I booked a double room but was given a single.
Clean, decent amenities. Staff was friendly Arrived early before check in. Said I would get a text when room was ready. 3 hrs later I walk up to desk and my room had been ready for over 2 hrs. When I asked about my text they just said "sorry about that". I kinda thought it was a weak response. Then I get a text asking for feedback so far and I relay the check in issue and the horrible pillows we had and again I just get "sorry" with out any offer to make it better.
Five minutes upon entering our room , there was another couple who entered. Apparently , the front desk assigned the same room and key card to different guests. After 15 minutes a guard came , checked the situation and assured me that everything was taken cared off. We went out to have dinner but when we came back we couldn't enter our room . I checked with the front desk and said the key card was de activated. We were never informed of such
The hotel was clean and upgraded. The A/C in my room was broken and it took about 3 hours for someone to come in and fix it. The room was stuffy and hot. We left to go get a bite to eat and returned to find out that they had not fixed it nor were we getting another room. Just off of the staff interaction I most likely would not return.
The bed was comfortable, the cleaning girl was very nice and helpful. The hotel was much overpriced to begin with and as we checked in, we were encouraged to upgrade for an extra $70 per night for something that didn't seem like an upgrade. The room itself was not luxurious by any means. We felt that it could get away with anything because it was right downtown. The long lines for both check in and the "continental breakfast" were not convenient.
I loved the coffee shop/store on the lobby level. Being able to purchase cold drinks and snacks, and even fresh sandwiches or pizza was a great surprise. The coffee was excellent in the morning. I landed, completely sleep deprived, at what my body thought was 1am. Maybe that's why I had such an adverse reaction to a very lively bar whose sounds echoed through the entire lobby. In fact, it seemed to take up the entire lobby as it spilled into seating that i had to walk through to get to registration. I could hardly hear the staff member trying to check me in.

The rooms are very small, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low it took me 30 minutes to take a normal shower when usually it takes me 10 minutes. It is very unusual to when the room dose not have a lock on the door I find that out after walking in to the restroom and embarrassing myself in front of my coworker room has two beds that means there is more than one person sleeping in your room that one person doesn't have to be a family member this case you was my coworker
Location Air temperature is controlled by the front desk. You will need to call them to adjust (really, are we in the 1970s???)-unbelievable). The air condition smelled like mildew and gave me a headache the following day. My roommate kept coughing the whole night which we suspect was due to the mildew coming out of the A/C vent. Bathroom floor was not cleaned. Found gross hair (and other too gross to mention) on the floor. Corners underneath the sink have dust balls. the bathroom toilet plastic seat was burned that it looked like you poured acid on it. I cannot believe they have not replaced it. The electric plug in the bathroom is not secured and about to fall off, the hair dryer would not turn on because of the faulty plug. (Again, really????) So disappointing as when I think of Hilton, I think safe, clean and decent...not the SF union square. Front desk was very unfriendly. No welcome or "enjoy your stay" greeting. He couldn't find our reservation. When I showed him the confirmation number, he gave me the look and said "oh that's hotel.com's"...whatever that meant. As if he was treating us 3rd class as we had not booked it directly with them. After a few minutes, he finally found our reservation. Again, very unpleasant.
The room was clean and modern and quiet The A.C. Barely worked the room was at 75 when we walked in and barely goth to 69 by 3am. The bathroom doors didn't close all the way and the lock didn't work, no vent fan.

My room was quite dirty, the toilet seat had something nasty in it, the table had years of dust,crumbs and scum under it. Our sheets had holes in them. Overall was very nice, most people were obviously there on business so I felt out of place not In a suit .

Comfortable bed; easy to take advantage of sightseeing; walking is convenient; complementary breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese is very satisfying. Noise outside building; very small bathroom; closet inside bathroom; use of bathroom light requires also use of noisy fan.
Very spacious room, good housekeeping service. Nice common area for breakfast and evening wine (complimentary). Decent location on the edge of the Tenderloin, no problems walking up Post St from Union Square around midnight. Very old carpets, very poor wi-fi connection.

