They wanted me to pay for my seat after already spending 1100. Then they said I was randomly selected for a TSA check in Zurich. Seriously. And there was no TSA agent in sight doing the check. It was a Swiss Airline Employee. Never had that happen even in the USA."

No need to go from terminal 3 to terminal 1. total waste of 20-30 minutes. Ironic that this happens to people willing to spend $'s of dollars for convenience and comfort. should be able to purchase upgrade ASAP with a smile at check-in."

Fordeler: "Over all I enjoyed flying with Swiss over the past 40 years. This was a first time my experience was not to my expectation."

Ulemper: "The promotional video for Swiss Air was way too long. Should have a way to bypass it. I understand being forced to watch the safety video but the promotional video is annoying."

Fordeler: "It was an uneventful trip, which is what you want in a trip by air. Boarding was easy, seats are pretty comfortable, staff friendly and helpful."

Ulemper: "There was no climate control. Our rows were freezing cold. People were wearing coats and blankets. Four or five rows up it was warm. My husband asked for more heat and the stewardess said she would turn it up, but nothing happened. Cold air blew out of the ceiling vents for the entire flight. When we reached our gate, we then waited in a long line to have our passports and boarding passes checked again. There were several Swissair crew members, but only one person to check all of the paperwork for economy. Then another long line to show our boarding passes again, while the business class entrance remained unused. Swissair needs someone to manage this better."
Fordeler: "the entertainment system was perfect, there were lots of movies and shows to entertain you, including newly release films. there were games and music also availble. the seating was comfortable we had blankets and pillows. The beverage service great and the food was good to. although there could have been better options in terms of the dessert ( ice cream taht was provided)"
Ulemper: "the boarding was poor, we waited in line to board and they did not announce to us that we need to have our ticket stamped before we got to the door, as a result we were sent out of line once the ticket was stamped we had to rejoin the line from the back. When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

Ulemper: "I wish the dinner service flying from JFK to ZH could be made sooner in the trip to allow more lights out time to relax and try to sleep. I wish all the movies had subtitles so I could read rather than have to deal with the head phones and the bad quality sound they produce."

As I was sitting near the front of economy, any "extra" economy plus meals were handed out as to avoid waste. I was the recipient of a delicious Caprese salad. A nice treat."

And on this flight from Frankfurt to NYC, my bag was lost, making a claim at the Lufthansa baggage dept took a very long time and the clerk said little, explained nothing and seemed annoyed with my questions."

Ulemper: "I booked through Kiwi.com and they couldn't handle my special food request (kosher meal). Somehow it didn't reach Lufthanza at all. As a result I had nothing to eat during the entire transatlantic flight."

Ulemper: "The in-flight wasn't working, so no movies on a nine hour flight."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordeler: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."
Fordeler: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Fordeler: "Fairly nice flight. 7 hours AMS to JFK. They had ice cream cones for us mid flight and an after dinner cognac if you wished."

Ulemper: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Fordeler: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Ulemper: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."
Ulemper: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."
Ulemper: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."
Fordeler: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Ulemper: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."
Ulemper: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us.The food was also mediocre."

Ulemper: "The seats weren’t very comfortable. You could tell the plane was a little dated. There was no WiFi and nowhere to charge your devices."

Ulemper: "Air France should not sell tickets for which the connection flights are almost impossible to catch. My luggage was not transferred to my connecting flight. I had to run to catch the flight to Bucharest. At CDC there were only two custom officers for checking passport of EU citizens, on a Saturday morning with hundreds and hundreds incoming travelers. On top of it, one female officer was rude. Typical french :("

Ulemper: "The food was not heat correctly it was cold and I felt that the crew rush to give out the food. The seats are terrible, if the person in front of you reclines you won’t be able to see the screen if your watching a movie and you will see the top of the persons head."

