location the classic room.
Nice room, comfy lobby, good location in tourist district. Very easy to access museums and beautiful old town Paris. Spa very small, concierge gave lousy restaurant recommendation (tourist trap). Great place to stay, wander outside district for food and more authentic Paris experience.
The best of staying at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg was the location, courteous service, the size and the quietness of the room. Although it was very charming, our two floor suite, it was difficult for us to tote our luggage and packages on the semi spiral staircase. The neighborhood was not very convenient in terms of neighborhood bakery, restaurants, pharmacies, or convenience stores. The hotel computer room was a sauna closet and with the prices we paid, free internet should be available hotel-wide.
the location is exellent very different from last years both for the level af rooms and for the services
Location reddiculous price of their continental breakfast of 30 Euro
service is good and the bathrrom is good.
The bed was absolutely amazing - lovely soft duvet and pillows Over priced bar in room. Internet 10 euros for 30 minutes
What I like best about the hotel is its location. It is situated in the middle of a great shopping area and is very convenient.
position room is small
location is perfect... rooms are very comfortable...
I was pleasantly surprised that such comfortable and business-friendly property at the heart of Paris existed. Aside from the rate, I think the hotel was excellent in all aspects for a person travelling on business who has a little spare time for some leisure. As I stated, I thought the rate was a bit on the high side given it's location.
The level of service of the Hilton Chain and its luxury
The room and comfort of the bed and friendliness of the staff could not get selection of movie channels and had no confirmation from the engineer sent to the room as to when it would be operational again.
Location great, friendly helpful staff, they had flowers, champagne and cake in room on arrival, beautiful touch.
Pleasant and helpfull staff ,good atmosphere in hotel The hotel has a lovely bar however at 14 euros for a beer you won't stay long
Not bad, quite expensive, especially when you factor in that you have to pay €21 extra per day per computer (we're two people with two laptops) for internet, plus quite a bit more for taxes and breakfast and parking. Ultimately our €475 room came to about €750 per night with all the extras. Room service food is outrageously expensive - €36 for breakfast - plus tax, gratuity, room service fee, all comes to about €55 and that's if you don't tip the guys either. And, watch the bill, they have habit of charging for extra items that should be included in your breakfast set. The staff were mostly efficient but cold or indifferent and the maid's service was either dumb or lazy or both. They'd always miss things or forget to clean our room or leave the breakfast tray in the room while cleaning everything else. I guess that's room service's job, not theirs?
central location in room tv very bad overall: choice of channels, image, etc air con would only heat and not cool-only way to sleep was to open window
Service was excellent, and the Purple Bar was Fantastic.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Refreshing to get this kind of service...
airconditioning was not very effective despite my changing the room.
The location is just fantastic - the hotel is located in 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, with nice shops and restaurants all around! Hotel staff is nice. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety, a bit expensive though (31 euros per person, free for kids). Free internet in room (luxury room). Variety of tv channels was very poor.
Overal was good. Room service selection was limited in choices. I Bar only have French Menue and no English. No English Channel on TV only CNN. Mentioned above
The rooms are great as are the staff.
Atendimento da recepção e concierge. Housekeepers should make less noise and be more gentle when closing the room doors. They should start working after nine o´clock and attend the customers requirements more acurately. Matress is too softy and unconfotable and unable to provide a good sleeping.
The Sofitel Hotel is well located and within walking distance of the Champ Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe as well as the Charles De Gaulle Metro. This allows for good connectivitey. There are also some good inexpensive eateries nearby. We mentioned that we were coming on the Honeymoon in our notes but we were treated as if I was the Sole occupier of the room. The Honeymoon touch was missing a bit especially since we read about another review who were treated specially for theri honeymoon.
Severly understaffed and any service requested takes quite a while. Rooms were not cleaned on on time, until we requested specifically to clean them in the evening. Turndown service was done on 1 day of 4. Used glasses from the minibar were not replaced for 3 days. Waited 1 hour for check-in after arriving at 4pm on a Friday. etc.
Hospitality of hoel staff At 29 euros per person, breakfast is quite expensive.
Location near city centre; hotel staff's smiling faces.
I liked most the hospitality, and nice attitude of staff.
Location Room service quick but astronomical prices for the quality of food. Bar staff incapable of making a descent cup of tea (got slightly coloured hot water). The hotel is badly in need of renovation.
The location, the room, the excellent service of the concierge who got us tickets on the same the day for a fully booked show.
luxury and the breakfast was exellent. no
actually this time nothing since room was not booked as requested(higher floor) out of two nights stay one complete day without hot water i am looking for compensation for the inconvinience caused since i have arrived at midnight on the first day of arrival and had to rush on the folloing day for shower before 10am as simply hot water will be cutted from 10 to 19.00 hrs?? the hotel require total renovation, being starwwod member i have asked for room upgrading with no success
The staff that was very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city. We upgrade the room to a much larger room. The price was a little too excessive for a regular room.
