Instead the FA looked at my bag and asked me in an irritated tone if my bag was really that heavy? I said I was recovering and I just need an extra push once I lift it up into the cabin. In the end she did help but i did not appreciate her attitude and felt disappointed my whole flight."

Ulemper: "Some of the male crew didn't do anything, the females did all the interactive work in serving and helping the disabled as far as I could see."
Fordeler: "Excellent seat and pillow cushion... The krisworld in-flight entertainment was extremely easy to use while still having a wide selection of films. The touchscreen was also very simple and did t require a great deal of force to press a button...the steamed towel given before take off was extremely relaxing and set a high standard of expectations during this flight. Almost all of the those expectations were met. The toilets were extremely clean and the service of toothbrushes was the icing on the cake. For my meal I ordered Indian fish curry which could have been a little more spicy (I am Indian so I eat foods with many spices)."
Ulemper: "I would have liked a wider selection of foods in the menu.. Limited options. Also, I had a 11:45 AM flight from BOM-SIN which was supposed to start boarding at 10:45, but instead we started boarding at 11:30 and took off at 12:10."

Ulemper: "From the moment we checked in in Singapore there was no service. Having travelled first class and Economy before with Singapore I was very disappointed with Business class. My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Fordeler: "Flight was without any hitches, could have done better with boarding after the previous mishap of a 5 hour delayed flight and being forced to stay in Doha for a night which put everyone's schedules off by a day. Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."

Fordeler: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Ulemper: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

Ulemper: "For 14 hours flight, we were given 1 meal and 1 snack ; that seems too little for a long flight. They didn't have whiskey, only beer and wine...really... I asked the flight attendant to put my cabin luggage in the space above the seats, because I am old and could not do it myself, and he first frowned and asked why....ridiculous"

Ulemper: "People were allowed wheel chairs without a doctor'snote. 59 wheel chairs passengers is ridiculous. Make it a requirement wheel chair assistance required a doctor's note. And check hand luggage weight. Many bags excceeded the limit."

Ulemper: "I found the boarding experience in Dubai to be quite tedious. We were shuffled around here and there and getting on the plane itself was tough."
Fordeler: "Inflight entertainment was good but that doesn’t make up for lack of equal treatment of all passengers"
Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "My meal was awful the only option for me was raw vegetables in order to have vegetarian and gluten free... It was carrot, cucumber and celery sticks and some fruit. I had the same meal twice it was very sad meal for 17.5 hrs with no snacks offered either. My partner and another man were forgotten as the meal rounds were being done. The crew seemed a little disorganised. The adverts on the entertainment were annoying."
Fordeler: "There really wasn't much to like, but I suppose the space in the seating was decent. We also did not have any delays in boarding and the flight itself was nice."
Ulemper: "The crew did not even ask customers if they needed water. The food selections were terrible, and then there was no selection at all by the time I had a chance to order my food. I didn't eat barely anything for the whole 12 hr flight. That is the worst situation I have ever been on when flying anywhere. So, yes, I found it horrible for the most part."
Fordeler: "Good selection of movies. Nice staff- some of which were able to handle difficult customers better than others."
Ulemper: "Both flights to Athens and returning to New York were very delayed. As a result, passengers were annoyed and staff members looked obviously stressed as well. On the whole my impression is that this airline keeps up appearances very well but is in fact somewhat disorganized."

Ulemper: "due to 11 kg total weight I had to check in a soft carry on bag resulting in :1/2 hour extra wait time and some crushed items. Vegetarian food was pretty tasteless."

Ulemper: "I was surprised when i got on the plane because i always hear great thinhs about the Emirates airplanes, this one was very low quality airplane, and for a long distance flights the flight must have been a better one."

Ulemper: "Sat on plan after boarding for an extended time before takeoff. I think it was a maintenance thing. It happens so no biggie. Table and magazine pocket needed cleaning from prior flights. Made me uneasy from a cleanliness point of view so they took a hit on comfort."

Ulemper: "Never had an experience where "pocket book, was weighed. After my carry on was weighed , my personal bag where I had my essentials and medications were included in the total weight of carry ons. I ended up paying for overweight. It was a big surprise for me. I came from NY and your agents approved . I had to pay,or discard."
Fordeler: "Finally, a great airline with a direct flight from New York to Athens and very reasonable fares. I hope they keep it that way. Also, Newark is a much better airport to fly to and from than JFK."
Ulemper: "Crew was ok but could have been a little better, and the drinks selection could be improved."
Ulemper: "Crew were rude, kept knocking customers. no vegan meal No drinks offered for majority of flight poor quality entertainment, screen didn't work properly."
Fordeler: "I wish they have feet rest as in Saudi Airlines, to left the feet little pet & it will reflect positively on the back and spinal (more comfort for the back) Everything else was awesome"

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Fordeler: "The FA that served my part of the cabin was polite, friendly, and cheerful."
Ulemper: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."
Fordeler: "One of the best airlines I have flown. Very good with kids and they do a hell of a good job of cleaning restrooms. Food quality was great."
Ulemper: "Hindu meal has meat in it which was a surprise. It was too cold inside plane and they would take blankets before landing and won't give you blankets till take off is complete. They should give water bottles."

