Fordeler: "It was my first time flying with Turkish airlines. I was surprised that economy class was treated like first class in other airlines. I felt like a queen! The food was just unbelievably good (usually I'm not excited about food on planes). I can't imagine what experience you get in actual first class then. Great job! Please, never change it!"
Ulemper: "The boarding starts an hour before departure. It's overkill. But if it makes you do your job the way you do, that's awesome."

Ulemper: "Stop over in Istanbul, flight to US. Had to go again through security with not enough staff, stood around 40min in a messy line with no air-conditioning or water to go thorough security again. There were elderly people having to do the same. Later, after landing, there was no parking for the airplane, so after 10 hours flight we we're held for 25 minutes inside the airplane. New regulations will make me reconsider using Turkish airline for US bound flights, although it's a great company, unless they find a more comfortable and organized way to do the security check."
Ulemper: "They moved the time up without prior notice. I could have lost the flight. They checked my bag in Antalya via Istanbul to Naples. When arrived in Naples no luggage. After long wait was told it is held in security in Istanbul. They should have not boarded me if they had problem with the luggage or at least they should have told me in Istanbul not after arriving at destination and have to search for an answer. Extremely poor airline and will never fly with them again."
Fordeler: "Better food and service than other airlines on which I've traveled recently. Loading passengers was disciplined and speedy. Staff very helpful. Istanbul airport is great for a long wait. If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."
Fordeler: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."

Fordeler: "I like the fact that for almost 11 hours I was fed, entertained, and was able to rest. The flight crew was very hospitable and I would very much recommend it to others. The price was also very reasonable, unlike United or some other major carriers. It says something about your airline when I decide to fly through Istanbul, coming from Rome, to go back to the US. It's a longer flight but it's a worthwhile one. Thank you and keep up the good work."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."
Fordeler: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

Ulemper: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"
Fordeler: "good service in spite of rather crammed conditions and short flight, UK newspaper was available, plenty of leg room (biz class consisting of one row in the front:))) - the lucky 4 in that 1st row were the only ones to get food, and also drink for free, it seems... and yes, the flight was short and otherwise uneventful, I was the 1st to walk off the plane."
Ulemper: "The plane was a tiny oldish commuter jet with 2 seats on each side of the aisle. In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

Ulemper: "I have never used this airline before and as it was highly rated, I was glad to give it a try. The seats were crammed together very tightly, even for me, a short person! So, the flight was uncomfortable. Then the food was poor. The selection of films was uninspired. The service was indifferent, disinterested, ungenerous. There was something meager, miserly in the whole experience. They are obviously maximizing profits at the expense of the customer, who seems totally disregarded. I would not choose this airline again!"
Ulemper: "On a 4 hour flight, food had to be purchased on board or (as I later learned) purchased and ordered in advance and this option was not offered to me in check in process."
Fordeler: "Plane was clean and overall the service was good. The new terminal and gate at Helsinki are very nice."
Ulemper: "Boarding was disorganized and chaotic. The seats could have been more comfortable for a tall person. Finnair also likes to nickel and dime."

Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."
Fordeler: "Hot towels distributed before meal."
Ulemper: "Sitting behind me plus the seat across from that in center was an adult with two children going to summer camp in US. There were 40 kids and several counselors on this flight. These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."
Ulemper: "The entertainment kept shutting off, and the crew had to reset it about 5 times. They were very apologetic, and kept trying until finally getting it fixed."

Ulemper: "Poor boarding, delay caused us to miss connecting flight, new flight plan did not have enough time to pass though customers, bag not delivered to final destination. In office now trying to locate."

Fordeler: "HiFly is awful. Terrible food. Really not much service. It gets you from point A to B ..... but not always. Our return flight was cancelled with no reason given. Instead of a 2pm direct we were put on an 8am with a layover. The only saving grace is that our transatlantic was on Delta, which was amazing."

