Flight from Dusseldorf to Zurich, then Zurich to Los Angeles. in Dusseldorf, SWISS oversold the plane by 25 passengers. It was unbelievable, SWISS was randomly determining who would not fly and miss their other connecting flights in Zurich. It was by shear luck that we were able to keep our original reservation. SWISS needs to realize that this type of problem is serious. I can't imagine every flying SWISS again."

Ulemper: "The attitude of the Lufthansa gate staff was anything but welcoming. Reaching the gate for the Lufthansa flight was greeted with my name shout from a distance, and my apologise for being late were met with shrugs! Not only that, but my 3 checked bags are still in at IAD, I didn’t receive in CAI!"

Ulemper: "The Soviet Union wants its airline back. This was perhaps the RUDEST airline experience I've ever experienced. I was at Frankfurt (FRA) airport waiting to board Air Moldova Flight 864 to Chisinau (KIV). Due to a delay caused by Frankfurt security (and no fault of my own), I was delayed in reaching the gate. Since it was past my boarding time, I grabbed my bags from the conveyor belt once past security without having time to repack. I arrived at the gate and the extremely rude Air Moldova gate agent on duty yelled at me and demanded that I give her my boarding pass. When I told her I needed to pack, she yelled that there was “no time for that”. When I searched for my pass, she again yelled and said “NOW!”. When I told her that it was not my fault that I arrived late since there was a delay at security, she said “Not my problem!”. After she checked my boarding pass, I tried to repack and she again yelled “There is no time. Go to the bus NOW!” I once again told her that it was not my fault I got delayed and she again yelled “NOT MY PROBLEM”. In addition to rude employees, the airline is clearly in violation of safety regulations. The safety card in the back seat pocket was written in ARMENIAN – and Armenian only, thanks to the plane having been leased and Air Moldova not appropriately changing the safety cards. How did they expect people who read Romanian or Russian (the local languages) or English to understand it! On top of that, the plane was easily 20 years old or more and dirty. If they can't even keep a plane clean or have the appropriate safety cards, what else are they not maintaining. Do not fly this terrible airline!"

We just barely made our connecting flight and our next flight was way better in service. Our luggage didn’t make the connection and hoping that all our precious cargo from our anniversary trip made it. The flight attendant told us we had enough time to make it to our next flight but I honestly ran from one point of the airport to the other. The staff said it wasn’t that far and no checkpoints to go through - this information was false."

Ulemper: "Water was spilled on me by flight attendant. Luggage was left in Frankfort. Did not have clothes or medications, or daily necessities. Must wait 1 1/2 days to get luggage"

Fordeler: "Great flight crew, very friendly. Was just slightly alarmed that my friends and I never once had to show ID or passport to get onto the plane, especially given the current turmoil in europe. otherwise, enjoyed the flight and will fly more"

Ulemper: "The person sitting next to me on my right side was disrespectful and putting his head and legs up on my seat even after I told him not to do that and even spoke with the flight attendant. I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

Ulemper: "Boarding could have been done in sections, not all at once. Entertainment needs to be refreshed more often"

Ulemper: "S7 asked for additional "fees" to cover flight expenses. They have charged extra for carry on luggage of 2,000 roubles. It was mentioned that it was international flight but they have refused to honor those rules. I have used the same bag on other airlines and did not have any problems."

Fordeler: "It was a smooth and uneventful flight. Friendly crew, nice light snack, and good beer (and lots of water to stay hydrated). No complaints here."

Fordeler: "I was upgrade to Premium Economy with my family. Kids enjoyed playground areas at Frankfort Main Airport. Very nice and clean installation"

Fordeler: "The problem was a family with 4 children who failed to parent their children which made this 7 hour flight a nightmare. Their children yelled, screamed and cried the entire flight and their parents did nothing. Their children laid in the center aisles, jumped up and down in the seats like a trampoline. They played with the trays like a toy repeatedly opening and closing them for fun. They tossed pillows at each other and the father handed them back to them to do it again and again. The parents didn't even seat their children in - the flight attendant had to do it. In our section there was no sleeping only total frustration. I love kids but sitting behind totally irresponsible parents made this return flight a nightmare while awake"

