Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."

After some back and forth we were put on the Skopje flight and arranged our own transportation to Prishtina. We learned later that the evening flight to Prishtina, which we were supposed to be put on originally, was also cancelled. If we didn't insist, we would have had to spend at least 24 hours stuck in Istanbul airport. If you've ever flown through there, you know it's one of the worst airports ever."

Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Mainly because other passengers obviously don't read instructions re: weight/contents of cabin bags etc. Would be helpful if there was additional staff to deal with them away from check in desk. This would mean that others did not have to queue for 25 minutes because the check in girls also had to deal with them"

Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Nobody from the ground staff even asked them to give way for those who are boarding first or announced what zone are they boarding next. Also, i used the mobile app to check in, i am definitely sure i chose an isle seat (you can see it on the seat map during online check in) but i was surprised to see that i got a window seat."

Ulemper: "This flight had the potential to be good as the entertainment and food options were good, but I felt cramped and the volume of the surrounding passengers was awful. There were three crying babies, which I know neither the airline nor the families themselves can control, as well as one child with special needs who was making a lot of noise the whole flight. I wasn't able to sleep at all for that reason. Additionally, I was disappointed that the flight was late and that the deplaning process was so long – we taxied for a long time and there was only one staircase, so we were very late."
Ulemper: "Please add more vegetarian food options"
Fordeler: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."
Ulemper: "I was not told what airline lounge I should use at JFK, but the only regret I had was not being able to take a longer flight..."
Ulemper: "The seats on the 777-333 model in economy class are the WORST I have ever experienced. Extensive neck and back paid from cramped and poorly designed seats. You are going to start losing passengers, including this one who will switch airlines. A glass of wine was so cheap and acidic I found myself running to the bathroom within 15 minutes. The food was horrible. Goodbye Etihad--I can do better."
Ulemper: "Our connection from NYC was missed due to delay in leaving Abu Dhabi. The NYC connection wasn't request to wait for us, maybe five minutes would have been enough. After that, they took no care to book in a latter flight. They assigned unconfirmed tickets, which were not honored in the other terminals. I was able to get a seat in the third flight after, others were still left waiting. It took us longer to get a 1.5 hours connecting flight than to cross the Atlantic."
Fordeler: "Check in in Frankfurt. Black lady. Extremely helpful. Went out of her way. This is the people you need in the front line."
Ulemper: "Terribly old planes. Bad or non existent cabin service. Food not acceptable. Plastic noodle bowls with hot water. !?? Really!!"
Ulemper: "When there is a connecting flight from Domestic to international, Domestic is letting us in without any restrictions on Cabin luggage but in middle of journey in Chicago they have really troubled all the passengers, mainly they haven't checked the baggage's untill we have boarded the flight though everyone is there before 2 hrs of the and i personally asked they if my bags needs any new tags but just before they pulled everyone from the line and screwed us. which is really bad."

Ulemper: "The airline lost my luggage and the claim process is vague. I was told I will be contacted with my claims number at the airport. Thus far I haven't heard anything from the airline. The number given goes straight to voice mail."

Ulemper: "This ar line has no absolute respect for its people. It seems because it is a fight going to India, which apparently it is not an important country they can do anything. The worst gate (I do not know if this is the air line choice or not), there was no line to boarding, there was not enough seat at the gate and one of the people at the gate was insisting that travelers should sit. The crew was rude to the Indian people, however they themselves were not acting properly. The bus came to get the people from the gate to the plane in Abu Dabi was really bad."

And to make it worse, this was the most difficult problem that me and my friends encountered throughout all the flights that we took. We nearly miss this flight as we actually went to the boarding gate that was reflected incorrectly on our boarding pass as stated earlier. There was also an unannounced delay. Flight estimated departure is at 1720HRS, but the flight only took off 1750HRS."

Ulemper: "Mine was a cramped experience in an old airplane, sadly normal for the industry. Food was bad. Entertainment unit was one of those press-the-screen-and-maybe-10-seconds-later-it'll-react types. Crew wasn't very communicative about what each cart rolling down the isle was for. Not a terrible experience, just not particularly good."
Fordeler: "The first and second flight of the four were on time. The food was surprisingly pretty good- probably some of the best airplane food I've had. Not much variety, but still good. One of the four flights had entertainment, and the movies were of good selection."
Ulemper: "Planes poorly taken care of inside. First flight back delayed so long, missed our connection. Ended up having to stay in KL, where the hotel they put us in was an hour away from the airport. No direction, terrible communication. The attendant in Bali lied to me, knowingly. I had to miss a day of work due to this. And this all could have been avoided if they would have held the second plane just 30 more minutes."
