This made our two long flights uncomfortable with nothing to change into once we landed in Dubai and still had another 8 flight to Johannesburg. The flight itself was overbooked, and we then had to place our backpacks under the seats in front of us, giving us no leg room for 13 hrs."

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."
Ulemper: "The flight got cancelled, and it was impossible to reach your customer service. It was the first time to use and last time."
Ulemper: "The plane was old and tatty I booked a window seat to actually get the window seat with no window. I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

Ulemper: "Crew was awful. We paid a lot of money for Airport upgrade to business class because we were told economy was oversold. We were promised full business class service. On board aircraft we were not offered business class meal options as we were told they didn’t know how many people had upgraded. It was absolutely embarrassing when crew skipped us when drink and meal service were being ordered. Crew was obnoxious and dismissive about situation. Absolutely atrocious."

Ulemper: "The children meal was not wonderful. But as I only had one and two children - they shared an adult and child meal - which was okay."

Ulemper: "The 777 was crowded and had very little leg room. Our seats were worse than most, as they were over the wing which limited visibility and restricted the already limited leg room of that passenger even more."
Ulemper: "One of the flight attendants was extremely rude. She passed over me several times like I wasn't sitting in the most uncomfortable seat. In the middle. She didn't want to give me water, I had to ask if I could have some water. TSA held me up, I almost missed my flight had to be rushed on and no place to put my things so I had to sit squashed in the middle seat with all my bags for a 12 hour flight. I won't EVER go through Boston AGAIN. I won't ever chose Emirates for that long flight again, if I can help it. The WORST!!"

Ulemper: "there were many who were selected for extra screening (code SSS) this process added a great amount of confusion (without any communication) we were screened and put in an isolation area where we were not allowed to leave or use a bathroom. We were there for over one hour. at one point, we were moving into a long tube like structure where we stayed for at least 30 minutes while others were boarding from an different ramp. the communication was non existent and we were made to feel like prisoners. actually, we were prisoners."

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."
Fordeler: "Very good services by Emirates, flight was on time, leg room between seats was sufficient, meals were good and staff behavior was good"
Ulemper: "The service in business class was extremely poor. There was 1 male flight attendant who was extremely rude and refused to help when there were problems with the entertainment center. Several of the monitors/remote controls were not working. The lay out in the business class prevents you from getting up and out to go to the restroom when the person next to you is lying down and sleeping. The seats recline in a way that are not comfortable. The feet are still downwards. Overall, this plane's business class was not worth the money. I expect much more from Emirates."
Ulemper: "There was a group of teenagers sitting in 8 seats in two of the middle rows right next to me. They spent the whole flight climbing all over the seats and each other. They were very loud, often banging into other passenger's seats, and leaving their stuff in the aisle where people were tripping over things as they walked by. They were really inconsiderate of other passengers - many of whom were trying to sleep on a 13-hour flight. It would have been nice if the crew would have told them to be quieter and more respectful of other passengers."
Ulemper: "Be sure to take your own water bottle with you on this long 14 hour flight. Both directions it seemed that the company approach to beverages was to serve as little as possible, perhaps to keep people out of the bathrooms. But the cabin air was so dry I could barely swallow at times one way drinking only what was provided, but the other way I noticed that my jet lag was greatly reduced when I carried and consumed an extra liter or two above what was provided. At one gate the security crew asked me to dump my water, but I had a small empty bottle with me that I could fill up at the spigot near the bathroom on the plane as needed."