Ulemper: "Huge lines at the airport for check in and drop off of lugagges. Apparently finnair hasn't heard yet of automatic check in and drop off. After that long wait for boarding and flight delayed. Very little information."
Fordeler: "The option of having a direct flight between Helsinki and Miami. The plane was clean and the seats comfortable."
Ulemper: "The flight was 1 1/2 hrs late!!!! This seems to be a regular pattern from what I understand from others who have travelled the same itinerary. Not good if this becomes your reputation. The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"
Fordeler: "Clean, well-designed, individual screens with numerous good movie choices. They came through on our special meals, friendly flight attendants. Also loved Helsinki airport. Not crowded, nice staff. Good food choices. Even passport control was friendly and there was no line."
Ulemper: "Connecting through Helsinki added hours to our travel time, but after flying American nonstop JFK to Paris on way over, may be worth it. American flight didn't even have individuals screens and blankets left fuzz all over my clothing."
Ulemper: "Another upgrade charge, no extra leg room but a seat "near the front" (row 8). NO entertainment system. Only food service was on-board bistro, which sadly I slept through because I was exhausted from getting absolutely no sleep on their crummy transatlantic flight... There are no 'zeroes' to give, so can only give a 1 star poor rating on food, entertainment and comfort. Crew, again, tried in the face of a crummy airline."

Ulemper: "I haven't heard good things about American Airlines, and now I know why. Probably the oldest plane in the fleet. Entertainment was 2-3 fold down screens from the ceiling. I can't remember the last time I flew on a transatlantic fight with no entertainment- nearly 20 years ago I'm sure. Airplane food is never great, but food options were worse than normal. American Airlines customer service at JFK was horrendous, resulting in several passengers missing their flight. (I was there if 4 hours to spare, but had to wait 1hr+ to have my birthdate changed in the system.)"

Ulemper: "Trying to get through airport security was an unorganized clown show with them herding groups of passengers back and forth between airport terminals resulting in many people almost missing their flights because the lines just weren't moving. Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Ulemper: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."
Fordeler: "I've never been on a flight with such narrow seat and thin cushion. There was no entertainment offered for the almost 4 hour flight. There was no means of charging any electronic gears. The airplane seems to be 30 years behind time. Crew was unfriendly and smiling faces are not part of the uniform."

Ulemper: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"
Ulemper: "The food was cold. We were served about 40 minutes after most of the plane got their food. The overhead compartments kept opening by themselves through out the flight. Food was horrible."

Ulemper: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."
Fordeler: "The boarding process was smooth and the crew friendly. Flight ran on time."
Ulemper: "Unloading the baggage took over 90 minutes, and there was no explanation for the delay and nobody from Air France in sight on the ground in Boston."
Fordeler: "Seats were comfortable, but the sliding action, instead of recline, took getting used to. Food was very good. Snacks available on demand, along with drinks. Complimentary wine with meal was also quite good. Entertainment system was first rate with plenty of options for TV. movies, music, games, etc..."
Ulemper: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

Ulemper: "There was a delay due to technical dificulties in previous flight. This caused a delay in take off and no AC while waiting in the plane for 40 minutes."

Fordeler: "The lounge is great, however the food is substandard to nearly every other lounge that I have used."

Ulemper: "The plane to bangkok from Abu Dhabiis a bean tin cram as many on as you can . the seat sent my backside to sleep for 3 days and my ankles and legs are badly swollen. disappointed and not looking forward to return flights"
Fordeler: "We were lucky to get the last row where there are just 2 seats."
Ulemper: "Width and depth of seats - very small. I especially noticed the depth - very narrow. As usual bearly room between row in front. The food was very average. I ordered Asian vegetarian and got 3 meals almost identical. For dessert I also got a piece of melon and 2 cubes of pineapple 3 times. The bread roll was stale at best. Unfortunately on the long 13 hr leg we had a male staff member who wasn’t happy in his job and basically grunted at the passengers...He was also clearing the food trays and was very rough with it and I wore a container of somebody else’s custard all over me (luckily I had a blanket wrapped around Mel). He was more annoyed that zig also got the bottom of his trousers and shoes."

Ulemper: "Seat was horrible. We suffered for 14 long hours. Our seat was next to the cooler and there was continuos noise. We could not sleep as wink and I was with 2 small kids. I booked ethiad for a good experience and suffered a lot. Never again."

Ulemper: "The seat layout wasnt good. In a Boeing 777-300ER generaly the seat layout is 3-3-3 in a row, where as in etihad aircraft it was 3-4-3 in the economy. Th seat was very congested for a long haul flight."

