Fordeler: "Is a case of what didn’t I like. When you fly low budget just expect surprises. The small prints are terrible clauses and you will never know when they will get you. Today I was charged £25 on the spot by WIZZ AIR at the boarding gate, even if I disagreed with the charges, I wasn’t prepared to miss my flight W61301 from Warsaw to Luton. There is a degree of unfairness with these impromptu and extra charges. I came on the same flight with the same bag and there was no hassle. I was a soft target and whilst I had no problem with the flight and the service provided, I will not recommend @wizzair. I felt the extra charge was a con."

Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."

Additionally having to pay for even water is a bit much, especially when I came prepared, but drank more because it was hot on the bus."

Sat bolt upright with front seat digging into knees for 3 hours. Far from the cheapest ticket, but totally no frills, no food, no entertainment, limited baggage. Wizz Air mobile app barely works when required (for boarding passes, etc) Not enough room in overheads for all the carry on they allowed, had to sit with bag and jacket on my lap for flight, as no room under seat either."

The space in the seat is very limited and cramped, I was very uncomfortable in the chair with my knees pushed into the back of the seat in front. I am 6ft 1in which is tall but not that tall. Anyone taller might not be able to get into the seat at all. There was a problem with the website so we couldn't check in online and we had tried to change our flight a few days earlier but the website again didn't work, we tried to call a call centre whose number was on there, didn't work."
Ulemper: "With WizzAir no more in my life it’s even worse than Easyget or Raynair even if you have a cabin suitcase you still have to check in you can’t take it on a plain anymore. Really disappointing and they are not that cheap as they think. £90 one way from Kiev to Luton it’s a bit too much"

Ulemper: "Both flights were Delaid. It was unorganized in every point, felt like chaos. Ryanair sells same services for cheaper price, so I thought it was overpriced."
Ulemper: "I didn't check in, in advance as when logging on to the airline I needed a code. I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Ulemper: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

The flight had delayed 1 hour and we still payed 110 euro. The crew had very rude attitude. This was the first time flying with Ryanair and it was a complete disaster. I believe it is unacceptable to pay for something that it was not my mistake and I except to receive a response from you soon."

Then I noticed people in the area frantically getting up...witching 5 min there was no gat to a message that said boarding...last call! We frantically got to our gate which was a large metal pole building...where we stood for 30 plus minutes."

I was told I needed a paper copy ticket, couldn't get one until exactly 2 hours before my flight according to the ticket agent. I waited patiently while many others checked in (later to see those same people on my flight who clearly checked in before the 2 hours), but then found out from a different ticket agent that I didn't need a paper copy ticket, so I waited there for no reason due to misinformation from your ticket agent. My flight was delayed twice, then they lined us up at the wrong gate. After scanning our tickets, the door wouldn't open to let us out to the airplane, then they lined us up outside the plane in freezing cold winds because they were still cleaning the plane-the guy was still taking the trash out. Where is the "priority" in that? I know I really only paid to not have to check my bag, but it's also called priority - not quite sure they understood that. Will probably never travel this airline again, too much hassle and frustration for such simple things."

I asked about refund at ryan air check in desk and nobody knows what we should do. Ryanair makes it so easy for customers to pay add on fees but they won’t refund you when you pay by mistake. Total non sense."

Considering I bought two tickets for myself and my boyfriend, I ended up paying 40€ more just for check in and seats. This was a rip off. Then the boarding took much more than expected, we waited for 50 minutes standing up in a queue after the gate was announced, we boarded the plane late. The seats are super small and uncomfortable."

Fordeler: "I really appreciated receiving one on one attention to check in on my health status as well as some sparkling water to settle my stomach, and having a bag for nausea. They were incredibly adept at dealing with a potentially sick passenger, and got me a wheelchair to depart the plane."

