Fordeler: "Love flying Turkish, usually they’re very welcoming on the plane and flight attendants are friendly. Seats convert into a lay flat bed which is comfortable. i would say that the appetizers are usually excellent but the main dishes fall a bit behind. Amenity kit is pretty good."
Ulemper: "Boarding is a problem and I expect it’s a problem everyday. One has to go through many additional checks to board a NY bound flight which is understood but the gates can’t sccomod a full 777 flight. It gets hot really fast, definitely what you don’t need before a long flight. Group boarding is enforced but people will still try to wiggle into the priority boarding line. On another note I have had a similar flight on the A330 and the boarding process was smooth (organized)."
Ulemper: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."
Fordeler: "I had a very good experience with Turkish Airllines! crew was very friendly and excellent."

Ulemper: "Flights were delayed for 24 hours!!!! Do not take this airlines. Inside the airport they can't even speak English. They are rude and raciest. No wheelchair were provided for the old people."

I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"

Ulemper: "There was a "skip" or interruption in the movies. I could follow them, but the system needs to be adjusted a bit. Overall very good. Oddly, the foot rest, in the upright position, bumped into my shins and made stretching my legs a bit uncomfortable. And I'm average height (5' 10")."
Fordeler: "The comfort of the seats, entertainment, & food were great as always. The only Turkish Airlines flight I had during this trip that was not delayed, however needed to be due to the previous flight. The crew did hold the flight for all of us from the delayed flight from Athens."
Ulemper: "An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs."
Fordeler: "Great crew. Super nice to our 4 year old daughter. They were quick, extra polite and efficient. I'm usually quite picky but this leg was perfect."

Ulemper: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."

Ulemper: "The "Pasta-cheeze" meal on TK 31 was horribly bland, reminded me of the gruesome meals I had on United Airlines. I was totally shocked, because all other meals were excellent."

If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."

Ulemper: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."

The crew was friendly, the service good, the food very good and the entertainment excellent. All my flights left on time and arrive on time or earlier. The airplane, an Airbus 300, was new and comfortable."
Ulemper: "The boarding process at Istanbul was a bit chaotic but the flight left on time. I guess the airport personnel knew what they were doing. Istanbul airport is big and modern. There a lot of nice shops, including Duty Free. One annoying thing was the large number of airport employees using these motorized transports, I.e. wheelchairs, bipeds, tricycles, etc, going at high speed. If you don't get out of their way they will run you over!"

Ulemper: "I hate that KAYAK sells me this package and after collecting their commission the only customer support is to direct me to subcontractors which in turn direct me to the airline which in turn NEVER PICKS THEIR F*CKING PHONES UP!!! BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE #NEVEREVERKAYAK"
Fordeler: "Service from the flight attendants were fantastic. The food was delicious and the entertainment included plenty of movie options. I'm also glad that my bags were never lost throughout all of my flights this summer on Turkish Airlines."
Ulemper: "I know seats in the 777-300 recline but do not disrupt the next row's space. That was not the case on the Airbus A330-300. It would be nice if the same seats were on the Airbus aircraft I flew from Istanbul to Bangkok."

Ulemper: "after the ooup d'tout there was a period of chaos and i had to stand in line for 11.5 hours straight to get a new flight boarding pass.l They could have maybe come up with a different system for this considering the 2 or 3,000 people who had their flights canceled. that was incredibly unpleasant...herded in like cattle for 12 hours with i don't know how many thousands of people trying to get a flight out. It was like being in a refuge camp."

Ulemper: "The seats area are too small my knees hurt as they hit just the edge of the food tray, impossible flight with the seat other than straight as you will be disturbing a lot the other passengers, although unfortunately some people do not care about the confort of the others"

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2 hours due to bad weather. Additional baggage payment to Air Baltic did not show up on the KLM system and we had to pay again. Nowhere to address this with Air Baltic even in Tallin. Handlers seem uninterested and refer us to ‘the website to address the issue.....’"
Fordeler: "Seat 39A did not recline. The gentleman next to me spread his arms out a bit as he typed on his computer the entire way. So I did not get ANY sleep. Plus he got up at least four times."

