Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."

Ulemper: "Biggest problem was late arrival, missing connection. Lateness caused by them at first, then a departing passenger caused further delay. But they were late to begin with. Next problem was their REFUSAL to give me an aisle seat. I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Fordeler: "I was gratified to see that the 777 Boeing aircraft have now replaced the older Airbus aircraft..... This is my sixth time traveling to Switzerland from San Francisco on Swiss....Their service in my opinion remains excellent......The cabin crew was cheerful friendly yet remained very efficient at the same time... The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

After heavy protests, they let the waiting passengers back into the terminal. Supposedly the pilot was sick, but there was no communication at all from the airline about the cause of the delay or how long it would last."

Ulemper: "As expected, the plane and seats were okay (borderline mediocre). The food wasn't enough and the choices (rather the lack of) were poor. The seats could be better and not particularly comfortable for a long haul flight."

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Bangkok was delayed for 3.5 hours with no apology and no compensatory measures such as drinks and food or lounge access Power outlets in Istanbul airport are all round plug European with no USB terminals for phone recharging"
Fordeler: "Food and service is excellent. Istanbul lounge is great."
Ulemper: "Delayed in both directions. Happens. But zero announcements. Zero. Staff didn't know what was going on. Complete chaos."
Fordeler: "Kids full of praise for on board entertainment. Efficient and helpful staff. Nice food. Provided me with a veggie meal despite my not ordering one beforehand."

Fordeler: "The crew was really friendly and responsive. Boarding was easy and hassle free because Business class passengers had to go through a seperate gate to board."
Ulemper: "The food was OK, especially the appetizer as it was all cheese and since I dont like cheese, I rate it poor. The inflight entertainment was good but there was a lack of choices in music and tv shows."
Ulemper: "Movies are not very new, i was asked to clear security again at istanbul gate after going to bathroom but i guess that makes me feel safe even though was inconvenient"

Ulemper: "After bus arrived at steps kept on it 20 mins. 2 more buses arrived in this time. Still wait. Then let out all at once. Massive queues to board. Poeple not dressed for this. Poor babies crying Maybe 15 mins waiting in 2am cold on tarmac."

Ulemper: "Make a rule that people cannot put their seats back. People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."
Fordeler: "Everything from check in to offloading went smoothly. Pretty good food and accommodating flight staff."
Ulemper: "My row had 3 seats behing a row of 4. We were weirdly offset so I had to look to the right to see my TV. Super uncomfortable. Dont like TV much anyway. Gave up on it real quick"
Fordeler: "Incorrect carrier! I missed the flights because of them !!!"
Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Fordeler: "The entertainment selection is quite great."
Ulemper: "The food is terrible. So is the crew. Something has gone wrong with Lufthansa latel. I used to prefer flying Lufthansa for their great service and meals. The food has become quite disgusting. The crew is very rude. They show no respect to their non-German speaking passengers, which is unacceptable!"
Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"
Fordeler: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Ulemper: "Very cold. Always very cold in premium economy section on LH 747-8."
Ulemper: "Missed my flight by 2 minutes and couldn’t find any representatives to help me determine my options. Was left to figure it out in my own."
Fordeler: "Lot of space in E-xit-row 18, even for a big man like me"
Ulemper: "Didn't like the fruit dish or the liverwurst type meat."
Fordeler: "Everything was fine except for the comfort."
Ulemper: "The rows were so close together it was hard to get in and out of your row. If the seat in front of you reclined, the t.v. was 9 inches in front of your face."
Fordeler: "We were treated very well by all staff. Very nice crew"

