Ulemper: "The fact that I can't use my own headphones and I'm forced to use the cheap airline-provided ones (with the dual plugs). Single biggest reason to not fly Lufthansa, because I can't enjoy the movies!"

Ulemper: "Our flight was 9 hours late. We were given no notice of this until we arrived at the gate. it took an hour if holding before we could reach customer service. Customer service at our arrival gate was extremely slow. Baggage claim closed before my daughter’s luggage was released and it was lost until the next day. Our connecting flight was booked incorrectly do we had to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our 13 hour flight took 29 hours. The food was awful."

Fordeler: "The seats are comfortable and the plane was clean and well-presented."
Ulemper: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."

Fordeler: "Although clearly an older plane, it was clean. Gate personnel re-assigned me to a seat in a row with no-one in it."
Ulemper: "The gate of departure moved twice before departure. The last change was to a completely different building. Apparently the equipment was changed and I did not learn that I would need a seat re-assignment until I scanned my boarding pass during boarding. (However, the gate agent was quick to accommodate)."

Ulemper: "There were no Lufthansa representatives in Frankfurt airport upon my arrival. Also my connecting flight wasn't showing on electronic board. I had to get WiFi connection in order to get any info. I was very unhappy about it ."

Fordeler: "It was quick and smooth. Snack provided. Baggage arrived quickly."

Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."

Ulemper: "Plane delayed. Then when on board, pilot apologized due to the very warm cabin as "the auxilariary power unit isn't working." Then long delay because the baggage ground crew messed up and again according to the pilot "we apologize for the ground crew's failure to do their job properly and some baggage wasn't loaded properly." Once we landed we had like 20 minutes to go through security AGAIN and nearly missed the final flight to our Seattle destination. No mention of local time upon landing, no one at gate to direct lots of people rushing for connections."

After we waited, the couple didn't make it past security; so, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the company to take their luggage off of the plane. I was late checking into my hotel, which was in the process of being canceled."

Ulemper: "I have no idea why they would book this flight for a connection to Chicago. They only gave me an hour window for connecting and with the plane delayed 30 minutes I had to rush through and skip everyone in like at passport check and made it just as the were boarding my connection."

Ulemper: "Good for entertainment but the headphone insert in my particular seat would only play through one ear. Not a headphone issue, they worked fine in another screen. Inconvenient for a long flight."

Fordeler: "Unfortunately expectations on flights are so low that I am hesitant to say much. It got us there in one piece and I guess that is considered nice these days."
Ulemper: "I don't normally expect much of airplane food but this was a very low end food for an overseas 8 hour flight."

Ulemper: "45 minute flight delay due to a discrepancy with the engine."

Ulemper: "From the boarding to the landing this crew could not have been more rude. Flashlights in the eye when trying to sleep, rude comments, rude attitude. They are clearly not here to make our flight easier."

Fordeler: "The crew was great, very friendly and attentive. Sitting in Economy plus is acceptable comfort wise. Captain was very communicative when there was a mechanics issue and delay, much appreciated."
Ulemper: "United check in desk was unnecessarily long wait, other airports/airlines have a better flow. The screens on the seat backs on 767 are ridiculously small and stuttery. The main meal was not very good, pasta sauce was gross, could've done better with prego."

Ulemper: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Ulemper: "The cabin crew was racist! She asked me to move from a seat because she wanted another guy ( obviously from her country ) to take it! Rude and racist."

Fordeler: "Very friendly crew going out of way to assist in making trip comfortable"
Ulemper: "Had travelled KLM to Amsterdam on my first flight 27 years ago and the aircrafts are stuck in that age! Lousy seats, poor quality bathrooms, lousy screens, prefer not to fly them"

Fordeler: "expedited check in with nice staff. Security staff were pleasant, and the entire check in process for everything was easy"
Ulemper: "there was no lounge close to our departure gate"

Ulemper: "Actually the Welcome on board announcement. The part where they special welcome loyalty program members. I do not get that... I am an explorer holder my self, but really?? so other paying customers are not as welcome. This is leftovers from the older days.."

Ulemper: "Unaccompanied minor flying to Lisbon overnight. Bag was lost. No real effort to assist. Bags of unaccompanied minor should be treated with priority."

Fordeler: "Pleasant flight"

Ulemper: "Boarding was a free for all. The travelers did not pay attention to the priorities."

Fordeler: "The cabin crew were pretty good. That's about all that was good."
Ulemper: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Fordeler: "Excellent experience with the cabin crew."
Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Fordeler: "From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew."
Ulemper: "The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!"