Ulemper: "I had no idea that the flight you booked me on require extra 40 euro fees for check-in luggage. To add insult to injury, the Aegean flight required check-in at a Lufthansa counter which would not accept payment for the luggage fee. I had to wait in a long line of 30+ passengers at the Aegean counter"

Fordeler: "I missed the flight. Because they closed the check in counter 1 full hour before the departure time. I was standing in a passport control line for 40 minutes before that. I reached the check in counter 55 minutes before departure time. It was closed. The ticket office had no sympathy, refused to issue me a boarding pass. My flight was paid for and confirmed. There was time to get through security and reach the gate by boarding time. All i needed was the boarding pass and they would not give it. I missed the flight i had paid for and of course you won't give me a refund It caused serious problems with my trip. I'm totally disgusted and will never buy another ticket on this ariline."

Ulemper: "Not enough water available as it was a very warm flight and I was quite dehydrated"

Ulemper: "Terrible customer service. Rude and unhelpful. They refused to do a spelling change on my name and forced me to purchase a second ticket. The flight was 25+ minutes late taking off due to lack of organization at passenger check-in. It really is a shame that Agean is pretty much the only option to Istanbul (IST) from Athens."

Fordeler: "Check-in counter mentioned that our ticket did not include checked baggage, but she only charged for one bag (will be checking on my ticket and discussing with Aegean's corporate if I bought the correct ticket with checked bags). Boarding was easy and the crew was very nice and helpful throughout the flight. I was glad that they served a small meal - food was good...we're not talking about a restaurant meal. Seats were good and just wish there was some in-flight entertainment."

Ulemper: "The confusion of where to drop your bags- whether we had to pay extra and where to pay it!"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed for more than 2 hours without having any announcement nor a reps to tell you what was going on or when is the new departure time. The aircraft is very small, old, narrow seats, delay in boarding and unboarding."

Ulemper: "The main problem is that when I bought the ticket, it wasn't clear luggage wasn't included but only carry on items. I had to pay extra. It was a surprise. I assumed that 1 small suitcase was included."

Fordeler: "The employees were very helpful and friendly. Food was not worse than what one can expect of an airline (about as “good” as a US airline’s, which is not a high standard to beat). The plane seemed recent and clean."
Ulemper: "The major problem was the lack of detail on their luggage policy. I am sure they can show the text clearly warning me about the fees for bringing a piece of luggage per person, but I missed it. Therefore, they charged me $35 per person for their registered bag. That’s probably how they “beat” their competitors’ prices. If you include the fees in your calculation, this might still be a good option, but make sure that you read the fine print, or be prepared to pay as “extra” what many airlines offer as basic."

Ulemper: "The onky problem was the need to rechdck bags at athens for our flight to Ioannina With onky 1 and a half hours long lines at passport control It was a race... Pressure Best tonthinknhow to avoid and perhaps the airline should warn us in advance .."

Fordeler: "As above, for this 2d leg of our trip on Aegean, we gave Aegean an overall 5 because of the excellent accommodations they made for my wife who is handicapped. They went out of their way to make sure she got wheelchair assistance, and lift assistance up to the airplane, and this time,help from the airplane to the train station once we reached Rome."
Ulemper: "Food was some kind of basic dough filled with something I couldn't recognize."

Ulemper: "I had round trip flight with Aegean airline from Santorini to Athen and Athen to Santorini, Both flights had DELAYED FOR ONE HOUR!!! My gateleg table was broken on Athen to Santorini flight so I ate my lunch in a hard way!!!!! On the way back after one delayed finally we arrived at Athen airport and I had two more flight to caught. when I got my luggage do the next flight I realized literally my luggage was destroyed!!!!"

Ulemper: "Cold on the plane"

Ulemper: "Too much of uncontrolled loud talk between passengers above 25 - 30 yrs old on either side of aisle at night 10 - 12 PM without even thinking that other passengers are around. Flight attendants could have been courteous by asking them to keep the noise low. My baggage did not arrive for 4 days in Cairo and no one was responding to calls and even went to airport twice . offices were closed during day time . Last day before leaving with the help of a travel agent I was lucky to get my luggage. There was almost a brawl at airport as people were unhappy because their baggage did not come from tel aviv to cairo. Very poor handling of delayed baggage. Not even a call from the airline. Not sure if it was offloaded in Tel Aviv or Athens."