Will never fly A380 again as there are too many passengers and airline don’t know how to handle. On arriving in DEL the baggage room 2:30 hrs to come. Totally disappointed. Lufthansa has no control whatsoever they don’t even care."
Ulemper: "Everything related to flight could have been better. I have flown Lufthansa multiple times in the past never had such drastic issues like this time. Completely disappointed. Should have booked Qatar instead."
Fordeler: "Crew was a top notch, very focused and carrying. I am loyal lufthansa fan and been flying with them with more than 20 years."
Ulemper: "Guys, we need to do something with these outdated business class seats, infotainment system. Omg, last century, movie selection bottom poor :( We are always playing catch up game in terms of interior. How long it took you to offer padding & decent blankets in business."
Ulemper: "Service desk personnel at the gate were very helpful and attentive. The plane was only 1/2-2/3 full, which made boarding quicker. The food was tasty and coffee was great! We were also offered juice twice during the flight. Bathrooms were clean. Since the plane wasn't full, they weren't dirty even at the end of the flight. I brought my own headphones, but the stewards provided them if you need them. My one big complaint was that our seats did not recline, thus making any kind of shut-eye near impossible. Our plane left and hour late, but the pilots stepped on the gas and we got in on time!"
Ulemper: "We were delayed thirty minutes due to slow service. Zero entertainment and only a brownie for a snack"

Fordeler: "MAN-MUC & MUC-CPH via LH. Business class. LH Businesss class is middle seat of 3 is empty and larger amounts of baggage plus you have access to lounges. Both planes flew and arrived reasonably on time, which is what I look for.And I got all the Business Class extras."
Ulemper: "Security at Manchester was very slow - long enough make me ill from standing in one place too long. But then I was well looked after. The meals on both flights were identical; I don't think it can be a big problem to correct that. I took a long time to get accepted by the WiFi in the two lounges."

Ulemper: "My row had 3 seats behing a row of 4. We were weirdly offset so I had to look to the right to see my TV. Super uncomfortable. Dont like TV much anyway. Gave up on it real quick"

Too short time for transited from Munich to Dus. and I missed flight, luggages didn't arrive with my new flight. Very very very bad experience with this booing by this website and I absolutely not accommodate with this web again."
Fordeler: "I loves the pilot. He seemed to love his job and would make a couple funny jokes every time he spoke on the speakers and I never see that. Loved him and his landing was the only one not giving me any ear aches."
Ulemper: "Flight attendant missed couple lines of food and after letting them know instead of bringing the cart back they were tossing the entire plate on top of the head of the other passengers. One of them fell of right on one of the passengers. The second thing that irritates me is that one of the flight attendant approached me and was asking if I want chicken beef or pasta and I said chicken and she was like that is not an option in a very rude tone as of I am dumb or deaf of some sort. The other passengers also confirmed that they heard she did say that chicken was an option She could’ve nicely said it or apologized for telling an option that doesn’t exist. Instead she was giving an really bad attitude about it. Very irritated"
Ulemper: "I was in the middle seat and my neighbor was a mentally challenged person who should not have travelled. She annoyed me the whole trip. Movie selection was very disappointing."
Fordeler: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Ulemper: "Not only was the flight delayed, but there was confusion at the gate for boarding of even first or business class. We had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs to get on a bus, which then transported us a very long ways away on the tarmac. Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

Fordeler: "Although clearly an older plane, it was clean. Gate personnel re-assigned me to a seat in a row with no-one in it."
Ulemper: "The gate of departure moved twice before departure. The last change was to a completely different building. Apparently the equipment was changed and I did not learn that I would need a seat re-assignment until I scanned my boarding pass during boarding. (However, the gate agent was quick to accommodate)."

Ulemper: "Plane was very late; boarding late; short flight so no food or entertainment, but not really a problem. Overall condition of plane was mediocre at best -- old plane, not particularly clean. It was actually Air Canada. If that is a partner of Lufthansa, very disappointed. Would not fly Air Canada again, but LOVE Lufthansa."
Fordeler: "This was a fantastic flight -- the crew were very friendly and helpful, the legroom was great for "regular" economy class, and the flight was on time. The direct flight was so much nicer with young children than having connections. Would fly again any time."

None of these things were done as were booked even when presented with confirmation number provided by the central booking office. To top it off my daughter is allergic to peppers and her allergen free meal contained peppers."

