Atendimento da recepção e concierge. Housekeepers should make less noise and be more gentle when closing the room doors. They should start working after nine o´clock and attend the customers requirements more acurately. Matress is too softy and unconfotable and unable to provide a good sleeping.

The rooms are great as are the staff.
The location is just fantastic - the hotel is located in 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, with nice shops and restaurants all around! Hotel staff is nice. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety, a bit expensive though (31 euros per person, free for kids). Free internet in room (luxury room). Variety of tv channels was very poor.
Overal was good. Room service selection was limited in choices. I Bar only have French Menue and no English. No English Channel on TV only CNN. Mentioned above
airconditioning was not very effective despite my changing the room.
The Sofitel Hotel is well located and within walking distance of the Champ Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe as well as the Charles De Gaulle Metro. This allows for good connectivitey. There are also some good inexpensive eateries nearby. We mentioned that we were coming on the Honeymoon in our notes but we were treated as if I was the Sole occupier of the room. The Honeymoon touch was missing a bit especially since we read about another review who were treated specially for theri honeymoon.
Severly understaffed and any service requested takes quite a while. Rooms were not cleaned on on time, until we requested specifically to clean them in the evening. Turndown service was done on 1 day of 4. Used glasses from the minibar were not replaced for 3 days. Waited 1 hour for check-in after arriving at 4pm on a Friday. etc.
Hotel was under construction (and for quite some time apparently) so I'll spare you with the details of what that means when you are trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. Staff responded poorly to this situation that was not communicated ahead. Very dissapointing. One last thing, te hotel seems to be weel located because few hundred meters from champs Elysee but it is quite a dead area at night.
Great location, great hotel, great staff! They upgraded us to an awesome room with a spectacular view for free the attendant was very nice and helpful.
This is a very nice hotel at a distinctive location location in Paris. The staff are so helpful, I was helped by a professional concierge team who spoke excellent English and know Paris attractions very well. The staff was polite, food was good, and the facilities are all clean and up to date.
we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the lovely room.the location was outstanding and staff very helpfull our shower screen was off the rollers but it didn't cause us any grief
The proximity to all the central areas of Paris and also it was very quite and a very beautiful hotel. The breakfast was very expensive and not worth the money.

Hotel very near Chapms Eleysee, shops and restaurants. Prices in bar very very expensive. Breakfast very expensive at 28 euro each.Had breakfast outside hotel at 1/4 of the price.

Courteous, professional staff. Central location.Comfortable plush rooms. No tea/coffee making facilities or indeed mini-bar in the room which is surprising giving the standard of the hotel.

