Fordeler: We loved everything about Caldera Dolphin! Every room has a balcony with a view of the caldera. Greeted with a welcome glass of local wine. Bottle of wine and fruit in our room upon arrival. We had breakfast in our room every morning, which was a phenomenal taste adventure, and will keep you going all day long. Everything we had at the restaurant was excellent. You can walk to the charming village of Megalochori where there are a few boutiques and several dining options. There is a winery across the street. Phenomenal views. All of the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.
Ulemper: This is being picky...upon our arrival and departure at the airport, we booked our transportation through the hotel. From the airport to the hotel it was 25 euro, but on the return it was 30 euro (all cash), so be sure to have extra cash set aside if you go this route.

Fordeler: We were not delighted by the room with the plunge pool they offered at first, and they quickly gave us a better room with a dream view. The room was amazing, every single detail Was taken care of, including pillow scent, chocolate for the night, free hats etc. The hot tub on the corner with a view was amazing The breakfast is wonderful. The public infinity pool too.
Ulemper: Most of the rooms were not special without worthy views and with a weird configuration. The advertised plunge pool is not really a plunge pool but is less than a 2 by 2 m hottub. Privacy in general is very difficult to achieve in any of the balconies because neighbors up and down can see you and talk to you. The room we got was great, but it was a gentle upgrade from a different room; the other room was not worth the price. The hotel itself is worth the Price, specially the treatment to fix our initial dissatisfaction

We knew the hotel would be nice, really clean and completey equiped, but we were amazed by the staff who were extremely nice, helpfull and beyond. A special thanks to the young ladies who worked at the reception, and who definately made our stay special! We highly recommend this place

Fordeler: Can’t beat the location. Close walk to all the shops and restaurants in Oia. Beautiful views and the communal infinity pool is pretty breathtaking
Ulemper: This is a very expensive hotel and you’re really paying for the location, views and service. I would say the room we stayed in was pretty basic (superior suite). It was a good sized single room, all white, and balance of modern and authentic. However the bathroom was a little disappointing. They don’t really show pictures of the bathroom on the website, and makes sense. Specifically just the shower looks like a basic square gym shower, fairly small. It was clean, just not necessarily what we’ve experienced at other 5 star hotels ( at much lower prices). Also most of the plunge pools are closer to the room versus on the edge of the outdoor space, good for privacy but not as exciting for views, etc.

Fordeler: The location was superb with magnificent views out over the caldera. It's a beautiful place to stay; the pool area is lovely and the room is very nice. The bed was really comfortable! All of the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. The breakfasts were really good; they are delivered to an outside table at your stipulated time and you can sit there soaking up the incredible views..
Ulemper: The only thing I would recommend is that there would be tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Some mornings we woke up a long time before we'd requested our breakfast and it would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea. The property is quite close to the shops, restaurants and bars of Fira but there are quite a lot of stairs to negotiate. My husband has a bad knee and he struggled..

Reception was effortless checking in and checking out and the front desk staff and assistant manager were beyond helpful for anything you may need (from a car to an HDMI cord to watch GOT, lol) No complaints!

Ulemper: The only downside was that the honeymoon suite is not very private. The staff passes in front of the room balcony all the time, every 10 minutes more or less, on their way to staff storage/room. Some of them are very curious and they look inside the room and balcony. I would suggest changing the location of the staff storage and training the employees not to be curious and look inside the room. They should be more discreet.

In fact, this ranks among the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. What really set it apart was the exceptional staff - from the front desk to the porters to the restaurant, every single person anticipated my needs and offered their services before I even thought to ask... all with a sunny attitude. Fordeler: From the moment we stepped out of the taxi we were taken good care of! The hosts Rita and Nikos are very friendly, Rita provided us a lot of useful information, gave us tips, arranged car rental. The suite is amazing, the big private balcony and the magnificent view makes you fell king of the world :) Watching the sunset from our own hot tub is also unforgettable!! Breakfast on the balcony is a highlight as well, we especially loved the creamy greek yoghurt and the thick frappe. We spent there our wedding anniversary and we couldn't find a better place on Earth for that!
Ulemper: The mattress was a bit too soft for me, all in all not a big issue though.

Hjelp til å leie bil og bestille sunset cruise. Dette anbefales! Maten smakte utrolig godt på hotellet! Både den omfangsrike frokostbuffeten og lunsj-og middagsrettene var høydepunkter. Sentral beliggenhet i forhold til strand og promenaden med restauranter og butikker i Kamari. Like fornøyd i år som i fjor. Det er verdt hver krone. Tusen takk for oss!

