We were crowded into a space that wouldn’t have accommodated a group half our size. Then we were criwded onto busses to stand and wait about 20 minutes while others cleared the five security screenings."

Delicious meals that are better than going to a restaurant, the head rests that bend in so you can sleep with or without a neck pillow (I had absent-mindedly packed my pillow in my baggage and was delighted to discover these), the little pouch of goodies (socks, slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, eyemask, lip balm, ear plugs), and the pleasantness of the crew are all highlights for me. And I was delighted by the magical flight safety video! Thank you also for passing out little sweets on New Year's - that was such a lovely touch and appreciated. Everyone who has flown Turkish agrees it's the best!"

It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Ulemper: "When I presented my passport at the counter to receive my boarding pass, I was told my passport needed to be over 3 months before expiration. It expires January 14, 2019. It is not written on the passport, nor mentioned during booking. I’ve been to Latvia four times previously and never heard this requirement. I cancelled the flight with Lufthansa who said I must call Kayak who gave me another number to call and that number then sent an email that said there was a $350 rebooking fee for each ticket, IF they decided I was eligible for rebooking. Yes, we got a great rate, but looks like wasted $ now. I will book directly with the airline in the future to ensure the ability to rebook."

The flight was not held for me and other passengers and when we arrived at the gate they were oblivious of the fact that we had been held up in what seemed to be a Km long security line."

Ulemper: "To whom it may concern I had booked flight from Casablanca to Chicago via Frankfurt , on May 6th , by Lufthansa, two hours before the flight , at the counter in CMN , they notified me , that the flight , is over booked , and I can’t catch this flight , and they offered me different difficult options, , till the flight boarded , they offered me one of the most inconvenient flights , and reward me some amount , in this case : I missed my flight which accordingly , lose my appointment , and lose my business. I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me ."

Fordeler: "the gate crew didn't care if there was chaos. no interaction with waiting passengers beyond those that queued up with direct questions. i'd liken the experience to herding cattle. customer service skills haven't been taught to these folks yet. if i were basing my lufthansa experience on this alone, i'd go out of my way to fly another airline next time. on the other hand, the people staffing the flight were extremely kind, professional, pleasant, personable. a much improved experience. so much so that i mentioned it to a few people once i got home. this crew has received more training on how to provide excellent service than the gate folks in frankfurt."

In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "It may be a cultural thing for some, but two of the flight attendants did not smile at all. Not even really an acknowledgement when I said hello to them. And I tried throughout the flight to see if it was just because they were too busy or simply did not hear or notice me. It's not a big deal now, but it can be if the whole staff were to become silent and non-interactive."

I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

Fordeler: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
Fordeler: "The very dirty plane was cleaned at Dar-es-salaam and became less dirty. The pilot kept us updated periodically through the flight. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Ulemper: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Fordeler: "Short layover connecting from US flight and luggage transferred ok to destination. Food option not great but at least they didn't charge for it unlike some other airlines. No entertainment but to be expected on such a short flight."
Ulemper: "Horrible. First, we lost a suitcase. It could happen but for two days they did nothing and only told us stories (so as not to use the word lies). Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"
Ulemper: "14 hours connection time and they don't offer hotel/meal accommodation that airlines like Qatar Airways do. I inquired about the hotel within the airport and it costs $300 for 8 hours. Ridiculous. There is no place to sleep properly in the airport, I saw people laying down on the floor."
Fordeler: "The flight was on time. Food was reasonable."
Ulemper: "A bit more leg-room and there is some scope for improvement in the food. Also, the entertainement could have more south Indian content and also allow to access entertainement for more time."
Fordeler: "Crew, food and beverage"

Fordeler: "The crew were NOT helpful, The captain didn't inform us well about the delay"

