The hotel is so convenient for the Metro or walking to all the attractions of Paris. The hotel itself is a short walk from La Motte-Picquet station. The rooms are big and air-conditioned with large comfortable beds and L'Occitane bath products. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We walked all over Paris from here. There are many good restaurants just a step away from the hotel and you feel like you are living amongst the local Parisians of all ages and stages of life. This will be where we stay when coming to Paris in the future. The sink didn't have a plug that worked - a problem for contact lens wearers.
Staff & location Rooms are small Very noisy drilling works in other rooms Lobby furniture not clean
I travelled to Paris with 3 friends and was delighted upon arrival in my apartment to discover that we had a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was ample for our needs, allowing us the option to eat in and to make our own dinner if we wished. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. We could not have asked for anything more. The hotel is pretty central to all the main tourist attractions and although the metro is right outside the hotel we did alot of sightseeing on foot. We would definitely return to this hotel again for a city break.
easy access to public transportation, grocery, restaurants.quiet place to rest after a tour of the city.nice view of eiffel tower. i have to fix the second bed on our first night because the wood that support the mattres is not installed and missing one board ,managed to put the loose board.
Kindness of the staff, the sweetest atmosphere inside the hotel nothing at all!!!
That it was close to the main street The twin room was too small for two and the beds uncomfortably small;the wash room was equally uncomfortably small and had no provisions for water splashing onto the floor. The heaters seemed not to be working well.
Top end of my budget for the trip but it did not disapoint.
They let us check in early and thats it. I had seen the comments about how thin the walls in the hotel are but thought I could cope with it, I was wrong. I could hear every converstaion from the adjoining two rooms and the guests in the next room even had the cheek to knock the walls and ask us to be quiet, no privacy at all. The staff are also very rude. I went down to ask for an iron and was told by the lady on reception that she was on her break and to come back in 15 mins. When i came back down they told me i had to go down to the cleaners quarters (which are horrible) to iron my shirt. The next night i asked again to iron another shirt, when i went down to reception they said i couldnt do it until the cleaner came back at 6:30am the next morning, absolutely useless hotel.
The staff were very friendly, and the room was very comfortable and clean, and of reasonable proportions for paris.
Excellent location. Could not check in as room was not ready as per confirmed hotel check in time. Room size to be indicated on the web site as photographs create a different perception - room and bathroom very small.
