People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

Announcements were not loud enough. I didn't hear anything due to the talking passengers around me."

Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordeler: "We were in an empty Plus cabin at front. Coming from Miami, the hot towel service would have been nice. I blinked and missed the service. They will quickly skip you if they can. Food weird. Salmon in a box with no bread or rice or anything and a strange savory muffin. Ate neither. No entertainment."

Ulemper: "I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."
Ulemper: "flight was delay for 30 mins. then another 30 mins because there are 15 passenger that miss their flight due to delay or there is not enough flight to transport them to Longyearbyen the next day. We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"

Ulemper: "The seats were to close together. I am not one to get claustrophobia but 5 hours in I felt it and I nearly bolted off the plane after the 10+ hour flight. UGH. Shoulder to shoulder, knees touching the seat in front of you, and only a few inches to recline. UGH. We tried to upgrade when we arrived at Oslo and again in Stockholm but the personnel at both stations were rude and not helpful. UGH."

Ulemper: "It was connected flight and was delayed had to run through the entire airport with no chance to buy a butltle of water. I'm over 60 years old and this was horrible. The flight and crew were excellent."

Ulemper: "The check in process lacked. I unexpectedly had to check my bag, they charged me 70 Euro ($85) which required I go to two separate counters. One to check the bag and a second (upstairs) to pay. Both attendants lacked a sense of urgency. In fact, they acted like it was their job to go as slowly as possible. Even after I mentioned I was starting to feel stressed about the time. I overheard other attendants complaining about customers who check in late and expect them to move more quickly. I found their apathy offensive. To add insult to injury, they lost my bags. Having paid $85, which I think is outrageously and obscenely expensive, I'd at least expect my bag to be well taken care of. Sadly, it wasn't. The lost luggage counter was also apathetic, though I realize they are not LOT/Luftansa."
Fordeler: "Had been provided free taxi from and to airport on departure day. Free hotel with 3 meals. But still waisted 3 days"
Ulemper: "All 160 passengers where rescheduled only in 3 days for a replacement flight"
Ulemper: "I used LOT Airlines for the very first time to travel to Riga, Latvia. The problems started at the LOT check in counter at O'Hare International terminal. I packed my weeks worth of belongings into a 21" carry on bag expressly so I wouldn't have lost baggage issues. The customer service person forced me to check my bag because it was 3 kilograms overweight even though it was the correct size for carry on. As you can probably guess the bag was lost in the transfer in Warsaw, Poland. After filing a lost baggage claim at Riga, Latvia airport I never heard a word of support, communication, or even an apology from customer service at LOT airlines. I called them several times and their tracking system could not locate the bag during the entire week I was in Latvia. Now I am home in the states and have received an email from LOT Airlines stating that my bag is now at the airport in Riga, Latvia and to contact them for shipping and reimbursement for any costs. LOT is a TERRIBLE AIRLINE! Atay Away!"

Fordeler: "I've had two LOT flights and both have been very pleasant. Language was my biggest worry but almost everyone speaks English to a degree. The seats had more room than most domestic American economy flights...very good."

Ulemper: "They didn't start boarding until 5 minutes before take off and this was just onto the bus that would take us to the airplane. There was no communication why they were running so far behind. Once we landed in Warsaw, we sat on the plane for around 20 minutes waiting for them to bring the bus to pick us up and remove our luggage from underneath. I had a connecting flight I would have missed if it wasn't delayed. They also had the door open while waiting and the heat and humidity was pretty stifling with everyone already standing up waiting to disembark."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed an hour. The crew in the Kiev airport wouldn't allow check-ins for a long period of time. Many people stood in a long line for at least an hour with no information about why they couldn't check in. When we did check in, they couldn't print my wife's boarding pass for the next flight and told us that we would have to print it at the gate. We found out in Poland that she was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With the flight delay and lack of information, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration."
Fordeler: "The crew has always been extremely friendly and accommodating"

Fordeler: "I liked that I had an open seat beside me, but it was taken by someone else who didnt like their seat almost immediately."
Ulemper: "Stewardesses pretended I was not there. Seats were minute. My video/movie player did not work (the only one not working on the plane so movies were out). Had people with way too much baggage next to me. Overall flight was terrible, although my flight home with LOT was very good."

Fordeler: "I took an international flight so we were on the new Dreamliner planes and they were very nice. The windows were huge and had a way of dimming so that it was dark in the plane without having to shut them completely. The seat spaces were fairly small but overall it was a very updated plane. I am a very picky eater but 3 of my 4 meals were delicious!! They mostly serve pasta with some sort of meat but I noticed that myself and I were licking our plates clean!"
Ulemper: "It was VERY obvious that the people that work for this company REALLY hate their jobs. When I checked in they were rude and threatened to take my computer because they told me I couldn't bring it into the US. When I got back home to customs they laughed and told me that that isn't true at all. In the flights the stewards and stewardess' never smiled, they hardly made eye contact and just seemed to absolutely hate life. At one point I was so hungry so I asked to purchase some pringles because that was something that advertised on the loud speaker. When I asked the flight attendant she made the biggest deal about it, laughed in my face and basically told me no. To be honest I am not sure if this sort of a attitude is something that is part of a different culture but I feel that if people are in the service industry that they should at least smile and respond with, "you're welcome" when someone says, "thank you". I will 100% not take this airline again due to the very rude people one board and horrible customer service."

