Ulemper: "I asked when i got my ticket for a window seat and he said he gave me one but he did not in the two flights I got. I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

Im 1.75cm (medium) and I felt squeesed and very unconfitable not like in Lufthansa airplane flying from Newark to Dussldorf. (Flight only 6:15min) In addition, when front passenger moved his seat back on me I had a lot of difficulties with getting in and out of my seaat."
Fordeler: "It was an 8.5 hour flight and we got fed 2 meals, 2 snacks and had lots of beverage breaks! We were delayed a little but it was due to an issue in France, not anything to do with the airplane, and the captain found a solution faster than he had originally said he would (with the help of the tower of course)."

Ulemper: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."
Fordeler: "Good entertainment variety. Food was good, including snacks. Generous with drinks as well. Crew was polite and friendly."
Ulemper: "Letting us know about the delay prior to boarding could have allowed us to use our time better. Instead we sat at the gate and in the plane. Seats (economy) a bit closer to each other relative to other planes and the armrest does not fully go up which does not allow us to use space as much as possible."
Fordeler: "I cannot check in online for us flights so I need to get my seat at the check in. I am flying with swiss every month between Zürich and New York but a lot of Ines I get a shitty seat even if I am silver status As a frequent flyer I expect a priority handling which is not the case . No upgrade poaaibility due to wrong booking class (even if flights are very expensive) if this continues to go that way I will change airline alliance This is more a miles and more issue but it is really annoying me in a way that I really consider changin"

Ulemper: "The earphones are bad and connector is 2 pins, so couldn't use mine."
Ulemper: "Sound for on-screen entertainment not working. It was static-y all the time and completely cut out the rest of the time. I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

Ulemper: "Airplane wasn't clean, we had hair on the headrest cover and asked one of the crew members for new headrest cover but was ignored."

Fordeler: "This direct flight from Zurich-Newark is pretty comfortable, especially if you get the two seats at the either sides of the plane (it's a 2x4x2 config in Coach). The food is really good, they are generous with drinks and the crew is really friendly and smiling! Would take this flight again without any reservations in future!"
Fordeler: "I was supposed to visit my father who was just put in a nursing home for a few days and the day of my flight I received an email from Swiss that they had rebooked me for the next day! So frustrating! The trip would have gotten so short that it wasn't worth it so I had to reschedule it 6 weeks out. It got my dad really upset! Thank god his health is stable at the moment."

Fordeler: "The food was delivered fast. The meals were delicious, especially the chicken and polenta. I also appreciated the ice cream and I enjoyed the selection of movies and television. I also appreciated the map and trip information display."
Fordeler: "Professional Staff; best food on international flight ever."
Fordeler: "The flight attendants were stellar--polite, respectful, helpful, attentive. I want to particularly commend the attendant who, after I notified her that someone was very ill in the adjacent bathroom, stood discreetly nearby and offered the person a glass of water when he emerged. Very considerate."
Ulemper: "The transfer was a horrible, stressful experience. We knew it as a short connection but Lufthansa had accepted it. On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

Ulemper: "•We boarded and consequently landed late, which caused my cousin to miss his connecting flight, coupled with the long customs process upon landing. There was no accommodation given to my cousin so I have to take him back home with me and then drive 2 hours tomorrow morning to bring him back for his new flight. •The charger ports for our seats were not working, which means we were 8 hours + without a phone. •One female flight attendant had a bad attitude and dropped pretzels in my lap after I turned to quickly ask my cousin a question regarding what drink he wanted. •The plane landing was one of the most reckless I’d ever witnessed."

Ulemper: "The whole trip was a nightmare. I go out of my way to NOT fly United, In this case Lufthansa somehow just sold the ticket and United was flying it and as usual it was horrendous. We had to be re-routed via 3 separate flights jus to make our international connection thanks to our initial flight being moved up 2 hours EARLY. They closed the door in our faces. That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

Ulemper: "The descent was very uneven, with long sudden drops in altitude. The touchdown was hard enough, but much worse was the apparent loss of control immediately afterward as the plane swerved left and right for 5-10 sec. No acknowledgement or explanation was given by the crew."