Pressed the cabin crew call button and took over 15 mins for someone to respond (and only after I caught someone's attention walking past - for the second time, the first person took my request then never reappeared). This despite at least 8 crew members walking past me."
Ulemper: "The baggage took a really long time to be delivered to the carousel"
Fordeler: "I never made the connection because the flight was cancelled. I liked nothing about the flight and to boot I got sick because I was up for over 40 hours straight... 11 of them spent in Customer Service line."
Ulemper: "It was a terrible two day experience that would have turned into over 3 if I did not cancel my flight plans.... vacation ruined."
Fordeler: "Leg room always an issue. Crew really great."

Ulemper: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

Ulemper: "I wanted to get some work done on.y flight but I couldn't even open my laptop screen more than a few inches."
Fordeler: "On time arrival"
Ulemper: "Boston -Zurich, the most uncomfortable seat possible. I am 5’2 and I barely fit.... Seats are way more comfortable on European flights."
Fordeler: "SwilssAir is our new favorite airline to Switzerland and other points in Europe. The crews were pleasant and efficient. All flights were right on time. The food was very good, and the best overall we have experienced in economy. The individual video screens provided a nice selection of movies, tv, games, etc. Finally, transferring in Zurich is MUCH better than the zoo that his Heathrow!"
Fordeler: "The attendants were great. Flight was clean and nice."
Ulemper: "Moved us from gate, which was super hot and not air conditioned first thing in the morning evidently. Also, not enough seats for everyone on the flight. Then we were squished onto a bus to go to the plane. Upon arriving in Naples we were once again squeezed into one bus- every passenger! Very tight. 2 buses would have been nice."
Fordeler: "Safety"
Ulemper: "Small seats only 2 bathrooms,"
Fordeler: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Ulemper: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."
Fordeler: "The length of the flight"
Ulemper: "3 of our 5 suitcases were out of luck to make it.. they damaged our 2 new luggages and the third one.. we only realized at home... now I have to deal with that too so I will be with Swiss on my mind for a while.. never again!!!"
Fordeler: "The flight attendants were professional and helpful."
Ulemper: "We were glad to have extra leg room at the bulk head, however, the seats themselves were extremely narrow. My elderly father found it exceptionally difficult to sit and stand from the seat. The seat table creates an ever tighter fit for someone with special needs."

Fordeler: "I love Swiss Airlines, would definitely book with them in the future"

Fordeler: "The service of snacks during the flight. My suggestion to change seating was followed by a adequate replacement. I think I will add sparkling/distilled water to my list of water choices."

Fordeler: "The staff was courteous and effective. The pilots made up time after waiting for a few connecting passengers."
Ulemper: "The food was edible but not up to the usual Swiss Air standard."

Ulemper: "I did not like that I was in a Swiss airport for more then 13 hrs and the company did not offer me a hotel for the night. Two I did not like that at the airport in zerik they don't take coins."
Fordeler: "The service was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful"
Ulemper: "The business seats that we booked were normal economy plus seats with no one in the middle seat. The whole idea of booking a business class ticket is the extra comfort that comes with the lay flat seat or at absolute minimum on smaller planes the wider more comfortable seat. Neither of those were present on this flight. Calling this a business class is a rip off."
Fordeler: "Flight was fine. The attendants on board were friendly and efficient. The food was nice though there wasn't much variety in drinks."
Ulemper: "It was awful getting boarding passes and paying for check in luggage in Venice. I assumed we couldn't check in early online much like the earlier Lufthansa flight. Then when we got to the airport there were long lines to check in and no machines to self check in. When we finally got to the front of the line the woman said we had to pay for our checked baggage elsewhere and then come back for the boarding passes. Unheard of elsewhere. The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."
Fordeler: "The food was really great! And the crew was very friendly."
Ulemper: "Many delays that seemed unnecessary. We waited for a while for late passengers to board, which seemed strange, given that last time when Swiss made me miss my transfer, the next plane left without me when delaying takeoff would not have been necessary at all. After the passengers arrived, we were delayed again because of weather. And once we arrived at Newark, we had to wait for over half an hour to get to the gate for some mysterious reason."
Fordeler: "lovely flight -left on time arrived 1 hr early. my earphones did not fit plane plug, the one provided did not fit my ears - slept instead,,,Excellent service..."
Ulemper: "We had almost 8 hours delay"
Fordeler: "Entertainment was excellent and they made it a very comfortable flight."