Location Not value for money
I like it
nothing. The hotel is very bad and very expensive it is fare away from the normal Marriot standart. I am negativly suprices. Over all the price is absolutely not corresponding with the quality of the rooms especially. I will never choose more that hotel
our money was stolen from our room when we were out for disney land!! we found this on the last day when we should check out. the hotel promised to invistegate and get back to us but as of now and despite of all remiders we didnt get any reply from thier side. our money was stolen from our room when we were out for disney land!! we found this on the last day when we should check out. the hotel promised to invistegate and get back to us but as of now and despite of all remiders we didnt get any reply from thier side.
Location of the hotel Overpriced
It was a great location, people were very polite..Would go back again On Saturday I rented a car for 4 hours and had a personal tour of Paris in a Mercedes Benz..Cost $370.00 Euros..Great!!!!On Tuesday I booked car to take me to the airport but did not ask the price as I trusted the people to be fair...When I checked out of the hotel they put the charge on my invoice 320.00 Euros for a 35 minute ride to the airport..I guess they didn't think I would notice..After haggling they lowered the price to 277.00 Euros which was still way too high..Be aware that as they were very nice if you let your guard down for a second these people will grab every pennie they can from your wallet!!!!!!
Reception & Concierge Staff were knowledgeable, helpful, & courteous Didn't give me good directions to their Garage when asked, as it's very difficult to find
very noesy the room is two levels which make very diffecult to move and less space nothing
The location is very good. Unfortunately there are a lot of management issues there. The front desk, the concierge and the stuff of the lobby bar are nothing to do with the efficiency expected from a five stars hotel stuff.
It was very convenient , the staff were very friendly.
Convenient location and nice room the lack of service
location room cleanliness and set_up
The balcony in our deluxe room was only rail with patio door access
Location - value for money. Rooms are not sound proof.
The location of the hotel was fantastic and the staff were very helpful
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a charming, comfortably elegant boutique hotel that delivers the parisian experience in spades. The service was exceptional and the location can't be beat. Very close to the Champs Elysee, wonderful restaurants and easy walking distance to two Metro stations. There is a wine store less than a block away on Rue Marbeuf heading towards the Champs that has a great selection and near that are a few cafes where you can pick up pre-packaged cheeses and other items that are great for the room or a picnic.
Good location They should be careful not to charge their clients when the amount was already debited when the reservation was made at hotel.com.
It was not a 4 star hotel, and so not good value
Location and size of the room. Breakfast was not up to standards. Baguette and croissants were from the previous day?
Great location, friendly staff, spacious room, internet working well. The bathroom was rather dated and the sink had a large crack that was badly sealed. This should be properly replaced in a 4* hotel. The first morning I received my breakfast on time. The second morning I did not receive it at all although I placed the form on my door well before midnight the previous evening.
freindly staff and location.
Very good and comfortable
They had the elevator not working for 2 days. I have to walk daily few times up and down. They said they would deduct two days of my stay. Could you please check and make the refund.
Very good location, excellent food in Restaurant Le W, nice personnel and good service
i didn't like this hotel i am still by shock from their services i cannot classify this hotel for the reason that it was terrible besides the location i have not no good word to say about this hotel
The staff was friendly. Other than that I did not have too much that I liked. The price of the food is outrageous. I (unfortunately) ordered food from room service and paid EUR 11 for a desert which was not bigger than my palm. Furthermore, they are charging for internet which is free in almost any other hotel in this start class.
location of this hotel is perfect
The location is amazing few steps from the main action of the Champs-Elysee. The staff of the hotel gives the hotel a plus point. The bath room design is messed up. and the price is too high.
Location is excellent , friendly staff , clean rooms No WiFi in the room and this a major drawback for the people who travel with ipad , WiFi was available only in the lobby
I was very impressed by the Warwick Champs Elysees. The room was almost 5-star level, and was very spacious. Service was impeccable. The buffet breakfast was excellent quality. TV had a great selection of stations from all over the world. The location cannot be beat. You are basically on the Champs Elysee in the most interesting stretch. On the negative side, the room keys were erratic and Internet in the business center was quite expensive. The biggest negative was that there was late night/early morning noise coming from an adjacent club Saturday night that was truly excessive for a second floor room.
The location is perfect for people who want to visit the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly ( grooms and concierge) The room was a little small and the shower was not working very well but the whole was very good.
situation in heart of champs elysee
Location and staff.
The Hotel is well situated in easy reach of the main attractions. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and have extremely comfortable beds.
Convenience of neighborhood. More english speaking staff. Particularly noisy street.
Location The room is not the exactly room showing on the Booking.com
Room size is ok and the breakfast. Friendly receptionist and cooperative. Bieng close to shopping streets is one big reason of my choice. No.
small room , not deluxe that i booked
the location the room that I had was extremely small. the toilet was only few centimeters far from the bed. I did not get any comfort because of the permanent noise coming from the floor upstairs.
Location Size of rooms and size of toilet in some rooms is very small..
