Fordeler: "We got to Chicago at least 45 minutes before the expected landing time. The dinner was pretty good and the crew came around many times offering drinks. The ground crew did a good job of evaluating luggage and tagging people’s bags before the overhead bins got too full so it didn’t delay our flight."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed so we had to taxi over an hour on the runway at around 11pm. Would have been nice to have been served water or something while waiting"

Fordeler: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Fordeler: "Flight was good. Boarding was delayed, but the time was made up during flight. Comfortable seats."
Ulemper: "It is always about baggage. Bags with priority tags should atleast be sent on a "priority". With LH this never is the case. Priority tagged bags are sometimes the last ones to come on the belt."

Fordeler: "What is not to like? I was pleasantly surprised by the Munich airport ground crew and it didn’t stop there! We boarded promptly and efficiently. Once on the plane, service was excellent and the food and drink options were delicious! The entertainment selections were intriguing and engaging. At the end of the flight, we cleared the plane quickly and we’re given adequate directions to customs. It was a great experience."
Ulemper: "Nothing, the experience exceeded all expectations."
Ulemper: "I didn’t like it because when I asked for a big water bottle, they refused to gove it to me while I am sick and suffer dry throat. The space is rather small. If you are 5ft 5 and above person, I honestly would suggest you buy extra legroom for comfortable purposes. Also, there is like 1 restroom on the whole plane and if you sot at the end, you are screw. Lets not forget that they delayed our flights like 4 hours and only gave us 1 voucher for snack. I don’t expect the experience will be fancy but this is a total disappointment!"
Fordeler: "I can’t say enough about the Lufthansa staff- we ran to our gate because our connecting flight was late, and we were greeted by a warm and smiling face who said “It’s alright, don’t run, take your time, we’re waiting for you.” Onboard the crew was phenomenal- Every. Single. One. I have always felt as a burden to crew if I asked for extra water or an extra blanket- not on this flight, not with this crew. They came around multiple times per hour during an 8hr and 20min flight, offering various beverages and checking on everyone. I can’t thank them enough for how caring they were to everyone on board. The captain as well was very professional and had a kind spirit when he spoke. Best experience I’ve ever had- (and I travel multiple times per year!)"

Fordeler: "Munich airport on other hand. We got to the airport several hours in advanced. Everything from getting a boarding pass to checking and weighing in your own bag was electronically. Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"
Ulemper: "There was a child on the plane that was screaming and crying on and off for several hours. The parents didn't do anything to keep the child calm. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

Fordeler: "Flight on time, excellent crew and flight attendant, clean airplane, good entertainment,"
Ulemper: "Food was horrible, not enough water was offered to stay properly hydrated. check in; nitpicking weight of luggage. since we can only check one piece of luggage instead of two, please don't give me a hard time about 2 lbs extra."
Fordeler: "Flight was on time comfortable good crew clean and upbeat"

Ulemper: "Awful customer service once out of the airplane. It took 2 hours from landing to get our luggage. Just terrible. How many times can someone hear a generic announcement about luggage being here momentarily? This left a very poor impression of Lufthansa overall for me and everyone in my party."
Fordeler: "We often fly on Lufthansa and highly recommend it!"
Ulemper: "There was no movie..."
Fordeler: "Late flight with no prior notification. Caused us to miss our connection."
Fordeler: "On time and a safe flight."
Ulemper: "Flying ECONOMY appears to be getting worse as time goes on. I have flown Lufthansa before and was very pleased .... but lunches/dinners served with cold wet bread leaves a lot to be desired. Also, when the individual in font of you reclines their seat, it becomes almost impossible to eat your meal. Overall still better than other airlines ... but clear that economy seating is like sitting in the back of the boat with little regard for the passenger."
Fordeler: "Great aircraft! Clean, new, well maintained. No luggage problems. Cabin service was not very atttentive, which we attribute to almost full flight, with many young , noisy children."
Fordeler: "Lufthansa was really comfertable company, really good price and i'd so much."
Ulemper: "The airplane left Barcelona late and arrived in Frankfurt late. Lufthansa only allowed a 45 minute layover in Frankfurt to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. Because we arrived late - we only had 20 minutes to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. What made this an awful experience is that the flight from Barcelona landed at Gate A - our connecting flight was at Gate Z. This was as about as far away from each gate as you could get. This was over a mile to run in order to catch our connecting flight - I hurt my hamstring during the run. The Lufthansa "assisting agent" in the Frankfurt terminal was less than helpful and laughed when we told her where our connecting gate was. Not only did she laugh but she did not offer any assistance to get us to the gate on time. Prior to our trip - I called Lufthansa and voiced my concern that a 45 minute layover for an international flight was not a lot of time for us to make a connecting flight. The agent I spoke with said that legally - 45 minutes was a standard lay over for Lufthansa and she did not offer me any alternatives. This was not a pleasant experience with Lufthansa and I doubt we will fly with you again."
Fordeler: "Check-in was quick, only 4 parties ahead of me even though I arrived at the airport only 60 minutes prior to departure. Cleared security quickly too. Aircraft new and clean. Breakfast, excellent omelet, and crew extremely attentive to our needs- offering 2 drinks instead of other airlines which just give one and makes you feel that is all you deserve."
Ulemper: "Couldn't have been better."
Ulemper: "The plane was extremely small and uncomfortable. There were only two lavoratories for 60+ people, the other two being reserved only for the 10+ people in first class. As a result, throughout the whole flight there was a long waiting line in the plane's aisle, causing the crew to complain angrily in German, thinking we wouldn't understand what they're saying, because they couldn't go through easily."
Ulemper: "Seats are very uncomfortable. Body wants to slide forward."
Fordeler: "Great service, good food, plenty of (and good selection) beverages. This is the way flying used to be and it is awesome on Lufthansa and I was only flying regular coach. Also really good music/movie system with plenty of great choices, I watched some very good movies and the system works very well."
Ulemper: "Only downside is that despite being pretty techie I could not get the wifi to work and I tried three browsers and every bit of advice in the Magazine on board."
Fordeler: "Crew inside the plane was lovely."
Ulemper: "Problems with the check-in online that made it impossible and cause that me and my partner had to seated not together. In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."
Fordeler: "Direct flight, separate spacious toilets, decent food"
Ulemper: "It's a good flight overall"
Ulemper: "No exaggeration: The crew rolled a beverage cart in front of the restroom while I was in there. I couldn't leave for about 4 minutes The food made me vomit. That's why I was in the restroom when they blocked me in My headset jack was broken. 500 movies aren't worth anything if I can't hear them"
Fordeler: "Generally a smooth flight. My geographically knowledgeable friend pointing out towns, rivers, forests and places we visited in 2012 as we moved across Italy, the Swiss Alps and Germany. Delightful."
