Fordeler: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Ulemper: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

Unluckily Kayak did not forward my contact details to the other brookers in between and definitely not to Swiss. Never Kayak again."

The economy seats were extremely uncomfortable and tight, unlike other Int’l flights we have been on, ie, Virgin and British Airlines 2.Food was the worst we have ever had on an Int’l Flt. 3. Main meal selection ran out. Staff said there was nothing they could fo. 4. Our suitcase arrived really beat up. It looked like it was dragged along the tarmac. There were several large rips. To make it worse, this was the first trip we have used the suitcase."

Ulemper: "We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."

Ulemper: "Seats in coach are cramped and some have an electrical box under the seat in front of you, so there is no room for your legs or carry on bag. Bathrooms keep getting smaller to jam in more seats."
Fordeler: "They magically appeared with water when I got thirsty and were all great. Veg entree from Hiltl good but a little surprising. Baked apple slices on top of mac & cheese? Sure, why not.? And 2 chocolate bars this flight!"
Ulemper: "Again could not check in online., or at self-serve kiosk at airport. General complaint to all airlines: You can do better with boarding efficiency."

Fordeler: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."

Ulemper: "Upgraded seats to Preimium. I had a metal box blocking my foot so was very uncomfortable the entire flight. Not worth the upgrade and was very surprised this seat was considered an upgrade."

Ulemper: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Ulemper: "I would have like an announcement to let me know what times food will be served. I woke up just as the crew had passed my row for breakfast and then couldn't get the attention of the lady to serve me breakfast. A vegan option for the menu would be excellent. The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. This option was never offered to me at check-in."

Ulemper: "You have to pay for second piece of luggage flying from US to Asia. Most airlines allow two pieces for these destinations even for economy class."
Ulemper: "They checked at the gate all our hand luggages to make sure we didnt exceed the 8 kilo mark. This is very cheap and only suitable for the low cost airlines. I expect swiss air as a higher class flight to turn a blind eye on this matter"

Ulemper: "As a person of color I didn't feel that I received the same warm welcome from some of the attendants. For example the expression on their faces were blank when I said hello. I picked up my food tray and gave it to the attendants very politely. She just took it out of my hand. When the passenger next to me did the same she said thank you very politely. He was Caucasian. Some were very friendly and polite."

Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed from budapest to Istanbul, causing us to miss our connecting flight to San Francisco. The staff was rude and unhelpful in finding a way home, ultimately sending us to New York City for an overnight layover without hotel accommodations. We had to sleep at the airport for a morning flight to San Francisco, causing us to miss work. This was the worst travel experience of my life."

So, in the future (yes I plan on flying through Turkish Airlines exclusively for international travel), I will book my flightts with a larger "gap" between flights! Otherwise....Turkish Airlines is PERFECTO!☺"

Fordeler: "For the price difference between turkish air and direct flights to Rome, for three people, we actually paid for ten days' room and meals. Although the plane was late in leaving, making us miss our connection (which was only one hour) in Istanbul...but Turkish Air paid for our hotel stay near the airport and the delay to our itinerary was minor."

The guy next to me insisted on putting his legs and arms into my side of the seat. A direct connection to Turkish Airlines website would be helpful instead of WebJet."

Ulemper: "The food on the way back was bad. My wife's was still frozen, which grossed her out, it was ziti pasta. My pasta was crispy raw. The worse part was temperature of plane. It was too hot which made sleeping difficult."

Fordeler: "Despite all other issues I got to Vienna on time."
Ulemper: "- there was a gate change less than half an hour before boarding, which was not announced via speaker or on the screen in the previous gate - therefore most people were still in the previous gate and only because one of the passengers realized and communicated the change everyone else became aware of it as well -> then everyone ran to the new gate, which did not have enough seating and where children were crying because they did not understand the hectic - On board - just before departure - two families got into an argument and yelled at each other and the crew. They were very loud and aggressive. - Usually I love the food Turkish Airlines serves, but this time I had dry and oily pasta and a very strange and too sweet chocolate mousse. I did not enjoy eating this and it did not taste fresh at all. - There was no entertainment."

Ulemper: "My seat was terribly uncomfortable. The airplane temprature was really low that it made me so sick. I had a missing luggage where i did not hear any updates from Turkish Airlines for 5 days. I ALWAYS fly Turkish Airline internationally when going to Turkey. But after my last experience, i am not so sure"

I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."
Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."

Ulemper: "New planes have 9 sits in the rove (economy class) which affects the passengers comfort."
Ulemper: "We left Frankfort very late, we had not even moved half an hour after we were supposed to have left. They apparently changed our flight plan to try to make up time, and flew faster; but the conclusion was we were supposed to arrive at 18:25 and didn't arrive until well after 19:00. Refund"
Ulemper: "The plane is still on the run way waiting for a gate & I’ll miss my shuttle bus to my next stop. Darn..."

Ulemper: "the second leg from FRA to BUD entailed a massively disorganized, no queue control free for all to go through the boarding gates, all of which just led to an overcrowded bus.... which meandered through the airport to your jet on the tarmac.. they then allowed boarding from either rear or front of plane which of course lead to the throngs meeting in the middle and trying to squeeze past each other... horrible. Then... the checked bag did not make it to Budapest as they forgot to transfer it in FRA. so, yeah all in all it was a cheap flight and we got what we paid for."

Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."
Ulemper: "Our luggage was the last to arrive planeside from our late flight from Vancouver. We saw out luggage on the cart next to the plane, but apparently someone decided not to put it on the plane. We are now at least 24 hours without our luggage (we still don't have it) and cannot take advantage of our very expensive vacation. I must say, we will stop using Lufthansa and all partner airlines. This is completely unacceptable. I have received no communication at all from Lufthansa to explain why our bags were not loaded onto the plane, even though we saw them out the window, on the cart, next to the plane, before door closure. I am wondering if someone at Lufthansa decided it would be fun to ruin our vacation?"
Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."
Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."
Fordeler: "Despite not being able to recline my seat, I at least had room for my legs, unlike the last flight."
Ulemper: "My seat was unable to recline. Boarding was a bit chaotic, and the constant shuttling around Frankfurt airport is just ridiculous. (Not that the airline can do anything about it)."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."
Fordeler: "As a Germany company all was in place on time and well done."

Ulemper: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Ulemper: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Fordeler: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Ulemper: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."
Fordeler: "Excellent experience with the cabin crew."
Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Fordeler: "The crew were just amazing, such lovely male stewards! They were helpful and friendly and generally wonderful."
Ulemper: "The entertainment was quite dated and didn't have new movies etc"
