The same was done with the duty free. The plane pressure also felt very strong and cause discomfort for the wife. The food on the flights was not the best, one the first one they ran out of chicken meal and only had fish left which was gross, for such a big airline you would also think they give a snack in between meals but they do not.also after giving you the food it took a long time for them to pick up the tray which I thought was unusual"
Fordeler: "Doha airport is easy to move through; They put me in an exit row behind a bulkhead has plenty of legroom."
Ulemper: "Reading light wasn't aimed properly, and there was nowhere to put anything because of it being an exit row behind a bulkhead. That meant, that I had to hold anything I wanted during take-off, and landing, and the entertainment system had to be stowed during those times as well, so I couldn't even listen to music as the only controls were the touchscreen."

We were then informed that we were put on the following flight arriving after midnight at our destination. Our compensation was going to be 250 USD and a free entry to the lounge. What a way to start our holidays."

Ulemper: "We sat in front of a row of children who kicked the back of my seat for 13 hrs straight. We spoke to a flight attendant about it early on in the flight, spoke to the kids and spoke to the parents. Then spoke to the kids and parents mid flight. And then spoke to them all, including a flight attendant towards the end of the flight. The issue was never resolved. We asked to change our seats but could not. We asked for the parents to trade seats with the kids and they would not. It was the worst, most uncomfortable flight I have ever taken. And I fly regularly for work and for pleasure. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I was actually in tears on the flight because I was so tired, uncomfortable and frustrated."
Fordeler: "The leg room was good especially for tall passengers. Food was fantastic. The interior lighting of the plane was amazing. The airport is probably one of the best i have seen that a 9-hour layover didn't feel as bad. Very clean and so many things to do."

Fordeler: "Inflight entertainment was good but that doesn’t make up for lack of equal treatment of all passengers"
Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."
Ulemper: "Staff don’t smile! I ask for hot towel the crew didn’t give me any!"
Ulemper: "Still flying . I lost my first hotel night what to doooo"
Fordeler: "Entertainment and the seats (leg room)"
Ulemper: "Food is horrible. The option you want usually runs out and then you are at the mercy of the service crew to find one"
Fordeler: "The crew was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Inflight entertainment selection was great tho the screens were average. Good beer selection."
Ulemper: "Seats are so uncomfortable. I'm a young guy, and by the end, my back was hurting. They barely reclined and no leg room. Food was about average."
Fordeler: "It's time to check the competition."
Ulemper: "Emirates is (just) OK in a business class (never trier economy in Emirates), but I have a very strong feeling they should be much better. Cabine interior should be much better (it's old, seats are not full beds and are somehow narrow). Food offering should be improved (continental breakfast - what king of cost-cutting is that???). What is really good is in-flight entertaintement system. But you don't pay for a business class to watch movies, right?"
Fordeler: "Boarding went smoothly, flight was very comfortable with great entertainment options. Attentive staff!"
Ulemper: "The seats in business are flat but at an angle; this actuallty makes quite a difference for comfort."
Fordeler: "Everyone was nice and attentive nice meals"
Fordeler: "I liked the food and entertainment only."
Ulemper: "I was surprised when i got on the plane because i always hear great thinhs about the Emirates airplanes, this one was very low quality airplane, and for a long distance flights the flight must have been a better one."
Fordeler: "The flight was on time."
Ulemper: "Never had an experience where "pocket book, was weighed. After my carry on was weighed , my personal bag where I had my essentials and medications were included in the total weight of carry ons. I ended up paying for overweight. It was a big surprise for me. I came from NY and your agents approved . I had to pay,or discard."
Fordeler: "I liked everything :) And the stuff was great I really enjoyed it ;)"
Fordeler: "I wish they have feet rest as in Saudi Airlines, to left the feet little pet & it will reflect positively on the back and spinal (more comfort for the back) Everything else was awesome"
Fordeler: "In flight entertainment was suoerb and even had live TV."
Ulemper: "Food was not good"
Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."
Fordeler: "The FA that served my part of the cabin was polite, friendly, and cheerful."
Ulemper: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."
Ulemper: "16 hours transit in dubia without any service."
Fordeler: "I felt unwell towards the end of the flight. The cabin crew could not have been nicer. Although they were busy they all found time to come and check on me, including the purser. Water and other drinks were given out regularly. They even provided afternoon tea with scones and cream!"
Fordeler: "My only regret was waiting this long to try Emirates from Milan to JFK They are superior in every way possible. Service food entertainment seat comfort and room And they are price competitive No wonder American Airlines has given up on Europe and become an airline for Miami and South American they are not even in the game. Never ever ever would I fly on AA even if the ticket was 20 bucks Fly emeriates they are the best"
Fordeler: "The response and service of Airhostesses are outstanding. I have to mention specially the assistance their supervisor provided to me when I have felt a little breathlessness and her constant attention on me to ensure I am normal and comfortable. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. Thanks to her and her team I felt at home."
Ulemper: "Vegetarian food would be good if it was less spicy."
Ulemper: "Too long layover"

