informative info from staff-good breakfast-location excellent no complaints
Great location, wonderful staff!! Had to move as could hear the upstairs guests and children running about at too early a time.
Complimentary breakfast. The decor too. Rather a long way from city centre and would be a difficult walk (very steep) for those less able.
The neighborhood is beautiful.
I was nice that had breakfast every morning. Also had fruit and water and coffee and tea every day and evening. Wine in the afternoon was nice also with cheese and peanuts. The music selection. I felt like I was in Church
Superb location, staff very courteous and all rooms beautifully decorated and maintained. Very different experience from large impersonal hotels.
Beautiful area of Pacific Heights
We had a lovely weekend at Jackson Court. The location was perfect for walking to all of our destinations, and was a stone's throw from some amazing restaurants and fun bars, but at the end of the night it was great to come back to a quiet location. We slept with the windows open both nights, and my boyfriend wasn't bothered at all. I sleep like the dead, but he could hear a whisper from 3 blocks away and be up for an hour. Breakfast was simple, but enough, and we really enjoyed meeting some of the other travellers that way. I can't say we took advantage of the afternoon tea, but it was a nice offering. All in all, our stay was lovely. I imagine we will try and spend our future San Francisco stays at Jackson Court. While we didn't take a car, I can see what other reviewers were talking about when it comes to parking. This neighborhood is extremely residential, and that could present a problem for some. We also happen to love walking, and were willing to hoof it to most of our destinations, but if you are not a walker, public transportation is a bit tricky. Whenever we got tired of walking, though, uber or lyft were always readily available and pretty inexpensive
I liked the coziness of it It was kind of far from public transportation
great location in Pacific Heights, walking distance down to the Marina/Chrissy Field/Chestnut Street. Local neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants on nearby Union and Fillmore Streets. The Corner room was very cozy with window seats and chairs.
Perfect place to meet sophisticated, interesting people from all over the world. Nice style, friendly staff. No.
convenient location, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff mattresses were too soft, but the staff placed a backboard that helped alot
The room was awesome. Full kitchen, plenty of space! And the view was spectacular They charge you 30 dollar a night for parking. I really disliked this and probably wouldn't stay with them again only for this reason.
it was quiet and simple a little too simple, almost like "budget". for example, only 24 hours of free wi-fi during my three night stay. Only store bought muffins for breakfast. Only basic tv channels, there was HBO but i didn't see most of the regular line up. Only one chair in the room even though it was booked for two adults and had two beds.
parking fee is way too expensive, even though staff was instructed to say, "it's still cheaper than anything else in the neighborhood." this could be a reason for me to book somewhere else in the future.
Convenient location Free parking Very comfortable bed Have wheelchair accessible rooms and bathrooms The hotel smelled bad, maybe we had a room that allows smoking. It seemed as though new furniture had been put into an old hotel without doing any deeper upgrades. We reserved online through hotels.com and staff couldn't find our reservation, then said that we had already been checked in and had to go an make sure there wasn't anyone already in the room.