Very clean hotel. Comfortable beds, friendly staff. Big spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, wine in the afternoons was a plus. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Overall I loved this hotel and would stay over and over again. Only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the street noise when the windows were open but it is to be expected. We are in the city.
The staff was friendly and greeted us each time we returned. Happy hour was a nice opportunity to meet other guests and unwind before dinner. The rooms could use some simple updates (ie. New bed spreads)

Close to all main San Fran attractions. Hotel has no Bar or Dining facilities & the partner 'Pub' the White Horse is a dirty let down.
The room has potential to be a great SF destination. plenty of room. Mini Kitchen stocked with reasonably priced snacks and drinks. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Wow! The place was noisy. There was a loud group on the street that so loud that I could not sleep. That is the only reason that I did not give excellent reviews for comfort. I called the front desk, but the group never quieted down. And the group was using the N word like Donald Sterling.
Location is perfect and room was a good size
Moved us from our first assigned room which was musty and cigarette selling into a club level room. Service was above average. Hotel is not up to kimpton standards. Carpeting and elevators were frankly dingy. Room was average at best.
Staff was extremely professional and super nice! The hotel was centrally located to everything and the room was really cool! Loved it!!

The decor was cool and the game room was a great feature. The walls were EXTREMELY thin...we could hear people talking in the lobby below us, and could hear every word people spoke in the hallways. That's my only complaint.
All of the fixtures (bed, shower tile, bathroom sink, desk, desk chair, lights, desks, etc) were top notch. Room had water damage down the corner and smelled bad. AC didn't work well. Lighting was very dim and had to turn on all lights to make it decently lit. Front desk didn't tell me about the amazing adult arcade that's in the back of the building.
The location The staff wasn't very helpful at all. Requested to have our bags taken up to the room after a hour of waiting had to go back down and get my own bags.
Was very confusing to get around to our room (was in another building) and there were a few scuff marks here and there on the walls and also the remote control had a chip/crack in the back.
I loved the game room and all of the stylish touches to the room! The color schemes felt good and the staff was very pleasant. I did not like the elevator. Way too small. I also could smell a stinch throughout the hotel like old moth balls. Just being honest. Also, just my opinion, but I think the hotel should offer breakfast. While I do appreciate the espresso in the room (which was delicious), I'd rather have food; if I can't have both.
It was totally worth the money in the location that it was in. I really like the old charm it brought out. Staff was very helpful and professional. Not an issue with me, but I do understand the complaints about the one elevator when there is two in the lobby.

Doggy Birthday Party Oliver's 3rd birthday. Benefit for animals that assist. Great get together. My toilet clogged the 1st night. very uncomfortable sitiutation. I am not a large person. (get my drift). so it wasnt anything that should have caused a problem.
Use the jaccuzzi, would have used the restaurant but it was too pricey. The people there seemed a bit stuffy, including the staff. When I asked a question it was like I was putting them out.
Great hotel - feels very luxurious, good staff, and complementary wine hour! Highly recommended. Our second visit and we'll definitely stay there again when in SF. Rooms could be larger. Area - although only a couple of blocks from Union Square - gets more edgy late at night, but that's how San Francisco works.
The decor was cute, and the room cleanliness we immaculate. Hotel rooms in San Francisco are pretty small, and this is no exception. However, the reception area was luxurious and beautiful, perfect during their evening wine receptions. I could go on about the wonderful staff- really, all of them acted like they were my friends, excited to tell me all about the good shopping, eating, et nearby that I HAD to try ; ) They were right too!
I've stayed at this property several times and it's convenient and a great property. My room had a moldy smell that got worse over the two nights I stayed -- I haven't had this experience at a Monaco before ....
This hotel is well-located -- easy to walk to Union Square and Chinatown, walkable to the waterfront/Embarcadero, and a quick drive to the Mission, Golden Gate Park, etc. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. The lobby area is a nice place to lounge, and the rooms are comfortable. It would be really helpful to have coffee makers in the room or room service -- there is coffee in the lobby, but if you are traveling with kids or have an early morning, it is useful to have it in your room. I didn't care for the fact that the water bottles in the room had price tags. It would also be nice if the wine service rotated wines.
Location and decor.
Hotel Monaco used to be one of my fav hotels in SF. This new Marker is horrible. They closed the spa, breakfast is extra charge. Parking costs 58 dollars. Short on staff to take phone calls. Take your business somewhere else.
Location. Rooms were clean. Rooms small, older building, odd furnishings, no views. San Francisco has many great hotels but this is not one of them.
The staff really was fantastic and pretty much bent over backwards to accomodate us in almost anyway possible. Plus I learned after the fact they are really pet friendly. Thats good to remember for the future. When I booked through booking.com the description said that the room I was booking would have a jacuzzi tub. I was going on a romantic get away and booked this room for this price becaue I thought it would have a jacuzzi tub. The room was beautiful, but no jacuzzi tub and the bathroom was a bit small at that.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the rooms style was not bad. The hotel is close to union square and great area to walk around. The decor pillows on our bed were dirty. My bathroom shower towel was only changed once during my four night stay. I found the restaurant prices high and the waiters were not so nice.

