Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed 2.5 hours, during which we had boarded but were told we could not leave our seats even for the bathroom. We were offered a cup of water once during this delay which is inexcusable. (We were also woken up to serve dinner at 1am so that was incredibly inconvenient for an overnight flight) On top of that, I, as well as many others missed our connecting flight. Personally I missed my connection by 20 minutes, which seems a reasonable amount of time to hold a connecting flight with so many people from our flight on that next one. In missing by only 20 minutes, we have lost an entire day of our trip and are spending 9! hours in the airport today. There was no communication between flights clearly. Despite there being an earlier flight we could’ve been placed on after missing our connection - we did not get booked on this flight. I asked why and they just randomly placed people on random flights with no regard for when we showed at the desk. In this scenario, a first come first serve would have alleviated an absolutely awful experience. I will never fly Swiss Air again and will urge people I know to not fly this airline. The experience was extremely frustrating, the best response from an employee was “that’s all I can do for you” and I wish it on no one."

Ulemper: "Horrible boarding and check-in. I fly internationally for business. This by far and away was the worst experience ever. There were 2 parts to our travels. Flight from Dusseldorf to Zurich, then Zurich to Los Angeles. in Dusseldorf, SWISS oversold the plane by 25 passengers. It was unbelievable, SWISS was randomly determining who would not fly and miss their other connecting flights in Zurich. It was by shear luck that we were able to keep our original reservation. SWISS needs to realize that this type of problem is serious. I can't imagine every flying SWISS again."

Fordeler: "After almost completely adapting to the spartan amenities of US domestic airlines, my recent SWISS flight had a too-good-to-be-true quality that rendered my travel companion and I giddy with delight. My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

Ulemper: "They didn't have a vegan menu. I had requested vegan and called over the phone a month before my flight and they said they understood. Then on the flight I was told they only do vegetarian which was not good enough. After food was passed out to guests the flight crew dissapeared and never came to collect food trays till about 2 hours after and guests were starting to make a mess leaving food trays on the ground and isles. I had already selected my seat prior to boarding which I paid hundreds of dollars for. Then after boarding the flight crew asked me and the gentleman sitting next to me to move our seats to accomodate for another man that wanted to sit next to his wife. Then I was stuck in a middle seat and I paid for an isle seat. I thought this was rediculous. No one offered me a discount or anything! And the man that wanted to sit next to his wife wouldn't let the plane leave till he was sitting next to his wife. What was I supposed to do? Hold up the plane even longer? This was so crazy!! Outrageous!"

I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

I knew this information based on online reviews, but the airline itself never did anything to offer this, I had to walk around on the airport, for like 2 hours I could not find decent help and some instructions in broken English. I had to pay 25 Euros to get mi visa stamped and walk out of the airport. The Turkish Airlines attendant that set up the free hotel for us, walked us to a shuttle that would drive us to the hotel, but the shuttle driver got lost? or something happened that caused for him to drive around town for more than an hour, speaking on the phone loudly in Turkish and completely ignoring us when we asked questions, This got a little scary since we had no idea what was going on, at some point we were in the middle of a dark residential area, and listening to the driver yell on the phone (god knows what). Luckily a driver came over and guided us to the hotel, but seriously, they should be careful about who they hire for these kind of tasks. (I posted a video on instagram with footage of the guy driving us around in case my family needed to find me)."

Today two planes arrived in LIS from IST, none of them with our luggage. Screen shows my name with mention "Not loaded" regarding the luggage. This incompetence is unacceptable from "Europe's best airline". This title is misleading advertising and should not be allowed."

Ulemper: "The crew was inefficient: delivering coffee one cup at a time and not even offering it to everyone. I had asked a flight attendant for a glass of water and was never brought water until I asked someone else. The check-in personnel and flight attendants seemed to have no knowledge of toddlers traveling with a carseat, so I had to explain to them that he travels with his carseat or he manages to get out of his seatbelt. They made some calls to see if it was fine to bring the carseat onboard and finally gave us the ok, which we were very grateful for. When it was time to board and also to exit the aircraft it was a very slow process...much slower than usual. Most airlines have you boarding 30 minutes prior to your flight, but we were still standing around waiting."
Boarding in NCL is really bad. I'm sure part of that is a directive from the airport that KLM can't change but part of that is due to KLM policy. NCL doesn't announce the gate of departure until 30 minutes before departure. However, when you arrive at the gate area, the gate agents file everyone into one long line and everyone boards from one line at one time. This line can stretch for 200m...easily. There is a separate line for groups 1 and 2 but you don't know it until you get to the gate area and agents don't announce/advertise it. Everyone else is grouped into one line. Are you in group 3? Doesn't matter...you board with group 5. Traveling with a child? Tough luck...you're stuck at the end of the line and board last. The last part is very annoying because none of the gates at NCL (with the exception of 1 used by Emirates) has a jetway. To board, you must leave the gate area, walk downstairs, walk onto the tarmac and walk up stairs to board the plane. Highly challenging if you're traveling with small children. That boarding process begs for a concession to allow people with children to board first because they will need extra time. But there is no such policy. Just a really horrible boarding experience all around.

