Ulemper: "Enjoy the free money, cause I didn't go on my flight. Work had me cancel my vacation a month ago. I tried to cancel, but it wouldn't let me. I tried cancelling through the insurance I purchased on it and they said they couldn't either (even though cancellation was covered in full)."

Fordeler: "I traveled with my wife and twin sons who turned two last month. It was our first time to fly with the boys, and we were nervous about the flight for this reason. Thanks to ANA's staff both on the ground and in the air, everything went very smoothly. When we arrived at Haneda Airport (around 1:30pm), we went to the Special Assistance counter to get a stroller. The staff was friendly and patient, and didn't rush us at all. (It took a little while to get our things in order.) I was surprised to learn that we could check in from there, drop off our checked luggage and receive boarding passes, as well as an airport stroller. In addition, the boy who was awake at the time received an ANA airplane clip. We didn't get to the gate in time for pre-boarding. I was dismayed to find out that we'd have to take a bus to the aircraft. We had the maximum number of carry-on bags, plus two babies, only one of whom was in a carrier, and we learned that the stroller couldn't go on the bus. A gate agent brought our carry-ons onto the bus. She found priority seats for us and a place nearby to fit a bag that couldn't fit on one of our laps. On board, the cabin attendants were attentive and friendly, and gave toys to the boys. When we arrived at Hagi-Iwami Airport, two of them even carried all of our carry-on bags off the plane for us. (They also helped with our carry-on luggage upon returning to Tokyo. In fact, we had forgotten to reserve a stroller for when we deplaned, and a flight attendant tried to find one near the gate, to no avail.) When I think about all the positive experiences we had in a span of about three and a half hours, I am amazed at all the different people who helped to make our journey easier. I cannot imagine it happening in my home country or on most airlines I have flown."

Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."

Ulemper: "Old plane, some kind of tablet thing with an attached remote almost impossible to figure out even how it works. 7hr flight and I only saw the steward twice."

Ulemper: "They announced everything in English and Arabic and repeated the same announcement multiple times. The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Ulemper: "Once we landed in Doha to board omthe connecting flight, ground staff was waiting right outside the hate to let us know that our flight was overbooked. We were then informed that we were put on the following flight arriving after midnight at our destination. Our compensation was going to be 250 USD and a free entry to the lounge. What a way to start our holidays."

Ulemper: "Late gatw announcement so we waited for quite sometime in front of the electronic board"

Ulemper: "The leg room on this flight felt less generous than other carrier and the food was poor almost inedible. The aircraft (777) seemed much noiser than other aircraft I have flown on and the noise from the toilet flush could be heard 10 rows away"

Ulemper: "I had booked the Amaya lounge for the 3,5 hours stop over. It cost $50+ and was so not worth it! Bad food and uncomfortable chairs plus it was really crowded! Next time I'll just go to a cafe! No seats at the gate when I got there. Slooow boarding!"

Ulemper: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

Ulemper: "They cancelled the booking without telling about that And also they didn't prepare a place for staying The desk manager said the booking cancelled by your company"

Fordeler: "Flight attendants were very courteous and attentive. Comfortable seats and smooth flight. Didn't feel that the flight lasted for 16 hours."
Ulemper: "Food needs to be asked for rather than offered."

Fordeler: "Crew was very uncouth and very foolish. The steward insisted that I sit in a row with another elderly pax, though rows after rows were vacant and social distancing could have been enhanced"

Ulemper: "While boarding the flight from Dubai to Houston, no one announced about family boarding. About a quarter of the flight had boarded before we decided to get in the line ourselves, and they took us in without any questions. It would have been better if an announcement for family boarding was made. The Dubai to Houston crew could have been more friendly and welcoming."

Ulemper: "I found the boarding experience in Dubai to be quite tedious. We were shuffled around here and there and getting on the plane itself was tough."

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "Staff don’t smile! I ask for hot towel the crew didn’t give me any!"

Ulemper: "Seats are so uncomfortable. I'm a young guy, and by the end, my back was hurting. They barely reclined and no leg room. Food was about average."

Fordeler: "Expenting better from the Airline and Airport. Airpor has only 2 lounges at other terminals for passengers flying either Delta or United, Not for Emirstes and no Priority Pass. The service was not as expected, took me more than 25 min to get a flight attendant to reach my seat to request a glass of water... when I went to the back of the plane to get water I was told to get back to my sest since seatbelt sign was on (it happend to be turned on for 12 hrs over a 14hr flight... Other than that service is better, than modt of US airlines. I flight frequently and I have boarded Emirates before, economy and business, I feel that they do not deserve best airline qualification for economy, fir example KLM is much better."
Ulemper: "Attention of Flight Attendants Wait before boarding No major airline alliance or frequent flyer program For pay WIFI a complicated selection in the menu and no runs for extra water or drinks Old headphones not compatible eith other comercialized and used by the rest of the world."