Fordeler: "they are quiet but not as roomy as i hoped. The food was okay.prices in Abu dhabi are extortionate though for a 5 hr stop."
Ulemper: "The plane to bangkok from Abu Dhabiis a bean tin cram as many on as you can . the seat sent my backside to sleep for 3 days and my ankles and legs are badly swollen. disappointed and not looking forward to return flights"
Ulemper: "Disasterous! The flight departed 3 hours late because of some mechanical problem. So missed connections in Abu Dhabi, although Ethihad could have held a later connection to BKK for just about 20 minutes for us to board. The huge hassle getting lodging from the airline to take an onward flight the next day. Your staff would not accommodate us at the airport hotel so we could avoid the need to obtain a visa, which takes a minimum of 3 hours wait. We finally gave up on the visa and decided to just stay up overnight at the airport. That caused one kind Ethihad staff to finally make issues us an authorization for the hotel at the airport. We would never fly your airline again."
Fordeler: "Everything, the staff were very friendly and helpful, food, flight and boarding was excellent"
Ulemper: "Warm beer"
Ulemper: "1. Not smiley at all. 2. I asked for a blanket as my 2 yrs old was sleeping and I have to ask three times and finally I got it. 3. I asked for arrival form 40 min before landing and the air hostess said later and she didn’t give me one ."
Fordeler: "Flight was punctual. A380 is a nice plane to fly on, but see other comments. Entertainment choices are good, but see other comments."
Ulemper: "On arrival at Sydney, discovered my bag damaged. The metal cage that holds the handle slider had been broken so they must have really thumped the bag. Re windows and cabin lighting. Flight left Abu Dhabi at 21:50, landed Sydney at 17:50 next day. The cabin was kept in darkness until 3pm Sydney time / 9am Abu Dhabi time. This only gave us 2 hours of daylight on Tuesday, terrible in trying to adjust to a new timezone!! Even going off Abu Dhabi time, why wait till 9am to turn on the lights and raise the windows? No-one sleeps that long and it creates too much darkness. Please turn on the lights and raise window shades a few hours earlier to help our body clocks adjust. The view of the world outside the window is also interesting! Re entertainment system: with some airlines you can use the entertainment system immediately on embarking but with Etihad you have to wait till airborne. Considering boarding begins an hour before departure, that is a long time to sit waiting without being able to use the entertainment system. Re comfort: I don't know why, but the Etihad A380 seats have this weird head rest on one side that can't be folded flat. I found it quite annoying. Also when you recline the seat, it also goes forward scrunching you towards the seat in front. I found the Emirates A380 seat a lot roomier and more comfortable."

Ulemper: "Plane older, seats and entertainment worn."
Fordeler: "Plenty of spare seating. Cabin staff and crew very helpful."
Ulemper: "Entertainment was dreadful more than 50pc not working. Flight tracker not working. Back of end rear cabin seats some were loose. Dreading return legs of trip."
Fordeler: "Seats were comfortable."
Ulemper: "My family was unable to get seats together."
Ulemper: "Service was a bit average. Attendants bumping into you... no apologies"
Fordeler: "Never flying with Etihad before, but it really impressed me with its roomy aircraft, friendly crew, well-rounded and creative e-entertainment and fine food for its amazingly affordable price. I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"
Ulemper: "Flight attendants in the economy class could be more attentive and walk around more frequently to check up passengers needs and passing out waters. Need more care to the food sanitation especially open water because I had later diarrhea after drinking it. Could be more organized for lining up different seating zones onto the flight, also seat arrangement is a bit off because bothe times I was asked to switch seats for couples and families w kids."
Ulemper: "They moved my flight to later time on both ways."
Fordeler: "The crew were outstanding."
Ulemper: "They only had two choices of food: either vegetarian or chicken. The number of dishes were small as well. The “salad” was horrible."

Ulemper: "Check in at JFK took ages as the ground staff just didn’t bother about balancing queues versus available agents. One quueue moves fast and the other got stick . Some of the agents were novices After boarding some passengers couldn’t find place for their carry on a. They were rudley informed that they are carrying large carry ones and were threatened with deboatdong if they weren’t fast in finding alternate places for their bags"
Fordeler: "Got an exit seat, so really enjoyed the leg room and overall flight experience."
Ulemper: "The flight did not take off on time, either from NYC to Abu Dhabi or Abu Dhabi to Islamabad. From Abu Dhabi to Islamabad, it was almost an hour late."
Fordeler: "Good service. Excellent food"

Fordeler: "Lots of food and drinks offered often and tasted pretty decent."
Ulemper: "I was given a baggage tag without any explanations on what that even means. It would have helped knowing I should keep it safe in case my luggage is misplaced or lost by Etihad- which is was! The seats are not that comfortable and I needed to stand a lot. Bathroom kept running out of soap and needed to wait long for staff to replace. Entertainment system was hard to use due to the person in front of me leaning their chair back the whole time so the screen was in my face."
Fordeler: "Etihad transfer bus to Dubai from Abu Dhabi is free, super convenient, and a great experience!"

