Ulemper: "When I got to the check-in desk, I was told to get out of line and check in online. It wasn't a big deal, but it would have been good to know that it was necessary to do this so I didn't wait in line for a long time."

Fordeler: "My checked in bag did not arrive to HEL... Nedless to say I did check the bag tag was properly labeled RIX to HEL... oh well ... bad score for Baltic Air ... truly hope to see my bag in CGK when I arrived. Qatar airways pls come to the rescue."

Ulemper: "Long delay on first flight leg Staff provided little help with transfers, made us run through airport but then decided to close the next flight anyway without the transfer passengers Next flight offered was 9 hours later, only offer was a 10EUR meal voucher - ridiculous"

Fordeler: "the flight started at time. the attendant were fine. but i consider this flight not as a cheap flight. therefore, it should be possible, so early in the morning to offer a coffee at least."
Ulemper: "the experience on board should be improved, particularly when the flight is not different from regular airlines in terms of cost"

Fordeler: "Short flight"
Ulemper: "They charged me 35 dollars to check in and the reason I did not check in was because their other flight was running late and was not sure I will make to that flight. It took forever to get bags in Riga. In the empty flight the way they were seating people was crazy. I'm lifetime gold with American Airlines so I do fair share flying and can tell you it's not a good Airline."

Fordeler: "Nice new plane, on time."
Ulemper: "I pre-paid two checked bags (one each for my husband and myself). At check in we were told I had not done this and we had to go pay at another desk in the airport and come back to the check in line, 40 euros each. I showed the agent my paperwork that showed one bag each--it was not explicit on the paper whether this was the allowance or what I had paid--and she shrugged and said "Bad information. You have to pay now and you can take it up with the airline later." This will be a pain in the neck."

Ulemper: "The passage through Riga airport was terrifying. We arrived from St. Petersburg 6.35 and we left 7.20 to Paris (passengers in transit). We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Fordeler: "Pleasant crew, efficient boarding, flight was on time"
Ulemper: "No in-flight service"

Fordeler: "The plane was very clean and new. The crew who worked this flight were most friendly, professional and quite articulate in three languages including the captain. I highly recommend them."

Fordeler: "We went to Tallin by taxi 5 hour Air Baltic gave for voucher We are group of 8 frends"

Ulemper: "We were told upon check in that there was a charge to check in. I have never heard of such rubbish in 43 years of air travel. We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"

Ulemper: "They overbooked the flight and without any apologies on their behalf or without even informing me, they stop me and my fiance at the gate and just told is that we can not go to the flight I book and prepay 4 month at advance! The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"

Fordeler: "Everything was in time. Baggage I handked in the Riga airport and received it in Larnaca, no problems"

Ulemper: "We had to pay for 3 pieces of luggage, including my hand luggage. It came to about $150 dollars. When i booked the flight, it did not indicate anything about this extra change so be ware of this. The flight itself was quite inexpensive."

Ulemper: "I needed to cancel the flight a month before, and I got no refund"

Ulemper: "No food or entertainment."

Fordeler: "It got me from point A to point B."
Ulemper: "Seat was uncomfortable and next to an odorous toilet."

Fordeler: "Great airline with good airplanes and friendly staff. I was able to board the plane using my iPhone (e-ticket) from Copenhagen to Riga to Moscow."

Fordeler: "Food was good, flight was on time, boarding quick"

Ulemper: "We got disembarked from the aircraft for technical reasons, then they towed the same aircraft to the next gate and off we were. Delay almost two hours."

Ulemper: "My flight was delayed, and I missed my connecting flight. Next flight was 8 hours later. They did put me on this flight but didn't give any assistance to help me with another connecting flight because it was a different company. Voucher for a cup of coffee didn't cover all the troubles I had to go through."

Fordeler: "Quick bag drop and security line at Riga airport. Quick boarding with all the larger suitcases forcibly checked in at no charge. On time departure. Seats are comfortable enough for a short flight."
Ulemper: "(This is more of a comment on Kayak's review page than on the flight.) Haven't tried the food and there was no entertainment."

Ulemper: "No fee food or beverages at all. Attendants were very pleasant. Since this is an economy airline there reallly is no complaint. Our flight was full and boarding went smoothly."

Fordeler: "I was surprised by the professionalism of air Baltic employees. They dressed well."

Fordeler: "It was very easy to print boarding pass."
Ulemper: "The scanners did not accept my boarding pass. 40% of the passengers had to have boarding passes reprinted. It was chaotic."