Fordeler: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Ulemper: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."
Ulemper: "Whole experience with them was a nightmare and is still ongoing. They won't help me so I had to turn to Amex to settle everything and get my money back. Unbelievable. The airport had to close due to an emergency, that's out of Lufthansa's hands I obviously understand that. However, the way we were "helped" through all of this was unbelievable- over two and a half hours of phone calls with them, while in Europe (so paying God knows what per minute), 4 hours to get my luggage back so we could leave, absolutely no one from Lufthansa around to help or even tell us what's going on, put us on a flight the following day with two layovers now (paid more for only one layover but what can I do). Next day, at Alitalia gate (Lufthansa put me on an itinerary with flights from Alitalia, Lufthansa and United) had to pay AGAIN to check the bag that I had just paid to check the previous day where we did not end up flying anywhere (showed Alitalia the receipt, they didn't care in the slightest and said its Lufthansas problem, 0 stars for them as well), either way finally got through our 2 layovers, only to discover the final leg of our trip (United/ Lufthansa flight) is delayed 3 hours. Just about to board, now it's delayed another 5 hours. Because we were short a pilot...... Short a pilot, really....? Ended up getting home at 2am on a work night, completely jet lagged and utterly exhausted from being in an airport for 2 straight days. Supposed to get compensation as per United flight crew, only I put my ticket information in the website and it doesn't work for me of course because I have a Lufthansa ticket. No one cares, no one helps, now it's time for Amex to step in and get all of my money back."

Ulemper: "Boarding should be done from the back of the plane to forward which would get rid of the bottle neck when trying to get on. It was not an Iceland plane and there was no entertainment available."

Ulemper: "Boarding procee in Iceland for Saga class means you get called up first to wait in line for bus to plane. There you wait for others to check in the gate. Then you proceed to board the bus. Saga class was with everyone. By the time we got on board waiting to climb the stairs we were soaked from the rain. Our bags were marked priority yet to our dismay it took 20 minutes for our bags to come on the carosill after others started getting there bags. Glad We had those priority stickers as we were clearly in the last of the bunch. 0"
Fordeler: "All was fine: economy seats with great legroom; helpful, nice crew; efficient updates from icelandair - had a flight delay, which resulted in an overnight in Iceland that turned into a mini vacation."
Ulemper: "Delay and missed connection caused getting back to work a day late but it was a fun interruption."
Fordeler: "At least IA has great entertainment system with many movie options."
Ulemper: "Iceland Air has no self baggage check area. It appears that SAS has a monopoly here and handles everything, which means waiting in multiple lines even if you self check and print bag tags at the kiosk. What’s the point if you have to go the service area to check your bags?"
Fordeler: "Movie selection was good."
Ulemper: "I am an adult, the staff patronized me and tried to give me a box of food multiple times that specifically says it is for people ages 2 to 11 years of age. They did not do this to any other passengers. Also when I ordered and paid for my food certain items were missing (I believe because I told them I was upset that they thought I was under 11 years of age) when I am more than double that age. It also took ages to get on the plane and there were delays when trying to land as well. The staff needs to also learn better english and other languages besides icelandic."

Ulemper: "Hour long delay followed by tarmac bus drop off and boarding to wrong plane. We then got back on the bus and drove around in circles for 10 minutes until the correct plane was located."
Fordeler: "Plane boarded and left mostly on schedule. The price was pretty incredible, I paid a fraction of what I expected based on previous trips to Europe."
Ulemper: "Arriving in Reykjavik, we needed to bus to the terminal. Weather was fine so it wasn't a big deal, but it involved additional waiting and the buses fill up quickly."
Fordeler: "The whole flight was wonderful, food, we got a meat and cheese box, was great. Movie options were great. We got pillows and blankets and free water. The flight attendants were wonderful and always very helpful."
Ulemper: "A couple of things happened that brought down the scoring if these didn't happen the score would be higher. First.they lost/forgot to put my luggage on the plane. When we got to Newark there was a guy waiting for me and told me my luggage was still in Iceland. Not a huge inconvenience because I was home, but was was irritating was that we paid for an extra bag but they lost my bag. I feel i should get reimbursed the charge for the inconvenience. I'll take this up with the airline directly."

Ulemper: "Five and a half hour delay."
Ulemper: "No kosher food."
Ulemper: "This was the worst flight I have been on. It was delayed by two and a half hours - because of a mechanical problem we had to switch planes. Don't they do a check before they board people? They only offered beverages one time in a 6 hour flight. There was no food which is appalling for an International flight. The worse thing is that when I booked my ticket it said one meal will be provided. But there was none. The choice of food for purchase was poor. I will never use Icelandair again. And I will discourage my colleagues using it too, who, like me, travel to conferences regularly."

