I could not able to travel because of the restrictions from srilanka to india, no notification was given to me about that. Then i changed my ticket to get there.

Fordeler: "The crew was attentive and polite. The flights were on time, and the entertainment options were good. The Doha airport is quite nice, with many eating and retail options. although everything is very expensive, even by airport standards."
Ulemper: "My wife and I personally don't mind a selection that leans heavily toward Indian food, but I imagine others will not. The main courses were mediocre and the "sandwich" offered between meals on the 13+ hour flight was cold, soggy and inedible. The seats on our A350 were hard and not very comfortable, and the recline function was difficult to operate. Security at the Doha airport was confusing. We had to go through 3 separate checkpoints for our transfer, each with different rules and procedures. The final check at our departure gate was the worst, with impatient officials giving hurried instructions in heavily-accented English, and scolding if passengers didn't understand. I was sent back through a second time to remove my camera from the bag (and to be scolded by the agent), and was patted down a second time coming back through the x-ray, which had green-lighted me both times. It made me wonder if this was a reaction to the extra scrutiny that Arab passengers receive from our airport security in the USA."
Fordeler: "The plane was relatively new, the original departure time was also slightly delayed, but overall it wasn’t that bad."
Ulemper: "The hot food has some room for improvement, although it tasted good, there was hardly any vegetables in the chicken dish."
Fordeler: "US airlines should model Qatar. New plans with exceeding long courtious staff who are happy to make your flight as comfortable and pleasant as possible."
Ulemper: "The food was actually very good, nothing was an extra charge and the flight attendants were wonderful. US airlines should really do a better job!"

Ulemper: "I was annoyed that I could not put my carry on items in the bin above my seat. I was in front of the bulkhead so there was no other place to store my items except the overhead bin and the flight attendant took the space in my bin for some baby items she thought she might need for another passenger. I had to store my personal items away from my seat."
Fordeler: "Doha airport is easy to move through; They put me in an exit row behind a bulkhead has plenty of legroom."
Ulemper: "Reading light wasn't aimed properly, and there was nowhere to put anything because of it being an exit row behind a bulkhead. That meant, that I had to hold anything I wanted during take-off, and landing, and the entertainment system had to be stowed during those times as well, so I couldn't even listen to music as the only controls were the touchscreen."
Fordeler: "Being able to ear what you want and when you want it made my flight so much more enjoyable. You can ask for anything on the menu and the flight attendants are so attentive."
Ulemper: "Boarding in Qatar was a bit disorganised."

Fordeler: "The flight service was great. We had a slight delay on the way back to Doha from Heathrow but they made up for it by getting us through security faster so I didn't miss my flight to Tokyo. Overall the timing was excellent and I got home without having to fork out any extra money."

Ulemper: "AC was not turned on until flight was up in air. That means for 30 minutes passengers were sweating sitting in a suffocating cabin. Crew refused to give Green Tea, saying only available in business class Inflight screen size was very small ...5-6 inches only"

Ulemper: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

Ulemper: "The onky bad thing was luggage collection. Belt 6 tucked away. The luggage was so quick coming off that there was no-one to collect it . The belt was soon full and no.more luggage could enter the belt until the luggage on the belt was claimed"
Ulemper: "To my shock, my boarding pass while scanning to enter the aircraft was rejected with wild flashing red lights saying my trip was cancelled. Someone else was given my emergency row seat, booked and confirmed 24 hours ahead. It was a full flight but I got a middle seat and continued my long journey home from Kenya"
Ulemper: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

Fordeler: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

There is not a chance that I will ever again book an international flight on Swiss. I hope you share this with the airline."

Ulemper: "Cabin is old and needs updating. For the cost of the ticket, I expected better entertainment, more room, and better food."

Ulemper: "experience at the Zurich airport was not good. They checked our passports 3 times before we got to our gate. Swiss airlines should account for these things when they give options for the connections. we had about and hour and half layover and did not even have time to have coffee or anything before a 9+ hour flight. We just ran from one flight to another and barely made to our flight.."
Fordeler: "Again very friendly and accommodating crew. By the time we took off and had a snack we landed quickly. Smooth landing and takeoff. Pleasant trip."

Ulemper: "Movie selection not that great! Also the touch screens were taking for ever to process the comments. I would click play and it would rewind or next and nothing would happen. A330-300 is a new plane and I was just expecting better entertainment system."

Fordeler: "Passengers completely ignored the commands of the crew and crew was unable to take control of the crowd (passengers refused to follow crew's multiple demands to sit down during the high turbulence, finally crew gave up to force passengers to take a sit). Several times, standing passengers fell on the sitting ines. When at the end of the flight, the issue was pointed out to the captain and supervising flight attendant, both became aggressively defensive to the point of being rude."
Fordeler: "Staff was polite. Offering water once in a while was nice. Seat was comfortable."
Ulemper: "The promotional video for Swiss Air was way too long. Should have a way to bypass it. I understand being forced to watch the safety video but the promotional video is annoying."
Ulemper: "Don't like to wait for no one 30 min inside airplane"
Fordeler: "The flight attendants were perfect and very professional. I had a toothache on both flights back and forth. And on both flights, the crew members were always keeping an eye on me. Thanks so much. And also the pilots did an amazing job on making the flight as smooth as possible, love the 777! Thank you Swiss. I'm flying again to Athens this summer, I'm going with Swiss :)"

Ulemper: "Breakfast was a strawberry yogurt, orange juice and a croissant. Sugar free options ie. Eggs, rye or whole grain bread are a few examples of sugar free breakfast items that could be provided."