Ulemper: "Everything! The crew was rude, no entertainment whatsoever, late boarding, late departure and bad experience with the check in process both in app and on website."

Ulemper: "Not only was there free food but they tried to sell you a bunch of stuff. Not a moments piece."

Ulemper: "They didn’t let us board the plane. Allegedly the plane was changed and make us travel by train!! They offered us a compensation but we haven’t heard from them yet. Not good experience at all."

Ulemper: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy!"

Ulemper: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Ulemper: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Fordeler: "The staff was fast and curteous."
Ulemper: "There is not anything to complain about besides the usual discomfort of travel."

Fordeler: "Overall, my trip to Cardiff via Amsterdam was smooth and delightful. I've flown a few short trips this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to find KLM still offered complimentary snacks. What a refreshing change!"
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment which is why I assigned that category only one star. The boarding process in Amsterdam could have been a bit smoother. Announcements were no clear."

Fordeler: "Crew was friendly, and the food was better than the usual KLM fare."
Ulemper: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."

The entertainment system kept crashing and forgetting what shows everyone on board we’re watching. There were no air vents to control. The games crashed constantly. The usb hubs didn’t work."

Ulemper: "Cabin was very cold. Not enough legroom compared to orher international carriers. Male flight attendant kept bumping into my husband sitting in aisle seat so he unable to get any sleep. We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Ulemper: "The aircraft is a bit old and somehow the flight crew didn’t offer me the full menu as the menu describe. First time encounter that in a business class"

Ulemper: "Not enough bathrooms on Economy class area due to aircraft design."

Fordeler: "Quiet! No noise-canceling earphones needed. Delicious food."

Fordeler: "Boarding this large plane went relatively quickly and orderly."
Ulemper: "Seats were tight and got a bit uncomfortable. This was a long flight. Could use a much better cushion."

Ulemper: "The interface of the screens seemed old Need to anticipate the needs of the customer better For example, they brought me my special meal first, but I had to wait 30 minutes later to get a drink to accompany it. The food was getting old. Did not see any newspaper/periodical selection. That would have been nice."

Ulemper: "Airplane delay to take off 1 unknown reason After landing in Paris 50 min sitting inside airplane moving around Late for flight transfer. Sitting in Paris airport 5 hours. Customer service no working. Never fly Air France anymore !"

Ulemper: "I did not like that i was in the bulkhead and there was not sufficient overhead storage for us. The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Fordeler: "It was a wonderful flight and service . Hospitality and welcoming."
Ulemper: "Nothing everything was amazing ."

Ulemper: "Terminal too far to go to loggage, walking about more than two miles after a long trip is not very easy AirFrance should have a better terminal at Charles-de-Gaulle!!! Have some missing stuff in my luggage!!!!"

Fordeler: "Ground crew at CDG was helpful to file a claim for the lost luggage."
Ulemper: "Ground crew at MXP Was inexperienced. She called every one in my flight to form a new line and it was immediately total chaos. And then they lost one of our luggages!"

Fordeler: "Boarding for BUsiness class was fine. Seating was cramped."
Ulemper: "As I said in my rating, seating was cramped. Food was mediocre. Crew was pleasant."

Ulemper: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Ulemper: "Couldn't adjust the seat and the cushion wasn't comfortable neither seat or back. The bottom back was like a board across the bottom and hurts."

Fordeler: "Boeing 777 had a lot of space. Good legroom. Timely departure and arrival, hassle free, safe trip all the way. Enjoyed the red wine; very delicious!"
Ulemper: "Seat didn't recline. The entertainment unit was very difficult to dislodge and raise to use (We were in the front). Movies were kind of older ones but I had reading to do so entertainment wasn't that important."

Fordeler: "nice crew; excellent check in experience!"
Ulemper: "boarding in Riyadh is always a nightmare. and as many have noted, the seats are too close for the average size of many boarding in Riyadh"

Fordeler: "There were 4 of us flying from Atlanta, there was a great amount of leg room, tvs were nice, remote control for the tv fit into the seat, the way the plane was laid out, the 4 of us sat in a middle row, which meant no window seat (which my sister was disappointed), dinner options were great, wine was complementary"
Ulemper: "My only problem was that there wasn't any air flow and until someone told them how hot they think it is, it was a very sweaty situation. I couldn't sleep because of how hot it was and I didn't think to tell the crew because I didn't know they would care."

Fordeler: "Efficient boarding. Interesting hot food. Entertainment variety very good."
Ulemper: "Business class seats hard. Did not flatten out for sleep."