Some of the people in AEGEAN airlines were extremely rude and had no empathy for us, it was an awful day!!! because we had no sleep cause we where there at 2 am in the morning cause the flight was at 5:15 and we did that because we wanted to be for the whole day in santorini so you can imagine how frustrating and upset we were, they just gave us a snak for 6.50 Euro and 10 hours later We literalaly had to figth for our Food, We will apriciate if youu can do something about it or get us a refound, we where 3 people: ana Marrufo, Estefani Escoffie and pamela Ramayo"

Fordeler: "I have flown to hk with Cathay and American exclusively. I wanted to try Finnair because the price was very good for business. I now know why. The food is mediocre. The staff aren’t friendly or attentive. At $2700 it’s cheap compared to CX and AA but I know why now."

Ulemper: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

Ulemper: "The entertainment system wasn't the best I've seen as of late. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if they updated it!"

Ulemper: "Movie entertainment options were not consistent from plane to plane. On the arriving flight, the plane had an impressive offering of movies and tv shows for passenger viewing during flight, however, on the return flight, there was much less available."

Ulemper: "Boarded late, taxi' around for 3 and a half hours, deplaned as flight was canceled, waited 3 hours for next flight which was then cancelled. All understandable until the announced that the flight was reinstated only to be followed by an hour of the clerks unable to put people back on the flight which caused it to be cancelled. Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"

Fordeler: "Everything was good. Tv screen had issues booking for first half of flight"

Ulemper: "The movies did not play on my screen. I tried to use the screen on the seat next to me and the movies quit in the middle. It was very annoying."

Fordeler: "It seems a bit unfair to rate Finnair, when the flight was serviced by Iberia...that being said - everyone seemed to be put out by any request or basic question. The movies were really good and (UNLIKE the flight from Chicago to Madrid, where i was told they didn't do that) the stewardess on the flight home didn't mind giving me a second glass of wine."
Ulemper: "the people at the boarding desk in O'Hare were rude & indifferent. The flight attendants on way to Spain were non-existant The food was comically awful!!! The man at the check-in desk in Madrid could not have been ruder or less helpful (Hopefully for his wife's sake!) The food on the way home again was unfortunate.....that can NOT possibly be the best food any company can find in Spain. Hell - wed have been better off with a cheese & ham plate with some bread!!"

Fordeler: "Usually a 7 hours flight is a torture for me, but with their outstanding service I didn't notice how time flew by.The flight attendants were providing us with all necessary information about next connections."

Fordeler: "Crew was accommodating, entertainment movies was good and food/snacks was not bad for transatlantic flight from NY to Paris. Seats are cramped, but it is expected."
Ulemper: "Didn't appreciate the additional charge to select basic seats (not upgraded), not sure if justfly.com is affiliated with Kayak. I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

Ulemper: "They were no snacks available except the ones that we had to pay for - which in fact I thought was a bit pretentious towards the passengers."

Fordeler: "I thought the BA/American/Finnair flight was excellent. The food was delicious both ways, much superior to United, American or Continental which I often fly. Excellent food, legroom, inflight entertainment (going out my row of seats - well, nobody could get any entertainment access) all was very good. Loved the newspaper choice when leaving Gatwick. I would definitely recommend again."

Ulemper: "There was a very poor selection of movies to watch:( Last tim ei flew AA, and there was an absolutely huge choice . . . Would love to see that improved . . I think you have to cater for all tastes . . . and that definitely was not the case on my flight"

Ulemper: "What didn't I like? I didn't like that I bought a ticket from Finnair, got emails from Finnair, for some reason couldn't check in early on the Finnair website, arrived at the airport, waited in the absurdly long check-in line for Finnair only to find out that they had no record of me and I wasn't flying Finnair. Actually, I was on an American Airlines flight."

Fordeler: "The crew was just fantastic. ...."
Ulemper: "I request special meal. ..unfortunately was not provided to me."

Fordeler: "The flight was fantastic. It wasn't a full flight so I was moved to an exit row for more leg space. All the crew was very nice except for one lady. They distributed water often which was nice. You get options for dinner and breakfast."
Ulemper: "My problems began after landing. I booked a flight from LAX to Amsterdam, with a layover at Heathrow. When I originally checked in, they didn't send my things all the way through to my final destination. I had to exit the airport at Heathrow to retrieve my bag and go back through security, while trying to make my connecting flight."

