. Comfy seats and very easy boarding process"

Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

Fordeler: "The airline staff was great. Everyone really helpful."

Fordeler: "1st Class is a joke. They leave the middle coach seat vacant. You do have more overhead storage since there are fewer people in "1st Class". Otherwise you may as well be in coach. For flights within Europe this appears to be the standard. Save you money fly coach when traveling within Europe."

Ulemper: "You take a bus to reach the plane and the seats are uncomfortable without any entertainment systems. Thankfully the flight was only 1.5 hours."

Fordeler: "The flight attendants were friendly, and service was fast. The snack was a chicken and carrot sandwich. It was good."
Ulemper: "The boarding was delayed twice and no explanation was given by the staff. We arrived 1 hour late."

Ulemper: "Very cold. Always very cold in premium economy section on LH 747-8."

Ulemper: "The rows were so close together it was hard to get in and out of your row. If the seat in front of you reclined, the t.v. was 9 inches in front of your face."

Fordeler: "We were treated very well by all staff. Very nice crew"

Ulemper: "Seems like they want to nickel and dime you for everything now..."

Fordeler: "It was overall a great flying experience."
Ulemper: "One of my connections was way too short. I almost missed my flight. I had to run!"

Fordeler: "Boarding was automated gates was easy."

Fordeler: "Once again, the in-flight crew was excellent."
Ulemper: "The Frankfort airport is a nightmare. They have loooooooong gateways, so when I Finally got through security FOR THE THIRD TIME, it’s a 10 minute, speed-walk to the gate. Again, a flight delay was the only thing that made the connection possible. I made it to the gate with 3 minutes to spare, so no time for the bathroom, no time to get lunch or even a bottle of water, no time period. And at the end of it all, my bag is lost."

Fordeler: "There's nothing much that's positive to say about this leg of our journey."
Ulemper: "Not only was the flight delayed, but there was confusion at the gate for boarding of even first or business class. We had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs to get on a bus, which then transported us a very long ways away on the tarmac. Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

Ulemper: "Expect to be delayed if it snows a bit in Munich. Delayed for more than 7 hours total. 3 of those on the plane in Munich. Horrible!"

Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."

Ulemper: "The boarding gate was changed three times. I fell asleep at one of the gates. Luckily I woke up and realized the second change in time to still make it there."

Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordeler: "Excellent service. Excellent food! So thoughtful."
Ulemper: "Seat is not premium."

Fordeler: "Lufthansa is one of few airlines in Europe with pure class and excellent service. Even in economy!"

Ulemper: "I felt like the airlines deliberately cheated me. I purchased a flight that was listed as "economy" , which means I am authorized one suitcase. When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Fordeler: "Plane was very clean and drink service was frequent."
Ulemper: "The gate was older, not well appointed and far from shops and better dining. We lined up only to be taken on a very long shuttle ride to the plane. I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

Fordeler: "Crew was nice enough, entertainment was ok. Food was ok. The plane was old and a little dirty."
Ulemper: "Boarding was incredibly chaotic, seats were old and uncomfortable."

Fordeler: "Staff was friendly, flight was on time"
Ulemper: "No snacks on flight of 12h 20min?! I was offered the appetizer (pretzel or biscuit - both of 14gr of product inside). This is unacceptable - overseas flights have to have some snacks No eye mask or ear plugs, nor socks for economy class Outdated entertainment"

Ulemper: "the flihgt was 3 hours late because a person who did not hold a ticket got on the plane and refused to get off, how can this happen?? this is a major breach of security and made me feel very unsafe"

Ulemper: "A319 is inherently a badly arranged seating layout. Was in Row 30, no recline, and 3 full grown men for a 3 1/2 hour flight. I wonder if squeezing in the extra 3 or 6 seats is a payout when looking at people's likelihood to fly again?"

Fordeler: "Overall reasonable flight. Nothing to write home about"
Ulemper: "Breakfast was what I imagine prison food must be like. Rest of meals were fine"

Fordeler: "There was no in-flight entertainment system so I rejoiced to discover there was in-flight WiFi."
Ulemper: "But Wifi did not offer much, just some summary descriptions on the destination. I'd be enchanted to get via WiFi the well-known in-flight map showing which leg of your flight was accomplished."

