Ulemper: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

This, in turn, caused a domino effect for the remainder of my flights and travel plans. I had to PURCHASE brand new tickets and go through a refunding debacle, not through Kayak but another third party whom actually held the tickets. FIASCO is the word! Kayak did not even recognize the cancellation and continued to try and check me in to flights i was not on. Such a headache.. I will not be using this service in the future"

Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."

Also Lufthansa did not do a good job managing carry-on bags, so that it took way too long to load people and many bags were left over once overhead bins were full. Seating area is cramped in economy."

Fordeler: "Seats are fairly comfortable. We were delayed and missed our connection. A woman in the service center expedited finding us a new flight and getting us a good hotel."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed from Rome. They had scheduled our connection too close (55 minutes) so we missed it. No explanation for the delay was given. The food is just terrible. Might be the worst I've ever had on an airplane. The only way I could book seats ahead of flight day was to buy them - and then I didn't get them because of the delay and had to sit in the second to the last row where it was pretty bumpy."

Ulemper: "Boarding mix up, which was completely Lufthansa's responsibility, delayed my flight to Istanbul for one hour which caused my missing my connection with another airline. This in turn cost me the original flight and a new ticket purchase of at an exorbent price."

Ulemper: "Strict weight limitations for carry on luggage. Go British Airways if you have large carryons. Lufthansa is militant about luggage weights."
Fordeler: "The chicken, potatos and spinach dish was the best. I like that they have you a pillow, cover, and headphones."
Ulemper: "At first the movies worked then they did a reset and my audio stopped working and they did another reset when I let an attendant know about it and it still didn't work. They never came back for me to let them know about the problem."

Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"
Ulemper: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here."
Ulemper: "KLM crews look unhappy with their work. Everything they do is a favor not duty."
Fordeler: "Excellent experience with the cabin crew."
Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."
Ulemper: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."
Fordeler: "Crew was courteous and polite! Entertainment system had some great movies at no additional cost."
Ulemper: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"
Ulemper: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."
Fordeler: "Equally friendly crew and experience. It was complimented by the time we got to spend in the fantastic KLM lounge while we waited for the flight."

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Ulemper: "Nothing. Could say there was no entertainment but I didn't want entertainment on such a short flight"

No objections to secondary clearance, but procedure a joke. Machine was half way down the terminal. Half hour wait, and you could have left your carry on with somebody else, get cleared by machine, pick up your bag again and get on board."

Ulemper: "They didn't start boarding until 5 minutes before take off and this was just onto the bus that would take us to the airplane. There was no communication why they were running so far behind. Once we landed in Warsaw, we sat on the plane for around 20 minutes waiting for them to bring the bus to pick us up and remove our luggage from underneath. I had a connecting flight I would have missed if it wasn't delayed. They also had the door open while waiting and the heat and humidity was pretty stifling with everyone already standing up waiting to disembark."

Fordeler: "The food was good for an airline. on business class dreamliner from Toronto to Warsaw the seat is comfortable, if a little short for a 6'5" person. In the sos called "buisness class" to Israel the seats are as crampped as any cattle class of a low cost. I wish those idiots that invented "euro club" would understand that it is a first class ripp-off and that if they are only flying two people per side using real comfortable seats makes faar more sense. In short - euro club is BS of teh worst class."
Ulemper: "The atitude of teh staff on teh flight was OK. Other than that very sour including teh check-in and teh businss club. Going through the border control in Warsaw took 45 minutes. Luckily the flight was delayed. In short, the attitude is strictly old fashion eastern block. On the dreamliner business classs the TV's did not work, but in any case they are way too far (about 6 feet) from the passanger for comfort. Very impractical."
Ulemper: "The crew had everyone measure their suitcases and pay for overweight, which significantly delayed boarding."
Ulemper: "I was informed that the second segment was cancelled after flying to Warsaw (first segment). I effectively wasted the whole working day."
Ulemper: "Over 45 minute delay going from Krakow to Warsaw with only a scheduled 1hr35m layover to get connection to JFK. Just made it!"

Ulemper: "Something needs to be done about carry on baggage. On this flight alone, I counted 80+ people who had to pay for carry on luggage because it also included our backpacks. There were a lot of angry people. Paying $85 for my carry on that alone didn’t weigh 10kg was ridiculous. I’ll be looking into other airlines for my future trips."

Please include some snacks and water during international flights."

