The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

The check in wasnt so good and fast

Seat allocation or lack of availability is a mystery. My wife and I had to sit apart from each other, and teenage children elsewhere but I checked in at the first possible opportunity (24 hours to flight) and at this stage 95% of all seats were gone. How is this possible? What can I do differently next to to be able to sit together with my ffamily on a long haul night flight?

The trip was smooth

This flight was a bit of a let down compared to our departing flight. The food was pretty bad, I couldn't even cut the meat. But the thing that made this less enjoyable was the terrible check-in process. We waited over 70 minutes to check in for Business class. Numerous people almost missed their flight, which made the line even longer. I've never waiting in a standard line that long to check-in, so to experience it for Business class was disappointing at best. Also, the flight attendants weren't as friendly as the ones on our flight to London. One of them with dark hair was great, but the other 2 were grumpy and seemed irritable most of the flight. The experience was quite different from our flight from SEA to LHR, so it was a bummer to end the trip on a mediocre note--especially with the cost of these tickets.

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

Ulemper: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Seats so narrow and rows are so close, that you practically pooched into your neighbors, those that behind don't let you to recline your seat as then your seat is in their face. It looks like American Airlines hopes to exchange your reality with virtuality, but our bodies that we are for some reason taking with us on that itinerary - suffer."

Ulemper: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"

Fordeler: "The airport it's very nice and clean.."
Fordeler: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Ulemper: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."
Fordeler: "The original flight was canceled, the stroller was taken away when boarded the airplane, and not seen until final destination. With a 1-year-old and 2 and a half year old, this was the worst ever flight. Take us 35 hours total travel time to get home with 2 small kids, it is a nightmare."
Ulemper: "The flight was cancelled and changed to 2 stops from one. We purchased a 1 stop flight because of the kids. In mid season a week before departure, we were notified about the change and it was impossible to get a same priced ticket so close to departure. We bought insurance but even with that was impossible. Looks like a scam. Very upsetting, messed up the whole thing."
Ulemper: "The food was not good although plentiful The seats were not made for a long-haul flight We received no overnight bag (eye masks, ear plugs, toothbrush, etc.)"
Fordeler: "Took over an hour to check in. There were at least 300 people in line with one person checking economy in."

The crew could have been more stern about passenger conduct as to make the process more efficient."

Ulemper: "The USB charge points do not work. Plus, the touch screens for the IFE require a lot of hard tapping on the screen, annoying for the people in the seat on which back the screen is placed."
Ulemper: "I sat in the window seat. Trying to get out of the row is very difficult. The arm rests do not rise high enough to get around without needing to climb over them."
Fordeler: "The flight attendant ruined my trip and experience3 with this airline."
Ulemper: "Twice I was passed up and overlooked for food and drink when they were being provided to all. The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."
Fordeler: "Individual seat video screens / media selection for such a long flight. Food also good, with good beer / wine selection"
Ulemper: "Bag never was placed on this flight, for whatever reason. BA had almost 4 hours to ensure its inclusion--but without success. It was delivered within 48 hours to my home, though, with all contents in tact."
Fordeler: "The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the entertainment system worked perfectly."
Ulemper: "The gentlemen in front of me kept his seat reclined through the whole trip, making my space quite cramped. I know this can't be helped, but it does make the space a bit claustrophobic."
Fordeler: "The meal for dinner was nice with wine, good old fashioned meal service. The plane was clean. Blankets and pillows provided. Staff seemed efficient. The flight was operated by Iberian so it was all in Spanish. Okay for us as we speak Spanish."
Ulemper: "The seats had so little padding. We are not very tall and the seats are just too close together. The poor fellow behind me could not make a move without bashing the back of my seat. Not his fault. If you are over 5'5" tall you are in trouble. It is too bad that flying has become so uncomfortable in coach."
Ulemper: "It is absolutely ridiculous that they made us pay $100 each way for our ski bag/equipment. I will never fly either airline again. Horrible customer service as well. The airplane and its entertainment system is quite antiquated and needs to be updated. Horrible experience."
Ulemper: "Hi -- the flight was fine. A bit of turbulence and rocky but it was raining so it's understandable. The crew was nice, professional. The plan was actually delayed 1.5 hours. They sent a text message at 7:15 apparently but my phone was not on so I understand not receiving it. I also left for the airport around 7:15. I also received an email from Kayak at 7 am that said there was no delay so I didn't check to see if there would be any others. I never received an email from Kayak about the delay. I would just suggest making sure all the alerts I get are correct. I also receieved an email to check in 72 hours before the flight but it wouldn't let me on Finnair.com Maybe I was supposed to go to Open Skies. Thanks! Melodie"
Fordeler: "courteous and helpful crew, easy calm and efficient boarding process, with a announcer who spoke CLEARLY, slowly and loud enough to hear, more comfortable plane than the AA plane I took to get to Paris."
Ulemper: "In flight entertainment really inferior to other airlines, food mediocre, but adequate. But good service is paramount and your crew was good despite many challenging customers."

Ulemper: "Little legroom for such a long flight. Too crowded."

Not sure why the gate information would show "boarding" and then "gate closing" before anyone had actually started boarding. Was ultimately sat before the scheduled takeoff time, although takeoff was after the schedule. Favourable flying conditions allowed us to land 5 minutes early, although as there was another plane still sitting at our gate on arrival meant we were ultimately late to the gate (giving gate / disboarding times would be more honest than just the scheduled landing time). Somehow, even though there was a plane sitting at our gate on arrival, when we were allowed to taxi to the gate, there were apparently no ground staff there. What? Even though there was an incoming plane, they went elsewhere? Staff on the plane and the meal service were fine.