location...not much more free wifi no gym. They partner with an off site gym but they charge $15/day/person. rooms are tiny; so are the beds.bathroom are extremely uncomfortable. i hate to say it, but it was not worth the money.
Pillows were comfortable and thats about it. I travel often and ive never had such a tiny room, bathrooms were ridiculously small., literally had to be on top of the toilet to close the door. The hallways including the rooms smelled like a public restroom. Not amenities whats so ever. Surrounded by the homeless as soon as you walk outdoors. And the view of a cement wall was just amazing as well. I have had better accomodations at a Motel 6. Never again will i spend money at a Warwick Hotel. Next night i stayed at the Holiday Inn for the same price and had an amazing view of the city, bigger rooms, free wifi and just a bigger overall hotel.

Nice hotel, nice staff but small enough to feel more boutique. Room are indeed small and their is a distinct smell, like a musky smell around the entire hotel including the rooms. It's a smell you can get used to and ignore but off putting to begin with. Smells of damp, dusty air.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. My girlfriend & I received a text message from the hotel upon arriving at SFO requesting what type of room we'd like. Upon arrival, we were able to check in hours early and were given a room fitting our request. Though the view wasn't anything to speak of, it absolutely inspired us to not get cabin fever. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom immaculate, both the heat and a/c worked famously and overall - our stay was great! The Warwick is close to the Financial District, Union Square and provides phenomenal bang for the buck!!
Close to union square. Although the hotel stamp can help you save some parking fee, the parking fee is still high. The room smells not good. It obviously has the smell of old house.
Excellent location,Walgreens and liquor store just across the street, about a 4 block walk from the Bart station. Union square is even closer., very clean, food was great, above par cup of Coffee, helpful and engaging staff. Good bang for the buck One of the 2 elevators was broken the duration of the stay

Very run down and supprised it was on booking.com as we have always had great hotels in the past this was very poor, very old and outdated in urgent need of a make over, rooms were very tiny and the bathroom was a joke would never stay here again, apart from one young lad on the desk the rest of the staff were as old as the hotel, very rude and unhelpful,if we had been staying in san francisco for any lenght of time we would of checked out and found a different hotel.
The hotel was fine. We did ask the staff for a quiet room, but instead got the (probably) most loud room. At the end of the hallway with aircon machines or what ever running all day/night making a lot of noise. The guy at reception said they stop at 10pm but they didn't. So he lied which I don't apreciate. For the rest reasonable hotel for the price. The man that checked us in, lieing about the noise in the room.
The best part of the stay was the convenient location to Union Square and the affordable price. When we used the valet parking (the only option for parking a car, and a pricey fee over and above the room charge), they assigned the car to the wrong room number, so at checkout time there was confusion and wasted time.

Very friendly staff, convenient location and nice area, clean, comfortable, great value for the room rates. None come to mind. Maybe tea and coffee faccilities in the room would be nice, but its not a major issue, it has a mini bar and the restaurant is just downstairs.

It was very convenient for Union Square, theatre district, shopping etc. The breakfasts were more than adequate, the pub atmosphere at the end of the day was very relaxing and very friendly. There was nothing to dislike, a little old fashioned, but for 2 oap's from uk was fine.

The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The elevator worked, the beds were comfortable, there was ample closet space, as well as a dresser and mini-fridge. There were coffee shops, pharmacies, and restaurants within a block or two of the hotel, which made it a great location. And the price, of course, was hard to beat. It's an old building, which comes with both charms and inconveniences. The old radiators, for example, pump out quite a bit of heat, which must be great on those cool, foggy days. If you stay over warmer days like I did, shutting them off and opening the window will bring the room back down to a comfortable level, albeit slowly. There are also no ventilation fans in the bathrooms, so they have louvered windows in the showers to keep the moisture levels down. This creates an interesting dichotomy of hot and cold in the same space. It took some getting used to. There were only two outlets in the room, which I've come to expect in older buildings. As a business traveler on a budget, you learn to travel with a power strip.