Fordeler: My partner and I spent the last night of our babymoon in Santorini at this hotel (would have loved to stay longer but there was no availability). We were welcomed with a nice 5* reception, treats and an upgrade to a lovely room facing an inner court with beautiful flowers and a semi-private pool with massage jets where we relaxed that first afternoon. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great and breakfast was varied, delicious and served by the main pool. Upon check-out we were allowed to leave our luggage in the reception and use facilities all day until our night flight. Left the resort wishing we could have stayed longer.
Ulemper: Loved this place, so just little details: - Sun sets early in Kamari (5pm in hotel, max 6pm at the beach). - Spa facilities need to be booked in advance (not only treatments, also access to jacuzzi, etc. implies a fee and is booked for private use only), we tried to get a treatment the day we'd leave and unfortunately they were fully booked :-( - Small detail: both in the semi-private and in the general pool, the hydro-jets lasting time needs to be adjusted a bit longer (so you have time to go sit and enjoy the jet for a minute at least, before having to go push the button again).

Fordeler: Excellent location, not far from the beach/promenade. Plenty of other restaurants and also supermarkets around if that is what you are looking for. The breakfast was great. I especially loved the local dishes on offer as well as the standard egg/sausage/bacon etc. Excellent variety. We had dinner 3 nights at the hotel and again the food was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful, you couldn't ask for more. We arranged transfer to and from the airport and got greeted with a refreshing drink of orange as we arrived. Lovely touch. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with fabulous views over the complex. Such a lovely setting. The staff arranged excursions and taxis for us and nothing was to much trouble. Great selection of pools. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to return some day.
Ulemper: The only thing that could be improved on is that there were no tissues in the bathroom/bedroom, which I did mention to the manager and he said it was their intention to add this facility next season.

Fordeler: Infinity pool and view is nice for sunset. The breakfast was very yummy and they catered for vegan/allergies. Talal was very nice (the only staff member who was).
Ulemper: Pool was freezing cold, so insanely overpriced. The attitude of staff towards me and my partner was terrible, we assume because we didn’t look the type to be there (young and don’t look flashy rich in designer wear) so not worth the effort of being nice if they don’t think they’re going to get a big tip. We felt uncomfortable and judged when we left the privacy of our room. We were gifted this trip so we we aren’t millionaires, but we still had money to spend. But with cocktails being from 19 euros and beers 12 euros (small beer) it’s a bit of a joke. We took our money elsewhere, where we were treated nicely and fairly, and we felt happy to pay the price. Staff also knew nothing about the island and couldn’t answer questions. They were not helpful. The WIFI was TERRIBLE, and we would have used our mobile data however we didn’t get enough signal in our room. We called reception after 3 days of dealing with it to see if they could maybe fix it, but the lady on the phone just continued to say “are you sure your connected to the wifi?” Or “are you sure your connected to the RIGHT wifi?” - pretty much just insinuating that we were idiots. There is one wifi named CAVO TAGOO. It’s not like there was a ‘wrong’ wifi to be connected to. You can see multiple other balcony’s from your own balcony (we were in room 23) so there is NO privacy. You can also hear other people in their rooms. The spa turns on in the middle of the night, multiple times a night and it is very loud so don’t expect to sleep through it! Our ferry out of Santorini was at 3.20am. Reception INSISTED we get there an hour early (we were planning 30mins), so we did, and their driver made a 30minute drive into 15minutes because of how fast he drove. It was scary and unsafe. So then we got there 1 hour and 15 minutes before hand, when the ticket office didn’t even open until 2.50am. There was also a leak in the main bathroom area from the roof that left a little puddle every day.

Fordeler: Where to start?!!? Firstly the VIP pick up from the port with an awesome driver holding Mr and Mrs Shafik was a small yet amazing start! Our driver was extra friendly and gave us a little bit of history and orientated us to Santorini. Once we arrived the manager Evangelos and the staff gave us a beautiful welcome with some welcome drinks! All the staff were absolutely amazing over the whole stay - always friendly and wanting to help us - they went above and beyond! The facilities were exceptional! The views were to die for! The pictures don’t do it justice! The food was delicious - and the service even more amazing. Evangelos was so awesome - he upgraded our room and gave us a private pool because it was our honeymoon :) really exceptional guy! When we entered the room we had champagne waiting for us, and a room decorated with rose petals and candles. Would really recommend this place! Was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! Thank you to Evangelos and his whole team! Exceptional customer service! Really had the most perfect time here :)