Ulemper: "The plane was 1 hour late and the plane wasn't even at the gate for its expected departure time. The boarding process was too long and take off took too long, thus causing me to miss my connecting flight. So that I missed my Saturday interview."
Fordeler: "Flight Delayed from EWR. But the connecting flight to mumbai was not allowed to boarded. Since the gate closed even though the flight was still there. On top of it, the flight that was provided as an alternative was again with a stopover, so now, we had two stop over and extra 14 hours of layover time. Did not offer hotel stay or transit visa. was stuck in airport. Very much disappointed with Lufthansa. Will never take this flight nor will allow my friends and family to take one ever again."
Fordeler: "The aircraft was great. A bit wobbly on take off and landing, but overall spacious and comfortable seating. The seats had many position options which was amazing. Meal service tableware was clean and pleasant to use. Food was also great. Also a very wide selection of entertainment options! Also, good flying from the pilot’s crew. Flight was on time."
Ulemper: "The servicing crew in the business cabin was inexperienced and unrefined. The flight attendants seemed to just want to “get it over with” with questions like “are you done?” The attendants wanted to take our drink order as soon as we got in without giving us a chance to settle into our seats and kept hovering over us until I had to ask her to give us a couple of minutes. The airline did not stock enough snack and ran out mid flight. We had to wait for the next meal service which was not fun. I ended up getting a sweet drink just to get by. Internet, which was paid, was so slow that I got tired of watching it trying to load the pages and gave up. Eventually, the connection completely stalled even though I still had over an hour remaining of the 4 hour package. I used maybe an hour of the total purchase. Total waste because I couldn’t get any work done. Overall, I did not think this was an experience worth a business class ticket."

Ulemper: "Wife n I was seated separate; I was assuming management would understand we were travelling together, seat was cramp. Meals was served far apart in timing or closed to landing on last meal."
Fordeler: "Lufthansa and SAS. A great combination."

Fordeler: "Second leg of an overseas flight still business class nice service tired from overnight first leg"
Ulemper: "As me ruined in the first leg they lost my luggage and eight hours later they have no idea where it is. After paying over 2000 bucks for a business class flight that really put a damper on things."
Fordeler: "They boarded back of aircraft first. They gave wine on demand. They were smiling and helpful and greeted us on entry and exit. The little things matter!"
Ulemper: "It was difficult to fall asleep in the seats. Uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "Plane loaded late then waited on the tarmac, arrived an hour later than scheduled time. This has happened to me on every one of the ten Lufthansa flights I have been on. Apparently they don't know what it is to be on-time."
Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."
Fordeler: "There was nothing I liked. The walk was too long at Frankfurt"
Ulemper: "My granddaughter of 3 years had painful ear block and the crew was so unfriendly about it unlike other airlines that try to offer remedies."
Fordeler: "Flight attendants are great"
Ulemper: "I don't like the Star Alliance. Due to where I live and where I go, I have to use the United/Lufthansa combination. If I book with United, I can't select my Lufthansa seats until 24 hours before my flight. That means I end up in the back of the plane in the least desirable seats. If I book with Lufthansa, then I can't book my United seats. I have booked with United and paid for economy plus, then find as I board, the Lufthansa flight doesn't have economy plus."

Ulemper: "The gate changing 3 times."
Fordeler: "Service for economy class was what you would expect from other airlines in business class. Lufthansa has the best service of any airline I have ever flown with."
Ulemper: "The food is not tasty"
Fordeler: "I liked the food and courteous staff. Our flight was on time in order to connect to our next flight. They assisted us to our waiting wee Lchairs."
Ulemper: "Everything was ok. Nothing I did not like on that flight"
Fordeler: "Short flight, not much to say about it."
Ulemper: "We were offered two hot meals, each time with the same 2 choices. That's not much to choose from..."
Fordeler: "This leg of light was good. Service on board was very good."

Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."
Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."
Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."
Fordeler: "goulash, chicken pizza, warsteiner, and wine"
Ulemper: "My movie froze 1/2 way through the flight and the crew could not reset it. I was staring at a frozen Jungle Book bear for 3 hours."
Fordeler: "Very good entertaining system plus good food . Crew members taking care about people all the time."
Fordeler: "Very helpful crews. Any problems."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Ulemper: "This time we experienced a strong turbulence. It would be more helpful if the crew gave updates about the situation more often, was really scary. Also, the food was not good at all...."