Ulemper: "The seats we had were very hard to recline. For the first 8 hrs of the flight w my sister and I could not get the seats to recline The flight attendants would pass us by without asking we wanted anything to drink. We felt totally ignored particularly dine we were seat in the center two seats in the middle section."

Ulemper: "one and half hour late, barely made to the next flight!"
Ulemper: "Flight was very delayed. I have been flying from DAC using various international airlines, none had this much systemic delay."
Fordeler: "Check in in Frankfurt. Black lady. Extremely helpful. Went out of her way. This is the people you need in the front line."
Ulemper: "Terribly old planes. Bad or non existent cabin service. Food not acceptable. Plastic noodle bowls with hot water. !?? Really!!"
Fordeler: "The flight itself was actually just fine- comfortable even in economy."
Ulemper: "My bag was delayed in Abu Dhabi. On its return, my laptop- that I had been forced to check- had been stolen... Not necessarily Etihad's fault, but so far their customer support has been almost non-existent."
Fordeler: "It was such a long flight with almost 15 hours of travel. So, I was bit worried. But the flight crew was all set to make us comfortable. Their patience, attention to all requirements and efficiency really impressed me."
Fordeler: "Nothing was good"
Ulemper: "Air hostess were very rude. Her name is Iliana , none of them have name tags on. I guess that will he the first thing any passengers would expect. Food was not served as per the menu. They gave away whay ever they wish. To ask for water we had to request 4-5 times. The air hostess Iliana was bumping constanly into us, and does not even have courtesy of apologising. Because of her I could not even sleep for a second in the plane. Iliana is very racist. When multi cultural people are around, it a common sense that we have to talk in a language which is understandable by every one. She was speaking in the local language, and messing around with the fellow passengers for a small issue. She is definitely not fit as an air hostess, if she is there as a racist. there was another air hostess who as shouting at us to book business class if we need to order individually. A kid beside me was asking for an ice cream if we had a chance of purchasing it, like we do in domestic airlines. When I was requesting for the ice cream, she mentioned it thrice to book a ticket in business class. Rude absolutely very very rudeeeee. Untolerable service.....worst really worst service. There was no blanket and ear plugs kept on my seat, I request iliana thrice for blanket and ear plugs, she was like i will give you after I serve everyone, but I never had one through out my journey. This is how Eithad has trained their air hostess to handle passengers. seriously I will never ever choose eithad."
Fordeler: "Economy legroom was good, great food, clean plane. Staff seemed professional but occasionally cold to requests."
Ulemper: "They didnt provide me Accomodation with the fact that I had more than 12 hours transit"
Fordeler: "The food and crew was good"
Ulemper: "Same Boeing 777 being used for several years now Seats were very uncomfortable . I advice ettihad should use A380 for these 14 hour flights for more comfortable experience of the passengers."
Ulemper: "Plane was not maintained at a comfortable temperature. It was just downright hot! But that was our experience with all our Etihad flights. Planes are not maintained at comfortable temperatures. Food was awful - boiled chicken taste While handing out sandwiches and drinks stewardess just gave my husband whatever I asked for without checking with him. Many times he was overlooked by the stewardesses on either side as he was in a middle seat. I did not see a single onboard crew crack a smile, robotic service. Not impressed with my first Etihad experience."
Ulemper: "The flight is a 777 or 787. This is the flight has cramped up legroom in economy. It's a 17 hour flight and the aircraft is not comfortable at all in economy. The food is a hot or a miss. They have 3 items on the menu but chances are by the time they get to you they run out of the non veg options and you are stuck eating dal and pulav. Flight attendants on the flight were okay, not super helpful if you are traveling in economy"

Fordeler: "Sichuan Chicken was the best airline food i have ever eaten in an airline. it was quite impressive. Might be too spicy for a lot of people but i love it. I would advise that you add "spicy" next to the name for those who can't handle spicy food."
Ulemper: "Since i was travelling alone, it was asked to change my seat from an aisle seat to a fairly packed seat in the middle of the plane. i did them a favor because a son wanted to sit next to his dad. i really shouldn't have change. the seat was very cramped. like wow, the plane was small. i do not think i would do it again. ever."
Ulemper: "Gate manager "Nadia" very rude and unprofessional in dealing with boarding passengers."
Fordeler: "US custom and immigration check in at Abu Dhabi airport. We walked away at JFK New York as Domestic passangers."
Ulemper: "Appeared that the number of serving crew is small compared to the size of the plane. We had t repeat our request for service many times before we were attended."
