Ulemper: I was reassigned a new seat without notice. I later learned it was due to a malfunction in the seat or IFE system. Several seats seemed effected and broken. The boarding process was disorganized which is unusual for this airline.

Ulemper: the lights kept changing color above constantly which made it hard to sleep when needed. Was traveling with 2 small children and the ability to sit/eat comfortably was a challenge due to the limited space. Food was unappetizing and would have just preferred more fruits instead of the bland meals
Ulemper: Qatar airways claims to have inflight wifi. But it is not true because it did not work in either of my flights. Food could have been better.
Fordeler: Airlines' diligence in arranging an alternative flight in place of the missed connection because the initial departure from JFK was delayed due to technical reasons
Ulemper: Much ballyhooed A350-1000 has noisy engines rudely interrupting my enjoyment of the entertainment system - may be my seats were too close to the engines. The seats are not all that comfortable though perhaps wider than usual configuration in economy.

Second full meal was chopped up to just a salad and main dish...no bread or dessert. Air hostess could be more pleasant. Flight was late 1 hr.
Fordeler: I was not put on the plane because they said my seat did not existed! I had purchased my ticket 3 months prior to departure and they said I did not have a seat on the plane due to overbooking. They clearly gave my seat away to someone else and this is not acceptable.
Ulemper: Ethiad was not helpful at all and did not provide any same day help. They’re customer service was absolutely terrible.
Ulemper: I wish I knew that I could have get a room or food vouchers when I was ordering an e ticket(

Fordeler: Friendly agents . Speak very good English. Swiss airlines serves breakfast croissants and beverages for a short flight without a charge
Ulemper: The airline fix the booking problem because my trip was from Zurich to Brussels to Washington DC to Austin and went I print my boarding passes only show to Brussels. The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it

Ulemper: The plane was small, it rattled and shook a lot and the size of the seats is ridiculous. The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS.

Fordeler: Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport
Ulemper: No downsides at all
Fordeler: The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled.
Ulemper: This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu.
Fordeler: Service was great as usual. Food was very good and entertainment options were great so you won't have to be bored throughout the trip.

Fordeler: My seat was next to bathrooms when everyone start using it start smelling too much very uncomfortable sitting there. Food chicken was very salted, they run out of drinks 10 hours flight dinner served at begging no snacks or anything till 2 hours before landing

Ulemper: Change flight rules and regulations. Shouldn't cancel any flight even one passenger booked air ticket. Lufthansa is very worst service.
Fordeler: There was an reasonably attractive opportunity to upgrade to premium economy, which was extremely nice for my long haul flight

Fordeler: 1. The flight attendant staff was very polite and cheerful. 2. The plane was clean and comfortable.
Ulemper: 1.The entertainment monitor did not function well enough to be able to watch. 2.The headset only function on one ear. 3. You could not hear announcements over the PA system
Fordeler: The flight is easy to check gave us 23kgs check in luggage 46kgs if u have intl flight. Free hotel with breakfast. Not bad at all.
Ulemper: They require us to get the luggage and check in again tomorrow.
Ulemper: The flight left before we get there. I had to book a train ticket to my final destination because I have to be in Fuzhou that day. I was told by the airline that I would be reimbursed the air fare from Xiamen to Fuzhou.
Fordeler: I liked playing tetris and pacman with a controller that was like that of a console. My flight had a lot of empty seats, and I noticed they staggered the seating so that there was nobody in front of me or behind me. Flight crew was genuinely nice and helpful even though we didn't speak the same language. The little cup holder was actually pretty cool. There even seemed to be ample leg room compared to other Chinese international flights I've been on. I've flown previously with china southern and China eastern, so that is my basis for comparison.
Ulemper: They didn't give me boarding passes for both flights (had a long layover in china). Other airlines printed both at the start of trip. This added quite a bit of confusion for me, seemingly unnecessarily. Also, I'm a bit disappointed in their free hotel room deal for long layovers. When I had a long layover previously with either china southern or china easter (can't remember which one), I got my own free hotel room, a free meal, and a free ride to and from the hotel. That was a real perk for my 12 hour layover. The deal with xiaman is you get a free hotel room, but you have to share it with a stranger of the same gender, and you have to pay for taxi to and from the hotel. Although you do supposedly get a free meal, I chose not to take them up on the hotel offer. Instead I took them up on their transfers lounge. This is a dark, quiet room full of dingy, dirty padded chairs and people sprawled out and snoring. I would have stayed more than 15 minutes if there were more phone charging plugs, but instead I went and ate mcdonalds and found a plug in at the kfc. Aside from all that, I would suggest getting some better Hollywood movies to choose from, as xiamen's competition has them beat there as well, in my opinion.
Fordeler: I liked the price of the trip and free hotel for long transit time.
Ulemper: Early arrival in Xiamen (5am) nothing open and no way to exchange money for taxi or food. Eventually found ATM that solved that problem. Wasn't dressed for or expecting the cold weather. Communications were a problem.
Ulemper: Flight got delayed in Xiamen, miss the connecting flight to chongqing.
Fordeler: Nice and friendly crew, good food. Perfect!