Ulemper: "We were in the last few rows on a turbulent route. The yaw damper constantly overcorrected, resulting in lots of side to side motion for the passengers"
Fordeler: "Boarding staff helpful with Disabilities; food services quick and pleasant; interior cabin temps appropriate."
Ulemper: "Why is boarding so prolonged? 1-Small children and elders cannot stand for 20/30 minutes 2-Why are various sections (particularly Economy), no longer boarded by rows. and from rear first...so people don’t clog aisles, step over others, injure or be injured by heavy overhead moves?"
Ulemper: "My luggage was lost in Paris. Now I need to wait still."
Fordeler: "From the boarding, to the friendly hostesses to the food and the business class seat, I was impressed all the way. My first time to fly Air France business to the US and it was great. I recommend it!"
Ulemper: "I just expected better toilet bag for business but what was given out was just basic."

Ulemper: "The interface of the screens seemed old Need to anticipate the needs of the customer better For example, they brought me my special meal first, but I had to wait 30 minutes later to get a drink to accompany it. The food was getting old. Did not see any newspaper/periodical selection. That would have been nice."
Ulemper: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."
Ulemper: "1/ the transfer crew needed 50 mn to enter my son’s visa number in her computer and she almost let us miss our flight 2/ we were separated (party of 3, my son being 5 YEARS OLD) - how can they allow a boarding and expecting my 5 year old to do a 10 hours flight BY HIMSELF???? 3/ no kids menus, even if I had ordered it before 4/ food in general was very mediocre 5/ crew was unprofessional and they acted bored"

Ulemper: "flight was delayed by 20 minutes Boarding got me through Sky priority quickly. Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Ulemper: "Boarding process is total chaos Took 40 mins to.check in at desk , pre ordered for wheelchair Never showed ...total zoo Beds advertised as lie flat bu they are NOT 180 degree flat , legs hang down - bad for circulation"
Ulemper: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."
Ulemper: "at no point when buying my ticket did the site say zero bags were included. In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. One bag has always been included in the price of a ticket flying transatlantic."
Ulemper: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."
Fordeler: "Sometimes you get surprised, with this specific flight, we had an excellent young and perfect cabin crew. Thanks, Joon!"
Ulemper: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."
Fordeler: "Service was great, flight was on time and I really enjoyed everything"

Ulemper: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."
Ulemper: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."
Fordeler: "Crew was friendly and professional, fresh croissant and hot chocolate on my short flight. As many airlines charge now for any and all food items it was nice to again experience fast and efficient food and beverage service without the tedious hassle of ordering and paying. I’d gladly fly Air France again. First time, but likely not the last."
Ulemper: "Like all airlines , the seats could use a few more inches of space, even two would be nice."
Ulemper: "Some toilet facilities out of order and some slow service"
Ulemper: "Cramped, no cabin bag space, late departure with no communication and lost checked luggage. Not a great Air France experience."
Fordeler: "The crew was very nice and helpful."
Ulemper: "We ordered a vegetarian meal. However, the vegetarian option offered to those who did not order a special meal looked better than the vegetarian option that we received."
Fordeler: "The check in process was much better in the CFG airport than SFO. Very organized."
Ulemper: "The food was mediocre on this flight. The seats also are surprisingly uncomfortable."
Fordeler: "You can't go wrong with delta when it comes to customer satisfation. It's the primary reason I'm okay with paying extra money for delta flights"

Ulemper: "The audio system is outdated with unreliable touch-screen that makes it frustrating to navigate."
Fordeler: "Crew was friendly and polite, both beverages and an excellent lunch was offered."
Ulemper: "A delay was not ideal but nothing to worry about since the flight arrived on time."
Fordeler: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Ulemper: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."
Fordeler: "Flight was cancelled and had to be rebooked, pushing our travel home back a day. No positives."
Ulemper: "Work around the flight cancellation better to keep people on schedule."
Ulemper: "Boarding was very slow, crew told us there was nothing they could do to speed it up, it plane was late, unfortunately when we arrived in JFk we had to wait about 1 houre to get to the gate."
Fordeler: "The crew was good but this seating was very tight."
Ulemper: "Boarding should be done from the back of the plane to forward which would get rid of the bottle neck when trying to get on. It was not an Iceland plane and there was no entertainment available."

