Hard to beat for the price point. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Highlights: 1) The staff: Never saw anyone at the hotel who WASN'T smiling. They went above and beyond to provide relevant and useful advice, arrange any excursions, and improve the stay. 2) The facilities: The common areas were beautiful, the room was spacious and comfortable. 3) The convenient location: The hotel is located across from a couple shops (including a grocery store) and just down the street from the nightlife and tourist attractions- without being so close that you have to hear the bass of the clubs all night (unless you are into that!) Santorini is renowned for its panoramic views of the beach- this location does not provide that. Also, the rooms are not sound proof so if you are a light sleeper it could be an issue.
The views, the wonderful staff and the breakfast served on the balcony every morning . Great for couples None
Location is great Bathroom toilets are in a real tight space Beautiful location, excruciating walk
Very good location, nice pool area and terraces, excellent staff, good with fridge in the room and the possibility to bring your own drinks outside. Rooms are more 3 star standard but the outdoor hotel area is very nice which compensate.
The view was amazing! The staff was very helpful. The beds are uncomfortable.
when we complained see the below we got upgarded to a lovely hotel. Except we had to stay one more night in Athina we were underneath the breakfast terrace and everytime someone moved a chair to sit down it would be noisy in our room. We were next to the pool and when the filters were turned on in the morning it had a loud humming noise in our room. The bed was very old and everytime one of us moved it was squeak. Because of the above it was not worth the price
The personal service was wonderful. The fellow that works there even carried one of our bags up all the stairs to the street level...unexpected assistance that was greatly appreciated, thank you :)) The view was to die for and the sunsets were amazing. We had a great balcony and could even use the wifi outside!! One friendly suggestion - perhaps a longer shower curtain or higher shower surround to prevent water all over floor.
God valutta for pengene.
This hotel was excellent! Great location, helpful staff and very relaxing by the pool. Most important to know are directions as website is not accurate and no pick up from airport or ferry offered. Walk up the pedestrian street (Main St) over the cobble stones and walk up the hill about 600m, walk past Hertz and turn left just after Sun Sand & Sports and you will see the hotel. There are no signs and most locals don't know where it is.
The staff are very professional and work hard to please their clients. We loved the proximity of the hotel to everything we wanted to see in downtown Fira, the suggestions made by Ana the manager, and the handling of the overbooking issue. For the question about the usefulness of the reviews, there are not any displayed yet.
It was a quiet hotel, with friendly staff and generally good service. A perfect place to escape from the world. I had to ask for the bed linen to be changed on one day.
The staffs are very nice. we loved the environment. and it is close to the Fira center, just few walking time. lovely hotel!!!!
Super place to stay in Fira. Location is fantastic and plenty of room. A quiet place in the centre of town. Htel staff go out of their way to make you feel special..
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Fira location was convenient. The hotel, an updated former mansion, was very charming. The view is not that spectacular since the hotel is not at the edge of the cliff and is surrounded by other buildings. I would have preferred a view that shows more of the sea and volcano.
Central location, clean, nice staff and hotel.
Location, location, location... Curtains too thin, bathroom less lights, a/c behind the curtains, bed could have been bigger in size.
Aria Lito was a lovely place that provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help.
The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Wonderful and sweet location. Everything nice and clean. Site is located in the centre of Fira but still really quiet. A place to relax.
We've had a wonderful stay in this fantastic and hotel for our honeymoon. It's just located on the cliff of Firostefani and very close to that famous church on most of the postcards. The view from the private balcony is absolutely amazing and we watch the sunset everyday there. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are full equipped in the room and also the design is quite...
very good location and rooms are good and clean. friendly staff
Good location, staff were friendly, rooms were lovely and clean.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great.
THe location. The staff was rude and the floor in our room was dirty.
We loved this hotel. I was worried a bit that it would be a typical business hotel (based on pictures from internet) but it has been recently renovated and it was great. It is totally beautiful butique hotel, in a great location to all the bars, clubs, restaurants, bus station (so we could easily reach all locations and we don't like to walk). We loved it and would stay there again. There was nothing that we did not like about this hotel. Staff was great both at reception, bars, pools and otherwise. The hotel was quite but very close to all the action. Just perfect. So the best of both worlds. We were a group of girls and we really enjoyed it. Drinks & food at the hotel are also delicious. It is a 5 star hotel.
The beauty of both the room (including its balcony) and the lobby and breakfast area. I liked everything.
Staff was very helpful in providing information about local attractions and transportation. Conveniently located in Fira and was within very easy walking distance to the bus station. Breakfast provided a good selection and varied daily.
Excellent, convenient location with fitness center... We arrived just days before the hotel was closing for the season and that's exactly how it felt--like it was closing down.
Breakfast, pool and staff service
Central location: It is close to the bus depo and town centre but very quiet (at least in our room during our stay). Convenience: There is a supermarket across the street from the hotel, it is really important to have bottled water in large quantity all the time in Santorini, because the tap water is not recommended for drinking. Size of the room: Our room is large enough even by North American standards. Breakfast room: It is large and bright by the swimming pool. You can also sit under the embrellas of the pool. Not enough furniture. There's a desk plus two small night tables, this is all the furnitures in our room besides the beds and the luggage rack. Like many european hotels, the bathroom is very small.