Ulemper: "Unfortunately we were herded into a tiny waiting area, pushed up against one another waiting for a bus to take us to the plane. The wait was unnecessarily long and the room very hot. Then again we were held in a crampt and very warm bus to the aircraft. Passengers inside the bus, pushed open some of the windows to give us a little fresh cool air. Finally we exited into the rain and wind to very slowly board the aircraft in no order, which led to people standing out on a slick staircase getting rather wet prior to entering. One of the worst boarding plans I've experienced."

Fordeler: "Warm chicken order was forgotten by attendant. Food should have been free or ticket less expensive. No place to sit at airport Reykjavik and long lines for food. See"
Fordeler: "Boarding process in Reykjavik was a nightmare. There were five or six flights leaving within a half hour of each other and hundreds of people were crammed into a very small waiting area with nowhere to sit."
Ulemper: "There were no announcements explaining why our flight was not boarding on time. We waited about 50 minutes at the gate while other flights that had later boarding times were boarding. Besides being squished in a crowd with nowhere to sit for such a long time and no explanation about why we weren't boarding made for very grumpy passengers even before we got on the plane!"
Fordeler: "That I was able to get off."
Ulemper: "•Flight crew were so strict and stern. It's like their smile was for sale too along with everything else. •Boarding fight to Newark International airport took almost 45 min because a novice was placed to handle and IMMENSE line of passengers boarding alone. He was clearly nervous. •On the plane there was a lack of entertainment, the only films available were intended for children. Music was "unavailable"."
Ulemper: "No free meal, constant duty free sales runs up and down the aisle by flight attendants, broken seats and headphone jacks, slow and clumsy boarding process"
Ulemper: "Luggage was left in Amsterdam. The A'dam flight was an hour late, which didn't leave enough time to have dinner."
Ulemper: "Need better English speaking crew doing announcements. Streamline the waiting lines. Speedup booking and boarding. Access airplanes direct from terminal. No buses!"

Ulemper: "Poor behavior of the flight tender, no humility, poor respect, disgraceful... also the seats in the toilet are defective (all of the passengers noticed this) - the plastic covers when you lift them (open) do not keep vertical position, they always fall down what is very annoying (how can you use the toilet if the cover is falling on your back all of the time?)"

Ulemper: "My family and I traveled to Poland several times using LOT Airline. They lost our luggage not once or twice, but three times. Each time, we were without our luggage for nearly a day and half. We are no longer using this airline. Also, their TV monitors/remotes lack accessibility as they do not offer closed captioning features for the deaf/hard-of-hearing. Another strike."

There was no plane waiting for them in Budapest and they got re-routed to Vienna. Which then took them to krakow. They had to take off their luggage everytime they got off the plane and they are 80 years old. There were no escalators or elevators. The airlines lost one of their suitcases and promised it the next day and they have not received it yet. Horrible flight."

Ulemper: "The Warsaw-Newark leg took 10 hrs and a half, as opposed to 9 and a half. The Economy seat, although a little better than on other planes, is so small, and I’m average size! The announcements are so difficult to understand."
Ulemper: "My tv was not working , it’s a 9.5 hours flight.... it was not fixed and they said they cannot offer me another seat with working tv My table when I opened it for the first time was all dirty with dried up tomato sauce and crumbs , they did clean it but it should not happen in the first place"

Ulemper: "Messed up security clearance arrangement. Total confusion about secondary clearance requirement, only informed at boarding at gate that a lot of travelers needed secondary clearance. No objections to secondary clearance, but procedure a joke. Machine was half way down the terminal. Half hour wait, and you could have left your carry on with somebody else, get cleared by machine, pick up your bag again and get on board."

Ulemper: "After the plane landed had to sit an hour in the plane cause of gate clearance . I had a connection flight I almost missed. After 9 hours travelling it was extremely stressful . The wasn working for the lady next to me ."
Ulemper: "On a way to Poland from New York we were waiting two hours in airport with no information. Then we were sitting in airplane 50 minutes more. It was delay 2hours and 50 min."
Fordeler: "Easy check in, accommodations for a seat preference, kind crew service on board, good food, free entertainment-good selection of movies and music, at no extra charge. on time going to WAW, and 30 min. early coming back to EWR. Flight coming back was cancelled due to technical difficulties, but no problems with rescheduling, LOT rep. was very helpful. No forced charges for checked-in and carry-on bags-BIG differentiator ! used 787 Dreamliner."

Ulemper: "Employees at the WAW airport. They hired new people. Young people. And they act like Gods. From shaking heads to improper comments to the passengers. Quality of sound at the airport sucks. All announcements hard to understand."