Ulemper: "1. Despite a delay of over 3 hours, RyanAir provided neither reimbursement nor meal vouchers, despite both being required by EU law. 2. Our boarding passes said, "if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the ticket counter or boarding gate for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance." When we learned the flight would be delayed 2+ hours, we followed these directions; the gate agents told us, quite dismissively, that it applied only in case of a 3-hour delay. After wrestling with NAP's snail-pace wifi, I found the relevant text on the RyanAir website and showed it to a gate agent. She said her supervisor had told her that it had to be a delay of 3 hours but that she would check with her. I never heard from her again. It became a moot point when the flight was delayed more than 3 hours. Even then, the gate agents did none of the things the text said they were supposed to do. 3. The gate agents were not RyanAir employees, and it seemed RyanAir did not communicate with them in a helpful way. Independent of this, though, they were also just not competent. Here are some other things that happened: - About 2 hours after the scheduled departure, despite there being no plane at the gate, one of the gate agents started the boarding process. He let about 30-40 people into the holding pen; then a passenger pointed out that the delay had increased another hour. The passengers in the holding pen had to stay in there (one asked to leave to use the restroom and the gate agent told him he would have to surrender his passport while he was gone). - Once the 3-hour delay was posted, they started handing out gate check tags like candy. It was unclear why; perhaps they thought it would soothe the passengers' anger. We did not request one then. When we boarded, my wife asked for one. The gate agent did not even acknowledge her request (despite still having a good number left). - When the plane did arrive, the passengers in the holding pen rushed the door of the jetway. About 15 made it into the jetway (and, I guess, onto the plane) before a gate agent shouted at everyone to stop, ran over, and closed the jetway doors. 4. In other news... passengers were loud and rude. When the delay was first posted, they formed an angry mob around the gate agents and yelled questions that could have been answered by reading the monitor. Half of them had their seat belts off and were standing as soon as the plane landed. The whole row behind me was so loud I couldn't hear the music coming form my earbuds. The guy behind me pushed me as we were getting off the plane because he thought I wasn't going fast enough. Needless to say, no one should ever fly RyanAir."

I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."

Fordeler: "* the fast track really works. gained like 20-30 minutes. but that's with any airline if you take off from ciampino airport in rome. * the priority works ok as well. huge plus. but you are a target of "oversize" luggage. see my other comments. * seat reservation also works as advertised. although you might get away just fine with them assigning you a seat. those little planes fill up pretty quick so it's a good idea you get those add-ons to your ticket. they do add up to your ticket though."
Ulemper: "* carry-on luggage. they mean a small backpack or super small carry-on like the ones kids use. if it's regular airline carry-on regardless of weight, they charge you €50 on the spot. then you allowed to take it on board with you. pay up or take another plane. not even obi wan kenobi could get away with it. "this is not the carry-on you are looking for" -(crickets) cash or credit card sir?" * i saw others with the same carry-on i have and they didn't get charged. some others did just like me. * the planes are just shuttles. imagine a mini van with wings with no reclinable seats. * stick to alitalia or any other well known airline. it's a __lot__ cheaper overall and better service/quality"

We clicked on checkin and went through a whole process to pay for a checked bag and to pay for picked seats. Despite that we were still somehow not checked in. They also tried to charge us for a checked bag. At first they could find record of our payment for a checked bag. This all smells like a scam or maybe just shady practice to charge as many fees as possible. Charged for water on the plane, 3 euro."
Fordeler: "When I paid for the upgraded priority seat, why did the crew give the seat next to me away for free? Shouldn't he pay just like we had to? She said it was because he has long legs. Well, so does my husband and we paid for that seat in 1-A and 1-B. So, the man who took 1-C proceeded to be rude and rest his arm on mine the entire trip. FAIL!"

Ulemper: "Again, can't complain for the price. But it's REALLY economy. Uncomfortable seats, no entertainment or beverage service. Charging 15 euro per person to print tickets is insane (we were able to avoid it but still!) - but again, for the price of a ticket, you can't ask for much."

Fordeler: "I liked that it got me where I wanted to go. The staff was nice."
Ulemper: "I had to jump through hoops to print a boarding pass even though I had Ryanairs app with a mobile boarding pass. 3 hours of my Sat and Sunday in Barcelona were spent searching for an open copy/print shop. Would have been nice to know more than 48 hours before my flight. I get to the airport after not finding a print shop, expecting to pay through the nose for them to print the tickets for me and they say I didn't even need it. They supply the boarding pass. Wow. The boarding is a joke. They don't board in zones, so the line was literally 180 people long. I wasn't even in the back of the line and it still bothered me. Now let's get to the plane, again, staff and pilot were great. The seats have NO leg room. I have long legs and it was miserable. No seat back pocket to put things. No recline on the seats. The aisle way sagged everytime someone walked past me, leaning my seat toward the aisle. I know, I know, you get what you pay for. This flight I paid for a lesson. That lesson being never never never ever ever ever fly Ryanair again. I would gladly pay a little more money to save my poor knees from being in that position again."
Ulemper: "My daughter and I were traveling together and my flight was booked a day earlier than hers due to miscommunication. When I asked to change either of our flights (so we could be on the same flight), they wanted to charge full price to change flights. I declined to pay that much and was crying prior and during flight. When I asked the flight attendant for a water to take medicine with (showed them my pill) they wanted to charge me for a water even though I was obviously upset (my nose and eyes were red)! Very disappointing experience with Ryannair!!!"
Fordeler: "We traveled as group (5 people) and the weight of our luggage differed. The Ryanair checkin person helped us quite a bit."
Ulemper: "The only way to describe the comfort on the flight was spartan."