You do not update the distance from gate D to gate F I got stuck in the field until the next day without the suitcase and all the people I had arranged with them in Shanghei I could not meet You should be ashamed
Ulemper: Delayed for hours. Missed connecting flight. They rebooked for a flight half a day later. Horrible!
Fordeler: Fast flight and smooth, little turbulence.
Ulemper: 2hr delay at JFK resulted in missing my connecting flight to Dubai. The drink and meal service was awful. I tried calling for an attendant using the help button and they didn’t respond at all.
Fordeler: 1. Leg space is bigger then on other companies 2. Crew was really affable 3. Free wine
Ulemper: Meal was not too hearty. Breakfast in Indian style was too spicy for me. May be I should request a special meal on check-in. And one more thing, Helsinki airport is cold for me. I spent e hours in down vest. Be warned.

Fordeler: It was on one of their newer planes which meant that we had decent comfort and entertainment!
Ulemper: The seats were staggered between the middle and sides, so my family was eventually split across two rows. I hadn't expected that.

Ulemper: Not only the first flight got delayed for over 2 hours. I had to re-book the second - connecting - flight because of that. Now it made my layover instead of 1 h 45 m - 5 hours! Then the second flight got delayed!! So instead of 5 hours layover it was over 7 hours!!! Very inconvenient and upsetting experience. The only reason I booked these particular flights is because they were advertized as "the shortest trip" time on your website...

Fordeler: The crew was very friendly and helpful. The flight wasn't full, so they informed me that I could move to an exit row for extra space, as I'm very tall.
Ulemper: This was a relatively long flight, but no food or drinks, even soft drinks, were included. I also found out at the Madrid airport that there was no desk to check in for Norwegian for connecting flights. This means that I had to leave, go to departures, check in, go through security, and then proceed to the gate. I fortunately had a long layover, but this process would have been impossible if I didn't have at least two hours.
Fordeler: We paid for an upgrade for our return trip after being uncomfortable in economy. Enjoyed the comforts, made the 8 hour flight relaxing.
Ulemper: Other than for food service the crew ignored us. The foot rest was to short for my 5’10” frame.

Fordeler: On our longer flight, we were thrilled- nice crew, delicious food, spacious, great pilot, and enjoyable entertainment experience. However, on our shorter flight from Brussels to telaviv, not only was the crew completely inattentive, but they were intentive to some very disturbing things including children who were pulling the hair of other customers and jumping up-and-down in the aisles of the airplane. There was no available entertainment whatsoever. In addition the food was extremely expensive and not particularly tasty. The plane was uncomfortable and smelled atrocious. These 2 vastly different experiences almost made me feel like I was taking 2 different airlines. Please keep consistency.
Ulemper: I didn't like the inconsistency of the 2 different planes that I was on. If you are going to have entertainment you should have some form of it on all of your airplanes. The idea that food that you need to buy is so expensive is absurd. I was really blown away by how badly the plane smelled. It was almost as if I was in a bathroom. And on top of that I really felt very unsafe with children jumping up-and-down kicking people pulling their hair etc. While it isn't the job of the flight attendants to be parents, they certainly need to be aware of safety concerns for the rest of the passengers.
Fordeler: 3-3-3 layout in economy on the United 777 I was on meant I wasn't cramped for space. WiFi worked well for a significant amount of the time I used it.
Ulemper: Food was typical economy class fare.
Fordeler: The actual boarding functioned ok and despite a late departure we got to Brussels ok. They also announced our boarding gates which helped.
Ulemper: The check in was shockingly bad. I had pre-checked in, but that did not help. I got put in a line for people who had not checked in. It was not possible to ask to be in the right line. Most of the people behind me were moved to another line while we waited for 30 minutes. When I mentioned the ground crew, who had long conversations with the people checking in, he said it was not their fault at all. It was not impressive.
Ulemper: The most unprofessional ground staff I have met coupled with the most disorganised airport

Ulemper: The business class seats on Turkish fully recline which is my top criteria. The window seats don't have direct aisle access though. The food was good as always on the flight. The weakest part of their offering is in the entertainment area where the movies are out of date and the TV series haphazard.
