Ulemper: "The food wasn’t very good and the quantity of the snack meager. Worse, the crew refused to give a second roll to our 12 year old even which means that either they only have one for each passenger (and every passenger had theirs) or the crew are parsimonious."

They normally only allow early boarding of young children, but we need extra time as I have 2 children to organise and my daughters sight dictates that i have to assist her. Other passengers were not impressed. I would like the airlines to take the initiative to have all children boarded early as if we board with everyone else, the aisles will be blocked as my children try to get organised."

Ulemper: "I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Ulemper: "Firstly If the meals we pre booked were actually given to us. Secondly what’s the point of giving menus to coustomer to choose their meal when food availability is limited. Don’t set false expectations to your customer when you can’t deliver on them."

Fordeler: "the new seating in Business Class is very comfortable and so similar, although slightly less spacious, than First on some carriers. Crew is top class. Doha is a great airport too. I prefer it to Dubai."

Ulemper: "The aircraft seemed to be really old. The entertainment system on the seat I was allotted did not work, and I had to change seats. In the new seat, the entertainment system worked, but the seat didn't recline, and I had to change seats again - from an initially allotted aisle seat, to a middle seat. Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?"

Ulemper: "Screaming babies, obese people sat next to me, water rationing, not a pleasant experience. Arrived sleep deprived and dehydrated. I have much better experiencs on a visit to Australia - this was my third time this year!"

Fordeler: "I enjoyed my flight,it was a smooth trip from Doha to Manila, the Cabin Crew received adequate training on taking care of people, as a professional nurse who is use to taking care of others ,I see someone else looking after me and I really appreciate their efforts. Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Fordeler: "I haven't flown with Qatar for several years, but my memories of an exceptional experience were replicated. Fantastic modern aircraft, brilliant crew and great food."

Ulemper: "I missed my flight from Nairobi to Melbourne then the airlines asked for penalties and fare difference which in total was much higher than booking a fresh one way flight. I felt that the crew at Nairobi airport handled the situation pretty well however, the staff at the Nairobi reservation office were a bit cold and not very helpful."

Ulemper: "Front row with a toddler meant that we couldn't lift the armrests up and get her to lay down. She had to lie on the floor, but when we hit some turbulence, we had to wake her and sit her back up with us. The second part of the leg was much better as we were on a normal row seat"
Ulemper: "We had to wait for about 5 years, more than 3 hours unscheduled wait. During this time we were provided with a very poor breakfast."
Fordeler: "Boarding, the welcome on board, the food choice and quality were all excellent. The seat was comfortable and I got a few hours sleep. The entertainment screen was big and clear, and the choice of films was good."
Ulemper: "The choice of films and tv programmes, was good, but before watching each one i chose, I had to endure a couple off minutes of an advert- the same one every time."
Fordeler: "Everything was excellent as I have come to expect. The business class seat was not one of those new diagonal ones, but made a full width flat bed, so I could sleep for a few hours. Food and service excellent."
Fordeler: "In-flight entertainment is excellent. Some of the grew also excellent. Had excellent seat 68d. Lots of leg room. Aircraft looked brand new."
Ulemper: "6 hour delay with no explanation. No apology. Stuck in transit with nothing to do. Not impressed at all. Boarding also delayed. Food on this flight was very poor."
Ulemper: "I was seated between two overweight/obese passengers and as such was very uncomfortable throughout the long-haul flight. There was very little room to move as their body habitus spilt over onto my seating area and occupied the arm space. There needs to be serious consideration to make it mandatory for overweight/obese passengers to purchase two seats to accommodate their size."
Fordeler: "Quick boarding/ friendly ground staff as well as the cabin crew! Food was great(even though I don't normally eat plane food) but I enjoyed their meals! Plenty of leg room with the seat compared to other airlines I have flown with! Free wifi on certain planes(even though for 15 mins, better than nothing!)"
Ulemper: "Could have a bit more choice of movies but wasn't bad"
Ulemper: "I was hoping to replace worldmate with you application. you got it wrong. I travelled from Doha to Guanzhou, Bangkok and back to Doha. I don't even know where Sohag is!!!!! Qatar airways did a perfect job as usual."
Fordeler: "Like the friendly Crew ..."
Ulemper: "Check in crew in Lahore ganged up against me and wanted to extort £200 for taking me laptop on board along with my hand carry. No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."
Fordeler: "The QA Crew acted with courage during very severe turbulence, continuing to be professional despite injuries"
Ulemper: "QA HQ did not respond to the emergency with professionalism. They did a decent job w/hotel accommodation but only the hotel reception provided any communication. Only constant complaints led to food being provided at the airport after a 6 hour wait to board. No compensation was offered by QA when we arrived in Doha. Nothing. Exceptionally poor performance by an airline you expect more from."

