Fordeler: Empty seats
Ulemper: Everything else. Staff was rude and did not speak English, food was terrible, and the airport was very confusing. We had a 4 hour layover at Xiamen airport and instead of going straight to our gate, they made us go through immigration, then transfer services, then back through immigration. We landed at 5am, the transfer services open at 6, then check in opens at 6:50, but we weren’t allowed to check in until 8am because our flight was at 10am. We basically stood in line without anyone giving clear instructions and waited at different line ups for 1 hour each. Horrible airplane, horrible airport. Never transferring here again.
Ulemper: The check in staff did not let me check in and denied to support me! The reason was that my first name, middle name and last name were written in English order, not in Chinese order! I want my money back! All of my plan and meetings in Xiamen were cancelled!
Fordeler: Very responsible and kind cabin crew. We were delayed by maybe 8-10 hours because of weather. The crew would have to work all night, but were very kind about the situation.
Ulemper: Short flight; so there was no real in-flight entertainment. That's really alright though.
Fordeler: Crew were nice and friendly

Ulemper: Not much leg room on economy class. 200 $ extra makes the trip better
Fordeler: The crew was very attentive, and the food was outstanding.
Ulemper: The wine list was a bit limited.
Fordeler: The seat & the food were better than I’d expected, and, of course, that’s a *big* part of the experience.
Ulemper: I had to file a claim with Turkish because my new suitcase (not an expensive suitcase, but still) got seriously chewed up and is now unusable. At least it made it to the destination on time! And the contents were only slightly damaged. I will be happy if I get reimbursed for the suitcase.
Fordeler: Crew was good but could be better...timeing was very good.

Ulemper: WC size (too small) and location. Other airlines such as Lufthansa (NYC - Munich) do way better job in this category ( I believe Lufthansa aircraft was either A330 or 340)

Ulemper: As we landed we had to wait on the plane for an hour and a half because another plane (Spirit) was in our “parking spot.” This made it very difficult for people and connecting flights.

Fordeler: Boarding was great. There is priority boarding available for those booked on connecting long haul premium economy flights.
Ulemper: The seat was very uncomfortable. For a 2 hour flight, it was okay. Any longer would have been difficult.

Ulemper: Crew were all over the place (at Club Europe Cabin) and very unorganised. We went to galley few times to ask them to bring us drinks even thou they have taken our orders. They need more training to be at Club Europe Cabin. The seats should be more comfortable and should give people more leg rooms.
Ulemper: Took a very long time to empty the plane via staircases. For a 747, I expected a jetway at Heathrow.
Fordeler: Good service
Ulemper: Old plane, walking distance to board the plane is so far
Ulemper: I didn't like your time tables where you use only 12 hrs. It's okay to go all the way to 24 instead of 12/12 I had to rebook my ticket at additional expenses
Fordeler: Boarding on time, efficient flight, handled well, on time at destination.
Ulemper: Long check in queue, many counters closed, counter staff seemed very busy with talking to their colleagues while checking in passengers. I am used better from Garuda.
Fordeler: The boarding procedure from CGK T3 is pretty smooth and good!
Ulemper: The food... taste quite weird. It’s a far far cry from the standard of an Indonesian food.
Fordeler: Just on time flight, good service from crew on board.
Ulemper: They do not offer liquor in an international flight. Long wait for baggage at SVO. Entertainment service has poor usability.
Fordeler: A simple connecting flight turned into a complete joke!!! Somehow, despite flying Aeroflot all the way from Sofia to St Pete, the tickets sold to us were sold via Bulgaria Air, which meant we had to collect suitcases and re-check them at Moscow, all while we were not checked-in for the second leg!! LastMinute.Com is hands down the WORST travel website in the history of travel websites, as the above was not disclosed at any time. NEVER again will I even entertain booking via them.
Ulemper: LastMinuye.Com - the worst experience ever ... and now thankfully never again
Fordeler: They let me buy a beer at off hours from regular food and drink service. Movie choices were good.
Ulemper: Really noisy, rattling sounds through most of the trip. Not very generous with drinks, of all types. Old and unfriendly entertainment system. They need newer jets.

Ulemper: Air port does not have automatic internet connection We were there for 8 hours with no internet because we had no international roaming to receive the PIN via SMS. The four PINS generated by the counter staff did not work. We all took turn to try to no avail. by then we have walked too far from the counter we could not be bother going back. No airport that I've been to had poor internet service connection like this airport, yet it is supposed to be THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE AIRLINE. We boarded at 11.30pm, last time we flew with them they gave us supper. Last night they gave us only water. We went to sleep hungry till the morning. Since when they started to operate like those cheap airlines that you have to pay for your food? And the night package did not have eye mask.... how could we sleep... ? Singapore airline could learn from Qtar. Very very disappointed.

Ulemper: Small, uncomfortable economy seating. Crew came by infrequently but were attentive when they came.

Ulemper: A lot of delays, on both flights. We spent twice as much time waiting than flying.
Ulemper: Lost a single baggage item, a car seat. Critical for us to leave the airport, and delayed us for over an hour upon arrival. Gave us a loaner car seat that barely fit our child.
Fordeler: Crew was nice and friendly
Ulemper: Airplane so uncomfortable. Food horrible. Not even available for one of us what we ask for on what was offered. Bad taste and not what can be on a that length of time flight.
