We visited Chicago to see Hamilton. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants and attractions, very close to the Private Bank Theater where Hamilton is playing. We arrived slightly early and worried about getting into our room, but the staff were able to accommodate us. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. The self-park was included in our stay and very convenient. We had a king bed room which was very nice and clean. Overall very pleased!

The proximity to Grant Park is great! Responsiveness to room requests were slow to non existent. I had to make three requests to have extra pillows delivered to my room (one request in person to the front desk staff, one to housekeeping, and one using the mobile app). I thought that was a bit excessive to get two extra pillows that I was told would be delivered the first time I walked down to the lobby and asked in person.
The location is good: close to subway, next to park, easy to get food to eat. I thought this is a 4-star hotel. When I saw the entrance of this hotel, it looks like 4-star. But when I got into the room, I thought I was in a 2-star Inn. The coffee maker is dirty, full of dust. The computer is not working and not able to off screen. The decoration of the room doesn't look like 4-star. Also, when the guest at next room used the bathroom, the loud "boom" sound would shock you. The WiFi is only free at lobby. The speed is really slow. When I refused to pay $30 for upgrade room with WiFi, the staff looked not happy. My teen girl was very disappointed for her trip to Chicago. She always wants to stay in hotel but this time she didn't want to stay longer.
The hotels staff was incredibly nice. The hotel itself was extremely clean. The location was perfect. It was close to everything touristic

Rooms are pretty clean and comfort Staff was really bad, they treat you in a bad way, they didnt provide any help, they charge you for everything. I asked for a double bed room and they charged me extra 20$ even I requested the room weeks ago, Internet isnt free and is really expensive.
We walked everywhere. This is great to see the city. I needed a plug for my CPap to sleep at night and there were none by the beds. I called for an extension cord but never got it. Had move things around to sleep.
Being close to the parks. The loop is very walkable. They changed our reservation for a suite with two beds and a pull out couch to 1 king bed. Could not find the 3rd party email to show them this was wrong, had to pay an "upgrade fee" to get what we had already paid for. The Willis tower has over 105 elevator cars, this place had 3 and one of those was not working. 2 elevators that served 15 floors. Housekeepers very kind, but you never see them until late in the afternoon/evening. Had to call down for towels every day of our stay. Had an awesome view: of the construction right outside of our window. Good news, the crews don't work weekends. Bad news: they work late in the day. Interior is dated. Beds are hard.

Walk in shower was nice, bathroom very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Nice location to restaurants and the river. Staff very helpful, especially Dan. Dan was awesome and helped us book another night so we could be in the city longer. Good price too. A few shower tiles were dark, possible mold. It only had one door so water splashed everywhere. A palm-sized piece of the wall was missing and FYI if you don't want to hear street noise such as sirens and honking ask for a room away from the street, you won't get the best view but you'll be able to sleep without interruption.
the reception and the people there are excellent. The gym facilities are outstanding and the people great. Breakfast is not continental. This could be better.

They never came. I switched light bulbs in the 4 lamps so I could get work done. The breakfast is not staffed and you have your choice of two cereals