Staff was very friendly. Very close to town. Nice balcony. Bed was too hard. Pool was freezing!
the hotel is amazing, best location in santorini, fabulous accom and staff
The staff made our stay at Porto Fira Suites, nothing was a problem and they were so friendly and helpful. Combined with a stunning environment and great rooms it was a wonderful stay.
This was a beautiful hotel. The view is magnificent! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are really nice and unique. They are very organized and professional and very friendly. Close to everthing but still not in the middle so you get some peace and quiet too! Takes about 3 minutes to walk up to the main street! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everybody! The only minus was that the balcony isnt very private.. They're like big terraces where you just have your own area & since the hotel is built on a cliff, it means that people walking by the hotel can look straight down on you. It was a little annoying t times when you want your privacy. Some rooms also have people walking right by their windows so no privacy if you dont close all the drapes..
view awesome; service by staff excellent. bathroom was very poor; mould on ceiling and looking very old. Breakfast was poor considering the cost of stay.
it was as i had imagined it to be with regard to location. - being small gave great privacy, staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The management, the staff, the view, the room, the design and the location. It is the best hotel that l stayed so far.
The hotel was dramatically set inside the cliffs! My room was the lowest one on the mountainside and it was 92 steps up to the gate to the hotel! But well worth the climb! Very friendly staff.
Staff is outstanding. Had a wonderful visit in Santorini. Strength of WiFi signal could improve.
Convenient location if you want to be central to Fira (not the nicest place on the island though!) We were upgraded and treated v well. Fantastic view and pool It's a bit too in the middle of it all to feel really relaxing. It's all very luxurious, but there's something of a soul missing from it (as with many of the 'luxury' hotels in Santorini
staff were lovely and the setting and views were stunning could not get internet access in our room
The position of the hotel, amazing... and not many steps for Santorini as my husband has knee problems Did not have a private balcony, our room was next to reception, a bit noisey in morning with staff walking past talking.
The location and the view of the vulcano from their pool was spectacular. The personal of the hotel was very friendly and tried to do their best for a pleasant stay. First, our reservation overlaped with other reservation so in the last two nights they had to move us to another hotel. The good part was that the second hotel was nicer, at least the room and the service was amazing, just that it was located in Oia. So at the end we were happy after this incident. Another issue that we had was that at Cosmopolitan hotel we reserved a standard room, and it was sooo small that u couldn´t even move ( around 12m 2 all room with bathroom). In the first night I fell that I don´t have enough air in the room, but at the end I got used with it. So if u truly want to enjoy ur stay book a suite.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the pool area are stunning and you are right in the centre of town, but still away from the hustle and bustle.
This is an awesome hotel, we were greeted upon entrance with champagne and friendly staff. The host has many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants! And of course the pool is one of the best places to sit and relax in all of Santorini! Thanks to everyone at the Cosmo for a great stay.
The Emerald Suite was amazing, breath taking views of the Caldera's, comfortable bed, huge bathroom and all the little added extras that topped off our stay. We were not met at the airport as arranged so we took another taxi who ended up dropping us at the wrong place we phoned Adamant and they promptly came and met us. Also not all suites are totally private however it is hard to fault.
Great staff to guest ratio; great rooms, fabulous view, fabulous breakfast, great jacuzzi
We stayed in the Emerald Suite - the room was great and the view was jaw dropping. The thing i loved most were the breakfasts that were on our balcony overlooking the volcano and the sea. The staff were great and very helpful and the location is ideal because its not in the center of the fira hustle and bustle. One issue were the 30 or so stairs that we had to climb up!
Very helpful personnel, exclusive breakfast service, magnificent view The pool is shared with another (less luxury) hotel. There was no available sunbeds at the poolside. Sunbeds at own balcony are not really convenient for sun baths
The service was great, the room was amazing and the pool and other services were also very good. Highly recommended
Great View of the Caldera. The Aquamarine Suite is secluded from the other suites and is the most private. Although there are a lot of stairs to climb, it was not too diffcult. Katrina and the rest of the staff go out of their way to be of assistance to the guests.
Everything was perfect at this hotel would def recommend to anyone. Staff very friendly and willing to help and location even better
Nice little hotel with 6 suites, our room was the opal with alot of privacy and gorgeous views of the volcano and the caldera. excellent service, little tough to find the hotel, but almost all of them have the same issue. all in all a great experience
The location of the suite was looking out over the caldera, what a view. Breakfast on the balconey and the hot-tub for two - super! The room was very very comfortable and the price was right. Ok, There are those steps, but well worth the trouble.
God service av hyggelige og hjelpsomme mennesker.Sentral beliggenhet nær byens sentrum og busstasjon.Gratis internettilgang.
Mulighet for å sitte ute i boblebad m utsikt.
very friendly staff, always smiling and very happy to help when needed :)
Wonderful hotel staff. Great location...lovely jacuzzi. Would definately stay here again.
In Summer Time Hotel I like the most the helpfull staff, the modern decoration of the room, the clleanliness of the room and its location clode to all things needed like bus sto, supermarket, taxi station, night clubs, restaurants, fast food, travel angencies and all these a capital offers. I surely recommend this hotel either for family vations or for friends vacations.
The location (2 mins walk from the main square in Fira) was great! The room was basic but cosy and had a nice feel to it. The staff was lovely! Also the free wi-fi was a nice thing, even 4* hotels in Greece don't always provide this. At the price we got it for it was an absolute bargain.