This boutique hotel has so much charm. It was perfectly located for our many day exploration of SF. I also found it to be located in a hip area, being around the corner from the, reservations only, craft cocktail lounge Bourbon & Branch, and the best Thai restaurant (according to expats) in the city, Million Thai. I shopped many (endlessly beige and corporate) luxury hotels in the area, but was won over by this luxury hotel with personality. The room was very clean and quiet. We found the duvet and bed to be very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern with a wonderfully relaxing shower. The reported remodeling was complete when I visited and I found that the photos were an accurate portrayal of the rooms. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again, and would enthusiastically endorse it to friends and family.
Location, pineapple scent A ton of little creaky, old, uncomfortable things about this hotel add up to a tough place to sleep. This includes hard pillows, creaky pipes, random irregular sounds from the walls, a heat-happy thermostat, and so on
Everything was very nice and the staff was very friendly. I also liked check out time was 12PM without having to ask for a late check out.
The hotel was close to centre of town and accessible to most attractions by foot or cable car. No coffee facilities in rooms and the room itself could have been a bit larger.

This hotel is very charming in an old fashioned manner. Dark wood furniture, parquet floors, tiled bathroom, and shuttered windows. I stayed on the third floor facing the street in a deluxe queen room. I found there to be plenty of room to move around. The queen bed was very comfortable. Everything was cleaned spotlessly every day. Its proximity to Union Square made it an excellent base of operations, and I felt safe walking too and from it. The hotel's restaurant, Millenium, is a truly excellent vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a great bar. The food is phenomenal and the staff knowledgable and friendly. Continental breakfast included. Tequila shot on check-in and wine and cheese from 5-6pm! Reasonable WiFi. I will definitely stay again. Since I had a room facing the street, I did get some street noise in the early morning. It didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room in the back of the hotel--there's not much of a view anyway. WiFi signal strength was a little low in the room--good enough for email/web, not enough for VOIP/videochat. The continental breakfast had a limited selection (although that didn't bother me).

After long days of walking and shopping, your great hot showers were the best part, followed by a little wine and cheese. Was great! The location is perfect! There was some funky smell coming up from the lower level... It wasn't overwhelming - just noticeable. It certainly won't stop me from coming back.
The yellow "pineapple" touches all around the hotel were adorable!! we stayed in the queen starlet room which was small but you'd hardly notice - it was laid out very well. Bathroom is very modern! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Our airconditioner didn't work the first night. The front desk offered to move us to a new room but we declined, hoping the window would provide some cool air. The next day our AC was fixed while we were out and we didn't have further problems. Also wish the the bed had a top sheet in addition to the fitted sheet - Sometimes the duvet was too warm.
room overall was very small, but looked very nice and clean. not much of a view in downtown San Francisco... we were staring right into someone else's hotel room in the adjacent building. solid room, great customer service. area underneath toilet lid seat was filthy

I had a really great first time experience at this hotel. One of the things that I liked about this hotel is that you don't feel like you're staying in a San Francisco boutique hotel (aka tiny, narrow walkways, tiny lobby's). I've been to SF a number of times and stayed in boutique hotels and after a while they get kind of eh. The JW Marriott was fantastic. It was clean, in a great location, and every one was helpful. The bathroom was very luxe, which is why I chose this hotel versus the Marroitt. I used the gym in the morning and it was clean and had your standard requirements for a gym. I would def recommend this hotel to others! I was a little bummed that our drain didn't close. I wanted to take a bubble bath but wasn't able to. I would have complained but we were only staying for one night

The hotel has lots of character, the lobby looks like the lobby of an old movie theater. The room also was furnished in period style, with a nice view. Very conveniently located near Market Street.
This used to be a Kimpton Hotel and still has the cool factor that Kimpton brings to all its properties. Sadly, maintenance has waned since the hotel was sold to an investment company.

I really liked the architecture and our bellhop/concierge (they play double duty) was really nice. The rooms are small, which I expected from an old building. The mattresses are awful (truly, truly awful), which I din't expect and the price is high for low amenities and low quality. Also, the valet parking is $60/day. When we checked out, they asked how our stay was and I told them the mattresses were really uncomfortable and they just sort of ignored that. They probably hear it all the time. I won't stay there again.

I typically stay at a large chain hotel but couldn't get one on a short notice - the price was right and I really enjoyed taking a break from the same large business hotels. The lobby takes you to another place in time and everyone was very friendly. The room was clean and quaint. My colleague was staying at the much larger Hilton right across the street and loved the Serrano when he stopped by. It was a nice break from the usual and well worth it!