Fordeler: "Food is always good on Thai airways flights and flights are always good value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive."

Ulemper: "D.own graded from firstBusiness Class lounge is tired and over crowded. Aircraft cabin was getting old. Sound on IFE was faulty and unusable and no alternative seats were available. Food was ok could be better. Would not choose Thai for businesses class if there was another airline to choose from."

Ulemper: "Business class seats on the B747 - unless you’re sitting upright, they are one of the most uncomfortable seats I’ve experienced. TG either need to upgrade the seats on the B747 (very unlikely) or put another aircraft type the BKK-SYD-BKK route."

Ulemper: "Entertainment system is way too old. Screen is small and very poor quality. The seat is also looked old. Service is below standard. I got my drink after I finish the meal. And don’t even think about refill or coffee. The flight attendants never come back before collecting the tray."

Ulemper: "Board was troublesome and wasted alot of time as the tube was not used.had to walk down a flight of stairs then wait for mini bus (with very limited seats), then take it for around 5-7mins drive to reach the plane. Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."
Ulemper: "I found it a bit odd that there were programs available from Bangkok to Vientiane, but no headphones to listen. I guess it improved my lipreading skills though ;)"

Fordeler: "We boarded on time, the crew were fantastic...very friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful but the salmon was somewhat dry. There were other options offered. The entertainment system worked but some more recent movies would have been appreciated."

Ulemper: "The food choice was limited - and it was spicy which didn't suit me or the children. The flight was a little bumpy."
Fordeler: "I liked that they enforced the rule on boarding by rows as many airlines have given up trying to do that and its a free for all especially with certain groups of people."

Fordeler: "Huge plane that wasn’t full so it was very comfortable. Boarding was quick especially since I’m a Star Alliance Gold member so was one of the first on the plane. Bags also came out first & delivery was very quick. Looking forward to flying Thai again several more times this month & wish I could experience their international service which I’m sure is stellar."
Ulemper: "Only thing I would mention is alcohol is not served but that’s apparently standard for Thai domestic flights."
Fordeler: "ARN to BKK: Good crew, good seat (Thai Premium Economy - available Scandinavian flights only), on time departure and early arrival BKK."

Ulemper: "Late departing, no gate, waiting, immigration jammed. Overall very bad."
Ulemper: "Our itinerary did not show that we had to transit in Chiangmai. It came as a surprise when we checked in at the airport. That was very misleading. We had to remove our hand luggage at each stop."
Ulemper: "Due to the late arrival of the previous Thai Smile flight in BKK we had to literally run the length of the airport to catch our next flight. We were taken at pace by an airport staff member who kept telling us that they were closing the gate so we had to hurry. Fair enough but having raced for a very long distance, minus shoes after the security check, we arrived at the gate to find that boarding had not even begun and did not for at least 10 minutes after we arrived at the gate."

Ulemper: "Old aircraft, 747 , seats very comfortable but no flat beds.. Choice of movies but mostly second grade."

Also was llucky on the flight down to HKt was on a brand new Dreamliner, I think they were testing. Wow! Multi coloured calming lighting and no window blinds ! 5heh work electinically like polarised glasses! What next! Highly recommend Thai Air for business class."

Unfortunately they served only a cup cake later in the evening. It was a 6 hour flight, thus a small cup cake late in the evening did not suffice."

Ulemper: "Economy class Seat was hard, did not move back much, had very less leg room, thus uncomfortable, couldn't sleep on the flight"

Ulemper: "The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate."
Ulemper: "We requested wheelchair assistance for my grandmother (3 days before the flight), but at the departing airport, the person with the wheelchair left early and we had to walk her on to the plane. When we arrived at Hong Kong, there was no wheelchair on the bridge, and after disembarking and being told to wait, it took 30 minutes for them to bring one. The ground staff kept trying to convince us to just walk which seemed very unprofessional."