Ulemper: "I get that it is a budget airline, but water. Come on. It's water. I'm not asking for food or there to be an entertainment system for the 7hour flight, there's not, or USB chargers, there aren't, but the least you could do is offer people some free water when you come up and down the aisle weaving"
Ulemper: "After having no issues with my carryon on my first Norwegian flight of the day, I was forced to pay 650 NoK to check my carryon as we were boarding my flight from Oslo to New York. This was just ridiculous because my bag fit in the overhead bins just fine and there we’re many empty overhead bins"

Ulemper: "While flying from Oslo to Reykjavik for a backpacking trip, my backpack (with my tent, cooking equipment, clothes, and food in it) was lost. As a result, I was forced to spend several nights in Reykjavik waiting for my backpack to arrive. Norwegian Air had horrible customer service when I called to inquire about my bag. They did not coordinate well and were slow to track down our bags. After they did find our bags and rerouted them to Reykjavik, they missed their flight AGAIN! What is more, they refused to guarantee any compensation. Hence, I had to pay for clothes, food, and lodging without assurance of reimbursement. I will never fly Norwegian Air again."
Fordeler: "planes are brand new and for the price (under $500.00) from Stockholm to NY it's a steal - but...…."
Ulemper: "same point !We booked a trip from Stockholm to NY. Got to the airport and the baggage fee was quite high, but i was ok paying it since i didn't prepay online- my mistake. BUT then i was told since the plane was stopping at Oslo we had to pay ANOTHER SET OF LUGGAGE FEES !!!! I said, no you must be mistaken, there is no way you can charge me for two trips just because your plane is making a stop! They insisted and rather than fight and get thrown out of the airport i am disputing with my credit card company, but it can't possibly be legal. $690.00 fees !"
Ulemper: "They lost our bags in the transfer and did not even offer water on the flight!"
Fordeler: "Food was actually provided with our ticket... not just ONE meal, but also a snack for before the arrival and the meals tasted good! Also, Oslo is a new and beautiful airport with great options for meals and stores to wander around. Also, the airplane had huge windows to look out of with new dimmer technology as opposed to just a shade. Very cool! With a couple of small downsides, we would STILL definitely fly Norwegian."
Ulemper: "We gate checked a stroller but were unable to pick it up to use in Oslo which was a surprise as it went straight through from gate check to full check in through the layover... with a 3hr 45min layover, it could have been useful to have it for our infant to sleep. Leg room is tight. Small selection of new movies for entertainment when compared to other airlines and it would have been nice to know we could get complimentary drinks anytime during the flight, but they were only available for free during meal service unless you purchased additionally."

Fordeler: "New 787. 9 hr. flight. Seating in Economy. Was one of the best 9 hour flights I have experienced in some time. Only issue not having a better seat. A bit tight. But, for cost of fare it was ok. All else fine. Yes, many comforts cost. But, that is standard for many lower cost airlines. We have been using Norwegian Air for several years now. Already looking to book several long-haul flights w NA. Delays in boarding aircraft seemed to be security. Not NA"
Ulemper: "At times, the cabin staff seemed a bit slow. Otherwise, I have no complaints."
Ulemper: "Paid for an isle seat but assigned a window. No organization at boarding. Lots of signs for bag restrictions but not heeded or adhered to by passengers or staff. Ridiculous!!!"

Even water and soda is $3 for a small can. If you want a blanket, they charge, if you want anything, they charge. Luggage was over $80. Just pay more for a different airline, it will be less"
Ulemper: "Delayed flight, crew didn’t notify until 45 minutes into the hour we ended up waiting before the doors were closed. Flight arrived 40 minutes later than the arrival time and the lack of urgency in allowing passengers to deplane resulted in me missing my connecting flight. Will never fly with Norwegian again"
Ulemper: "There was no option to choose a meal when booking through you. We weren't aware that we would have to do this somehow so we went the 10 hour flight without food. They were sold out of anything decent on the SNACK BAR menu."

Ulemper: "Our original flight from LAX to Norway was delayed 3 hours and caused us to miss our connecting flight to Iceland. The travel site was able to provide accommodations. Our return flight from Oslo to LAX was another bit of a hassle. We were each questioned by Norwegian Air employees. They were very strict about our luggage but not informative and inconsistent in the way they dealt with each of our luggages. They were also rude about it. When it was time to enter the gate, we were questioned by the same employees again. It was a waste of time and also unfair because we realized not all pssengers had to go through the same process we did. I won’t fly Norwegian Air in the future."
