Ulemper: "They delayed the flight from 8:55 to 10:15 but we didn’t board until about 11. They left us outside in the cold and extreme wind instead of having us just stay inside until the plane was ready. When I complained the employee said there was a woman onboard with a wheelchair and they didn’t have a way to get her off. When we finally got on takeoff was delayed another hour. They blamed all of this on air traffic control staffing in France, didn’t take any responsibility for the delay with the wheelchair. Ryanair is a disgrace."

Fordeler: "The counter agents were helpful."
Ulemper: "Very cramped seats that did not recline. Lots of overcharging for things that are free on other airlines. The cheap seat was more than offset by the numerous upcharges for other services. I'll never fly with Ryan Air again."
Ulemper: "Bag policy is not clear. We had two guitars so we paid for two bags then i found out there is musical instruments charge which is 50 euro per instrument. It’s a discrimination against musicians. Huge sporting goods fee is cheaper than that. Also there is no phone number to call. I asked about refund at ryan air check in desk and nobody knows what we should do. Ryanair makes it so easy for customers to pay add on fees but they won’t refund you when you pay by mistake. Total non sense."

Ulemper: "*the plane was late showing up. *staff in France locked the doors while we were waiting for the late plane, cutting off the only source of fresh air in the terminal *the slam down landing was unpleasant *the crew did not distribute immigration cards causing delay at the terminal as I had to fill it in there while the line grew longer *once we landed, there was no place for the plane to park so we waited *once we docked, there were no stairs available for the plane, so we waited *once in the terminal, they announced delays for the baggage, so we waited."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed by almost four hours."

Ulemper: "Baggage policy is very unclear. Boarding procedures are slow and inefficient. Seats are uncomfortable. Air didn't function and the flight was very hot."

Ulemper: "The A/C made the cabin so cold that I am still shivering nearly two hours after landing. The cabin was cramped and uncomfortable, but I have experienced less comfortable seats on other budget airlines."

Fordeler: "This was the worst boarding process we’ve ever experienced. It wouldn’t take much effort or common sense to bring some order to it. Ridiculous!! Also, as others have said, they really get you on the baggage fees, and push you by email to check in early and charge you for it. We waited until a few days prior to check in for free, but then we were unable to sit together... We did arrive on time and the flight went very smoothly."

Ulemper: "Flight was late. They announced that it was time to start boarding so we left our seating area in the airport just to go stand around for a half hour. Then they scanned our passes and made us stand outside in the windy cold for another 15 minutes. They should’ve let us stay where we were until the plane was actually ready."

Fordeler: "Flight was delayed, very late notice given to were stuck and couldnt get out. Bus took us to the plane and were waiting for 20 mins in a bus while the plane was unload with previous passanger, fueled, cleaned etc!!!! Overall got 2h delay"

Ulemper: "The gate for the flight was changed at the last minute and the flight departed 30 in late."
Fordeler: "inexpensive and quick flight so did not mind the tighter space"
Ulemper: "after all the fuss I heard about the airline, they never checked bag sizes or weights for anyone! the gate agent could not figure out how to login to start the boarding process, prolonging the on-boarding process"
Fordeler: "The price is very reasonable"
Ulemper: "You have to be very careful with this airline. Although the price is really inexpensive, if you do NOT follow any of their rules to the letter they charge exorbitant fees that could double your price. Also, the boarding on the tarmac and waiting fior a long time in the sun was miserable. They are constantly trying to sell you things during the flight which is annoying. And not being able to sit together unless you pay more is just plain rude. The many steps up and down to get to the plane with hand carry is hard. I kept thinking if anyone tripped or fell there could be many people badly injured."
Fordeler: "Predictability. With international travel, there are many stations to be met. My flight with Ryanair provided predicable travel with transfers in mind and courteous professional service.I felt safely cared for. thank you"
Fordeler: "I arrived safely without a scratch. The entire crew were very nice. Things were clean. There were no screens for the addicted. I got some sleep before the announcements and sales kicked in on the short flight."
Ulemper: "Gate was changed after initial assignment. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't sat almost in front of the counter and overheard a customer there saying my flight. I asked someone even closer to the counter if that's the gate, and was told no. There aren't even display boards at the counter so you really have to check. The right gate ended up on the opposite end of the airport, so I wasted a trip and a half, in a way. The previous flight was late, so we boarded half an hour late. We were warned to wait another half an hour on the tarmac but luckily got out in less than half that time. There was no liquid soap in the toilet. I unscrewed the bottle (they really save money and the environment there), put in hot water, and was able to get the soap I needed."