Fordeler: "The flight went smoothly from boarding to landing. The crew was helpful, kind, & courteous. I would definitely fly Air France again. Online check-in was also easy to follow and complete."

Ulemper: "Left a little late for no apparent reason."

Fordeler: "Entertainment center is brand new and Cleanliness Crew was ok And yeah there's wine (that way you can get plastered and ignore the uncomfortable seats)"
Ulemper: "Checking in was ridiculous. They're charging for literally EVERYTHING now. On economy class you have many options: - Normal (free!) "ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Fordeler: "Not much"
Ulemper: "Ground service at check-in was very poor: Misinformation and failure to provide a level of service that other SkyMiles partners provide for Gold level traveler."

Fordeler: "The airplane was new, good food and service."

Fordeler: "Average flight"
Ulemper: "Food on AF montreal - paris flight and totally rude stewardesses"

Fordeler: "Pleasant staff."
Ulemper: "I sat next to an overweight lady and was incredibly uncomfortable my entire flight. There needs to be better regulation for overweight passengers to ensure that every passenger has enough room"

Fordeler: "The in-flight meal was very good. The flight was much quicker then I expected, but there a lot of turbulence for much of the flight. Most of the flight attendants were very nice."
Ulemper: "We were put in the last row of seats, which don't recline, though the row in front of you reclines into you and you are trapped. One of the flight attendants was rude when we were trying to deal with our child who had vomited. CDG (Charles DeGaulle airport) is poorly laid out and poorly run, in my opinion, starting with the landing of our flight. After waiting over a half an hour after landing to de-board, we were given much information In trying to get to the proper places to check certain baggage items, and we walked up and down and around a whole terminal trying to get to the proper gait. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this airport. Thankfully, the flight itself after that horrendous experience was good."

Fordeler: "Air France is always a great experience-Sure wish they would restart their nonstop service from Orlando to Paris or partner with a discount carrier to code share service."
Ulemper: "That i had to go through Air France for my luggage problem which was really not their fault, it was Condor/Thomas Cook who created the problem."

Fordeler: "Rakk ikke flytoget, fordi det gikk FØR det sto at det skulle gå. Ble derfor for sein til flyet.."

Fordeler: "Kule karer i besetningen"
Ulemper: "Trangt når den i midten sitter bredbeint"

Ulemper: "The plane was stuck on the tarmac for several hours , resulting in a late arrival. No free drinks were served. The seats were uncomfortable. As a result, I only got a couple or hours of sleep on the plane"

Ulemper: "Legroom. Complimentary coffee."

Ulemper: "Boarding was an absolute mess, nobody knew where to go, lines in all directions, hours long. Then there were delays from loading luggage. Then they ran out of food on the plane."

Ulemper: "Check in, boarding, delays, all were a disaster. Seat was broken, crew did a poor job with cabin service."

Ulemper: "If they at least offered complimentary drinks and snacks."

Fordeler: "The crew was not friendly and there was nothing to like and will not recommend this airline"
Ulemper: "better organization from the ticket counter and the boarding. Very poor performance"

Ulemper: "Renhold, søppel og mat i setene. Veldig varmt i flyet før avgang og ble sittende en stund før avgang."

Ulemper: "att det inte blev den tiden på flyg ifrån Gardemoen som jag bokade skulle flyga kl 9tiden men blev 15tiden"

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."

Fordeler: "Ganske god mat."
Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"

Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"

Ulemper: "Internett virket bare tidvis og ikke i begynnelsen"

Fordeler: "Super fast boarding, quicker flight than expected"

Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"

Fordeler: "The plane was comfortable, clean and modern. The seats were not cramped. It was possible to sleep on the overnight flight without interruptions from the crew. The pilot was funny and helpful and landed the plane so smoothly that I didn't even know we had landed!"

Fordeler: "The Alitalia Lounge at JFK has pretty good food and overall the flight is fine."
Ulemper: "They don't have a separate boarding line for business class, they allow economy passengers to pass through business to use the restroom which kept waking us up. We are paying 3 x the price of an economy ticket, so we should have a few perks besides a more comfortable reclining seat with a footrest. I am not asking for perks that cost the airline any more money as I know this is an economy airline."

Fordeler: "Entertainment was great, as was having a usb port to charge devices."
Ulemper: "Didn't like that i had to pay for a blanket on an international flight."

Ulemper: "Forsinkelse. Både ved avreise og ved landing"

Fordeler: "Service onboard was excellent and prompt. When we ordered items they arrived very quickly."
Ulemper: "Checkin needed to be better planned and managed. Line was much too long. Get more staff earlier to prevent the lines from getting too long."