Fordeler: "The crew went above and beyond to cater to everyone during this long long flight, they were really sweet, moving people around for more comfort if needed. Hadn't seen such a caring crew in a long time. Thank you to the Miami based crew, they were amazing !"
Ulemper: "Inflight entertainment....AA NEEDS to get individual screens in economy."

Ulemper: "Trying to get through airport security was an unorganized clown show with them herding groups of passengers back and forth between airport terminals resulting in many people almost missing their flights because the lines just weren't moving. Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Ulemper: "Operated by American Airlines. This was a different filght than was in our tickets because we were late for our connection flight. There were no help from Finnair to find a "replacement" flight."

Fordeler: "Great flight, crew was very nice. I would rebook with British airways."

Fordeler: "British Airways operated this flight and it was a great experience. The seats were cramped, but almost to be expected for an economy service overseas."

Fordeler: "I did not like anything about this trip."
Ulemper: "Our flight from Chicago to Paris was managed by Finnair, but flown through American Airlines. This was the second disappointing flight on American Airlines. Our first flight was repeatedly delayed over three hours and then canceled. Everyone had to take a new flight the next day on the same plane which was scheduled to be fixed that morning prior to departure. We boarded the plane 45 minutes late and then were informed that the part needed to fix the plan had just cleared customs. After another hour of waiting on the plane, we taxied to the runway and the returned to the gate because another part needed to be fixed on the plane. We waited another hour and a half on the plane before finally taking off. Upon our arrival at Chicago O'Hare, we waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes before the ground crew parked our plane. Which brings me to this flight from Chicago O'Hare to Charles de Gaulle in Paris. Our flight was delayed for maintenance repeatedly for 2 hours and then a new plane had to be brought over. By the time we boarded we were almost four hours behind schedule due to a logbook problem once we boarded the new plane. The plane itself was small - the size of a domestic flight - and VERY cramped. On both of the flights we had no TVs in the headrest. This is something that I have always had in economy class on international flights. It was by far the most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. Because of the delay, we had to reschedule one of our two connecting flights. I was assured that our bags would still arrive at our final destination. When we finally reached our final destination, we found out that our bags had been lost along the way - most likely because of the flight being rescheduled."

Ulemper: "Maybe boarding... Sharing the gate with another flight at almost at the same time is a little an issue"

Ulemper: "the plane never landed and I had to fly out next day on Turkish airline. I lost my premium economy seats and had the worst seats flying home. very dissatisfied and would like compensation"

Fordeler: "The flight was relatively short, so that was nice."
Ulemper: "It left a lot to be desired for a Business Class fare."

Fordeler: "I liked that I wasn’t one of the people who had to sprint to my connection"
Ulemper: "Not way over booking all three of my flights. Each time the flights are asking people to change their plans for compensation."

Ulemper: "I am disabled and the ground crew and flight crew were terrific in helping me board and getting me to my connecting flight."

Fordeler: "There was in-flight entertainment. The flight was cheap."
Ulemper: "The food was the worst I have had in 12 years of EU-Asia flights. They missed two connections, causing over 11 hours of delay and arrived at a different airport. We had to spend 4 hours with visa procedures and rechecking luggage in Beijing without staff assistance. Deplorable."

Ulemper: "The seat creaked a lot and seemed to disturb the person sitting to my left when I moved the sitting part forward or back when I needed to."

Ulemper: "I was in the business class. Food was too salti Cabin stuff were clumsy Plates and glasses fell of their hands on the pasengers Many times dueing the flights. Chairs wrre stuck and a stuff member need to come every time i needed to change position."

Fordeler: "The fact that the Dreamliner plane is kind of new, maybe just a few years old. How it is tinting the window The support which you have under the feet The fact that is offering more entertainment on the flight"
Ulemper: "It will be nice to have inside of the seats a button which can start a massager"

Fordeler: "We liked the flights that we got switched to on Lufthansa."
Ulemper: "We checked in the night before and got confirmations by email and text. When we got to the airport and the flight was canceled, they said that they did not have our contact information!"