Ulemper: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

The crew that checked at the gate was completely unprofessional, i had a child, stroller and a carry on luggage and the crew did not bother providing any help getting down 3 flight if stairs. I asked for hel and they ignored me
I've always been very happy with Lufthansa, but this trip was definitely a struggle. Lufthansa had some technical issues which caused a serious mess for one of our passengers. What was really disappointing about that was the number of hours that we and Lufthansa personnel at the airport had to spend to fix the problem, hours that they could have used more effectively in other areas. That combined with the high volume of summer travelers, and short staff, made it a less than optimal experience.
Check in working effective. Kind cabin personnel . Not too note storage place inside for carry on luggage .

Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Fordeler: "The Munich airport presented a startling contrast to heathrow! Both the flight from London and from Munich were very nice. I was so tired that I am sure I missed a lot."
Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"
Fordeler: "Seating was good"

Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, as clear instructions were not given about which group was boarding when and where to line up. Also Lufthansa did not do a good job managing carry-on bags, so that it took way too long to load people and many bags were left over once overhead bins were full. Seating area is cramped in economy."
Ulemper: "Missed my flight by 2 minutes and couldn’t find any representatives to help me determine my options. Was left to figure it out in my own."

Ulemper: "The flight did not take off from Dusseldorf until AFTER we were scheduled to arrive in Frankfurt. There were no updates from the flight crew on the delay or on our connecting flight."

Fordeler: "I liked the comfort of the seats and the spaciousness of the area allowing for standing out of the way. The service was exceptional and the food on this flight was very good. Entertainment was also very good."
Ulemper: "My only suggestion would be if the crew would inquire if you've ever flown either with Lufthansa or specifically business Class and just give tips if needed. Other than that, on this leg of our journey we had no complaints."

Ulemper: "First, Lufthansa lost our baggage from Hamburg to Los Angeles. Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

Ulemper: "No entertainment, Two hour delay......almost missed our connecting flight."

Ulemper: "I had to pay extra because I didn't know that Lufthansa only allows one piece of luggage for international passengers, unlike most of their competition. Cost me $375 extra!!!"
Fordeler: "No delay and the landing is smooth"
Ulemper: "Boarding seamed inefficient. Loaded handicap onto separate vehicle in middle of us boarding, so it stopped our process. My seat didn't recline even though it had a button. No in flight entertainment?! At all... Got a crappy breakfast omelet that i didn't want to put in my stomach."

Fordeler: "Service for economy class was what you would expect from other airlines in business class. Lufthansa has the best service of any airline I have ever flown with."

Fordeler: "I liked the food and courteous staff. Our flight was on time in order to connect to our next flight. They assisted us to our waiting wee Lchairs."
Ulemper: "Everything was ok. Nothing I did not like on that flight"

Ulemper: "Boarding mix up, which was completely Lufthansa's responsibility, delayed my flight to Istanbul for one hour which caused my missing my connection with another airline. This in turn cost me the original flight and a new ticket purchase of at an exorbent price."
Fordeler: "This leg of light was good. Service on board was very good."

Fordeler: "My highlight for the travel was the AMAZING flight attendant named JENS. He is a bright soul. Positive, sharp, witty, and humorous. Just what I needed on a 8 hour flight over the Atlantic."

Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."
Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."
Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."
Fordeler: "Friendly crew. Departure and arrival earlier than expected. Smooth travel from begining to end."
Ulemper: "No food and no entertainment during the flight (which makes it similar to low cost flights)."
Fordeler: "The lie-flat seats were just great ."
Ulemper: "Storage space should be made available beside the seats , especially during take-off and landing. There is none right now , and that's in Business class."
Fordeler: "Plane was clean, plenty of leg room, cabin crew was friendly, flight was on time."
Ulemper: "Checking in was a nightmare of inefficiency. I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"

Ulemper: "The flight was late to Helsinki and we missed our connecting flight to Barcelona that was also on Finnair. I was given a hotel voucher to a nice hotel with a complimentary dinner voucher. The dinner was a buffet that was limited and less than mediocre. A chicken option was not even provided, no soup"
Fordeler: "Clean less of the plane"

Fordeler: "Simple morning flight. Not at all full. Left on time, arrived early. Plane was new. Crew was happy. What more does one need? They were beta testing a new WiFi service. Free, but not yet ready for prime time."
Ulemper: "Had to wait for substitute crew, and they had a bad attitude. Crew could be heard complaining as they sat in rear."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed,missed connection,lost bag"

Ulemper: "Late inbound flight made our flight delayed. No info at gate, until a few minutes before boarding. Small, crammed seats. Very worn seatbelts gives a less than favorable impression."