Ulemper: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Ulemper: "... ear plugs, masks, good food or even picking seats? I remember when it was all complementary and standard on overnight flights. Oh, and the vegetarian breakfast was unfortunately poor as well. I know you can do better, because you used to."

Ulemper: "Has to wait in confined area fir nearly 2 hrs before boarding. No restroom or refreshments within that area."

Ulemper: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."
Fordeler: "From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew."
Ulemper: "The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!"

Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

Ulemper: "my only complaint is the USB ports didn't work on any of the chairs that me and my family where assigned to."
Fordeler: "For an 8 hr flight...multiple snacks, 2 meals and continuous beverage service. Blanket, pillow amd movies."
Ulemper: "Watched flight attendant drop tongs on floor, pick them up and put them back in the bowl of buns and continue to use them to serve bums"
Ulemper: "Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

Ulemper: "hadde sete 3C rett bak economy plus der satt det bare 2-3 mennesker men jeg fikk ikke lov å bruke toallette fremme på tross av at der var serveringsvogn som blokkerte midtgangen, helt uforståelig!"

Boarding was delayed for no reason. Bags took (no exaggeration) about 1.5 hours to come. And it is a hot mess with no carts"
Fordeler: "The fact that I was not able to fly due to ethiad trying to make extra money was something I will Never forget"
Ulemper: "No airline has ever treated me this poorly. I hope this never happens ever again to anyone"
Fordeler: "they are quiet but not as roomy as i hoped. The food was okay.prices in Abu dhabi are extortionate though for a 5 hr stop."
Ulemper: "The plane to bangkok from Abu Dhabiis a bean tin cram as many on as you can . the seat sent my backside to sleep for 3 days and my ankles and legs are badly swollen. disappointed and not looking forward to return flights"

Ulemper: "- Very noisy and old airplane - Since it's old, the legroom in economy was poor and the business class was looking like it was built in the 80s. It was really cramped even in the business class - If you bring your own headphones, make sure they're noise cancelling since it's noisy on the plane - And if you bring your own headphones, you need those old 2 pin style connectors as well. The ones that Ethiad give you are super low quality. - Screen resolution on those screens is really bad, you can view every pixel on the screen and brightness doesn't go all the way up either."

Ulemper: "There was a medical emergency on board, so bathrooms did not get the necessary attention. Had to ask for toilet paper for two different bathrooms. Transferring to this flight as a NIGHTMARE. The boarding gate was a long way from the arrival gate. Went through an endless maze. Went through two security check points. At both check points I was sent for pat down. At the first there were five other women who were waiting for pat down. All white women. Discrimination???? At the second security, I had not even passed through the detector and the officer was waving me to get a pat down. At that point I started laughing. Next automated preclearance for immigration, then had to wait in line to talk to immigration officer. It is a miracle that I made it to the flight on time. Passport and boarding pass checked minimum of 6 times in this process. On arrival in Los Angeles, there was a bus ride to the terminal for luggage pick up. My husband was at the terminal I normally come to, I had no way to contact him (Indian sim), no change for pay phone. A fellow passenger was merciful and let me use her phone send husband messages and eventually we met up. I would not use Eithad for India to USA for this reason only. The security and immigration preclearance sucks."

Ulemper: "Entertainment was dreadful more than 50pc not working. Flight tracker not working. Back of end rear cabin seats some were loose. Dreading return legs of trip."

Fordeler: "Never flying with Etihad before, but it really impressed me with its roomy aircraft, friendly crew, well-rounded and creative e-entertainment and fine food for its amazingly affordable price. I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"
Ulemper: "Flight attendants in the economy class could be more attentive and walk around more frequently to check up passengers needs and passing out waters. Need more care to the food sanitation especially open water because I had later diarrhea after drinking it. Could be more organized for lining up different seating zones onto the flight, also seat arrangement is a bit off because bothe times I was asked to switch seats for couples and families w kids."

Ulemper: "They only had two choices of food: either vegetarian or chicken. The number of dishes were small as well. The “salad” was horrible."

