Ulemper: "We purchased tickets with baggage. Was forced to pay for baggage again at the airport. The people were rude, unwilling to work with us and almost made us miss our flight. We travel all the time and this was hands down one of the WORST experiences I have ever had"

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..
Ulemper: "The plane was small. It was a quick flight though."
Fordeler: "Amazing crew, fast boarding."
Ulemper: "Uninspired food. I was served the same meals 30 years ago."

Fordeler: "The flight itself was fine. We had a two-hour delay due to a mechanical issue, but the crew took care of it as quickly as they could."

Fordeler: "Crew was great and the plane was comfortable. All the amenities were included in the price and that was a plus."

Ulemper: "The plan was old and dirty, old magazines and gum wrappers in my seat, stained carpet.The ride was quite bumpy."

Ulemper: "Confused information and double/extra charge for only one check-in baggage. They should make clear in the first place when booking ticket or check in online but NOT. I have to pay $83 dollars for one luggage."
Fordeler: "That’s what you want, eh?"
Ulemper: "It would be nice to get a complementary cookie with the complementary coffee..... no concerns otherwise."
Ulemper: "If you want to have a different meal than what they offer, you have to contact customer service before hand. I never been on a flight so far, where there wasn’t a vegetarian option. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."
Fordeler: "The food."
Ulemper: "The seat are so narrow"
Ulemper: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."
Ulemper: "Our ticket said economy, but it was a specific set of economy that did not include any baggage. If we were warned prior we could have purchased it for significantly cheaper. Our ticket was not clear and it cost us 175usd for two bags at the airport. Very disappointing"
Fordeler: "Entertainment great, plane clean and newish. Breakfast way better than most competitors on transatlantic. Fruit salad, hot good sized rolls, yogurt, thick slices of ham n cheese so much better than BA’s downsized granola bar and mini muffin ( that they also serve in the upgraded class!"
Ulemper: "You really need to either have no legs or be 5’6” or less to fit in the seat without angling sideways. But alas SAS is no worse than the competitors in this department. Crew served meal 2.5 hours into 9 hour flight and about an hour after complimentary drink. My can of Coke was well gone when the mediocre dinner arrived and I got an earful for daring to ask for another one. It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing."
Fordeler: "Excellent all around. Super smooth, friendly and fast!!"
Fordeler: "Really appreciated how helpful everyone was, from check-in at Newark to arrival. The entertainment system worked well, too. Aside from the two issues I describe below, SAS seems to be extremely efficient and well-run."
Ulemper: "There was some mix-up - not sure where - but I did requested a vegetarian meal and it wasn't in the system. I'd also requested an aisle seat due to a hip issue and was told I'd have one - but when I went to check in, I'd been put in a center seat in a bulkhead. I was able to change but it was the last row of the plane. We the gate they were able to move me up at the last minute - but this all could've been much easier."

Ulemper: "No food for those in back seats. Checked bag weight too tight given the flight was to and from a cold place requiring more clothes."
Fordeler: "Went to help desk in Stockholm on arrival to change seats. Earlier flight with better seats at no additional charge was offered and taken. Easy boarding and nice short hop to Oslo."
Fordeler: "Just everything. On time, good service, relaxing flight. What else...?"
Ulemper: "Cattle call boarding in a culture where standing in que is unheard of."
Fordeler: "Setene er behagelige, og selv i SAS Go er det mulig å legge setene lenger ned enn jeg er vant til hos en del andre flyselskaper i samme seteklasse."
Ulemper: "Det er ikke mulig å bestille spesialmåltid samtidig med billettene, man må ringe. Dette virker unødvendig tungvint, spesielt med tanke på at det var ekstra lang ventetid hos kundeservice i den aktuelle perioden. Heldigvis var det mulig å få hjelp via Facebook, men det er visst ikke vanlig."
Ulemper: "When I checked in I was told I had no bag allowance and had to pay 70 euro to check my bag. I feel like this was very sketchy on kyaak's part since it must have been on the fine print. I will be more cautious next time. Sas was otherwise fine."
Ulemper: "Due to a train mix-up, I arrived at the Frankfurt airport with only 53 minutes to get through security and board. Lufthansa would not let me through the process, even though I immediately told them about the problem. They not only refused to let me board, but also refused to reschedule me. I had to buy a whole new round-trip ticket at more than double the price in order to meet my family for our once-in-a-lifetime reuinion in Norway, but also make my existing connection for the return flight. It cost me an additional 999 Euros cash in the middle of my vacation because my Kayak ticket was not refundable."
Ulemper: "Missed my flight due to weather east coast"

Ulemper: "Der var alt for litt mat å kjøpe ombord, tok slutt ... unødvendig irriterende på morgenfly."
Fordeler: "That the person with whom I would have shared seats, found one with their party - had all the space...by chance ! The people at the counters are nice."
Ulemper: "1) I had an empty bottle and asked for water for multiple medications (as I had sprained my foot) thinking the stewardess had a jug of water. She opened a bottle and poured a fifth . I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."

Ulemper: "Food terrible. Our seats in Plus were in bad condition, they move us that also were in bad condition, hey you are paying Plus to have good seats!"

Ulemper: "Geneva airport was a zoo! Oslo was very nice."
Fordeler: "Flight from Kirkenes to Oslo delayed, which meant the rest of the flights were unusable. New flights were booked in Oslo through Copenhagen, which only lengthened the original trip time by about 5 minutes."

Ulemper: "The crew at the check-in counter was inefficient and gruff. At the boarding gate, there was no one there and no announcements until after the time the plane was scheduled to depart."
Fordeler: "I liked nothing."
Ulemper: "The flight was cancelled 22 hours before take off. There was an email sent to notify me. No text message or phone call; has I not checked my email I would have shown up at the airport with no flight. I tried to call their customer service and was out in hold for over an hour with no resolution."

