Ulemper: "I didn't realized we were on a code share flight from Seoul to Hanoi until we got to check in counter and they couldn't issue boarding pass even though it was a through check in for till Hanoi. In our booking itinerary it was printed as Korean air with a small print that said operated by jinair. It wasn't so bad but the hassle of going to another terminal to board and being in a smaller aircraft after a long flight wasn't the best."

I have a bad left hip and was in pain the whole flight because all I could do is keep my left leg in one position. If these boxes are necessary then get those seats more space so it will not be a problem. Put new Monitor screens into the seats."

Ulemper: "I don't like the fact that KE charges the 3rd baggage (excess baggage) US$200 for only up to 23kgs. Anything beyond that is additional $100 for only up to 32kgs. another $100 beyond 32kgs. I will state for a fact that Cathay Pacific only charges US$150 for the 3rd baggage and is already up to 32kgs. Perhaps this is something KE would like to look into. In spite of Cathay Pacific's excess baggage rates, they have a smaller leg room in the economy class."

The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy"
Ulemper: "The small seats are squishy on the older planes. The entertainment system on the older planes were dated and difficult to use. I felt sick after the flight to UK but felt fine coming home after one long flight on a newer plane."
Ulemper: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Ulemper: "I don't see the point in giving out menus for economy class, especially as it's only a choice of 2 meals and one of them wasn't available anyway. It's a waste of paper."
Ulemper: "The seat's recline button was broken which meant having to sit for 12+ hours upright. Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

In the end she did help but i did not appreciate her attitude and felt disappointed my whole flight."

Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Ulemper: "The problem is when they linked a flights frome other airlines companies. Under ( one world ) On this flight the were linked with sirlankian airlines The flight was full and a lot of older asian on flight they don’t respect people and speak loudly The smell was not good enough"

Fordeler: "Flight was without any hitches, could have done better with boarding after the previous mishap of a 5 hour delayed flight and being forced to stay in Doha for a night which put everyone's schedules off by a day. Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."
Ulemper: "It would have been nice if Qatar Airlines also provided Priority Boarding for everyone on the flight that got delayed as there was a long line just to get to the boarding area."

Ulemper: "What a terrible flight. There was absolutely no leg room. I'm 180cm but I imagine Qatar airlines have taller passengers. I understand they are trying to squeeze as much money out of their flights as possible but it was to the point of such severe discomfort that my right knee still hurts half a week later. The reason that it hurts so much is that there was a post through the right half of the leg room under my seat, which was already super limited to begin with. DO NOT GET A WINDOW SEAT, WHATEVER YOU DO. It was a 7 hour flight and I was SO MUCH PAIN. Horrific. The flight staff was rude. I will never fly Qatar again under ANY circumstances. I would rather travel months by boat, or even walk for years on end then go through that 7 hour experience. Qatar's cheapness lost them a customer!"
Ulemper: "I had booked the Amaya lounge for the 3,5 hours stop over. It cost $50+ and was so not worth it! Bad food and uncomfortable chairs plus it was really crowded! Next time I'll just go to a cafe! No seats at the gate when I got there. Slooow boarding!"

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."
Ulemper: "Staff don’t smile! I ask for hot towel the crew didn’t give me any!"

Ulemper: "Seats are so uncomfortable. I'm a young guy, and by the end, my back was hurting. They barely reclined and no leg room. Food was about average."
Fordeler: "The cabin’s atmosphere was great, food was on time i think and food and drinks were overflowing and tasted great."
Ulemper: "My LCD screen had a problem as i noticed that it was just mine that was having this blurring part like every 5 minutes so it was disrupting my concentration on the movie."

Ulemper: "The boarding gate space was quite small and there was no separate queue for business. So you literally had to push through people who were already in the queue to board as a business class. There was no space to go around."

Ulemper: "I was surprised when i got on the plane because i always hear great thinhs about the Emirates airplanes, this one was very low quality airplane, and for a long distance flights the flight must have been a better one."

Ulemper: "Never had an experience where "pocket book, was weighed. After my carry on was weighed , my personal bag where I had my essentials and medications were included in the total weight of carry ons. I ended up paying for overweight. It was a big surprise for me. I came from NY and your agents approved . I had to pay,or discard."
Fordeler: "I wish they have feet rest as in Saudi Airlines, to left the feet little pet & it will reflect positively on the back and spinal (more comfort for the back) Everything else was awesome"

Fordeler: "In flight entertainment was suoerb and even had live TV."
Ulemper: "Food was not good"
Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."
Fordeler: "The FA that served my part of the cabin was polite, friendly, and cheerful."
Ulemper: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."
Ulemper: "Honestly nothing perfect Airline Definitely I will use the Emirate at airline again and again"

Ulemper: "It seems to me that the flights to India are a little more cramped than the ones from the West to Dubai."