Ulemper: "I checked in at Hyderabad and the check in staff were more than unprofessional. First they said my carry on bag and laptop bag should be no more than 7 kgs which was wrong. Later when I asked them to show the baggage restrictions, they went back saying it's okay. I had only 1 check in bag and it weight 1 kg more. I thought they would allow it since I had only 1 check in bag but they made me take out that extra kg and check in my carry on as second bag. Finally I asked for an aisle seat and they said the flight was full. But when I boarded the IAD flight I was rather surprised to see quite a few aisle and window seats. So rather than being a great experience, I would say it was a mediocre one because of the Hyderabad staff."
Fordeler: "I wish I could remember the fight attendant’s name - she was probably the best flight attendant I’ve ever had"
Ulemper: "Plane was very crowded as compared to the A380 I flew over on. also the meal services on the Trip over was much better than this return flight"

Fordeler: "Never flying with Etihad before, but it really impressed me with its roomy aircraft, friendly crew, well-rounded and creative e-entertainment and fine food for its amazingly affordable price. I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"
Ulemper: "Flight attendants in the economy class could be more attentive and walk around more frequently to check up passengers needs and passing out waters. Need more care to the food sanitation especially open water because I had later diarrhea after drinking it. Could be more organized for lining up different seating zones onto the flight, also seat arrangement is a bit off because bothe times I was asked to switch seats for couples and families w kids."

Ulemper: "Abu Dhabi airport is poorly designed, crowded and confusing. For some bizarre reason, we had to exit the boarding area (we had arrived very early), and then re-enter at the end of a VERY long line, then dispose of the water we had bought AFTER we had already gone through one set of security checks, to have another bag search inside the boarding area. (???) For a 14 hour flight, you might expect a bit more in the line of amenities (like the Singapore Airlines pamper kit). It’s also nice to know on a long haul what you might be eating (a la Singapore Airlines menu card), but not on Etihad. Also the movies on offer through the entertainment system were a bit stale and dated. They also had no arrivals cards in English, and finding them at Sydney Airport is a nightmare. (Why do we still do the stupid things, anyway?) Then, to top it all off, after a tiring flight, Sydney Airport put on their best demonstration of appalling and confusing crowd control at the baggage carousels and getting through customs. Used to think Etihad was a quality experience, but it doesn’t seem so any more."

Ulemper: "They only had two choices of food: either vegetarian or chicken. The number of dishes were small as well. The “salad” was horrible."

Ulemper: "Everything Flight attendant was very rude did not serve with any courtesy She took away my food plate while I was still eating!! without even asking g me if she could take it away. Did not serve me the full course of the meal ! This is the service they provided me in Business Class! Please teach your flight attendants proper etiquette towards its passengers the paying customers! I am very unhappy with the overall service!!"

Add to the fact that I have an early meeting tomorrow and I don't know what time my luggage will arrive."
Ulemper: "Our connection from NYC was missed due to delay in leaving Abu Dhabi. The NYC connection wasn't request to wait for us, maybe five minutes would have been enough. After that, they took no care to book in a latter flight. They assigned unconfirmed tickets, which were not honored in the other terminals. I was able to get a seat in the third flight after, others were still left waiting. It took us longer to get a 1.5 hours connecting flight than to cross the Atlantic."

Ulemper: "My bags didn't make it. I had to sit away from my husband as someone had sat in his seat and clearly wasn't going to move. You now have to pay to get an exit row like budget airlines and I had to go two days without my bag. Total nightmare. Then I couldn't recheck in to change seAts online. Food was disgusting."
Fordeler: "entertainment helped me forget the hell i was in"
Ulemper: "1. seats - they have done an excellent job of cramping as many seats as possible with minimal leg space 2. food - smelly distasteful and disgusting. i think that sums it up 3. staff - unfriendly, there was a attending guy who thought he owns the airline and behaving as if everyone on the flight was his slave. bottom line - my first and last flight with etihad - i'll pay few hundred bucks more and take another airline next time"

Ulemper: "TERRIBLE time management!! Missed the connecting flight by a few minutes and didn't get a connecting flight for 7 hours thereafter! There was absolutely time for us customers (who landed just 20 min later than expected) to make the connecting flight but we were told it was "too late" to board the other plane. This is extremely inconvenient! I got back to SFO 14 hours after the expected time! WHY don't you guys manage your connections better?? I am never flying Etihad again!"

Fordeler: "Sichuan Chicken was the best airline food i have ever eaten in an airline. it was quite impressive. Might be too spicy for a lot of people but i love it. I would advise that you add "spicy" next to the name for those who can't handle spicy food."
Ulemper: "Since i was travelling alone, it was asked to change my seat from an aisle seat to a fairly packed seat in the middle of the plane. i did them a favor because a son wanted to sit next to his dad. i really shouldn't have change. the seat was very cramped. like wow, the plane was small. i do not think i would do it again. ever."

Ulemper: "Entertainment is not available until 10 mins after take off and it gets cut off 10 mins before landing...."