Ulemper: "The seats in business are flat but at an angle; this actuallty makes quite a difference for comfort."

Ulemper: "I was surprised when i got on the plane because i always hear great thinhs about the Emirates airplanes, this one was very low quality airplane, and for a long distance flights the flight must have been a better one."

Ulemper: "Honestly, i cannot think of anything specific except that it was very chilly inside the business class."

Ulemper: "Never had an experience where "pocket book, was weighed. After my carry on was weighed , my personal bag where I had my essentials and medications were included in the total weight of carry ons. I ended up paying for overweight. It was a big surprise for me. I came from NY and your agents approved . I had to pay,or discard."

Fordeler: "This is our first time flying Emirates and we were very happy with the airline's comfort, food & crew. We would definitely fly with them again. They also have checked bags at no additional charge."
Ulemper: "As with every other airline the boarding stinks. Everybody cues up even when their zone is not called because they want first access to the overhead space. I also don't like being charged extra to pick my seats."

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Fordeler: "The FA that served my part of the cabin was polite, friendly, and cheerful."
Ulemper: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."

Ulemper: "Seat cushions are horrible There is no padding. 'All the chairs dirty too. Decor was very old"

Fordeler: "I felt unwell towards the end of the flight. The cabin crew could not have been nicer. Although they were busy they all found time to come and check on me, including the purser. Water and other drinks were given out regularly. They even provided afternoon tea with scones and cream!"

Ulemper: "for diabled people, no one to properly handle disabled, and wheelchair passengers at the door of the terminal upon arrival. Rather we are told to struggle to the wrong locations for check-in and then re-routed to another desk far across the building just to be brought to the original place silly and cruel, isn't it?"

Ulemper: "Too long layover"

Fordeler: "They have several older planes. Horrible entertainment system. Picture quality is very poor. Screen doesn't respond to touch...overrated airline...."

Fordeler: "On time Excellent environment"

Fordeler: "Flights were booked back in May and Emirates did not make major schedule changes"
Ulemper: "Consistently late departures. Did not keep passengers informed about updated departure times. After serving the food, it took more than one hour to take the leftovers away. During the flight from Dubai -Chicago, hot beverages were served 1.5 hours after the food was served. Crew was not friendly at all. During the Chicago-Dubai flight a crew member basically yelled at passengers "open the windows" and I had to tell him to "ask nicely please). Emirates comes nowhere close to Singapore, Thai, or Turkish in terms of service."

Ulemper: "The people at ticket issuing counter is very arrogant. Customs form was not given while issuing ticket and I was sent back to the airline ticketing counter and had to stand back in line for customs."

Fordeler: "Barcelona to Dubai flight - the flight attendants were personable, helpful, and very courteous. In-flight service was frequent with many stops to check on the passengers of a very full flight. Wonderful and attentive service, even when juggling such a large number of passengers. I was very impressed with the work ethic of this crew."
Ulemper: "The flight attendants on the Dubai to Singapore flight were surprisingly unhelpful. It was a mostly empty flight and yet during this flight, there were very infrequent beverage service. When I activated my call flight attendant button, no one stopped by. This included at least 3 different flight attendants passing me, some more than a few times, and not once did anyone stop. After waiting for 10 - 15 minutes, I turned off the light and went to the galley part of the plane, only to find a group of flight attendants socializing. I requested a drink and it was handed to me without the attendant every making eye contact as the attendant still was facing and engaged in their conversation. This is not the first time I have experienced this on an Emirates flight so I think the staff training may need to be reinforced. Business class service on Emirates is quite good. But I fly both Economy and Business class. The experiences in Economy did affect my decision on which airline I generally fly with for business class travel."

Fordeler: "Dubai lounge was superb, excellent crew."
Ulemper: "cramped business class seats. the 2-3-2 seating is disappointing for the price. Boarding announcements were confusing. we were told to be at the gate 30 mins before flight but when we got there 45 mins before they were already displaying final call which was quite stressful."

Ulemper: "It was too cold and the blanket was too light"

Ulemper: "Last minute surprise with re-routing to Chicago. Few options provided on Changed booking."

Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."

Fordeler: "Excellent cabin crew, food and diverse entertainment."