Ulemper: "Initially the entertainment system was not working. The crew was notified that screens are not working, so they rebooted it once. After some time, my and my daughters screens were still not working. We used call button to get crews attention. However, no one was paying attention to the lights. At some point there were 8 blue lights on throughout our cabin calling for assistance. I got attention by waving my hand and asking for help. I told 3 different times re my screen. They stated that they just rebooted the system and it will be working soon. My next seat neighbors were hour into their movies. No one did come back and check if I'm Ok if problem got resolved. Then they were even ignoring us and not offering drinks at this point. I felt like I got punished for asking for help. That's when I asked for crew person in charge. She was kind and offered to move to economy plus. We did move for majority of the flight. Enjoyed entertainment. However, when there was 1.5 h left of our trip, they woke us up and asked to move back to our seats since the meal plans are upgraded in this section. I was shocked, somewhat embarrassed to move back. I felt like a person that likes to cause trouble/ complainer being punished. Since we purchased full price ticket like everyone, we should be able to enjoy it like everyone. Airline should compensate clients, if there's issue with airplane. Flight to LT was good, however going home was extremely unnecessarily stressful. I'll try my best NOT to fly LOT in the future."
Ulemper: "440am flight left late, ran to customs and begged to cut the line, while people complained at me and my wife, then landed and told my luggage is lost. The best part was when I was asked if I had lugggae insurance because they didn't want to look for my luggage"

Ulemper: "Checking in and luggage drop off was chaos. One useless staff person failed to tell people where to line up to drop bags off until the end. She just stood there and if you asked a question she gave you the wrong answer. In Newerk we had to wait 2 hours for our bags. The man st the AC office had no idea why the bags were not coming and could not get someone to tell him and emotionally dithered and then fell apart. I will avoid travelling on AC again if I can. Worst flight ever. They did not have enough food on board either. At least the pilots were competent."

Ulemper: "After landing in Newar. One had to exit into the terminal and in order to connect, I had to go through TSA again, and the line was way too long. I had 2 hrs between flights and was able to make the connection, but I'm not sure if I only had one hour... I would have probably missed my connection."
Ulemper: "Spend 45 minutes on chek in. Only tree people was working for whole airport. 5 min before I finely get to deck, they close check in and charge me extra 100$ for the next flight. I think it's a company politic to close check in 1 HOUR before flight, to get extra money. My first and last experience with Canada Air."

Ulemper: "We didn't get aisle seats. We didn't expect the food offerings to be great, and we weren't disappointed. We would have preferred that Trump not be president on our arrival. Maybe next time."
Fordeler: "I liked having Nexus get me through air Canada's malfunctioning Website to airport chaotic check-in otherwise may have missed my flight! Actual flight was smooth,quick and comfortable. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Airplane interior open and bright. Bathrooms clean and well supplied."
Ulemper: "Customer's time is valuable too! Air Canada website check-in malfunctioning causes anger, frustration and chaos at home and continues through airport check-in. HUNDREDS of angry, frustrated customers paid for their tickets, tried to check-in online and arrived early all converged into one CHAOTIC crowd. ADDRESS these issues, FIX YOUR WEBSITE, TREAT YOUR HARDWORKING, PAYING CUSTOMERS with DIGNITY and RESPECT they DESERVE. Competing Airlines are waiting for your dissatisfied customers."
Fordeler: "Friendly staff all the way through. Offered lots of non-alcoholic drinks. Small delay at departure in Vancouver, but on-time departure from Newark. As return flight was not fully booked, change of seats was possible and instead of being 3 in a row, we were only 2. Overall, good experience"
Fordeler: "The cabin service was amazing, the staff was so prompt and courteous, I am a frequent flyer on Air Canada and I love flying Air Canada."

Ulemper: "I wouldn't say the crew service was nice. It was just ok. They kept leaning over passengers more than just a bit. They were disorganized and even though the food was for sell, the selection was very very limited. It was not like "I would like this", it was more like "well, what do you have"?. Finally, the landing was pretty rough."
Fordeler: "air canada quickly changed me to another flight when mine was delayed but I had to ask for that, they did not offer."
Ulemper: "delay was long and I wasn't offered a switch to another flight. had to ask myself for it."

The crew then announced that some passengers were unable to view the entertainment system so they were resetting the entire system. Crew said passengers would be able to resume watching entertainment at the point they left off. Needless to say this was not the case. The entertainment system never got reset properly and did not function for the rest of the 4+ hour flight."