Fordeler: "The plane took off as scheduled and arrived promptly. Flight attendents are polite, pleasant and helpful."

Ulemper: "Our home was damaged, and we were without power for 6 days due to Hurricane Irma. We called the airlines repeatedly in an effort to cancel the ticket before the flight. They refused to cancel the tickets. Heartless"

Fordeler: "The cabin was clean and comfortable. The crew was efficient and friendly. We departed early and arrived early and the entertainment was just what I wanted."

Fordeler: "The seat spacing was fair -- I'm 185 cm (6' 1") and I could sit normally. The crew were friendly and rather competent. The food was adequate. We were given several rounds of drinks, which is beyond what usually comes with budget travel."
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment except for a magazine; the food was not very sophisticated. I'm OK with both."

Ulemper: "I specifically selected three seats for my Wife and two children ages 7 and 5. I did not fly back with them and at check in the three seats were confirmed on a boarding pass printed at their departure location. Upon checking in on the connecting flight in Vienna, the seat assignment had been completely disregarded and three seats located 10+ aisles apart were given to a family traveling together??????? This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings."

Fordeler: "6 hours delay, first deplaning due to mechanical failure, 2nd deplaning due to electrical storm. Missed my connection to Asia requiring total new bookings and expense. Never flying AA again."

Ulemper: "We were boarded and then told we had to sit on the plane for 45 minutes before take off. It's possible this way beyond the crew's control, but still would've been better to wait in the airport. Also, the movie selection was smallish compared to some other airlines."

Ulemper: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Ulemper: "Had travelled KLM to Amsterdam on my first flight 27 years ago and the aircrafts are stuck in that age! Lousy seats, poor quality bathrooms, lousy screens, prefer not to fly them"

Fordeler: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Ulemper: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Fordeler: "Food was just fine, movie selection very good"
Ulemper: "Uncomfortable seat cushions, lights were truned on too early (1.5 hours before flight landed)"

Ulemper: "The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been."

Ulemper: "The plane was dirty, all seats did not have pillows and blankets. Seating was not very comfortable, particularly as there was a box attached to one of the legs of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to move my legs to an uncomfortable angle."

Fordeler: "The crew were just amazing, such lovely male stewards! They were helpful and friendly and generally wonderful."
Ulemper: "The entertainment was quite dated and didn't have new movies etc"

Fordeler: "The staff were friendly and all smiles. Seats were comfortable and we had a quick, smooth flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam. The breakfast supplied was an egg and mayonnaise sandwich plus a drink, which seemed about right and very Dutch in character."
Ulemper: "It was rainy and necessary to walk outside to access the plane; the staff should give their customers a heads-up so that jackets can be donned. Additionally, the check-in queue seemed rather sluggish."

Fordeler: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Fordeler: "Professional, friendly service. Punctual, safe flight. Comfortable, spotless airplane."
Ulemper: "What is there not to like about KLM? I cannot find anything."

Fordeler: "The plane is clean and comfortable. The boarding was easy."
Ulemper: "The staff on all SAS flights seem a little lazy."

Ulemper: "The baggage fees has to be clearly informed, they have a different fees almost double if u checkin bag from 22hrs of departure, total ripoff. Bundle the baggage fees when you buy ticket."

Fordeler: "that there was a water and a blanket on each seat!"
Ulemper: "I thought there was free alcohol on international flights. that you were not allowed to use the given blanket until after take off."

Fordeler: "The flight went by fast."
Ulemper: "They should have provided some goodies to eat. Due to people that needed something to eat. For example, my mother being diabetic and I was telling them to please provide something. Event then, nothing was done :( ."

Ulemper: "The plan was old and dirty, old magazines and gum wrappers in my seat, stained carpet.The ride was quite bumpy."

Fordeler: "Good boarding process and crew today."
Ulemper: "Plane was delayed and connection in Copenhagen was missed, resulting in a five-hour delay overall."