Ulemper: ""beds" not as comfortable as British Air, Qantas or Air NZ, which are all we have to compare it to Grasp of English of crew not great. Choices of menu in Business limited, especially for those not eating pork or beef (again,not our experience on the above mentioned airlines) The requested vegetarian meal was the same for both dinner and breakfast, and consisted of the same plain cooked vegetables and fresh fruits only"

Fordeler: "Crew was friendly, cabin was as expected. Luggage arrive safely and on time (was a little worried it would not show, because online checkin said I had to pick up luggage and recheck before flight) (Virgin tagged it to go all the way through). So did not gav any issue."

Ulemper: "Boarding at WAW was a joke - very disorganized and cramped gate area. Simple remedy is to give passengers guidance on where to line up for their assigned zone prior to boarding. No individual air ventilation - got hot and uncomfortable at times. Cramped economy seats - and if passenger in front of you fully reclines - your TV screen is almost in your lap. Hot meal included very rubbery chicken - obviously either overcooked or nuked too much. Attendants seemed indifferent or annoyed if you asked for individual attention outside of their normal rounds of serving drinks/etc (all I wanted was a Coke). I was essentially told to go to the back of the cabin and get my own drink... Upon arrival - de-planing took an eternity. We had a large group of teen band members traveling - who had scattered their instruments in overheads all around the plane. So anyone that was behind them had to wait until they figured out where all their stuff was stowed. OK - not necessarily LOT's fault - but again - a little thought and some hand's on guidance by the crew would have made it easier for the other passengers to get off the plane quicker after a 9 1/2 hour flight..."

Fordeler: "Could check my suitcase earlier (arrived at airport too early). I had a bit off over 23 kg but that did not pose any problem. Boarding was quiet fast and almost with timetable. The food was good and service provided pleasant. I was happy that we landed safely providing bad weather in Toronto that evening."

Ulemper: "the fact that my carry on bag was broken when we landed in Poland and no one from the staff took even a second to guide us about what can we do about it. the entertainment system was not good at all and the movie section was poor. our flight from TLV to Poland was canceled and they didn't know about it until 4 hours before the flight!!! Not sure I will fly with this airline again in the future."

Fordeler: "In Frankfurt it went through Lufthansa and the extra suitcase costed me $40 more as I’ve been told on the LOT website. Paid €107 where the web page of lot said $75"
Ulemper: "After check in luggage I had to wait one hour to take care of the luggage price so I get my tickets. All this should have been do e before without going to different counter. Also I didn’t liked that I had to check in on the automated machine."

Ulemper: "The check in process lacked. I unexpectedly had to check my bag, they charged me 70 Euro ($85) which required I go to two separate counters. One to check the bag and a second (upstairs) to pay. Both attendants lacked a sense of urgency. In fact, they acted like it was their job to go as slowly as possible. Even after I mentioned I was starting to feel stressed about the time. I overheard other attendants complaining about customers who check in late and expect them to move more quickly. I found their apathy offensive. To add insult to injury, they lost my bags. Having paid $85, which I think is outrageously and obscenely expensive, I'd at least expect my bag to be well taken care of. Sadly, it wasn't. The lost luggage counter was also apathetic, though I realize they are not LOT/Luftansa."

Ulemper: "one of our seats did not work properly (3D) and the crew constantly had to manually adjust the seat. It never would go into a full reclining position. Food was good but they did not serve everything that was listed on the menu. My wife ordered the pancakes with berries for breakfast and they said they did not have any. After they told us they did not have this item, another passenger from Russia sitting in 3A started complaining and they miraculously found the pancakes for this passenger. this leaves a bad impression about the service and not what you expect when you buy a business class ticket."

Fordeler: "Excellent flight attentive crew. Luggage handling super fast. Crew gave out some free extras to make up for the delay."
Ulemper: "Weather related delay not airline dependent"

Fordeler: "The trip was on Boeing 787, good legroom, and decent seat recline, food was ok and the flight was on time given that most transatlantic LOT Polish Airlines flights are delayed."
Ulemper: "The aircraft (B787) was a bit run down. Some of the cabin crew were unprofessional, at at times rude to passengers. No wine/beer offered during the dinner service. They offer "gourmet" cafe on-board for purchase, but one has to go all the way back of the plane to make a purchase, the flight attendants refuse to bring it to the passenger, which I found to be strange."
