Vennlig betjening og ryddig og greit hotell. Gode fasiliteter og greie rom. Bra med parkering. Nei
Beautiful setting in a quiet rustic part of Chamonix valley but close enough to town and ski slopes. Would be a good choice in summer too given the outdoor pool and proximity to golf course. Rooms are pretty basic even for a 2 star hotel e.g. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
Have enjoyed our stays at logis de France hotels. This was a few miles out of Chamonix so had to drive into town and park to enjoy the sights. However it was a quiet pleasant place with many recreational activities on site.
nice and quiet atmosphere, excellent breakfast
Beautiful view, Nice restaurant, Good location with a car. Staff were not that friendly
It was very quite and comfotable. It was difficult to find the hotel.
Excellent cuisine in hotel restaurant Decor and furniture a bit dated. Two mornings no hot water
Freindly and helpful Staff, spoke excellent English to go with my awful French! The internet was not working for five of my six day stay
Very nice quiet and inexpensive hotel with Mont-Blanc view. Swimming pool was a nice surprise.
Quite, close to bus and train stops, Hotel Staff, Good size rooms. No stand up shower in double room, water gets all over the place and cheap pillows.
this is more than four questions- you need to be more honest in your survey offer. the breakfast was delicious and the staff spoke english which was very helpful
Excellent views of mont blanc, fantastic to wake up and see the mountains from your balcony.
The view from the room balconies and the restaurant terrace is spectacular - Mont Blanc in all its splendor. The flowers and the vegatable garden were lovely. The rooms were comfortable with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was very pleasant with good cheeses, fresh fruit and eggs to order and even international newspapers. There was a sauna and jacuzzi which were very nice because we were alone there. More than two in the sauna would have been a squeeze. We dined there both evenings with the reasonable half board offer of 30 Euros per person for four courses. We had very high expectations from the reviews. But the food, while fresh and good, was in no way remarkable.
Wonderfully discreet and luxurious
staff was extremely accomodating and could not have been more helpful. Especially Myrhtitte(sp?). only stayed one day.
Sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig, gratis internett, garasje, god mat.
Super-friendly and helpful staff really made our stay a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and spacious (we had a superior double with a generous balcony overlooking the Arve river), breakfast was good value for money and the afternoon tea and cakes offered each day was a bonus after a day of skiing. There is a sauna and fitness room, a games room and a very inviting open fire. Everything was excellent
Location The restaurant has limited choice and is pricey. The bar is uncomfortable and not welcoming.
Hotel was clean and very decorative, beautiful mountain scenery
Facilities, friendly and helpful reception staff. Slight feeling of restaurant staff trying to guide you towards the expensive end of the menu ie wines, bottled water etc
Great view of mountains and glaciers. Nice pool / sauna / jacuzzi On main road. Rooms facing main road might be less enjoyable. Breakfast seemed expensive but was very good.
It is an excellant value Hotel offering a high level of comfort.
The food was the greatest weakness. Dinner was not served for around 45 mins and no explanation was offered for the delay. When it came, the food was very poor - e.g awful (tasteless) pasta dish and over salted meat dish. Breakfast too was completely unsatisfactory - the fresh fruit was some days old and had gone sour (fizzing with bacteria). No explanation offered - and no apology but the staff did not require us to pay for it. For the rest, the hotel is shabby - obviously heavily used for skiiing holidays and showing the effects - damaged facias, stained carpets etc. Over all horribly over-priced and poor value for money. The description gave a very misleading impression of the hotel. (Copied to Trip Adviser)
Near to transportation and near to 2 famous historical places ,mamokh and wax musem
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we found both the restaurant & other public spaces to be very pleasant. We both enjoyed the meals that we had in the restaurant during our stay.
Peaceful location, just off a main road leading to the Mont Blanc tunnel.Fabulous mountain views. A spacious hotel with good facilities.