Ulemper: "Not particularly clean. Completely ignored all boarding procedure. Poor IFE options. Very cramped seats. Rip-off luggage fee structure."
Ulemper: "we had no interaction with the crew since we didn’t order any food during the flight"
Ulemper: "Everything! Our flight was changed from a the 6 hour direct flight I purchased 6 months ago to an 11 hour 2 planes journey from a totally different airport! We arrived 3.5 hours before our flight at JFK yet waited in ticket line for 2.5 hours only to be given WRONG boarding passes."
Ulemper: "Baggage fees were extortionary."

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."
Fordeler: "2 empty seats next to me, can’t beat that."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2hrs because of “technical difficulties.”"
Ulemper: "More movie choices. Food okay for the price."

Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"
Fordeler: "Crew was friendly but a little impatient at times but helpful. The head rest on the seat was good."
Ulemper: "The coach seats were narrow and not super comfortable, no room to store under seat. The food options were limited, not even water offered for free. The de boarding process and getting baggage was a mess, I didn’t get out of airport for two hours and very little updates from the airline"
Fordeler: "It’s bad — it’s really bad"
Ulemper: "Crew and stuff are rude and bad, these guys are not ready to operate internationally"
Ulemper: "The boarding staff at Oslo airport should not be the money maker for the company and not choose languages by face .. my one was pulled out because it was 1nch to tall the woman before me sane language nothing they charge me another fee"
Fordeler: "Disembarking from both front and back is nice and efficient. Wish more airlines did that."
Ulemper: "Both flights were delayed by more than an hour. You'd think a company called Norwegian would be ready for cold weather."
Ulemper: "Internett virket bare tidvis og ikke i begynnelsen"
Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"

Ulemper: "Delays, missed connecting flight"
Fordeler: "The attendandats in premium cabin were great"
Ulemper: "Multiple delays; even after boarding. Disembarking was a mess because everyone simply wanted off the plane. Delay resulted in an unexpected influx of travelers into immigration which was an additional delay. Premium seats may be ok for sitting and watching the limited entertainment selections but not designed for sleeping on an overnight flight. Upon landing water fell to the floor in the galley. Once on the ground no flight attendants bothered to dry it up; despite them all giggling when it happened. Seemed quite unprofessional. Can’t say I’d be inclined to book with Norwegian again. The price may be enticing; but you get what you pay for."

Ulemper: "My bag was lost, and no help available through Norwegian to find it. I just had a 1 day delay with them recently and will try to avoid this airline in the future."

Fordeler: "It was a low fare trip, so I did not expect a lot."
Ulemper: "Seat was far too cramped, the person in front if me reclined and mine did not recline all the way. The temperature was far too cold and you had to pay for a blanket, which is crazy. I know it’s low fare, but I don’t want to keep the blanket, I have no room. The food choices for purchase were not great. The crew were very nice."
Fordeler: "plane was nice, crew was only ok. but the baggage thing is totally unacceptable!"
Ulemper: "We booked a trip from Stockholm to NY. Got to the airport and the baggage fee was quite high, but i was ok paying it since i didn't prepay online- my mistake. BUT then i was told since the plane was stopping at Oslo we had to pay ANOTHER SET OF LUGGAGE FEES !!!! I said, no you must be mistaken, there is no way you can charge me for two trips just because your plane is making a stop! They insisted and rather than fight and get thrown out of the airport i am disputing with my credit card company, but it can't possibly be legal. $690.00 fees !"
Ulemper: "I missed the flight, because all flights from Denver to JFK were 6 hours delayed. I was not put on another flight, not reimbursed at all, not even treated considerately. WORST treatment EVER, in 40 years of world travel. TERRIBLE. I am so sad to see how air travel has degenerated. Very very sad."
Fordeler: "The flight was comfortable and the condition of the cabin very good. As we landed 1.5 hours late, the captain and crew asked people who didn’t have a transfer flight to remain seated while those of us needing to make it to our next leg were allowed to deboard first. That was thoughtful and helped me make my train with 10 minutes to spare!"
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 1.5 hours. When we finally boarded, there was no crowd control, just everyone trying to squeeze into 2 checkin lines at once. My partner and I were seated 15 rows apart, even though we bought our tickets together. I was seated in the very back row, were I could here the cabin crew in the kitchen, talking loudly and at times unprofessionally. No food or drinks unless you pay extra for it."
Fordeler: "Kanon bra flyvert.. veldig underholdene"
Fordeler: "Food was pretty good considering it’s airline food. Featured the headrest flaps for more comfort when you doze off. Decent movie and show choices. I like the way you can order snacks, drinks or even duty free items on the display and have them quickly."
Ulemper: "Not very quick in picking up the trash. Tray tables too low."
Fordeler: "God plass, gode seter og hyggelig service."
Ulemper: "Middag var kun 1 av tre alternativer igjen når de kom til nest bakerste seteraden. Dette er litt for dårlig med tanke på premium bilettprisen. De løste det ved å hente mat fra lowfare cabinen og det etter at de hadde servert alle på premium."
Ulemper: "Everything. Can not even get a drink if water unless you pay for it."
Fordeler: "I flew from BNA ago JFK and when I landed i found out my flight was canceled. they just booked me on the next earliest flight and when I tried to ask about alternatives they were of no help. they also told me my accommodations in NYC for 2.5 days may not be covered."
Ulemper: "Rude customer service. No help with getting me to my destination earlier. Unclear on providing necessary information."
Fordeler: "Fact that I eventually made it home a day later"
Ulemper: "The airline company and if I can avoid it in the future, I will not take this airline again!"