Fordeler: Atrium Villa was perfect! Just a quick 10 minute walk into the heart of Fira but private so no one is looking right into your room from a bar or another hotel. We stayed in the superior suite which was a very quiet room that had a very large and clean bathroom with 2 sinks, two sitting rooms, big closets and a balcony. We had breakfast delivered by Yannis's wife Maria and ate it on the balcony which was such a nice way to start the morning! Yannis was very helpful with answers to all our questions and he helped us rent a car and book a boat tour around the caldera. Super nice hosts who take a great deal of pride in their hotel. His English is great too. The bus stop is close by as well. We felt very safe and happy staying at the Villa. Great price, great room and wonderful hosts! Our stay was in early October. I highly recommend staying here.

Fordeler: Located a short uphill walk to main part of Fira. In town but without the noise. Host Yanni is exceptional! Room is stunning - modern but with traditional dome ceiling and balcony. Cleanest property in Greek Islands. We booked this last minute as our ferry was cancelled and our trip changed. We are so glad it did! Yanni organised a cruise to volcanoes and islands, sunset dinner on boat was fabulous. Thank you Yanni - we will be back one day to Santorini!

The large beautiful room was kept immaculate with a lovely terrace where I had breakfast every morning prepared and served by Maria! Yogurt with cherry preserves that was to die for! fresh juice croissants,breads, cakes,coffee everything one could wish for! And Yannis is a treasure house of information about what to see and do on the island as well as where to eat! I felt so taken care of and cared for....I can’t recommend it highly enough! And so very reasonable! Atrium villa is located in a very quiet residential area one minute walk from the main square!

He explains the main tourist attractions clearly and also help us book the sailing tour, which is a memorable trip for us. The apartment is very close to the center of town. We can clearly feel that they really care about whether we are happy in Santorini. Yannis shared his true thoughts and feelings and gave us a lot of help and information, we are very happy to have some great communication with him. The breakfast that his wife prepared for us every morning was very delicious. We especially like the yogurt with sour cherry sauce. We never thought that the sour cherry sauce and yogurt would be so matching. This is prepared with love. Our room was very comfortable, clean, bright and warmly decorated, with a quiet and spacious balcony, ample shower space and a powerful water shower. Everything is what we like. Thanks Yannis for arranging everything properly for us. We are fortunate to have chosen our stay here, this will be a very precious memory.

Fordeler: We loved everything about Caldera Dolphin! Every room has a balcony with a view of the caldera. Greeted with a welcome glass of local wine. Bottle of wine and fruit in our room upon arrival. We had breakfast in our room every morning, which was a phenomenal taste adventure, and will keep you going all day long. Everything we had at the restaurant was excellent. You can walk to the charming village of Megalochori where there are a few boutiques and several dining options. There is a winery across the street. Phenomenal views. All of the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.
Ulemper: This is being picky...upon our arrival and departure at the airport, we booked our transportation through the hotel. From the airport to the hotel it was 25 euro, but on the return it was 30 euro (all cash), so be sure to have extra cash set aside if you go this route.

Fordeler: This property is located at a place which provides one of the best Caldera View in whole of Santorini. Right from check in to check out everything was perfect. IVETA is just awesome. She advised, planned and booked almost everything for us. Her recommendation of the restaurant, Catamaran Sunset Cruise and even the temperature of hot tub was perfect and added to the comfort of our stay in Oia Santorini. She told us the best spot and best time reach to see the famous sunset point and even the famous blue tomb church point for some amazing photographs. The main Oia Caldera street starts from where the hotel pick up point is (main road) and it's just a 2 minute walk from hotel. There was complimentary pick up and she arranged our drop to airport (again complimentary) with the catamaran company which again was simply fantastic customer experience. The breakfast was a very nice spread selected by us and was served right at our terrace on a timing of our choice. This was the highlight of our stay, amazing breakfast with an even amazing view. The hot tub has decent space for two people and you have absolute privacy in your terrace. The room was big and very clean. The bathroom was also pretty nice and had everything. There was coffee machine, humidity pacifier and a smart tv with netflix, youtube (if you got that much time). You need to walk down some 20-25 stairs to reach the hotel but the view is all worth it.