Ulemper: "We have cancelled the trip on some personal problems online on kiwi.com, called twice also but till date no action is taken. Neither we got refund nor tickets got cancelled, eventhough we have cancelled tickets 3 days prior to start of our trip"
Fordeler: "Spacious. Good food. Courteous most of the time."
Ulemper: "A little chaotic during the boarding process. Would benefit from addressing issues before boarding as the flights are usually full rather than waiting till boarding time."
Fordeler: "I liked the wider seats and slightly more leg-room on the Abu Dhabi/London leg of the flight, the food was good and the staff pleasant."
Ulemper: "I was randomly picked for an "extra security check" at the Heathrow check-in in Abu Dhabi, which seemed ridiculous after going through the Johannesburg security and x-ray check as well as the Abu Dhabi one, and then having to switch on all of my electronic equipment and be swabbed for what I assume was drugs felt a bit over-the-top."
Fordeler: "Entertainment was good"
Ulemper: "Staff is rude and food was horrible"
Fordeler: "Have more space between seats"
Ulemper: "Food is getting boring. Chicken fish or beef every time. Plane was old. Entertainment choice not good. Crew forgot to bring wine for the main course. It's about 50% of the standard of the A380."
Fordeler: "The service and comfort!"
Fordeler: "Easy transfer immigration and security check"
Ulemper: "Child screaming for 12 hours straight. No action taken to resolve."
Ulemper: "Food selection.in the morning, you don't want to eat dinner food. Should be breakfast."
Ulemper: "They didnt provide me Accomodation with the fact that I had more than 12 hours transit"
Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "They didn't bring my baggages when I arrived to riyadh they said might be come in one day it was first time i have had this experience with the airlines"
Ulemper: "We did not get our bags (total of 6 bags) - It was extremely difficult with an infant and a toddler to manage without clothes and meds. Staff was extremely arrogant during the flight, not helpful at all. Boarding process was a huge disaster - no planning, no zone boarding and unnesessary panic. Lastly food, worst frozen food. The portions were too small and very limited service. We won't use ETIHAD again."

Fordeler: "Food was decent, service was great, they didn't bother me much while I slept. Overall good experience for 17hrs airborne."
Ulemper: "The seat bases are the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen... zero padding. I might have developed hemorrhoids from the trip! LOL. Seriously though, compared to an airline like Cathay Pacific the seat bases are garbage. The rest of the setup (entertainment, overall seat geometry, etc) is really good."

Fordeler: "Travel bag (with toothpaste, socks, etc) was given."
Ulemper: "2. Food choices from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok was Szechwan (spicy chicken), Indian (fish), or vegetarian pasta; no international or Thai food. 2. Entertainment was stopped 30 minutes before arrival."
Fordeler: "Staff was accommodating and friendly."
Ulemper: "Aircraft condition, smelly."
Fordeler: "nice plane"
Fordeler: "Sichuan Chicken was the best airline food i have ever eaten in an airline. it was quite impressive. Might be too spicy for a lot of people but i love it. I would advise that you add "spicy" next to the name for those who can't handle spicy food."
Ulemper: "Since i was travelling alone, it was asked to change my seat from an aisle seat to a fairly packed seat in the middle of the plane. i did them a favor because a son wanted to sit next to his dad. i really shouldn't have change. the seat was very cramped. like wow, the plane was small. i do not think i would do it again. ever."
Ulemper: "Cabin crew was not responsive to our simple needs for glass of water or serving specific meals we had ordered(JVML). after lots of discussion they found the proper meals for us."
Fordeler: "Flight got deleted, no intertaimente, no food or snacks. Maybe because is a very short flight ?"
Ulemper: "The attitude of the staff on the time of boarding in."
Fordeler: "I liked the fact my request to sit with my wife was successful and we both got exit rows. Staff were very professional and friendly."
Ulemper: "Check in took took long and it would be better if you could use more technology to speed up the process (e.g.) check in via email and check your bags before you get to the airport so you can just drop them off."
Fordeler: "The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. The entertainment selection was great, with a wide range of movies catering to many cultural backgrounds. Food and snacks were served generously, I never went hungry:)"