Fordeler: "The flight was scheduled for 10:30pm and left at 1:30am, causing many passengers, including myself, to miss our connections- there was no assistance and no explanation. The seat spacing is very tight and seats are uncomfortable. One of my worst flight experiences."

Fordeler: "Kanon bra flyvert.. veldig underholdene"

Fordeler: "Comfort was adequate. Flight staff were helpful and friendly."
Ulemper: "Flight delayed without notice and seats given away. Family all seated separately and gate staff were markedly unconcerned even though we booked our flight and chose seats months in advance. This is our second time flying Norwegian and a second disappointing flight. The first time the entire flight was cancelled and the airline failed to get us to our destination (we had to book a separate flight ourselves and seek reimbursement—still waiting for it). The savings just isn’t worth the poor customer service. Returning to Delta and American. It was a mistake to switch to Norwegian. Lesson learned."

Fordeler: "I liked the Inflight Entertainment System, the 787 aircraft. The cabin crew were pleasant. I particularly liked the price. Only gave food 1 star because I didn't want to pay $45 for meal service. Really should be able to mark it NA."
Ulemper: "Departed over 90 minutes late. Captain said it was due to late inbound flight although aircraft was at gate at scheduled departure time. We started boarding almost on time and then sat in airplane about 90 minutes."

Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "The crew was inattentive. No one checked seat belts or chair positions at takeoff or landing. To the crew, the passengers were non existent . I had cold air blowing on me throughout the trip and asked that the direction of the air be changed. After my request, I never saw the crew member again and I spent a five hour flight with my hair blowing in the wind. The crew enjoyed their own company partying in the “kitchen “ without caring that passengers could hear their conversations at 2:00 in the morning. Again, inattentive and unkind!"

Fordeler: "On time"

Ulemper: "Cabin was baking hot throughout flight. Small selection of movies. No way to get comfortable in seat to sleep at all. Anytime food or beverage served light is on, so it was bright a lot of our red eye."

Fordeler: "God plass, gode seter og hyggelig service."
Ulemper: "Middag var kun 1 av tre alternativer igjen når de kom til nest bakerste seteraden. Dette er litt for dårlig med tanke på premium bilettprisen. De løste det ved å hente mat fra lowfare cabinen og det etter at de hadde servert alle på premium."

Ulemper: "I checked 1bag. They lost it. They can’t find it. That’s spoiling the trip."

Fordeler: "I am 94 years old, and my daughter in law was able to get me a wheelchair while we were standing in line."
Ulemper: "inefficient movement of lines for check in. you needed more people checking the passengers in for their flights. and if you have bags, it is a nightmare as you have to go to a separate line to do so. did not pay $45 for an airline meal - seems outrageous to me."

Fordeler: "Easy check in, friendly staff"
Ulemper: "Terrible music before take off and after landing"

Fordeler: "New airplane, Dreamliner"
Ulemper: "I bought premium tickets several months in advance but the airline overbooked those seats and we were placed on standby. Finally, we ended being downgraded to coach despite buying our tickets several months in advance without a reasonable excuse or compensation. The whole thing is very upsetting and disappointing."

Fordeler: "Good service, smooth boarding, 2 meals, comfortable flight."
Ulemper: "Crowded space like most flights."

Ulemper: "I didn’t like that they don’t even offer you water it you didn’t pay the $45 for the meal plan."

Fordeler: "Nothing"

Fordeler: "After reading other reviews of Norwegian Air, we expected indifferent flight crew, strict carry-on restrictions and low cabin temps. So we came “prepared” for our overnight long haul flight, but it turned out the cabin was fairly warm and the young flight crew from Norway, US, France and Spain were even warmer. They were all merry, super responsive, and went out of their way to offer assistance. Although we hadn’t pre-ordered food, they gave a sandwich to my ten-year-old, and then when they had a few left over, they gave them to us (the parents) and others. They are either a new crop or they’ve gotten re-training since previous poor reviews. Also turned out layered clothing was enough and we wasted carry-on space bringing small blankets, not that they cared very much that we brought a regulation size carry-on plus a slightly-too-large personal item each (never measured), PLUS a paper grocery bag half-filled with snacks. So we went over our limit but there were no issues, and the overhead bins in the Dreamliner were NOT full. Maybe on other planes, or if you’re among the last to board, it might be different. Also, on-board blankets were only $5 to purchase (not “expensive” as we’d previously read.). Seats were certainly tight, but all coach seating is these days, and overall... a great flight experience. ALSO... they have a handicap accessible bathroom on board, and provide crew to push the aisle chair as needed. Awesome."