the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, the employees were very nice and proffisional, and the location was just excellent as Vernet St. was located by champs elysee and george VI road. Hotel Lobby was small and the internet connection was very low.
Location was approperiate for my business meetings around the city. Poor value for money. Absolutely not a 4 star Paris standards. Extremely small room. Unheated bathroom. Aminities were not regularly refreshed. Decor of reception and public areas is basic and rundown.
The location is excellent as it is behind Champs Elysees but yet very quiet. The staff, especially the concierge is very helpful and they all speak excellent English. The walls between the rooms are a little thin. I could hear footsteps and voices from the other room when it was occupied.
I booked this hotel because it was listed on the leading small hotels of the world. This recommendation has not failed me. I have traveled to paris and the rest of europe to know that the standards are different than four plus hotels in the usa. The hotel vernet did have good sized rooms and our room had a balcony which is great. The bedding was excellent. The staff was excellent, including front desk personel, the concierge was fabulous, as well as the bellman, bartenders, and wait staff in the dining room. All the employees addressed me by name after the first day. That shows how much they put themselves out. Lights in the bathroom were not adequate for shaving or applying makeup. Pillows were foam which we don't like. Should be feather pillows.
Friendly and helpful staff and nice room WIFI at our room was a bit weak. Main elevator was not working and everyone had to use staff elevator instead, which is a bit small.
I find that the mark of an excellent hotel is when you look back at your trip and the hotel was a main character. The Peninsula Paris exceeded my expectations. L'Oiseau Blanc is a must-see (they have a plane over-looking the Seine and the Eiffel Tower). The "Dancing Leaves" art installation in the lobby is absolutely stunning. They have a neat app for kids with fun games. Most importantly, the staff is a class act. One of the only drawbacks was the lockerroom for the gym/spa. Each of the four showers did not have body wash nor soap (they had three bottles in each stall. One wss labeled "conditioner", the other was labelled "shampoo" and the third bottle was labeled "shampoo" and/or "hand lotion"). Also the hand-held shower in one of the stalls was broken. It was disappointing. The other drawback is that the check-in is actually not at the main entrance on Avenue Kleber. After our driver unloaded our baggage a valet attendant walked out from the long sidewalk from the hotel and said to put our bags back in the car and drive around the corner, to the less-prominent side entrance on Avenue Portugais, for check-in. We decided to walk with our suitcases around the corner and commented amongst ourselves that the Peninsula could have handled it differently (i.e. since the attendant was not at his post nor was there a sign he could have offered to have someone gather our suitcases; it was awkward).
The hotel was beautiful, spa terrific, and the indoor/outdoor aspect of the Lobby restaurant was lovely for enjoying a spate of mild fall weather. Service is top-notch. The rooms are functionally terrific - huge for Paris standards. Bathrooms are drool-worthy marble palaces. Concierge staff knowledgeable and super helpful. Unless you are strolling the Champs for luxury boutiques one can find in any large city or having business meetings in the western arrondissements, the location isn't great. This can be easily overcome with Uber or taxis, but I would have preferred a more central location like Ritz/Crillon (both closed for renovation), or Le Meurice (I'm supporting the boycott). The design of the bedrooms errs more on the Asian side of Asia-French fusion, while I would have preferred something more distinctively Parisian, but this is a very minor gripe. If I were traveling for business, the serenity/calmness would normally be a plus.
It is a very fine hotel, but ........ It was an unpleasant stay with loud construction adjacent to room 312 from 0630 am for about 11 hours/day. It was impossible to rest during the day. Euro 445 was an outrageous rate to charge for this room
perfect location, perfect service, perfect ambiente, 100 % clean unfortunatelly there are two construction sites to the left and to the right of the building - the works start at 6am, from 9am they start drilling, all the guests complain, we stayed for 3 nights and got one for free, the buildings will not be finished before 2012

All staff at hotel were very attentive, Hotel recently reopened after refurbishing, rooms large, clean and well equipped, pool was wonderful after being out the whole day walking. Hotel was well positioned for sightseeing.
Perfect, clean and big room (Large Deluxe Room). The hotel is only 2 y.o. Perfect location!!! Breakfast doesn't included. The pool is closed 12-16 August.

The hotel lies in a very good position. The rooms are quiet and spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. for that price I would have appreciated something more, like a welcome drink or a basket of fruit at our arrival. My idea of a relais chateau is that you pay a little more but you get a little more, like we had to leave very early in the morning and it was not possible to have a cup of coffee!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the staff first rate. However, we were celebrating my 60th with friends from England who were staying at the hotel due to our recommendation and the only issue was the fact that we paid approx Eoro 230 to 250 per night and our friends paid Euro 180 or 190 per night for the same room. Whilst I did not say anything at the time, It left a sour tast in my mouth and I was disappointed as I felt cheated. No complaints other than as noted above.
My room which was very well appointed and comfortable, had a wonderful view of the Arc du Triomphe. I shall certainly return there again. I have stayed there before despite its rather high price (€325) and have always felt welcome. The Pre du Carré (its restaurant) was not quite as impressive as last time but this was probably my fault as I may have chosen unwisely and there is no question as to the excellence and subtlety of the cuisine. As far as I am concerned I would recommend the hotel with some enthusiasm.