Ulemper: "Not enough room in the seats. Could not open my lap top in avaialable space. Very tight feeling."

Drinks were plentiful. Seat was comfortable and I felt the pilots did a great job of finding the smoothest flight path."
Ulemper: "Entertainment selection left something to be desired. When comparing to Virgin it is tough to be anything but disappointed."

Ulemper: "I was in economy. But the legroom was very poor. The next leg of my trip was also in economy, but was much more comfortable with seats further apart and more room under seats. So, you're taking a chance."

Ulemper: "Once I asked the air hostess for a sandwich, i was really hungry, she said she would have to walk to back of plane and they would be serving food in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I went back to ask for a sandwich and handed me a tray of meal and said to eat this."
Ulemper: "Departure gate to far to get to! Changed gates didn’t notify on time . Waiting at gate to long."
Ulemper: "Seats are too cramped and not enough leg room. Plus our seats did not recline which is painful on a 10 hour flight. The flight attendants and front desk workers had an attitude as well."

Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."

Ulemper: "Some of the crew members had an attitude issues and they weren't as attentive as others."
Fordeler: "The service and food was excellent. The entertainment choices was amazing. They gave me two decent-sized bottles of wine without charging me."
Ulemper: "They give you very little leg room. The seat in front of you touches your knees. After 8 hours in the same position it feels like you are stuck in a coffin or a primatial medieval torture device. The seat begins to hurt your back. You can't get in a comfortable position. You can't turn left or right. There's a little foot rest that gives you 10 minutes of relief but then that gets uncomfortable. If one of the people seated in with the inner row needs to use the restroom then the whole row needs to get up. It's cruel and unusual punishment. The airline just needs to expand the rows by 6 inches. Before you go bring a neck pillow and a butt cushion. Or better yet, pick a seat located in a front section that gives you more leg room. If you have the option then this should be a higher priority over a window seat. You will thank me for this advice."

Ulemper: "Boarding process in Istanbul was very difficult. 5 security checks just getting from the plane from Brussels to our gate is excessive and time consuming. Very little organization at the gate as well. Not smooth at all."
Fordeler: "It's an international flight and they don't offer other food alternatives."
Ulemper: "The plane left late I almost lost my next plane to Los Angeles a good thing the next plane was late so I make it"
Fordeler: "N/A"
Ulemper: "Their boarding pass listed departure time for boarding time which confused me. The staff in Istanbul is extremely unprofessional and have caused me to missed my connecting flight. I had to get a visa and waited almost 2 hours in line in order just to be able to reschedule my flight."

Ulemper: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "I showed up roughly an hour before the flight, as I had no bags to check in. The employees at the check in counter had already cleared out, so I was unable to get my boarding pass. Then when I called in, they were extremely unhelpful. They gave me no alternative options, and instead only listed out a ridiculous list of fees and said I they could get me on a flight a different day for a total cost that was greater than what I had paid for the entire round trip ticket. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to connect me. I ended up buying a one way ticket home with another airline. I will not fly with Turkish Airlines again in the future, and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Just beware of this service if you see them listed as the cheapest option."

Fordeler: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordeler: "Good service. Food was very good. Roomy seats and very good in flight entertainment system. Made the 12 hour flight very comfortable."

Fordeler: "I loved being able to stay in Istanbul for a while. We had a great time during the layover, and the flight was incredible. The entertainment was top notch, and the food was as well. They had delicious olives and cheese on most meals, and the hot food had great use of tomatoes and umami to add taste to the meals. It has been a great experience traveling on Turkish Airlines, and I would suggest it for everyone."

Ulemper: "Just a dinner and a breakfast for a 9 hour flight seemed a bit on the short side."

Ulemper: "The flight was late by over 2 hours and we missed our onward flight to San Francisco. At Istanbul, Ataturk Airport, Turkish Airline did not provide a Visa although they gave hotel and boarding passes for next days flight. At Istanbul, Ataturk airport it was a nightmare for us, as senior citizens. Why should we buy the Visa when the flight was delayed which is no fault of ours. Of the 4 automatic e-visa machines onlyEv 1 was working and there was a long queue. In between the machine stopped working for a long time and no one was there to assist or restart. They gave our boarding passes for the next days flight and their responsibility was over. We had to wait for over an hour to get the hotel. Overall it was a bad experience."

Ulemper: "The absolute worst airline we have ever flown with. Will never fly with them again."