Rooms were small but clean. Hotel was well kept for its age. Location is in a difficult side of town. Hidden costs such as a $22.00 tax. We made them take it off. $59.00 for parking we were not told about the cost. Then our account was charged other amounts we had no idea what they were.
Staff were friendly. Lobby was nice. Close to union square. I quite liked te location. Room wasn't that clean, dust balls and items under the beds. Beds very soft as mattresses were old. Bathrooms looked very tired and were cramped. Wallpaper scuffed up badly. Needed remodel. Also there are a lot of homeless in this area, I got woken up every morning in the early hours with neurotic screaming and shouting from people sleeping outside.
Lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms, detailed and comfortable, great, and I mean great coffee in the lobby for mornings. The kind of hotel where you seat in the lobby and watch activity and relax. Just wonderful experience. Close to union square and Powell and market shopping and activity. It was perfect really!

The personalized service was amazing. Upon our arrival, we wrote it was our first time to the city. The concierge hand wrote a welcome card and included a map with highlighted areas we must see WITH a detailed (again handwritten) explanation of each place corresponding to color print outs of the sites. INCREDIBLE!!! Also, the room was quite spacious and loved all the windows. No pool, bar closed early, bartender was not enthused to be there.

The room was large and had a great bathroom and bed, there was some noise from the air-con units outside and the bin men in the morning but that was expected as you're in the heart of the city. The room had a stand-alone air-con unit which meant that you had to keep the window open to use it letting in more street noise. Apart from that minor annoyance our stay was perfect.
They treated us fantastically well and gave us complimentary bottle of champagne, flowers and chocolates on discovering our stay coincided with our wedding anniversary Nothing.
Although the hotel is getting an exterior facelift, the facilities were great. They are affiliated with the Marriott and Marriott rewards program. There is a nice restaurant and bar adjacent to the lobby area. Our room was spacious and clean. Also, there was free wifi throughout the property, which didn't need a password, very convenient for jumping on and off of the network. There was a little doggy bowl at the front desk, so I would assume that they are pet friendly. The bell desk and front desk were separated by a huge pillar which made it awkward as you could only see one of them at a time during check in/out. I'd imagine that this is very cumbersome during busy operations. maybe they will be addressing this issue during their remodel.
Excellent staff, large, nicely-appointed and very clean rooms. Restaurant/bar had recently closed. While I would think that a new establishment will takeover the space, this was a bit of a disappointment during my stay.
Liked the small boutique feel. Hip, mod and chic. Great value in a great location. A little on the fringe of the tenderloin but didn't affect the stay. Valet parking worked out great and the parking prices are more reasonsble than most.
Great room, recently renovated, clean and cozy. Don't use the hotel valet parking, it's a rip-off at $39 a night while a parking garage next door is available for $20.
The location and decor of rh hotel is great. The rooms could not have gotten smaller, and our views was of a alley. Horrible experience.

I loved how it was a boutique hotel and honestly what I was looking for in SF. Only stayed 2 nights but would have stayed longer. Would definitely look into staying in the hotel again if we needed to. We had an end unit so we had windows on both sides of the room. Our comforter and sheets were white and bed frame a cute black vintage one. I feel this made the whole room open up with nice vintage touches with the desk and extra chair in the room. We had a little closet which held my mini suitcase and a built in bookshelf. I can't speak for the rest of the rooms but I do feel like we lucked out in ours. Great water pressure which I appreciated!! Weird thing to remember but it was awesome! I woke up abruptly in the morning because someone was standing outside the door talking. I couldn't hear through the walls but the next morning was a jolt I wasn't ready for. Could have just been a loud talker that no matter what door was there he could have been heard. One of our face towels had a stain, but didn't bother me much, I just put it aside not to use. Other than that, no problems.

lovely hotel, beautifully decorated: restored Victorian decorations, private bathroom, breakfast and wifi included, convenient location. We easily walked home after seeing the fireworks at Embarcadero. right after checking in, we walked to tourist info and unwittingly walked right through Tenderloin, which is only one block south. Luckily it was during the day, so it was ok, but we passed at least 5 people who looked strung out. The other times we walked to the hotel, we avoided Tenderloin and it was fine.