Ulemper: "Luggage hassles - even when you prepaid."
Fordeler: "Flight attendant was friendly."
Ulemper: "You can't check any bag for free. They make you check-in small carry on suitcase that would have been able to be carried on at other airlines. Each check in bad cost 35 euros. So don't be fulled by the cheap tickets. Between my son and I, we checked in three bags. You have to pay for the check-in bags at a different location, which almost made us late for our flight. Plus they fly to STN airport which is far away from the center of London. It costs 120 pounds to get to our hotel from this airport."
Ulemper: "They made me go through a lot of runaround -- three different lines -- to get a boarding pass and I had to pay £15 for it."
Ulemper: "Only use this airlines, if you don't have any luggage, if you don't care about reaching somewhere on time, if you don't care that every single step there is an extra cost. I plan to NEVER use this airlines again."
Ulemper: "They charge for everything (including seat assignments, checking in at the airport). They couldn't accept U.S. credit cards on the flight, so food and drink purchases had to be in cash. They even charge for water."
Fordeler: "Getting off the plane after we landed."
Ulemper: "arriving plane was delayed and they would not put me on another plan without repaying the whole amount, I will never use this airline again"
Fordeler: "Plane was fine, crew was pleasant, flight was on time."
Ulemper: "We checked a golf bag. It was disaster trying to retrieve it at Stanstead. It took one solid hour, three people, and my husband finally having to get it out or the security area himself."
Ulemper: "Boarding was slow"
Fordeler: "The flight was on time, I paid the extra for the seat at the front which got priority boarding, and there were empty seats at the front of the plane. I was out of there as soon as the plane landed. Just close your eyes and it will all be over soon."
Ulemper: "People were lining up 15 minutes before boarding and the boarding process was more like a rugby scrum as everyone piled into the back of the plane. The food was pretty mediocre and not cheap, but there was nothing to purchase in the airport terminal."
Fordeler: "Generally the whole experience was very good. I'd use Ryanair again."
Ulemper: "Acoustics in both the airport and airplane were very poor. I understood almost nothing in French or in English."
Fordeler: "Actual flight was fine once we took off."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2 hours. Clearing border control prior to lining up at gate is chaotic."
Fordeler: "I needed to be in London early as I had a connecting flight and Ryanair got me there on time"
Ulemper: "Standsted security not opening the door to the terminal when we arrived by bus from the plane."
Ulemper: "Gum and candy wrappers stuck in the sides of the seat. Crew spoke poor English. Co-fliers were loud, drunk and unruly."
Fordeler: "From reviews I had read online I was expecting not such an easy experience. check in online was super easy, staff was very friendly. The weather created a very short delay. Main isuue was the very disorganized boarding process"
Ulemper: "The boarding process was so disorganized! People boarded from both the front and the back with no regard to where their seat was located on the plane. So people had to squeeze past each other as they found their seats. It would be pretty easy for Ryanair to just board people by their seat number or separate people into 2 lines - one to board from the front, one line to board from the back."
Fordeler: "staff were friendly and efficient, get what you pay for. good service and on time"

Ulemper: "Delays rude staff and new style boarding pass rejected at check in."
Fordeler: "It went from A to B on time and at a low price, and the crew were good."
Ulemper: "Everything else is painful, but it is what one should expect. However airlines need to get the luggage policies sorted out. One pays extra for hold bags and then has hand luggage placed in the hold for free as there is no more room in the plane. This is a routine part of boarding now."
Fordeler: "Good legroom, good price, friendly staff."
Ulemper: "Instructions in the airport sometimes missing, sometimes unclear. Long wait because incoming flight was delayed but no announcement to explain. Stansted is not a nice airport."
Ulemper: "Everything. Baggage policy unclear...paid excess charge at airport.....lines long... 2 hrs to get to gate. Seats.....like a rock. Longest 2 hr flight. Prefer to be drawn and quartered....would be more comfortable"

Fordeler: "Not much. Won't fly with them again. Would rather pay a bit more for being treated in a civil manner."
Ulemper: "Ryan has zero customer service and treat passengers like cattle. Paid extra for 4 people to have priority seating and an assured cabin bag space, yet was forced by staff to check bags at gate! Staff don't appear to know their own rules or tickets? Insisted nothing on our tickets indicated we had paid for that service, yet ticket clearly said Priority!! Another staff member later said we were right and should've kept our bags but at that point it was too late as they'd be loaded. And, there were multiple spaces still left in cabin overheads for bags when we boarded. All they tell you is to go online later and make a complaint or try to get a refund for the priority fee. But I imagine that's pointless and expect little response. Ryan Air... ripping you off while pretending to offer you a service."

Ulemper: "Took to long to board. Even though you pick the seats with extra leg room it does not make a difference. You are cramped. Stood outside for a good 5-10 minutes in 40 degree weather because they decided to open the door but would not let anyone in the plane yet. They should of let us stay in line inside then try to board and be in the cold."
Ulemper: "We missed the flight because there was traffic"
