I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Fordeler: "After our trip from Cape Town to Dubai with Emirates which was not that great we where pleasantly surprised when we where bumped up to business class from Dubai to Bangkok. We did not expect this. Although we did not take advantage of all the extras business class has to offer we had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was superb. The cabin crew was excellent all the time. Thank you Emirates."

A380 business cabin has been economy classed to within an inch of its life, too few crew and those that are on duty disorganised and stressed. 777 crew ratio was 3 crew to 1 pax :)"
Ulemper: "Engine noise. Boarding in Dubai was a farce as called to gate even though aircraft was severely delayed inbound. Surly lounge staff didn’t help. Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."
Ulemper: "The connection in Dubai was horrible. The 30 minute bus ride is so ridiculous. It's very difficult to even find the Business Class Lounge. No greeters. No signage. Terrible service. Even pajamas are not provided in Business Class --- unlike on Qatar Airways."

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Passengers gathered around boarding attendant which made getting through zones frustrating. For the amount of money paid, I was hoping for a much better flight."

Any earlier reconnect flights? Any alternative airlines? What is the checkout time of the compensation hotel? Any meal compensation if not staying at their hotel? Etc."

Ulemper: "There was a delay due to technical issues. They had to switch planes, which took a couple hours. But they gave us a free meal at the airport, while we waited. Unfortunately, they immediately fed us lunch after we took off, so it was two quick meals. I guess it is better than too little food."

I don’t like this lines because my flight from Zurich to wasaw was canceled and I spend 8 h in Zurich airpot for nothing

The crew and food were great - the ground crew in Zurich was extremely slow in helping guests.

Swiss Air rescheduled our connecting flight to 7:45 am. Our initial flight didn’t land until 10:20 am. The people at the Swiss Air counter said our flight was canceled. It was not canceled. THANK GOODNESS for United who rescheduled us on a flight the following day. Kayak, I was on hold the night prior to our flight to speak with you about this scheduling nightmare for 2.5 hours before the call was dropped. I did not receive a call back. I am very unhappy with Kayak’s customer service and lack of communication and do not plan to use your business in the future.

The flight attendants did a exceptional job the entire flight providing attentive service.

Ulemper: "Not clear seat bookings cost $35. I was assigned the last row. Extra short width, pitch, couldn't fully recline (A340-300) Terrible food. Super old, tired plane. Crappy in-flight entertainment with non-intuitive controls. Poor air conditioning. I felt like I was stuffed in a cage for 7 hours. Way worse than United domestic."
Fordeler: "Direct connection from San Diego to Zurich. Fresh, crispy and delicious bread on the flight!!"
Ulemper: "The food and service was better than that of American airlines, but no comparison to food and service of any Asian airlines (including Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Japan Airlines, ANA, Korean Airlines). The Edelweiss brand is too much based on outdated stereotypes and Heidiland. Nobody in Switzerland walks around dressed and make-uped like the stewardesses of Edelweiss air."

Fordeler: "By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life. 1. A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters."
Ulemper: "When we finally arrived in Tampa. It hook them an hour and a half to get are bags out. I honestly doubt I'll ever fly Swiss airlines again. Ever. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had flying. Ps the crew on the plain ware a lot nicer and more professional the people on the ground."

The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. This option was never offered to me at check-in."
Ulemper: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."
Fordeler: "I never used Swiss Airline before but my friends told me crews are very professional and clean... She is right!!!Their crews, Foods, and very clean environments.... had a wonderful experiences"

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed, as a result i missed the next flight to Washington DC. My whole schedule was messed up as i had to fly through Chicago. My luggage was lost and i only received it 2 days later. Will file the complaint."

Thai Airways has gone from being great to very mediocre. Nothing special at all any more, but bad food, air hostesses who do not know service and not at all a very convincing return for me to Thai Airways. I prefer other airlines to Bangkok for the future

Ulemper: "NONE of the business class center seats would recline. This meant in order to recline and get some rest, the crew had to dismantle your seat and release the locks manually. This meant the seat was in that position until time to land. So I had to make a choice to sleep or eat, horrible for CX."
Fordeler: "Beautiful, new plane. Amazing, elegant, classy, patient crew. Lot so of nice customer service touches."
Ulemper: "The food could have been a bit more exciting, but it was solid."

Another surprise was the vegan meal I ordered. Airplane food in general is disgusting, but this time the vegan meal was delicious."
Ulemper: "Flying out from JFK is a nightmare, we had to wait for 40 mins on the runway. Not sure if airlines can actually improve that?"

Ulemper: "There was an extra layer of normal security check at the HKG gate 15. The male team leader, probably in '50's, with two bars on his shoulder was extremely rude to the passengers. I was at the front of Economy class when a female Asian passenger walked up in the Business class ilne. He naturally tendered to her first and let her and directing her to a lower security ranking staff t the other side of area. All fine and dandy. But seconds later, a Caucasian male walked u,p indicating that he was with that female Asian, the security guard got real mad, shouted at the Asian woman who by then was some 20 feet away that next time she needed to tell him he was with someone. When it was my turn to go into the secured area, there were to guards available standing side by side, a male and a female. He let me and pointed toward the two guards. I asked him which one, he didn't answer. I asked a second time, "Male or female", he still didn't answer, just pointed his finger toward the two guards. His attitude was totally unacceptable."

Ulemper: "Cancelation process was too poor customer service was also too poor. And high cancellation fee. Customer service representatives did not tell me when I am going get the money back and also weather my ticket is also canceled or not."

Fordeler: "All I can say is the kosher food needs great improvement in taste, quality, verity. I hope the feedback will be seen by a real person that can respond. No robot."

Fordeler: "Everyone that was part of the Cathay Pacific team was so friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and quick to assist me outside the typical meal and drink service times. I flew economy and the seats were fairly comfortable. There were plenty of new films to choose from for entertainment as well."
Ulemper: "There was a long delay when boarding the connecting flight to SGN and there weren't any clear updates on the flight status. I didn't mind the wait so much but I wish they had announced the current status more clearly."
Ulemper: "Flight delay was not announce until boarding time. Such chaos!! at 1:00 AM. Rescheduled the next 24hrs. I was lucky to live within one hour of the airport. Next day, after boarded the plane, had to sit inside plane for 2 1/2 hours until the plane takes off. It was not a good experienced, even though they gave us a voucher for 75.$"

Fordeler: "I flew from NY to Phuket via Cathay Pacific which is a 22 hr flight! The crew was pleasant and friendly and took excellent care of my family and I. I would fly with them again anytime."

Fordeler: "Time Management and guidance. We enjoyed playing on screen. We viewed movie. How we are flying on Google maps. Hospitality is good."

Ulemper: "There were no immigration forms on board. When I asked for one, the hostess said there had been an announcent Mayybe there was one in mandarin but certainly not in english. A senior hostess cam later to apologize zaying the reason was that there were new forns since 1 Dec when leaving the plane, everyone was given old forms! All very unptofessional..."

Ulemper: "Luggage was damage and I didnt notice it till I arrived at connecting airport terminal in manila. Didnt have time to file a claim as I have to rush for my local connecting flight. Hopefully Cathay Pacific can take a late damage claim without a report for my luggage"