Ulemper: "Passenger seated next to me was bigger than the seat could take the whole flight it was u uncomfortable for me to even move an inch He was a smoker and smelt really bad I was told the seat next to me would be empty There was no space for my bag as others brought more than 1 piece of luggage with them on board The toilets weren't checked it was wet and dirty throughout Usually I fly 2/4 times in 60 days with emirates but this was the worse experience I had things on my tray before landing the hostess rudely asked me to put it in the pocket ahead of me as she didn't want to take it from me which is what I had originally requested for On the outbound flight I think your net package by mistake charged me Twice ! I strongly suggest if someone is bigger than a certain size then they should book 2 seats as 17 hours it wasn't easy for me to ask him to sit in a correct manner or have the handle half up so he uses my seat too Overall u satisfied and painful experience Net was slower on outbound too"
Fordeler: "The flight and accommodations were wonderful during the flight. The accommodations during the layover were nice at the Boston Courtyard Marriott. Pam & Keith Schroeder"
Ulemper: "We waited in Dubai 3 hours for connecting flights to arrive because of fog. When we arrived in Boston, they told us we had missed the connecting flight to Detroit by 20 minutes and could not fly back until 26 hours later. We were disappointed that the $50 dinner voucher would not allow us to each have 1 alcoholic beverage. (We should have read the fine print...)"

Ulemper: "cramped business class seats. the 2-3-2 seating is disappointing for the price. Boarding announcements were confusing. we were told to be at the gate 30 mins before flight but when we got there 45 mins before they were already displaying final call which was quite stressful."
Ulemper: "It was too cold and the blanket was too light"
Ulemper: "Last minute surprise with re-routing to Chicago. Few options provided on Changed booking."
Ulemper: "The fact that I can only carry 30 kg and also that it is very expensive to add extra luggage."
Fordeler: "The attendants are friendly, helpful and responded to my needs graciously. I also love the uniforms, especially the hats. The food was decent and was offered at appropriate intervals. I like the plane too."
Ulemper: "I had reserved an aisle seat by phone but at the airport I was assigned a window seat. No problem---the attendants were helpful and a nice man changed seats with me. I had difficulty with the headset, couldn't get it comfortable and had difficulty adjusting the volume. No big problem considering how good the service was in general. I didn't like a 6 hour wait at Kennedy on my flight to Milan which was dreadfully late."
Ulemper: "The flight was little crowded but over all it was OK the food service was late and meal was delivered one hour late"