Only stayed in passing overnight so cant say much, will love to use again. V|ery comfortable, breakfast inc. (little one) would have been nice touch, just coffee and bread and butter. Also, being vegetarian they made mje feel a bit uncomfortable asking for a veggie pasta. Only the request for a pasta and vegetables as I do not eat meat or fish. Made a bit of a big deal of it. Wonderful reception, wonderful room. Will come again.
Polite friendly staff. Decent room.
very polite and helpfull staff. Room clean and presented to a high standard breakfast was a little expensive in comparison to other eating places available. The breakfast room was not very inviting - especially considering the price.
Luxurious accommodation; comfortable bedding; great pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi; helpful staff the size of the "Mont Blanc" class rooms is small to mid-sized...
Great location, excellent breakfast room (in spite of very few guests), very helpful staff.
Beautifully furnished, very attractive ambience; very polite and helpful staff.
The hotel staff are really nice and willing to help the guests. In our room, the WiFi signal was week and could not get to the Internet. We could go online in the lobby, however.
I truly enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. The experience was warm, yet elegant and the location is perfect! Breakfast was $20 additional per day, per guest
Position, friendliness of staff
very friendly staff at front desk the balcony was very very small
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the surroundings are unbeatable.
Sentral beliggenhet, masasjemulighet, spa, jacuzzi, bra mattilbud, rimelig
Beliggenhet, stort rom (suite). Generelt nedslitt. Dårlig påfylling under frokost.
Kjempefin plassering, god service.
Spaavdelingen og frokosten. Bedre service i resepsjonen og i restauranten.
Location Room was very cold, heating functioned only on in the evening. Blankets very thin. Narrow bed. Bathroom old, with fungus smell. You've to decide the evening before whether you want breakfast or not. That's more a question for a hostel than a hotel. Big, smelly dog in the corridor, but that was probably not the hotels fault.
The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful with all things Chamonix. The rooms were crisp, clean, and although maybe a little small for some, they had many different options for any type of traveler. The hotel is at the center of town and about a 5 minute walk from anything. Definitely staying here again if not for the location and "hip" vibe, then for the fantastic staff (or the breakfast). Nothing.
The hotel was very quaint and comfortable. The rooms were decorated well and the furniture was very suited to the overall design of the hotel. We would definately recommend the hotel to friends and would stay again ourselves if in the area again.
The staff was very friendly and the location is very close to the city center and the pedestrian and shopping / restaurant area. The hotel has an old wooden floor which squeaks most of the time, which can be very noisy. Also, the hotel is situated next to the river that flows through Chamonix, and the noise from the water could possibly be disturbing. Also, there was a buzzing sound which seemed to come from the electrical installation.
Well located, good value hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities - bar, lounge etc. Staff were keen to ensure a happy time was experienced. No criticism applicable
The staff were friendly and informative, The location was really excellent - right in the centre of town. The room we had was quite small and got very hot on a night.
Very centrally located and the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
The location of the hotel was excellent. Right in the centre of Chamonix. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room we had was spacious and clean. The hotel did not have car parking facilities however there were a number of car parks close by so it did not pose a problem for us
The hotel was perfectly situated right in the centre of Chamonix and was very good value. The rooms had a lovely old worldly feel to them with their painted furniture. We'll definitely recommend it to friends.
Brilliant location right in the town centre within walking distance of all facilities. Great size room with amazing views. No onsite car parking, however free parking was available 5 min walk away.
Our room was on the river and with views of Mount Blanch, this is a small hotel for the traveler who does not want to spend the nest egg, this was a great find in Chamonix. If you drive parking is off site. You may drop your bags by the hotel, in three short term spot across the street from Hotel Valley Blanch, then they will show you free parking in the area. Some close and some not so close. We did not find a problem, because we read the reviews and knew about it. We did not eat the breakfast, for there are alot of small shops nearby,
Staff very helpful. Room basic but great for family with younger kids. Great location for wandering around Chamonix.