Fordeler: "Fairly easy boarding process and nice staff"
Ulemper: "Delayed about an hour once all boarded"

Fordeler: "Nice interiors, relatively new airplanes, and very professional staff"
Ulemper: "Limited food ans beverage selection, and alcohol is served with an additional cost"

Fordeler: "It was the first time I needed to use "Passenger Assistance" and it made my experience excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you."

Fordeler: "The only thing that saved the flight was a good crew and decent food."
Ulemper: "My husband uses a wheel chair and a delightful attendant wheeled him and about 20 other passengers to a very well equipped handicap area. There we all stayed until finally we demanded that we be taken to our flight which was supposed to leave in about 10 minutes. When we boarded the plane all the other passengers were already there and I was the last one on. All the overhead bins were taken and I had to put my carry-on under the seat which left me with almost no leg room. By the time we arrived in SFO my thighs and back hurt so much that I was worried maybe I would require medical attention. Which fortunately was not the case. It was luck that I had a bag that would actually fit under the seat."

Fordeler: "Very friendly crew. Complimentary bottles of water. Comfortable blankets."

Fordeler: "Seats are pretty comfortably and spacious for economy class (I’m small though, so take that with a grain of salt). The lunch was pretty solid, would have preferred a hot breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast was grilled veggies with fruit and yogurt on the side, kind of a mish-mash of things."
Ulemper: "- Would have liked a better breakfast - More entertainment with subtitles (esp foreign films) - More entertainment selection"

Fordeler: "The food and entertainment on board is great. I was very pleased with how they organized the checking of bags and the fact I picked it up at my final destination without any issues and right on time."
Ulemper: "Some of the staff at the check in desks can be very rude. Also, on my initial flight, they closed the check-in early and left many of us stranded without knowing who to talk to and how to manage to get on the plane. When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Ulemper: "Our ticket said economy, but it was a specific set of economy that did not include any baggage. If we were warned prior we could have purchased it for significantly cheaper. Our ticket was not clear and it cost us 175usd for two bags at the airport. Very disappointing"

Ulemper: "Charged 70 Euros for one bag. Expected to pay something but thought that was a bit much. Plane could've been more neat."

Fordeler: "Jal is the best airline"
Ulemper: "The movies and tv shows could be different for inbound and outbound flies, or at least change them more often"

Fordeler: "I liked that boarding and take off went smoothly. The cabin crew was extremely nice and always was there when you need something!"
Ulemper: "There was no snack served."

Fordeler: "I'm surprised this is called a budget airline (or am I mistaken?!). Anyway, everything was great. The entertainment options were limited compared to Turkish, Emirates, Lufthansa or Qatar, but enough for a 7 hour flight and then some. Also, I liked that there was a bottle of water on each seat for people to hydrate. Very important, and I haven't seen any other airline do it."
Ulemper: "Nothing stands out really. I'm likely going to fly them again."

Fordeler: "My first time flying SAS on my trip to Europe from USA and I was highly impressed. Everything was efficient and comfortable. One of the highlights was the check in - this is often a long and frustrating process, however this could not have been easier and so quick. I was very happy and made my entire check in experience simple and efficient. I will be going straight to SAS for my next trip to Europe, no question. Thank you very much!!! Daniel Valewink"

Ulemper: "Due to a train mix-up, I arrived at the Frankfurt airport with only 53 minutes to get through security and board. Lufthansa would not let me through the process, even though I immediately told them about the problem. They not only refused to let me board, but also refused to reschedule me. I had to buy a whole new round-trip ticket at more than double the price in order to meet my family for our once-in-a-lifetime reuinion in Norway, but also make my existing connection for the return flight. It cost me an additional 999 Euros cash in the middle of my vacation because my Kayak ticket was not refundable."

Fordeler: "I had a window seat with a view of New York City as we flew North."
Ulemper: "The sound quality of the earphones was so poor that I could not understand most of the dialogue of the film that I watched."

Fordeler: "Great movies. Lcd Screen is awesome"
Ulemper: "Somewhat unfriendly crew"
