Terrible experience with cancellations and delays and rebookings. THY suck at customer support in US and thru their partner JetBlue…
Checking in was smooth.They can offer more options for food.

Ulemper: "I asked for an aisle seat and I was assured when I checked in that I have an aisle seat. But this was not correct. The crew on the airplane did their best to accommodate my request and they were successful. So the mistake was that of the crew in Berlin where I started my flight."
Fordeler: "The crew were all very nice and the food was good."
Fordeler: "Service was great, very polite crew. The food was so far the best comparing with other airlines I flew with. Planes were clean."
Ulemper: "The flight arrived with delay in Istanbul. The connecting flight was delayed as well. Hopefully I won’t experience that on the way back. One of the passengers said that flights are always delayed when arriving to Istanbul waiting for gates."

Ulemper: "1. I wish that when I booked the flight it will say there is food on the flight, and that I'll have the option to choose vegetarian meal. 2. I wish the people at the Turkish lounge in I Istanbul would have been nice, and help me, and if not, guide me to a Turkish information to assist me with ordering vegetarian meal for the flight back, and to find something I've lost..."
Fordeler: "Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. They fed us and gave us blankets and pillows and slippers. They were lots of movie and tv choices. It was a very pleasant experience."
Fordeler: "Travel on THY within Turkey and between countries. Service excellent, food is great, amenities abound. Always travel THY when I can."

Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Fordeler: "Crew accommodated at seat change so I had a space between me and the next passenger and I got a row seat."
Fordeler: "Getting off that awful plane"
Ulemper: "Everything else. Wish there was a way to give zero stars. These people lost my luggage, were at least 30 minutes late for each of 5 flights on this trip and that includes the one that I was forced to take after this flight took off late and after landing they couldn't find a parking spot for their plane at the largest airport in their home country. Obviously I missed my connecting flight back to JFK. I was stranded in Istanbul overnight and forced to buy a temporary visa just to go to the hotel they offered for causing we to miss my connecting flight. What legitimate airline is so disorganized they can't figure out how take off on time, to de-board passengers, and park their planes at their main airport?"
Fordeler: "Turkish Airlines has an excellent entertainment system"
Ulemper: "They used to have more legroom"

Fordeler: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."
Fordeler: "Just entertainment system and crew makes your life easier on aircraft."
Ulemper: "Long boarding time from Amsterdam to Istanbul. No explanation of delay and THY wants you to wait miserably on gate. On Schipol airport there is screens everywhere and they do not bother to update the status of boarding. Instead, they behave like everything is normal you are the person making the problem."
Fordeler: "It's an international flight and they don't offer other food alternatives."
Fordeler: "Great food; plenty of room to stretch out (we flew business class)."
Ulemper: "The service on the flight from Houston to Turkey was much better than it was from Turkey to Houston. For one thing, the flight attendant never made up our beds on the way back to Houston. For another, the sound did not work at my seat, so I was unable to use any of the entertainment. The flight attendant kept trying to give me different headphones...it wasn't the headphones that were the problem!! He never really addressed the issue or coordinated a possible seat change (even though there were empty seats in business class)."

Ulemper: "The plane wasn't very full and my wife and I had 3 seats each to lay down and sleep on the long transatlantic flight"
Fordeler: "We flew a B777-300 on a 1 hour flight, a very interesting experience!"
Ulemper: "Boarding was not announced anywhere, it just started after people got up. Beware of this idiosyncrasy if traveling in Turkey. This has happened to me before."

Ulemper: "I honestly think the flight it self was a good experience for me y really don't have any negative thing to say about the airline"
Ulemper: "poor customer service and lack of speaking english made the trip very challenging. I don't think i will travel with Turkish air again."
Fordeler: "Had a wonderful experience in Istanbul for my layover. Turkish airlines took care of accommodations and the hotel was high above my expectations. If you have a layover longer than 10 hours in Istanbul and are flying Turkish airlines, they will take care of your accommodations and wil treat you wonderfully."
Ulemper: "The seats and space were TINY for an eleven hour flight, and I am a small girl. Nearly impossible to get comfortable. The exceptional service was my reasoning for the good rating. I would fly again but will probably pay for an upgraded seat"
Fordeler: "I loved the bendable headrests. Olives and cheeses are different airplane food and really nice. Plentiful blankets and pillows."
Ulemper: "They didn't have any child-sized headphones available for my daughter."
Fordeler: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordeler: "Crew was excellent: very attentive and polite. The food was actually good (and free), as were the beverages. The movie selection was much better than average, as well."
Ulemper: "Many passengers were extremely high-maintenance, but that's not necessarily the airline's fault."
Fordeler: "THY is no doubts the best in flights and services. The place, seats, food, entertainment is top. My frequent choice! Crew is very friendly and responds to requests quickly."
Ulemper: "My seat was terribly uncomfortable. The airplane temprature was really low that it made me so sick. I had a missing luggage where i did not hear any updates from Turkish Airlines for 5 days. I ALWAYS fly Turkish Airline internationally when going to Turkey. But after my last experience, i am not so sure"
Ulemper: "I could not find a way to ask for cancellation or reschedule"
Fordeler: "Turkish Airlines were a great surprise - everything was much better than expected. Highly recommend flying with them."
Fordeler: "Excellent food and service. Very friendly and professional crew."

Ulemper: "Took a while to board the plane a lot of standing around it seemed for no reason"
Fordeler: "I flew Paris -Hong Kong(round trip) with transfer in Istanbul and overall everything was ok. The in-flight service was great, food was very good and their fleet seems quite new and clean."
Ulemper: "Thw only aspect I didn't like was the fact that our flight from Istanbul to Hong Kong was delayed and that is not a big problem,flights gets delayed all the time. But the attitude we got from the ground staff in the airport was a big problem. We got to the customer service counter to get further information about the flight and nobody was giving us any information.Not even an apology for the fact that we waited for 3 hours in an airport at 2 AM. Everybody seemed so bored,that they barely spoke 3 words.They offered us a voucher at Burger King, but we couldn't order anything from the menu,but the simplest burger. We just expected a bit more from an airline that has somebody dressed as a chef on-board while serving the in-flight meals."
Fordeler: "This was my first time flying with Turkish Airlines, and I had a great experience. I travel internationally a lot and it has been by far the best airline I have been onl."
Ulemper: "Nothing. All good"
Fordeler: "The food, the crew, the beverages, the entertainment and the level of cleanliness were all excellent. On time departure on both segments."
Ulemper: "The Boeing 777 had the new, smaller seats. No control of overhead airflow among other things. Wish they still had the old Airbus A330's and 340''s."