Fordeler: Our panoramic villa was great! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a phenomenal stay. Although considerably pricey, it offered almost everything we were looking to have in our stay. We we were right in front of the main corridor, where people walk, but still had enough privacy and also did not have to go up/down the steps at all, which was a major plus. The bed was the most comfortable one I have stayed at...and I am an experienced traveler. Great views from the second floor terrace (loved the perfectly temperature-adjusted jacuzzi). If you do not want to go up/down the steps that is quite typical in Santorini, then this is the room for you...no steps! (has two floors, one big room on each, with their own bathroom).
Ulemper: The one thing I was a bit disappointed was the fact that we could not see the sunset from our terrace or anywhere in the villa. I thought that was going to be the case. For the price that we paid, I was expecting toiletries to be more "upgraded" and at least some free items in the small fridge. Other than that, everything was great.

The place we got was big with bathroom, bedroom, and living room. After checkout the hotel staff help us up the stairs with luggage. The location is awesome too. Just up the stairs you can get awesome view of the sunset above the caldera. The Fira bus and taxi station is one street away.

Fordeler: Atlantis is an excellent option to stay in Santorini. A great view from the restaurant (breakfast with good variety or nice meals ) is available with a great service from staff. You can order your drinks and relax with an AMAZING sunset from the hotel. The view from the room is also breathtaking, so we were very thankful by the opportunity to enjoy this hotel.
Ulemper: Swimming pool is not so well located and small. in despite of being nice. There's no official parking lot at hotel, so sometimes you arrive close and there's no available spaces for your car (in case you rented any). Not big issues...

Fordeler: The location of the property is excellent you are right in the city center of Fira on the side of the cliffs looking out over the caldera and the beautiful Santorini sunset. There are steps down to arrive at the property but we were greeted by Demetrius who generously carried our bags to our room. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best with new specialties everyday. So relaxing watching that long lasting sunset from our private balcony!

Fordeler: Hotel Villa Renos is what you would describe as a place with a soul of its own. The location is unique, the view breathtaking, the facilities exceed one's expectation while the tasteful furniture and decoration make you feel like a guest in the traditional sense. The service provided is the epitomy of Greek hospitality one of the highlights being the breakfast, which includes fresh homemade delicacies and is truly one of the best we have ever had.
Ulemper: There is absolutely nothing we did not like.

Fordeler: We loved everything about our stay. We were picked up from the port then all our luggage was carried for us to our hotel which included stairs so we were very grateful. Our room had the most incredible view and the sunset was truly spectacular. Breakfast was amazing and so plentiful. The location is perfect and close to the shops and restaurants. There is nothing bad to say about this property. Vasili and his staff do a wonderful job and we hope to return there one day. Thank you so much for what was truly a highlight of our trip.

Fordeler: Everything was great! Vassiles was amazing! His staff all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was 5 star. A four course breakfast as well as a continental breakfast buffet. Room was great! Jacuzzi spa on the balcony over looking the volcano! Walking distance to the main bus station. Shopping and restaurants all in walking distance.

Fordeler: The view was the best we ever saw. Nice hotel and the owner was very helpful with any of our questions. Santorini is a beautiful place and we were happy, that we choose the right hotel. Next time we would prefer a room on the higher floor .

Fordeler: The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and sweet. We had a 6 month old baby with us and we felt absolutely comfortable here. The room was lovely. Not luxurious, but perfectly simple. The bathroom was a little cramped, but it didn't bother us too much!

Fordeler: The staff was very nice and helpful, location was also great, close to the city and the bus station.
Ulemper: Was smaller than expected, the room looked bigger on the pictures. I thought we will have a sofa and stuff, but the room was basically just the three beds and a small space to walk around the beds. The beds were comfortable but a little bit too small, even for us not-so-tall girls. The shower was really small and it flooded all the time. After one person took a shower, the whole bathroom was flooded with water and it was a little bit messy to walk around in the room afterwards.

Fordeler: I like the location. It's just a 5 min walk from the bus station which is very suitable for a solo traveller like me. It's within the center but it's not crowded nor you couldn't hear any noise. And oh, Indoor pool is a great idea especially in this kind of season.
Ulemper: Just had a little complaint about the bathroom. I'm petite but I still find it too small and whenever I took a shower, the water would be all over the floor.

Fordeler: The staff were really nice. They allowed us to leave our luggage from an early and late flights. You can also use the shower room by the pool. The room was pretty big and clean with a little balcony. Walking distance to the Fira center and bus terminal.