Ulemper: "Seats need to be wider in coach!!!! NO I'm NOT a typical fat American but have an athletic build with wide shoulders. Thank god I had two small passengers seated on either side of me. The airlines know what they need to do but keep resisting in the name of greater profits."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed over two hours causing great stress and worry about missing our next flight, which we did. As there were many of us on the neit flight also I wonder if any effort was made to hold that flight for us."
Fordeler: "Comfortable, on time and as always good service from Turkish Airlines"
Ulemper: "There is no communication from the airport to the passengers making it really complicated to board the plane on time even while waiting for the boarding to begin at the gate."
Ulemper: "Late into the flight there appeared to be a medical emergency taking place just a few rows ahead of me. No announcement was made; it was as though we were expected to ignore the situation. But with the lights in the cabin turned on, a small crowd gathered, and the passenger being vocal in his distress .. . a brief announcement would have been nice: Situation under control, no need to worry, flight will continue as scheduled. The passenger had a relapse a few hours later - again no acknowledgement from the crew to reassure those of us who could hear his cries of distress."

Fordeler: "Baggage allowance of two 23 kg checked bags each. Meals very good including specially ordered vegan ones."
Ulemper: "Delays in boarding and takeoff from Istanbul to Boston caused flight to arrive 1 hour late which messed up ground arrangements. This may have been because of new Turkey - USA visa issue which just took effect. Refueling was also late. Note: the Istanbul airport is quite dated; restrooms at airport not very clean."
Fordeler: "Great service. Great food. Comfortable flight both ways"
Ulemper: "Lost my luggage"
Fordeler: "The food is great, nice entertainment, we good travel essentials!"
Ulemper: "One of the crews looked a little grumpy. I was referring to the lady who was handing out food. She was not at all happy everytime she serves the meal."
Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Fordeler: "Like my trip to Istanbul, I had no complaints. It was easy to make my transition to this flight and boarding was fine and once again the crew were friendly and welcoming. The short 2 1/2 hour flight went well."
Ulemper: "It was very hot on the plane."
Ulemper: "Yes, everything was really good"
Fordeler: "Free wifi for business class HD movies + good quality DENON headseat"
Ulemper: "Terrible foods taste Zero hospitality crews Lack of food and deink service during 13hour flight No airconditiiner at gate 230 and queue like hell!"
Ulemper: "Cabin temperature too high, the flight attendants borderline rude and always on a hurry, I mean what's the hurry durin a 12:30 hours long haul flight. Turkish airlines has decreased its quality of service."
Fordeler: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."
Fordeler: "I like the Airline and I think the food is good, the problem sometimes is when you travel a lot you get the same food :) The crew are always great! I do a lot of connections in Istanbul and we never missed one in about two years flying there at least 4 times a month."
Ulemper: "During boarding they do not always board the Gold members first and in some cases when they do it is only to go on the bus before the others. I would like the Gold members to go first with either a bus of their own to at least with part of the bus reserved and we are allowed first on the plane."
Fordeler: "It's an international flight and they don't offer other food alternatives."
Ulemper: "The plane left late I almost lost my next plane to Los Angeles a good thing the next plane was late so I make it"
Fordeler: "Overall everything was good"

Ulemper: "Comfort was not the greatest. Felt smaller than other airlines but trip was 11 hours long so it wasn't comfortable."

Fordeler: "The crew is very attentive, although at times lacks some foresight in dealing with passengers. The aircraft was quite new and clean. The entertainment system was outstanding and the food good, although a downgrade from THY experiences from a few years ago."
Ulemper: "The passengers on some Turkey--US flights are hilariously terrible. People getting up during landing, littering in the plane, clogging toilets, creating spills, NEVER listening to announcements made by the crew, etc. It's essentially a zoo. I sat by a bulkhead seat, and I had maybe 200 people push by my feet, step on them, knock around my shoes and TV console during the flight. It's a somewhat tiring spectacle for 10 hours on end."
Fordeler: "the crew were very nice, the plane was new and half empty and it arrived on time"
Fordeler: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordeler: "Entertainment (movies) always helpful to pass the time."
Ulemper: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Ulemper: "I picked specific seats when i checked in online. Instead I got the worst seats me and my wife. Plane made unusual noise and I am a frequent flyer."