Ulemper: "They had hidden checked bag fees. Their website says flights from the US get a free checked bag. The checkout charged me $60 to check a bag, when I looked on my reservation it says it’s $55 and when I called customer service they said they charge $100 to check 1 bag less than 20kg for an international flight"

Made some of us check in our carry ons stating that the flight was full, but I found on the plane that there was tons of overhead space after everyone had boarded. I had a connecting flight to tallin for a conference and was nervous that my checked in carry-on wouldn't make it."
Ulemper: "Late boarding, late taking off, late landing, and then there was no gate crew to at least get us off the plane."
Fordeler: "No frills but efficient"

Ulemper: "We had to buy 2 new tickets with Lufthansa in may because finnair cancelled the tickets we bought months ago : the difference of tickets pride was 780$ per tickets to totally we lost over 1,500$ This is not fair at all - they should not propose tickets at such prices and let us think for months our trip is fine because we have to buy last minute new tickets at very expensive prices"

Ulemper: "Sitting in the cramped economy seats was a 9 hour torture"
Ulemper: "Huge lines at the airport for check in and drop off of lugagges. Apparently finnair hasn't heard yet of automatic check in and drop off. After that long wait for boarding and flight delayed. Very little information."
Ulemper: "There was no reason given why the flight left Helsinki 35 minutes from schedule. Boarding aircraft seem to take a longer time than usual for a full flight. The flight crew during boarding in economy didn't have the push needed to get everyone seated in an efficient manner. The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."
Fordeler: "Great crew, very helpful and kind. Helped me stow my banjo in a closet instead of under the plane wich really was great because of its value to me...great food and entertainment options made the trip fly by...hah....kinda freaked out by the whole black glove thing but maybe it's sexy, not sure."
Ulemper: "The weird on board shopping thing."
Fordeler: "I was a bit surprised by cabin crew 's welcoming words that were my native language ,which ware very familiar and joyful . I didn't feel well at that time with a severe cold and I endured during the entire fly . I know it's kind of bad but I made it to my country safely. The food was Korean food and I really enjoyed and loved it so much .The Helsinki airport is great with smoking booth and warm ."
Ulemper: "Nothing but I wonder if they could change my seat to upper one despite my additional fare because I felt bad the day and they had cold pills like medicine."
Ulemper: "food was about the worst I have seen (with special mention to the coffee served as it was def the worst even for airplanes standards) could not check in online ( web would not allow me)"
Ulemper: "Whoever designed and built this airplane should literally be INDICTED - AND I AM NOT KIDDING! We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"
Fordeler: "Not much to enjoy"
Ulemper: "The service. 3 hour late flight, had to rebook my connection out of my own pocket. After we got on the plane, we find out the issues were not fixed and had to wait another hour. Terrible food. Yogurt was actually expired, so I had no breakfast. People were all nice as they told me I should have booked the flights together. Hmmm... Maybe you should not have been 4 hours late. I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Customer service should never make you feel like the issue is your fault."
Fordeler: "I had an empty seat beside me on both legs of my flight. This always makes flying more enjoyable. They fed us two meals both directions. There were pillows and blankets for everyone on your seat when you arrived."
Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "Flight left 4 hours late due to mechanical problems with a very , very old plane. I paid extra for an exit seat that (bc the plane was so old) had cold air seeping in that even with 4 blankets on, a sweater, my jacket I was frozen the whole flight and caught a terrible cold that I have now had for a week."
Ulemper: "American Airlines charged me 100.00 dollars for 1 extra luggage, ridiculous! !!!! Also we took off 1 hour late without any notice..... Flight to Europe with AA sucks..."
Ulemper: "The movies did not play on my screen. I tried to use the screen on the seat next to me and the movies quit in the middle. It was very annoying."
Ulemper: "I paid for an upgraded seat and after boarding other passengers were being moved to the same area that I had paid for an upgraded seat FOR FREE!"

Ulemper: "I couldn't check in on time as the booking numbers were different on the actual company that was flying me. I was trying to do this on my phone and I had to call in each time. couldn't do it on the computer."

Poor check in/No partner flight numbers listed: I booked a Finnair flight, it was operated by American Airlines, which is fairly common, but neither JFK or CDG listed the partner flight number or Finnair anywhere - which led to slow and confusing check in when neither Finnair nor AA could find my reservation"

Ulemper: "Could be a little friendlier. Lights on the whole time during a red eye was pretty annoying. Don't know if this was on purpose or a malfunction. Entertainment system was hard to see and a little outdated."

Ulemper: "It really was not Finnair, it was American. When I tried checking in Finnair had no knowlege of my ticket. I had to read the fine print to find the name American Airlines. Even the woman at Finnair was not sure, and thought that it was run by Brittish Air."
Ulemper: "We paid extra for seat selection which was supposed to be a window seat and ended up in middle seat... not acceptable..."
Fordeler: "It was Iberia airline"
Ulemper: "Put in call light three times without response. They just shut it off!!"
Fordeler: "British Airways did a very good job with everything. Pleasant crew,helpful attendants and great enterntainment. I loved the flight :)"
Fordeler: "The pilot was briefing us about everything There werent much passengers so we were seated in a way where we had space. Great entertainment choices Great food"