Fordeler: "I paid $190 for extra legroom for an economy seat by an exit door, however the remote for the entertainment screen encroached an inch on the already VERY narrow seats - I'm six foot three and 215 pounds and both hips were in full pressing contact against the sides of the seat - TOO NARROW!"

Ulemper: "On time is an expectation that if you travel from HK to BKK on CX that it is always delayed .. common knowledge for people in Thailand.. this is bad"

Fordeler: "Our flight was delayed 45 in Chicago due to ice on the wings. Then about 10 mins of holding to land. With a 90 min lay over, unboarding and reboarding was rushed......but Cathay and security did their best I feel, It was only a 90 min flight and I didn't eat or watch a movie."
Ulemper: "Again, being 6-4, I struggle with comfort and after having no time to rest while switching planes, I was exhausted when I arrived in Manila."

So I ate some cup noodles but that’s also more carbs. So no protein was available for my diet."
Fordeler: "Flight attendants really attentive and friendly. Flight arrived right on time and at a close gate. Good food."

Ulemper: "We had lunch and then breakfast, skipping dinner. Considering we were in the place for 14+ hours, dinner instead of either breakfast or lunch would have been good."
Ulemper: "Flight was late. I understand that there could be unexpected problems. But please do not say that due to 'operational reasons'. Sounds like BS. Tell us he actual reason. Arrived late, engine problems, passenger missing, etc."
Fordeler: "We always fly with Cathay. Usually 2-3 times per year and feel the staff are professional and service is extremely good. I recently fractured my ankle and staff provided excellent assistance."
Ulemper: "The breakfasts for economy passengers is shocking. This has not always been the case. However, Now it is presented in a card board box and of very poor quality."
Ulemper: "The system was unsatisfied by me, they made my name wrong on The ticket and say that was a flaut to me and I have to bear the extra cost to onboard. I never use it and recommend everybody not to use it anymore."

Ulemper: "That they continuously made mistakes and wasted my time and money. Let alone no sleep and carrying everything to 3 different terminals not completing my trip on any of them. Now I’m spending Valentine’s Day alone in a hotel in Hong Kong instead of meeting my gfs family and sleeping with her the first time in Manila."

Ulemper: "Worst ever airline in the world charged me for Cary on bag $430 for weight 8.7kg from Oslo Norway to adiss ababa Ethiopia I recommend no one has to fly with Turkish airline poor customer service"

Fordeler: "I did not like anything from this trip. I just learned my lesson not to travel with turkish airlines ever again."
Ulemper: "flight was canceled from previous flight so we had to overnight in istambul and the whole situation was handled very poorly nobody took the time to explain to me what to do and mind this I was traveling with three year old and I found myself crying at midnight at the airport not knowing what to do."

Ulemper: "Upgraded seats in the planes, especially business class, seats did not work properly or recline all the way, very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre at best, movie library needs updating. I'm also not sure why an older model of this aircraft is used on such a long haul flight."

Ulemper: "The delay leaving Heathrow was not so good.... missed connecting flight in Istanbul and no availability on the night flight. Had to re-book with Air Astana."

Fordeler: "The seat & the food were better than I’d expected, and, of course, that’s a *big* part of the experience."
Ulemper: "I had to file a claim with Turkish because my new suitcase (not an expensive suitcase, but still) got seriously chewed up and is now unusable. At least it made it to the destination on time! And the contents were only slightly damaged. I will be happy if I get reimbursed for the suitcase."
Fordeler: "Crew were nice. It was a very quiet flight so plenty of room to move to other seats - see below."
Ulemper: "Although the flight was probably less than half full, by the time the trolley got to us there was only one choice of lunch. People in front reclined their seats right back into our faces. Seats were packed together very tightly. Given the lack of space, better to fix seats to only recline a little."

Ulemper: "Even though the same plane was used, the Cuban authorities asked passengers bound to Caracas to deboard the plane, pass to transit, to have us waiting an hour to re board. Boarding was a complete chaos. We were not handed headsets, so could not listen to inflight entertainment. Food was not good"