Fordeler: "The ground and aircraft staff are very professional, friendly and helpful."
Ulemper: "The aircraft was old, with subpar AC. We would either get freezing or hot and stuffy air. The seats were quite uncomfortable, worse than on recent trips with other airlines (Air Canada, United, Air France). Neither of our entertainment systems worked, despite the best efforts from the crew to reset them. Finally, the food was very disappointing for a European airline."

Ulemper: "Flight attendant spilled hot tea on me and he didn't help me out. The other flight atttendant assisted to my burns. I have 2ond degree burns on my arm from this incident."

Ulemper: "Economy seating very cramped. Cramped seat conditions, inability of video screen to articulate sufficiently to allow seeing the picture when the seat ahead was reclined."
Fordeler: "Decent food, for airline food. I was not expecting anythoing for the 3 hour flight,. Included beer/wine/spirits helps a lot."
Ulemper: "It's still a cattle car for coach travel. Boarding was hectic. Called all passengers at once, which resulted in a crowd pushing to get through the two checkpoints all at once."

Everything on time

Seems strange when there are so few flights because of corona that everyone is stuffed into a bus to drive out to the plane for boarding instead of using the airbridge. Not sure what the reason for that was. No problem with using the airbridge on arrival. The flight itself was otherwise fine.

Ulemper: "Business class seat was comfortable, though a bit too narrow; when seat was horizontal my arm was constantly falling in the aisle."

Ulemper: "I tried to reschedule due to a death in the family and due to the "small print" this was not possible. Then when I did travel, it turned out I didn't have the right for a piece luggage (again "small print"). I paid for the extra piece and I was double-charged (same amount withdrawn twice). Now I have opened a complained with Austrian and they haven't responded so far."
Fordeler: "The check in crew were great. They checked my overweight carry on with no problem for free Free alcohol"

Ulemper: "Firstly . The crew were rude ! They did not even response when were calling them from the seat . The only way to talk to them is to find them at the end of the plane ( where they been chating with each other ) Secondly . The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

Ulemper: "Limited meal choices (I flew business class). It seems Austrian puts more emphasis on the Trans-Atlantic flights and less on short hauls."
Fordeler: "The economy seats had as much leg room as the Premium Economy seats on Luthansa, so the comfort over a long flight was better than I expected."
Ulemper: "The charge for checking a 2nd bag was $100 which I thought was much too high. Food was average and not enough given that we were on the plane for over 10 hours."

Fordeler: "After flight to Vienna was cancelled, we were put on a flight to Frankfurt instead."
Ulemper: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."
Fordeler: "The plane was comfortable and clean. Internet was offered"
Ulemper: "The Internet didn't work. Although boarding was good the person making the announcements needs to know she should speak up."
Fordeler: "My flight was lovely. I loved the professionalism & politeness of the crew. I also loved the food - I really appreciated the fact that I could order a gluten free vegetarian meal for this flight."

Fordeler: "6 hours delay, first deplaning due to mechanical failure, 2nd deplaning due to electrical storm. Missed my connection to Asia requiring total new bookings and expense. Never flying AA again."

Fordeler: "This isn't really the flight, but see below for lack of personnel at Vienna airport to help locate gates after our flight arrived very delayed. I was running with a cane, and getting very upset when an airport employee with a cart asked if he could help. He took me to the gate I thought was for my flight, but it was for a DIFFERENT flight to Zurich. He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."

Ulemper: "Flight cancelled, after delays... Then almost four more hours to get rescheduled in a different flight the next day and taken to a local hotel!"

Ulemper: "Not too many choices for entertainment, a lot of Asian movies. Food was OK"

Ulemper: "Initial flight was late taking off for no reason except they scheduled too many incoming flights. Made my second flight but my bag did not and had to wait over a day for it while missing a day of work."
Fordeler: "I was pleased by the comfort of the seats, the staff on board and the flight itself. The flight actually did not seem at all like 9 hours. And it arrived exactly on time."
Ulemper: "The crew at the airport before boarding was a little impolite. As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."
Fordeler: "The Crew was perfekt The Wheelchaire Service was also perfekt Food tasted good"
Ulemper: "The only trouble was 1:15 h delay ,but this depended on the weathersituation how I believe!"
Ulemper: "Crew was not friendly. Attended more to German speaking passengers and were out right rude to those who spoke no German and little English"

