Fordeler: Extra legroom seats are a godsend (but that's applicable to any airline, not just Wizzair, although they do seem to have a few more of these than other airlines - low cost or not). Also, despite a 35 min. initial delay, we eventually landed only 15 min. later than the scheduled time.

Ulemper: The boarding process at Gatwick was disastrous. There were only 2 agents, none of which spoke proper English. Also, one of them was busy checking each individual carry-on bag with unnecessary extra scrutiny, only to provide customers to the second agent, which was taking the payments for extra bags.

Fordeler: I liked that we were not late and that the late coming priority guests were told to pay attention next time. Take off and landing were both nice.

Today I was charged £25 on the spot by WIZZ AIR at the boarding gate, even if I disagreed with the charges, I wasn’t prepared to miss my flight W61301 from Warsaw to Luton. There is a degree of unfairness with these impromptu and extra charges. I came on the same flight with the same bag and there was no hassle. I was a soft target and whilst I had no problem with the flight and the service provided, I will not recommend @wizzair. I felt the extra charge was a con.

Fordeler: Even though I had a middle seat with no legroom (I'm 6ft7), it was still more comfortable than the Easyjet aisle seat I had outbound. The seat backs are plasticky but at least they are thin and don't encroach on your leg room.

Ulemper: Our flight from Lax to Barcelona was cancelled by airlines and we had to cancel our entire trip. For days now I’ve been trying to communicate with Ryanair to get a refund but neither claim forms nor EU261 worked. I sent countless emails and messages, but still have no resolution

Ulemper: Flight delayed 2 hours with very little communication as to why. We were not informed of likely length of delay. Once on board we were not offered any small compensation such as a free drink etc. Customers were moved to accommodate other passengers resulting in my friend moving from isle or middle seat. This wasn’t handled very gently and she wasn’t thanked.

Ulemper: Better management of certain unruly passengers causing a scene by taking seats which were not for them because they can’t be bothered to book two seats together during the booking process and try and take a short cut when it comes to getting on the plane.

Fordeler: We were able to bring our normal size backpacks as personal items even though they were certainly larger than the tiny personal item size limit.

Ulemper: We had a terrible experience with getting checked in online and adding a checked bag. Numerous issues getting in touch with the company and the call centre staff was rude and unhelpful. The website is glitchy. The fee for bringing checked luggage was very high. We won't use this airline again.

Fordeler: I was at the gate. Before the door to enter the airplane. The Hungarian crew wasn’t telling me that they are closing the gate or going to close it. They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight.

Ulemper: I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely.

Fordeler: Overall experience was good. Boarding was fine and onboard crew was nice and helpful.

Ulemper: Seats do not recline and there is not a lot of legroom, especially if you are over 180 cm.

Ulemper: Boarding was ridiculous, check in lady had no idea what an infant is and how their own app works. Suggested us to use the e-gate with an infant and angrily put us at the back of the cue. The infant wanted to breastfeed...

Ulemper: I paid 3 tickets for my kids from Prishtine to Budapest online through Kayak and when they went to check in they didn’t accept the tickets!!! They made them to buy new tickets because they didn’t accept those that I bought online.!! When I asked why they it happen they lady From call center turned the phone off.

Fordeler: I think some of the issues were passenger related, and passengers not listening to the crew. So it wasn't so much I liked it but some of the crew's attitudes were warranted based on the passengers.

Ulemper: We were loaded onto the bus to take us to the plane and then stood on the bus for 45 minutes! Then were delayed even longer. With zero explanation the entire time. Additionally having to pay for even water is a bit much, especially when I came prepared, but drank more because it was hot on the bus.

Fordeler: One of the very rare on-time, efficient and smooth flights with Wizzair. Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Ulemper: As usual, the cabin crew is adequately polite, but not overly friendly, the food & beverage range is mediocre and overpriced at best and the entertainment is virtually non-existent.

Ulemper: Wiz air seems to trick you constantly to get more money out if things they hide from you.. online check-in required.. letting you in work a trolley and then charge you at the gate.. pee service overall.. beware!!

Ulemper: They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience.