Fordeler: "Their online boarding passes failed to work at TSA. Instead of apologizing for the issue, they refused to give us paper passes so we missed the flight."

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."
Fordeler: "Ganske god mat."
Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"
Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"
Ulemper: "Internett virket bare tidvis og ikke i begynnelsen"
Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"

Ulemper: "While flying from Oslo to Reykjavik for a backpacking trip, my backpack (with my tent, cooking equipment, clothes, and food in it) was lost. As a result, I was forced to spend several nights in Reykjavik waiting for my backpack to arrive. Norwegian Air had horrible customer service when I called to inquire about my bag. They did not coordinate well and were slow to track down our bags. After they did find our bags and rerouted them to Reykjavik, they missed their flight AGAIN! What is more, they refused to guarantee any compensation. Hence, I had to pay for clothes, food, and lodging without assurance of reimbursement. I will never fly Norwegian Air again."
Fordeler: "planes are brand new and for the price (under $500.00) from Stockholm to NY it's a steal - but...…."
Ulemper: "same point !We booked a trip from Stockholm to NY. Got to the airport and the baggage fee was quite high, but i was ok paying it since i didn't prepay online- my mistake. BUT then i was told since the plane was stopping at Oslo we had to pay ANOTHER SET OF LUGGAGE FEES !!!! I said, no you must be mistaken, there is no way you can charge me for two trips just because your plane is making a stop! They insisted and rather than fight and get thrown out of the airport i am disputing with my credit card company, but it can't possibly be legal. $690.00 fees !"

Ulemper: "Snacks and drinks all cost extra, even water."
Ulemper: "They lost our bags in the transfer and did not even offer water on the flight!"

Fordeler: "This was my first time flying with Norwegian, but I could not have been happier with their service. Not only were all of the flight attendants courteous and charming, but the look of the planes themselves, the lighting, the entertainment, meal, the whole experience was just really classy and fun to be a part of. As a low-rate airline, I was not expecting nearly the quality of service that I received. It was an incredibly welcome surprise, and I definitely plan on flying with them again in the future."

Ulemper: "Departure delayed nearly an hour, for a flight that is only one hour long. No compensation for delay (such as a free snack). Disorganized boarding - might be better to organize by seat-row numbers"
Fordeler: "The plane and plane ride."
Ulemper: "I understand there is construction but your NY terminal is dirty, uncomfortable, no modern conveniences nor decent restaurants. And boarding was a cluster duck."
Fordeler: "Norwegian is an awesome airline."
Ulemper: "Both Athens and JFK were horribly prepared for our flight. We were delayed 90 min departure due to the irresponsible extra screening by the Athens security staff. Then, when we got to JFK, we sat on the tarmac an extra 45 min because the gate wasn't ready for us."
Fordeler: "The entertainment was good and the staff was friendly. The captain was communicative and gave us frequent updates on why it took so long to take off/leave the gate. I'd fly Norwegian again."
Ulemper: "We were on the airplane at the gate for well over an hour waiting for "mandatory screenings" of passengers to take place. It was long and uncomfortable. While this was not the airline's fault, it would have been nice to have had the in-flight entertainment activated or beverages offered while we waited."
Fordeler: "Decent leg room, comfortable cabin pressure. Very efficient boarding procedures."
Ulemper: "While certain individual crew members were friendly, the lot as a whole seemed to have some internal conflicts with communication and organization. Additionally, the frequency of announcements was disruptive. They could be more efficient with timing and delivery of information shared with passengers. The proximity of the bathrooms was convenient but they need better deodorizers in there -- it was a little stinky during the 2nd half of the trip."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed around 2 hours. We were all stuffed in a small waiting room, then kicked out to have everyone go through a security check again with no explanation. The entertainment and food on the plane was not great at all. Probably wouldn't fly with Norwegian again unless I was on a serious budget."
Fordeler: "Overhead bins for luggage are large and easy to access. Staff was mostly helpful. TV in headrest."
Ulemper: "Small seats. Low on board luggage weight limits. Flight was delayed and boarding took a LONG time- not organized properly. Poor movie & TV show selection for an 8 hour international flight."
Ulemper: "Boarding was over three hours late. Ground crew was not forthcoming with information. Packed us into a small waiting lounge and then cleared the lounge. The ground crew looked out-of-control of the situation."

Fordeler: "The plane was clean and there was a lot of space for luggage. At baggage claim the bags came quickly."
Ulemper: "The crew seemed like it was their first day on the job. I understand they were probably trying to provide quick service, but they were running around chaotically and were not very friendly. They seemed cold. Also on a long flight charging for water seems ridiculous."
Fordeler: "Dreamliner was good."
Ulemper: "I did not like food service.I have some food restrictions.There were no kosher or halal options.Anyway, I was not expecting that but I wanted to get a cup of soda but the crew said if you don't get the food you can't have the soda so I had to buy it. This is stupid. I did not like luggage restrictions they allowed me only 10 kg if it is more than 10 you have to pay another hundred dollars. If I find another direct flight I'll try it."
Ulemper: "Poor customer service."
Ulemper: "Didn't make it. Had to stay in hotel fly to London wait 4 hours then fly to Los angeles"
Fordeler: "The new plane, clean, on time"
Ulemper: "I asked for a refill of a glass of wine and it was denied. I found that very stingy. The flight from Oslo to Fort Lauderdale was packed with kids and the flight attendants had no control over them, running around, disturbing everybody and they just wouldn't stop. Very annoying."