Decent location and clean Not for the business traveler. The room barely fit the double bed and the bathroom was so small the sink didn't fit. The walls are thin and it's very loud through the night.
Staff were nice, Italian restaurant is tasty, free wine and cheese after 5 I believe. Parking is minimal so expect $40 for valet and I had a small car per night. Overall enjoyed my stay.
Location, staff, quiet and old world charm of Hotel
I loved my room and the cleanliness. When I checked in a nice clean room with two beds that I booked were ready for me. The hotel's location was good for me for all of the things I wanted to see from Lombard Street, to Lands end, Pier 39, and other places I wanted to see were within a 5-15 minute drive from the hotel. There was a decent, filling breakfast that I had before I left in the morning. I did not pay for that as part of my stay abut it was nice that I was able to enjoy it. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. A little tip is that there is a parking garage at the intersection of bush and polk (only one block down) that offers cheaper parking than this hotel's valet. If you get your car parked in there a little past 9pm then get your car out before 8am so that your bill is only $6. Overall it was a great stay but If I ever go to SF again with my car I will definitely try to make sure the hotel has its only parking b/c it can be expensive to pay to park near your hotel on top of parking to see sights around the city. The biggest complaint I have is that the hotel claims to have parking but its actually valet parking that is anywhere from $26-$40 a night depending on the size of your car. I stayed there from Dec 30-31 and the room was freezing. I had a thin blanket which was not really sufficient. There wasn't much a view but it was not that big of a deal to me as I was there to see sights not sit and look out of my window. The staff was so so. I went to the front desk to ask about parking and that is when I was told that they had valet and no actual parking lot for guests to come and go as they please. Then I asked them about other parking garages around and they were not too helpful. In helping me finding alternatives.
Simple hotel, but very well kept, in a quintessential SF neighborhood, and incredible value for money Room was a bit small and decor a bit quaint, but it is the style of the place

Central Location in the city. New room furniture. Clean. Rooms cold in general and very very old heaters in the rooms which were extremely noisy. Very small bathrooms. Too expensive for existing amenities.
the location cleanliness: I complained twice to get my towels changed ad my supplies refilled. facilities: the sink in the room looks really bad. I had asked explicitely for a large bathroom and I was give na small bathroom with the sink outside of it.

Hallways are too narrow, rooms are too small and you can't tell which door is for the bathroom or the closet once in the room, the bathroom is ridiculously small in their standard king room (closet might be bigger) - not worth what you pay for, and both elevators were down so it was a major inconvenience having to go up and down 7 floors. Thank goodness no one I was with was in a wheel chair. When 1 of the 2 elevators began working again, we still didn't trust it because of how small and noisy it was the one time we were able to use it. There is no parking- you have to hope you get lucky finding street parking - or try to find parking in the obnoxious parking structure around the corner, and by that time you might at well pay $50 for valet for the convenience of it. Overall, not a place I would recommend or stay at again.
The hotel is in a very good location. The room we first booked was very small and expensive for what it was. We upgraded at a price to a much more comfortable room. Shop around because though we liked the hotel it was quite expensive.
Inexpensive, convenient The room was fairly dingy...not dirty, but dark. It was in the center of the hotel, so the windows only looked out on brick. Otherwise it was fine.
Very Centric. Great Location. Staff was incredibly helpful since we found hotel after a bad experience. Rooms are kind of small, but you go to San Francisco to spend time outside not inside the room so I guess it's ok.
The noise at night, couldn't sleep. The water pressure was non existent.
Love the contemporary look to the room and the bed was very comfortable. For the price the room was very nice but for a bit more $ I might have opted for a larger room.

The room was great, very complete amenities, comfortable, usable space. The Internet barely worked (slow connection for an hour). Mostly no connection, inadequate help desk support with no follow through. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable after a couple hours. The safe only errored.
Exceptional value ... well designed rooms that were spotless...and the "happy hour" in the early evening on the 12 floor overlooked the city - this was a great way to meet other travelers and plan our evening and next day events! We then had an amazing breakfast in the morning - this was more than I've ever experienced at hotels I've paid twice as much a night for! I would stay again - whether for business or a shopping trip with some friends. We were traveling with our 6 year old daughter on this trip...the staff were very accommodating and gave us a room that allowed for a cot at no extra fee - lots of little perks which we appreciated! Only disappointment for our daughter was that the pool facility did not allow for children.
Service and staff were good.Fairly reasonbly priced for the quality of hotel. I took me Toyota Tundra pick-up there and they charged me dbl.rates to park my car which came out to $58+ for one night at a parking garage a couple of doors down from the hotel.The hotel didn't have any parking of their own....
like staying at one's club: gym, library, theater, courteous staff, restaurant, excellent breakfast, and central location yet quiet.
Location is great! Room we had was very noisy. Woke up each morning at 4.30 am due to street noice. Mentioned during check out but no real reaction or good answer received.