Ulemper: "Connecting flight on United. Horrible experience Chicago to Vegas.seats are small, feeling of claustiphobia, nothing free on entertainment. Only interested in adding to price of ticket. Very warm A/c didn't work well. Totally bad experience on United. Never want to fly on them again"
Fordeler: "The service was fine, although I suggest that Austrian Airlines will consult with someone who joj is to train the staff to be more efficient."
Ulemper: "The food was bad."
Fordeler: "Salzburg airport connection first leg flight"

It was NOT possible to watch a movie and hear the sound too! I gave up! Not a great offering for the extra dollars..."
Ulemper: "So many things! Starting with the way assistance in the airport is offered to travellers with mobility issues! This is an important issue that needs to be revisited and changes for better service to be made!"
Fordeler: "Comfortable seat, friendly crew. Crew were conscious of recycling which I like a lot as there is so much waste on flight. Anything we can do to reduce waste is very welcome."
Ulemper: "Food wasn't very appetizing, pasta didn't have much flavor and I don't eat red meat so the other choice wasn't an option for me."

Even if they did not have a vegetarian option, they don't need to be rude!! Boarding was ridiculous. we were supposed to form a line and wait. Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Ulemper: "he had no choice but to look at the closed door of his flight, and wait an additional 7 hours and they didn't even give him a voucher for food. I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Fordeler: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."
Ulemper: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

I love love this airline. The crew was awesome; so friendly, professional, and playful. The seats were comfy & very clean. Great entertainment selection and the Complimentary wine was most appreciated! 3 thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Very small plane, not much legroom. No organisation to boarding and no in-flight snacks provided as standard apart from water/juice.

Ulemper: "Ran out of food options from SFO to HEL. I was sitting towards the end of the plane ... and no more chicken so got stuck with the pork and mashed potatoes options. Need more coffee aboard the flight. ANA cleans the bathroom periodically, and wouldn't be bad to do the same on long flights. The arm rest between seats don't go all the way up, only half way. If the person in front of you is asleep during meal service, the FA (flight attendant) won't lift the seat and it may be a very uncomfortable meal experience. Other airlines will have the FA do it themselves. ...and you need to be careful about staying awake to get food (otherwise you can get forgotten)."

Ulemper: "The food was not good although plentiful The seats were not made for a long-haul flight We received no overnight bag (eye masks, ear plugs, toothbrush, etc.)"
Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."
Fordeler: "Entertainment options were fine. Crew was courteous. Boarding was fast. Flight was on time."
Ulemper: "Economy seats were more cramped than other international economy flights I have been on. My knees were against the seat in front of me the entire 9-hour flight. There were supposed to be 2 options for meal, but by the time I was served there was only one remaining. The meal itself was passing."
Ulemper: "Flight was late, I had to spend my own money to go to another airport, because I was late to my flight, so they had to re-book it. Awfull experience. A lot of stress"
Fordeler: "Not having someone sitting next to me, comfortable lie flat beds albeit a bit narrow. Good food when you wanted it, big screen and ok movies, spotless toilets"

Fordeler: "I liked most of service except seats space with economy . it was impressive to see Scandinavians and Korean flight attendants cooperate each other . Both of them were gentle ,kind and nice !"
Ulemper: "The e ticket info didn't accord with the real ticket info such as gates so if you don't check out the bulletin board properly , you may wait in wrong gates but not that crucial. It's always about the airport problem with crowded passengers or in size not aeroplane. Everything is about time control . ICN is quite large in scale so I couldn't use duty free shop due to so many passengers and the spacious hallways even though I had 2hours . perhaps you gotta presume it as 3hours for enough time . so I had to throw out my lotion or moisturizer at ICN .pfff I wasted my money :p"
Fordeler: "Courtesy of staff was top notch"
Ulemper: "Older plane. Entertainment system very dated poor screen quality."
Fordeler: "I loved the service. The flight attendants were attentive and courteous. They walked through the cabin periodically to offer water in the 6 hours or so between meal services, and also had self-service drinks and snacks in the galley during that time. Flight attendants asked passengers to put their seats forward during meal times, which very few airlines do. It was the same level of service I have come to expect from the Asian carriers that I usually fly (ANA, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore). The meals were fine, and so was the entertainment. There was a decent choice of movies."
Ulemper: "The economy seats were narrow and cramped on the A340. I was in the first row of economy that wasn't premium economy. Even though the person in front of me had loads more legroom than me, he had his seat all the way back for almost the entire flight and hit me in the head while I was reaching for my bag under the seat in front of me. In order to get to anything in my bag, I had to put my head into the aisle because there wasn't enough room to bend down. Because of the angle of the seats, it was nearly impossible to get into and out of the row (and I was on the aisle)."

Fordeler: "Usually a 7 hours flight is a torture for me, but with their outstanding service I didn't notice how time flew by.The flight attendants were providing us with all necessary information about next connections."
Fordeler: "The pilot was briefing us about everything There werent much passengers so we were seated in a way where we had space. Great entertainment choices Great food"

Ulemper: "The check in was terrible, self checking was not working and not saving time at all, crew at the airport was clearly exceeded and it was very hard to get any answer. I had to be very insistent to be able to check in 5 min before closing and was not the only one in this case."