Ulemper: "I lost TV signal a few times and therefore wasn't able to watch the games I was interested in. But I understand this is beyond your control at times but the whole system would benefit from an upgrade. The touch screen sometimes takes a while to respond so making the process a little tedious."

Fordeler: "Wow totally worth it. I'm now spoiled by how fantastic this airline is. Entertainment, service, food, and comfort. If emirates is flying to my destination I will for sure use them."
Fordeler: "Dubai lounge was superb, excellent crew."
Ulemper: "cramped business class seats. the 2-3-2 seating is disappointing for the price. Boarding announcements were confusing. we were told to be at the gate 30 mins before flight but when we got there 45 mins before they were already displaying final call which was quite stressful."
Ulemper: "Can you enforce the team NOT to throw the luggage to keep on the belt(s) as you guys don't have to."

Ulemper: "I booked 2 tickets way over 6 months in advance for our honey moon and they did not sit us together on our 8 hr flight to milan. I always hear how people get complimentary upgrades in such a situation. Apparently not for us."
Fordeler: "Food was good in quality an quantity. Drink selection was also good, especially alcoholic drinks. Moves were okay, television selection was okay. I was a bit underwhelmed with the new movie selection."
Ulemper: "Wonderful service / airline"
Fordeler: "A great flight with friendly staff, comfy seats, good food, and great inflight entertainment."
Ulemper: "The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate."

After I clear up with him, he started gossiping with his colleague as it was my fault for not comprehending his English. How did Cathay Pacific become this way?"

Fordeler: "Our flight was delayed 45 in Chicago due to ice on the wings. Then about 10 mins of holding to land. With a 90 min lay over, unboarding and reboarding was rushed......but Cathay and security did their best I feel, It was only a 90 min flight and I didn't eat or watch a movie."
Ulemper: "Again, being 6-4, I struggle with comfort and after having no time to rest while switching planes, I was exhausted when I arrived in Manila."

I don’t really eat beef so I chose pasta, but the pasta was not substantial because it was just pasta noodles and sauce- no veges or anything with it. So I ate some cup noodles but that’s also more carbs. So no protein was available for my diet."
Ulemper: "Flight was late. I understand that there could be unexpected problems. But please do not say that due to 'operational reasons'. Sounds like BS. Tell us he actual reason. Arrived late, engine problems, passenger missing, etc."
Fordeler: "Absolutely nothing"
Ulemper: "That they continuously made mistakes and wasted my time and money. Let alone no sleep and carrying everything to 3 different terminals not completing my trip on any of them. Now I’m spending Valentine’s Day alone in a hotel in Hong Kong instead of meeting my gfs family and sleeping with her the first time in Manila."

Fordeler: "The airplane was nice and clean"
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed. Boarding was slow. We had to wait for connecting passsangers. Delay ruined the experience. We didn’t leave in a timely manner. Flight crew was nice. There was a male crew member from LAX to Hong Kong, I could heard talking to the other crew members and he was using profanity. Nothing aggressive but not professional in my opinion. He used profanity in telling his story."

Fordeler: "The overhead compartments are a good size. The staff was friendly. There was decent legroom in front of the seats. The food was more flavorful than most airlines."
Ulemper: "In Hong Kong there was an additional security checkpoint set up at the gate. I had to throw away all liquids I purchased. Usually, once you've cleared customs and security checkpoints you can buy food and liquids within the airport and board the flight. Not sure if this was an airport thing or an airline thing. Either way it was highly inconvenient and annoying"

Ulemper: "I remember Cathay pacific having nice planes, but I guess things have changed. Plane, bathrooms, everything was downright dirty. Basically the only thing Cathay Pacific has going for it is direct LAX to HK, but that's it. I will try to avoid Cathay in the future"

Ulemper: "All the adverts on Premium Economy with Cathay Pacific are inaccurate. It is NOT your secluded compartment. The curtain to economy is ALWAYS kept open...NO privacy. Food is EXACTLY SAME as economy. In LAX had to REMIND them that Premium Economy has priority boarding. There is no champagne on arrival at your seat...you have to ASK for it. Crew is always HURRIED. When you ask for a beverage or a snack, hostess and stewards have ATTITUDE. it's like they are doing a big FAVOR. Really??? we spent lots of EXTRA MONEY to be in this class. Restroom was difficult to access. Overall MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT"

Ulemper: "I expected dinner but got a pie with water. My IFE system acted up a little. Programmes were not great."
Ulemper: "Luggage was damage and I didnt notice it till I arrived at connecting airport terminal in manila. Didnt have time to file a claim as I have to rush for my local connecting flight. Hopefully Cathay Pacific can take a late damage claim without a report for my luggage"
Fordeler: "Quick boarding and very polite crew"
Ulemper: "The only issue was 30 minutes waiting in HK to take off and 30 mins circling Manila waiting to land....... both of which were neither an issue with CP."

Ulemper: "We were all supoosed to sit together (there were 3 of us) but my sister got separated at the last minute and put on a center seat elsewhere with no explanation."