Ulemper: "Boarding via bus just takes forever, get a legitimate jet bridge. Also the airport has about 20 seats at each gate for 80+ passenger planes, leaving a lot of people sitting on the floor."
Fordeler: "The flight took off and landed on time. There were also a lot of good food options on the flight that were not only edible, but also healthy"
Ulemper: "See above"
Ulemper: "The seat bottom cushion was extremely uncomfortable."
Fordeler: "Crew and food was nice If you are a Saga class passenger like my wife and I left something to be desired"
Ulemper: "Boarding procee in Iceland for Saga class means you get called up first to wait in line for bus to plane. There you wait for others to check in the gate. Then you proceed to board the bus. Saga class was with everyone. By the time we got on board waiting to climb the stairs we were soaked from the rain. Our bags were marked priority yet to our dismay it took 20 minutes for our bags to come on the carosill after others started getting there bags. Glad We had those priority stickers as we were clearly in the last of the bunch. 0"
Fordeler: "At least IA has great entertainment system with many movie options."
Ulemper: "Iceland Air has no self baggage check area. It appears that SAS has a monopoly here and handles everything, which means waiting in multiple lines even if you self check and print bag tags at the kiosk. What’s the point if you have to go the service area to check your bags?"
Fordeler: "Plane boarded and left mostly on schedule. The price was pretty incredible, I paid a fraction of what I expected based on previous trips to Europe."
Ulemper: "Arriving in Reykjavik, we needed to bus to the terminal. Weather was fine so it wasn't a big deal, but it involved additional waiting and the buses fill up quickly."
Ulemper: "Boarding at KEF needs to be more organized."
Fordeler: "Pillows and blankets free of charge."
Ulemper: "You had to go through their customs to change plans. Then you had to board a bus to get carried over to your connecting plane. There was not enough time allowed between flights to do that. They did not have enough bathrooms for all the flights coming in at the Iceland airport. Iceland Air is basically a travel agency in an airplane for Iceland. A lot of pushing by the company to stop in Iceland for a few days and buy Iceland products. It was a lot of hassle to cross the Atlantic on Iceland Air, and I will try not to use them again."

Ulemper: "No meal was provided. Captain's announcement was barely heard - poor PA system or he or she did not speak clearly"
Fordeler: "Loved the personalized tv in front of me and plenty of space above me in the middle seats!"
Ulemper: "There were no snacks"
Fordeler: "The beet salad and the bouillabaisse were both excellent. The flight attendants were attentive and helpful. Wide selection of entertainment choices."
Ulemper: "Our connection from Zurich arrived as boarding had begun in Reykjavik. When we arrived at the gate, it looked like business class had already been called, so there was HUGE mob gathered about the gate including small children. An employee worked her way through the crowd randomly checking passports and marking boarding passes. Eventually we made it onto the shuttle which drove us out to the plane. I wouldn't like to fly Icelandair overnight because I wouldn't be able to sleep at all in the business class seats since they don't recline that much."
Fordeler: "Poor communication. Old planes. Late departures and arrivals. And the staff has zero f@;$s to give."
Ulemper: "See above."
Ulemper: "Again, there was no jet bridge to board the plane in Reykjavik. When we arrived in New York, it took 1.5 hours for our bags to arrive on the baggage carousel. That is an absurd amount of time to wait for your bags, especially when the crew's bags were unloaded from the plane within 30 minutes of landing."
Fordeler: "The inflight entertainment was really nice and enjoyed the Iceland layover information. Crew were professional and attentive."
Ulemper: "Felt like a budget airline, so don't expect any free snacks or the ability to carry on large backpacks that you normally could on other airlines."
Fordeler: "Better movies assortment and also TV Cooking newtwork"

Fordeler: "The service was superior. They made sure my younger daughter were occupied and gave a small gift and snack. The movies were great way to pass the time, overall experience were great! We would be a return customer for sure!"

Ulemper: "I felt like it was bumpier than other flights I've been on. I know that's highly subjective and a product of weather but it felt like it was excessive. There wasn't a lot of communication about conditions from the flight crew like I've had on other flights. It took forever to board."

Ulemper: "I think that for a flight of this length, a complimentary meal should have been provided. I had to purchase a meal. While it was satisfactory, I felt that $15.00 was excessive."

Fordeler: "I loved the informative videos about Iceland! I had planned to watch them all, but my video screen stopped working for awhile. I thought about switching seats, but I ended up sharing headphones with my boyfriend and watching some movies instead."