Ulemper: "The person behind me kept pushing my seat back.. guy next to me kept elbowing me. Seat space is way to small, need more room to move. I'm only 130 lbs. can hardly wonder how a bigger person can handle those tiny seat spaces. Also, those seats are so uncomfortable with the way they contour one's back. No support and very very uncomfortable, I had mid back tension pains the entire 12 hour flight."
Fordeler: "we had to cut our trip short and book an immediate flight home on Lufthansa. The staff took excellent care of us. Even offered us some orange juice and milk to take home knowing that we may need it (being away for a while) and knowing that our first priority was to get to a hospital. These little events shows the extreme compassion from Lufthansa's on-board staff. We will now ALWAYS look to fly Lufthansa whenever possible."

Ulemper: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Even if they did not have a vegetarian option, they don't need to be rude!! Boarding was ridiculous. we were supposed to form a line and wait. Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Ulemper: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."
Fordeler: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Fordeler: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Ulemper: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"
Fordeler: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Ulemper: "Too much overoverhead luggage."
Fordeler: "Flight unpleasant. Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

Ulemper: "Delay again... seems to be pretty frequent on KLM flights at least on the ones I flew with in the past 4 years... this time it was 3hours wait due to a technical issue... no alternative flight option and we ended up getting a very old plane as a replacement. In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."

Ulemper: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."

It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."
Ulemper: "No real issues with this flight. it accomplished my objective - to get to Switzerland intact, with a minimum of fuss."

Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."

In addition, there is a great deal of waste in giving everyone sugar, salt, creamer, etc. I know it's more efficient for the flight attendants, but I hate to see so much waste."
Fordeler: "Flight was cancelled at lasy minute. so, all other flights missed. Last minute notification. rebooked on Lufthansa, but wrote wrong codes - more delay."

Ulemper: "The Iberia web site, and web app were not functioning properly. I want able to save any of my personal information such as phone number or known traveler number. I was unable to select a gluten free meal prior to the flight since the web app and website were not working. I tried calleding Iberia customer support over 10 different times and was never able to speak with a representative. The customer support prior to the flight was non-existent."
Fordeler: "The Iberia plane had a new interior, and possibly was a new plane. The new thinner padding on plane seats was not a problem at all. The crew was friendly and let me switch to a different seat that had an empty one beside it so I could stretch out more. A great flight."
Ulemper: "I liked everything. They exceeded my expectations."

Fordeler: "Called BA (the carrier for our FinnAir flight) when I couldn't check in (didn't have a booking number that worked). Staff member did tell me that all was in order with our booking. He wasn't able to check us in anyway, as something was amiss with 'the system'. In the end all worked out fine, we just made sure to get to the airport early to make sure we got decent seats."

Sleeping is already hard on a plane, and this made it way worse...not to mention my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the whole time."

Ulemper: "My bag was left in London during my connection and arrived in Denver the next day. From what I understand once my bag arrived it was handed off to a third party delivery company. I am not sure how to complain to this company, maybe British Airways has a way to do it since they hired them. My bag must have arrived around 3:30pm in Denver. I got a text at 5pm that my bag was being delivered, which is fine so far. I did not hear before 10pm from the delivery guy about an estimated delivery time of my luggage, at that point he said he would show up around midnight. He eventually arrived at 3am. I don't know how the delivery company plans their deliveries but this is rather unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happens to me. Do they really always expect people to stay up until 3am the day after an international flight to get their luggage that was mis-handled by the airline.... I'd rather just drive to the airport myself the next day to get my suitcase myself."

Ulemper: "Poor entertainment offer (no quality movies and not varied options-not classic movies!!). Interactive device menu not working properly or at all. Outraging policy to offer more bookings than available seats that turned out into my wife and me being put in standby when we had purchased our tickets last July. Waiting for 30-40 minutes to claim our baggage to know it had been left in our origin destination in the end so it would probably be delivered 2 days later since the next flight would arrive the following day but late in the evening and more time wasted on the lane to claim for it that caused to miss our connecting train that would take us home and we had to wait for another hour to take the next so we finally got home 2 hours later than expected. We will never use again another company from the one world alliance."

Ulemper: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."
Ulemper: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."

Ulemper: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

Ulemper: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Ulemper: "Told us to get in line for boarding and review our tickets and then made us stand there for 75 minutes before boarding."