All services were satisfactory. I I was impressed With the BGO airport. The angst I had about making my BGO connection to OSL to EWR was all in vain. I had time to enjoy the time between flights to shop and use up my unused Krones. I'll use SAS when ever they fit into my flight schedule.Thanks.

My flight was delayed. They rebooked my ticket by flying to Bergen to Oslo, Oslo to Copenhagen then Copenhagen to SFO. Once I got to Oslo, the flight was delayed again going to Copenhagen. By the time, I got to Copenhagen, my flight to SFO was already boarding. I had to run one mile from terminal A to terminal E and was stuck in customs because of the long line. The good thing is that half of the passenger for the SFO flight were also stuck in the custom line with me so the plane had to wait for all of us.

Reisen ble kansellert begge veier pga streiken. Snakk om sevice

Bedre håndtering av kansellering, rebookinger med bedre alternativer. Bedre tatt hånd om etter en kansellering i form av oppgradering av klasse, sete, matservering. Ingen kompensasjon for ulempene før turen eller under turen.

Billettene våre ble kansellert pga streiken. Nye billetter tur/retur Barcelona kom på 19.500,-

Did not made it to the flight. Airline did not want to wait 10minutes for its passengers. Horrible service.

The food was terrible and the crew didn’t speak any Scandinavian language and were very loud like on their own trip

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

Also, my husband spilled his drink; one of the attendants said he was too busy to help with cleanup. Fortunately, another attendant came over after my husband went to the galley to again ask for assistance."

Got passed over during the first drink service. Second service was more agreeable. Passengers are allowed to prop their feet up on the backs of the seats in front of them and to play their devices without headphones so everyone has to listen to it?For 4 hours. Why does this go unchecked? Is the comfort of a single passenger more important than all the others? I normally have nothing but good things to say about Air France but they missed the mark today by a wide margin.

Wrong advice was given by AF counter for the boarding by asking me to exit airport and then enter again , otherwise was ok .

Hyggelige og effektive ansatte. Derimot er flyene til og fra Oslo alltid forsinket og i vår tilfelle var det på 25 minutter. I tillegg, er kabinene på enkelte fly delvis utdaterte, smart å sjekke på forhold hva slags fly du skal fly med. Ellers er det er svært bra selskap som jeg anbefaler å bruke.

Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving."

Ulemper: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."

The customs line in Vancouver was outrageous and the way it was handled and lack of information to customers was frustrating.

Lost one of our bags after the debacle in Toronto. Utterly useless.

Ulemper: "Crew seemed uninterested in general. On phones in back while people struggling to find luggage space. Coffee cups and plastic utensils, etc, stored in overhead bins so people at the back had to search for carry-on space elsewhere, again, without assistance from on board crew. Offered service only once and many were sleeping so didn’t get anything. The overall check-in process could be easier, as the app doesn’t always work as it should."
Fordeler: "One of the flight attendants (potentially a French Canadian or maybe just plain French) was amongst the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. She was a little mean, but I'm willing to let it slide. In fact, I'm willing to let a lot of the negative things about the flight slide because of her (sorry, got to give credit where credit is due)."
Ulemper: "Got diarrhea from the waffles. The seats did not recline. No entertainment, but hey, this flight was damn cheap so I'm not complaining! Also, see positives."

Ulemper: "I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."

Ulemper: "It took two hours to check my bag at the airport. The plane engine needed to be jump started, and I missed my connection flight to Paris. I had to spend an entire day stuck in Toronto, sick from terrible Hotel and airport food, cheap vouchers for terrible food, I missed my traveling companion who made the flight to Paris. I left my hat on the plane after the terrible flight in which they refused us any basic courtesies for the numerous passengers who were about to be stranded, and then the grooming crew kept my hat instead of turning it in to lost and found. Best part? Customer service told me that since I booked via Kayak, that I was not a valued customer and that they would not extend any courtesies to me for destroying my work trip itinerary."

Fordeler: "The ciabatta buns served with the regular meals, looked lovely, as did the regular meat meals. Unfortunately, I ordered the Hindu Vegetarian meal."
Ulemper: "Usually the Hindu Vegetarian meals are quite nice, but these ones were not. I have eaten a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern food, and I could not identify what this was supposed to be. The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."
Ulemper: "The seats were a little narrow and it made eating the meal a little difficult."
Ulemper: "The temperature fluctuated like crazy. Upon entering it was fire hot. Then became ice cold then fire hot again. It felt like there was something wrong with the plane. The plane also lqasnt cleaned before we boarded. It just landed with another flight then we boarded."

Ulemper: "The food was so awful and very unhealthy! No TV for entertainment on our 9 hour international flight was absurd. Lastly, we purchased the tickets together, when we checked in, our seats were not together on both the flight to and from Italy, thankfully other people switched seats with us. When we asked the flight crew at the desk to switch seats, they couldn't both times. We definitely will not be flying Air Canada in the future."

Ulemper: "I only have one bag. My bag is weighted 57 lb and charged me CA$100.00. They should have averaged 2 bags' weight and I should not have charged CA$100.00. I think the service is poor."

Ulemper: "I couldn't believe how little room there was for such a long flight! There wasn't enough room for me to reach my bag that was on the ground even when the seat in front of me wasn't reclined. And the people next to me kept jabbing me with their elbows because three grown adults simply could not sit next to one another in such a small space. I'm a small person so if I feel crammed on a flight I have no idea how the average person can tolerate it!"

Fordeler: "Toronto->Shanghai Good In general it was a good flight considering how long (14 hours) it was. The new entertainment system has a lot of features and movies. It also has chat to other passengers which is useful when travelling with a group sitting in different areas."
Ulemper: "Bad Long flight but that is the way it is. The fight map froze on my entertainment system about 1/2 through the flight so the map was useless after that. One side of my earphones also went dead. My wife wanted something better then hot noodles in a cup for the middle meal."
