Ulemper: "The seats barely recline, the food is heated garbage, the movie options are few and stale, the flying and landing were amateur-level and vomit-inducing, and the service is curt at best."
Ulemper: "The flight was overbooked. We where forced to take another flight 6 hours later and in returen we where promised a 250 euro compensation and a 5 stats hotel to wait in. What actually happend is that we had to wait for 3 hours in a room without enoth chairs for everyone and then we got entry to the cheapest lounge at the airport."

Ulemper: "1. Flight late from Berlin to Istanbul. 2. That's mean missing my next flight from Istanbul to Riyadh. 3. I add extra baggage in TKL Airport : my original bag is 23 kg I have until 32kg, The extra baggage was 20kg, So I pay 247 Euro each extra kg 19 Euro. 4. In Istanbul airport they said your next flight tomorrow at 20pm. 5. I have important meeting in morning and my jop in the evening. 6. They changed my teket from turkish airline to Saudi airline 4.00pm, That's mean no different. 7. I ask about my baggage in turkish airline deck they said don't worry every thing will be okay. 8. I ask for hotel they said you have to make visa cost 60 dollars and you know I have to pay taxi and Chang money... Pla Pla, Actually this is not respecting and very bad organization. 9. I didn't make visa and stay from that time until 3.pm in primum lungs. 10. I went to Saudi airline deck to take my boarding. 11. They said you have extra baggage, I explain them that I payed already to turkish airline. 12. They said you have to go back to turkish airline deck about this extra kg's. 13. I did going back to them they said we cannot do anything, leave one bag here and we send the other one later. Actually this stupid airline and this stupid employee's dealing with me like a stupid, all my time I walk every where in that stupid airport, they just gives me orders and I have to follow like it was my mistake. 14. I showed my alfursan membership to Saudi airline deck and they helped me. 15. When I arrived to Riyadh my baggage wasn't there, this is mean that this stupid turkish people that the have to work on barbcue and haircut, but airports jop needs professional people. That's was my first and last flight with them."
Fordeler: "I like the fact that they were ready to inform the New York passengers of the boarding time at instanbul. I was able to go through the security faster than the other passengers."
Ulemper: "I didn't like the food. It taste sour. The foods needs improvement."
Fordeler: "The food was excellent fresh and plentiful. The bathrooms were very clean"

Fordeler: "there was only single screen entertainment every four rows or so. Nothing interesting."
Ulemper: "There was no USB ports to keep a phone charged. There was no power outlets between seats to keep a phone charged."

Ulemper: "The issue of excess baggage. Would appreciate to buy on line before my flight so that I know how much to carry and also that I am covered before leaving home. Payment at the airport may be too costly as well as unreasonable. It's like a penalty for having excess luggage. This is the reason I prefer flying with EMIRATES because they afford me to but pay fir excess luggage before my departure. Planning ahead is key"

Ulemper: "With 2.5 hr layover there was no explicable reason for our luggage not to make it to its destination. Yet we upon arrival to Sarajevo, we (and other 10 passengers headed to the lost luggage department."

Fordeler: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Fordeler: "The tv because I got to watch a couple of movies"
Ulemper: "The crew did not know what they were doing. My grandmother needed a wheel chair and the lady who took her did not allow any of us to stay with her , mind you my grandmother can't speak English. The lady also told us that she didn't need the passport or her boarding pass ??? Because of that my grandmother almost got lost , we had to wait for her for an eternity. She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life"

Fordeler: "Everything was perfect, the hours from Washington to Instanbul were perfect for night sleeping, the seats were comfortabl enough for sleeping, I didn't eat the late night dinner but the breakfast was good."
Fordeler: "Food is better than most and the personal touch screen entertainment center is top notch"
Ulemper: "When the person in front of you lounges back it's near impossible to eat your food or see the screen comfortably"
Fordeler: "Crew was solicitous and cordial. Movie choice had too many that seemed like they would have guns. I did find a couple of films to my liking, however."
Fordeler: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."

Ulemper: "1- bad service 2- bad attitudes 3- Always DELAYS 4- lost the bag"
Fordeler: "It's an international flight and they don't offer other food alternatives."
Ulemper: "The delay, the service, the fact that my bag was only delivered to me two days after I landed, and after receiving the bag I discovered that it had been opened and things were missing."
Fordeler: "Service on board was terrible..."
Fordeler: "Because it was my first time on Turkish Airlines I was a bit apprehensive but the experience was very positive. The crew was friendly, the service good, the food very good and the entertainment excellent. All my flights left on time and arrive on time or earlier. The airplane, an Airbus 300, was new and comfortable."
Ulemper: "The boarding process at Istanbul was a bit chaotic but the flight left on time. I guess the airport personnel knew what they were doing. Istanbul airport is big and modern. There a lot of nice shops, including Duty Free. One annoying thing was the large number of airport employees using these motorized transports, I.e. wheelchairs, bipeds, tricycles, etc, going at high speed. If you don't get out of their way they will run you over!"
Fordeler: "Everything from the greeting received upon entering the plane to the overall service for the entire flight was quite excellent and wonderful. A really nice perk was the kit given to all the passengers in economy class with slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, lip cream, and eye mask - no airline does this anymore and it is to be commended. The food on both legs of my flight (New York to Istanbul to Nice and the return) was actually very good -- this was the second time I've flown on Turkish Airlines and I look forward to flying again."

Ulemper: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."
Ulemper: "One of our suitcases was lost. Well, fine, it happened. From Kyiv we went to Georgia for a week. In one or two days we received a text to come get it in the Batumi airport. We came there - nothing. Then next text - come get it in two days. When it finally arrived - it was torn. I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."
Fordeler: "Same problem coming back, my flight IST to IAD missed because my my layover was only one hour, and when I got the desk of my connecting flight, I was not allowed to board, even though there were last few passengers were still moving to the plane. This time I had to spend another 8 hours on IST."
Ulemper: "I would have like quite a few things, but delays which were not uncontrollable ruined my whole trip"
Fordeler: "My seat was comfortable, the food and drink were good. In flight entertainment options were plentiful and satisfactory."
Ulemper: "Boarding started on time, but took far longer than necessary. Plane took off an hour after schedule which caused us to have to sprint through the Istanbul airport to meet our connector. And once we arrived in final destination, our baggage never made it onto the connecting flight.."
Fordeler: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordeler: "Boarding was fine in Istanbul. Go to toilet before going through security check in the gate."
Ulemper: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."
Fordeler: "The seats were actually comfy in economy. My layover was cheery at the Istanbul Airport."
Ulemper: "You cant be worried too much about time...had a tight connection = detached from luggage. Fixed the next day."
Fordeler: "It is nice that breakfast was served."
Ulemper: "Gate agents never called flight to board - just played an announcement twice saying it would board in 5 minutes. Free Wi-Fi on all flights would make your airline stand out. You may want to work with the airports to provide your passengers with cleaner toilets at the gates."
Ulemper: "Absulotely nothing."
Fordeler: "Movies selection and food was great"
Ulemper: "I was sitting in a row with 4 year old and her mother. It wasn't comfortable for them and for me at all, as the child was moving and talking constantly. Well, it's kid, I understand. But as I was going to use restroom I noticed that there was about 6-8 rows where there was only 1 person in 3 seats. Share and spread the space"