Ulemper: "Previous flight cancelled due to weather conditions, and despite calling and having a lot of flexibility with time, we were unable to reschedule without massive charges. Our refund was quite low, and we will rebook on another airline. This, despite being a TK gold card member."

Ulemper: "It was very hot on the plane."

Fordeler: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."

Fordeler: "It's an international flight and they don't offer other food alternatives."

Ulemper: "I made request by the phone, for service animal. They told me to call back after 24h!!! After 5 days of waiting, more than 50 calls to customer "support " that barely speak English, I was forced to go to "Airport " to chek what is the problem with my request. Over there they helped me, and everything was fine after that. But this is RIDICULOUS, that I need to go to f... airport to solv the problem. Never ever turkish!!!!!!"

Ulemper: "The plane left late I almost lost my next plane to Los Angeles a good thing the next plane was late so I make it"

Ulemper: "Very good"

Fordeler: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."

Fordeler: "THENK YOU!"

Fordeler: "Crew was excellent: very attentive and polite. The food was actually good (and free), as were the beverages. The movie selection was much better than average, as well."
Ulemper: "Many passengers were extremely high-maintenance, but that's not necessarily the airline's fault."

Ulemper: "My lock on my checked luggage was broken and things were stolen, it is quite unfortunate not to be able to thrust an airline with one's personal items."

Ulemper: "Crew not very friendly"

Fordeler: "We were pleasantly surprised when we received a full box of snacks on our short flight from Zagreb to Instabul. The trip was comfortable and we enjoyed that there was a movie available overhead and they provided headphones for. Overall, it was a fine experience."
Ulemper: "Service was fine until our water bottle (which we thought was empty) leaked a bit in the overhead compartment and the female crewmember was incredibly rude and gave the most disgusted look when we claimed the bag that had a small leak of water (about a tablespoon). She also whispered something in Turkish to fellow crewmembers and they all laughed. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. We also were left in the bus on the tarmac for 10 minutes before we could board without any notification of what was going on."

Fordeler: "Really an excellent experience again, great crew, great flight."

Ulemper: "I was sat right in the middle of 10 children while people all around me had empty seats next to them. They could lay down and sleep while I got elbowed for 9 hours by a 10 year old."

Ulemper: "The plane was extremely old and in poor repair. The seats were extremely close together. The inflight entertainment system, wifi and passenger electric outlets were all non-functional. Even the wastebin in the lavatory was full and an extra bag was put on the floor."

Fordeler: "Friendly staff, great service on board. Way better value and service compared to the tacky Irish competition flying the route. Delta all the way"

Fordeler: "We got to Amsterdam on time"
Ulemper: "1. Paying for the seats we chose...that will never happen again...I'll fly another airline first. 2. The food was terrible. I have flown KLM for years, this was not what I expected. 3. The plane was very dirty"

Ulemper: "None of our 4 checked bags arrived with us. This was despite ample connection time (2+ hours) in Amsterdam."

Fordeler: "NOTHING"
Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed, landing at vce took an additional 10 minutes due to no one at the jet way. Luggage service was very slow"

Fordeler: "Face recognition was amazing"

Fordeler: "Flying with KLM is a pleasure"

Ulemper: "It would be helpful for short people to be able to adjust the head rest lower on the seat. More recent released movies would be helpful. More leg room. Not charging more money to choose seats."

Fordeler: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Fordeler: "Everything is top notch for an airline company."
Ulemper: "Nothing.... I enjoyed every moment of the flight."

Fordeler: "Arrived Early!"

Fordeler: "He missed it due to having a 32 minute layover, which he ran all the way to board."
Ulemper: "he had no choice but to look at the closed door of his flight, and wait an additional 7 hours and they didn't even give him a voucher for food. I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Ulemper: "Again, no aisle seat for SkyTeam Gold member. Also, my baggage was lost. First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here."

Fordeler: "The flight attendants could not do enough for you."
Ulemper: "Business class was pretty empty but again I was not allowed to change my seat selection online. Pathetic check-in."

Ulemper: "Two hours delay in the start."

Fordeler: "I was pleasantly surprised they had a snack service on such a short flight. The flight attendants were very friendly"
Ulemper: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"

Ulemper: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Ulemper: "Service"

Fordeler: "Easy airport business"

Fordeler: "Crew was friendly, and the food was better than the usual KLM fare."
Ulemper: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."

Fordeler: "Flight attendants tried their best given what they had to work with."
Ulemper: "They can not retire these old Boeing 747's soon enough. Due to mechanical problems, our flight arrived at LAXfour and a half hours late and further problems with the cargo door caused an additional one hour delay of our take off."