Proximity to Cahmps Elysees Avenue. Good service and cleanliness. Small rooms and less options; e.g. they couldn't provide us with connecting rooms although the booking was done 6 weeks in advance and the above was mentioned during the booking and confirmed later over the phone with the hotel directly.
Friendly helpful staff. Price of the breakfast.
Fantastic breakfast but make sure its covered by room price.Very convenient for Metro and Champs Elysees None bur the odd lightbulb needed rplacing. Small points but there. Perhaps not the interest in spending money when refurb due.
The bed, super comfortable. 1. Bed is queen size bed, not as advertised king size, but as we had a 3 years old son, they provided a separate bed for free. 2. There was a redecoration work going on while we stayed, it was so noisy and really they didn't respect that people want quietness when they go to hotels.
Friendly, helpful staff who spoke ecellent english.Position of hotel for main tourest attractions
The location, wonderful! The size of the room
It was a quiet hotel. Helpfull and smiling staff.
The hotel is very centrally located with easy access to all forms of transport in Paris. It was within walking distance to a lot of major sightseeing spots in Paris. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and were a good size by Paris standards. There were renovation works going on in the hotel and we were woken early every weekday morning by the noise of hammers etc. We were not told about this which we should have been. Overall it was a very pleasent stay in the hotel. The noise of renovation works waking us up early in the morning and not being told that renovations were being carried out.
the staff is not good, not friendly, but location for shopping is perfect. the room is toooooo small! staff is not friendly
The service was very good and excellent location. The water took very long to get warm.
the indifference of the concierge staff
Everything was ok Maybe the breakfast, because usually our breakfast in all the hotels we go in Paris came with many kinds of cheese included, and this one no,you have to order separetely
The room was clean and they put us in room which has vew on the eiffel The breakfast was very poor and in very small room
Everything! The room, staff and location was excellent.
Hotel very near Chapms Eleysee, shops and restaurants. Prices in bar very very expensive. Breakfast very expensive at 28 euro each.Had breakfast outside hotel at 1/4 of the price.
Rooms too small, expected larger as per booking info
the fast service in the hotel was great , the location was excllent , the breakfast was bad no food varaities .
Hotel stuffs, and concierge were very kindly. Also, room and bath was very clean. Location was nice.
The proximity to all the central areas of Paris and also it was very quite and a very beautiful hotel. The breakfast was very expensive and not worth the money.
Our stay at the Hotel Balzac was wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and attended to our every need.Great location too!
This is a very nice hotel at a distinctive location location in Paris. The staff are so helpful, I was helped by a professional concierge team who spoke excellent English and know Paris attractions very well. The staff was polite, food was good, and the facilities are all clean and up to date.
we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the lovely room.the location was outstanding and staff very helpfull our shower screen was off the rollers but it didn't cause us any grief
Courteous, professional staff. Central location.Comfortable plush rooms. No tea/coffee making facilities or indeed mini-bar in the room which is surprising giving the standard of the hotel.
Comfort and quality
We arrived at about 8pm after a 11 hour flight to find that they overbooked the hotel and moved us to another hotel. The new hotel was nice enough but further away from the area than we wanted. The main reason most people book this hotel is the location, sadly we got didn't get to experience it.
The friendliness of the staff, the service and the centrality of the hotel. Thank you. It was a pity that the restaurant was closed.
Location was approperiate for my business meetings around the city. Poor value for money. Absolutely not a 4 star Paris standards. Extremely small room. Unheated bathroom. Aminities were not regularly refreshed. Decor of reception and public areas is basic and rundown.
location poor advice from concierge
I booked this hotel because it was listed on the leading small hotels of the world. This recommendation has not failed me. I have traveled to paris and the rest of europe to know that the standards are different than four plus hotels in the usa. The hotel vernet did have good sized rooms and our room had a balcony which is great. The bedding was excellent. The staff was excellent, including front desk personel, the concierge was fabulous, as well as the bellman, bartenders, and wait staff in the dining room. All the employees addressed me by name after the first day. That shows how much they put themselves out. Lights in the bathroom were not adequate for shaving or applying makeup. Pillows were foam which we don't like. Should be feather pillows.
The location is excellent as it is behind Champs Elysees but yet very quiet. The staff, especially the concierge is very helpful and they all speak excellent English. The walls between the rooms are a little thin. I could hear footsteps and voices from the other room when it was occupied.
from the moment we set foot in hotel there was nothing that the staff couldn't do for us..very helpful and courteous.really made my stay in Paris something to remember for a while..loved the personalized welcome letter .
the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, the employees were very nice and proffisional, and the location was just excellent as Vernet St. was located by champs elysee and george VI road. Hotel Lobby was small and the internet connection was very low.
Friendly and helpful staff and nice room WIFI at our room was a bit weak. Main elevator was not working and everyone had to use staff elevator instead, which is a bit small.
The staff was so friendly & the hotel location was ideal we had so much fun there I'm going to stay there next visit to paris
Small, quaint, quiet. The rooms need updating.