Ulemper: "att det inte blev den tiden på flyg ifrån Gardemoen som jag bokade skulle flyga kl 9tiden men blev 15tiden"

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."

Fordeler: "Ganske god mat."
Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"

Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"

Fordeler: "brand new plane, simple check in, good food, nice entertainment, comfy seats"

Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"

Ulemper: "Middag var kun 1 av tre alternativer igjen når de kom til nest bakerste seteraden. Dette er litt for dårlig med tanke på premium bilettprisen. De løste det ved å hente mat fra lowfare cabinen og det etter at de hadde servert alle på premium."

Fordeler: "They waited so long before notifying passengers of the problem"
Ulemper: "No refreshments were provided to a whole passenger group while they waited in a line to find out what to do and at the end things were still not resolved"

Fordeler: "Really pleased they fly to Austin,Texas direct from London. They give a very cost effective alternative to BA. We upgraded to Premium for a reasonable fee. We liked the masses of leg room but on a night flight it is impossible for the middle/window passenger to escape as all seats are back with footrests extended. The cabin crew were very good. The plane was new and very clean. Roast beef salad for breakfast was tasty if unusual."
Ulemper: "Low cost premium is rare, and some cost cutting is understandable. That said....Premium seats weren’t that comfortable. I’m not too tall (6 feet) but they didn’t support my back well. There was no music entertainment so ensure you bring your own. There is plenty of power. The film selection is the same in both directions and pretty limited. Not a problem if you are sleeping though. Note: When upgraded you don’t seem to get all your prepaid extras refunded and we couldn’t choose our seats in Premium. There is no business lounge in Austin. (There was in Gatwick). The Norwegian app never linked to my reservation automatically. Some synchronisation work required there. Unlike other premium flights the drinks service was pretty limited. I didn’t enjoy eating out of a cardboard box, but the food was tasty."

Ulemper: "Very poor customer service as the Norwegian staff at JFK are not employees of the airline. They have very little care or concern for any travel issues that may occur. They are there to process passengers through. If you have any questions or need help you are passed to a very uninterested person that only can tell you to go on the Norwegian website for anything you need to do with your booking. The check-in and gate agents provide no help or even attempt to try serve the customer. They are just there to perform a task. Norwegian sold premium seats and then puts the customer in Economy in the back of the plane. A bit is a bait and switch. They should refund the difference in the fare to be fair."

Ulemper: "The delay was too much and it affected me badly"

Fordeler: "Staff was pleasantly helpful and friendly."
Ulemper: "Window seat was uncomfortable, and plane was hot,as if the a/c was turned off."

Fordeler: "Crew was polite. Entertainment system was acceptable."
Ulemper: "While Purchasing our tickets, it was not made clear that our bags and meals need to be paid for separately. Once we got on the plane, there was an option to bye food however most of the food was unavailable on our flight. The only thing we could purchase on a 7 hr flight was chips and corn nuts."

Fordeler: "Seats were comfortable"
Ulemper: "Staff were not friendly. I specifically heard one attendant who had swapped out a meal for a passenger say out loud "she didn't like her vegan meal so she wanted another one" in front of the passenger. I found that rude and accusing. I know I did not pay for food and I expected that. However, I think that's a bit austere for a 10 hour flight. Not even water offered for non-paying passengers. I don't know how you expect people to be healthy and ok on such a long flight without water.. Will not be flying Norwegian again."

Fordeler: "Quick flight. Fast boarding Good choice of entertainment"
Ulemper: "The plane was freezing With three people sitting together, it is definitely cramped. Staff aren’t as friendly."

Fordeler: "The flight was fast"
Ulemper: "Horrible people doing the check-in for the flight Very stricted with weight so they can charge you horribly high prices for their benefit Very arrogant Delayed flights Not offered even water if you hadn’t booked meals Very expensive snack bar prices and can only pay by card Worst airline ever with the most abusive and arrogant staff"

Fordeler: "The film selection was good."
Ulemper: "Delays with very little information. Cramped plane. Unprofessional staff. No free refreshments. Bad website and faulty app. A budget airline to be avoided."

Fordeler: "Boarding was well done."
Ulemper: "Nice new plane seemed very spacious until the "herd" arrived then it seemed more crowded than I had expected. Staff was a it rigid, and NOTHING - and I do mean NOTHING is provided unless soupy for it. Well you can use the restroom. My sense is that Norwegian wants to pull you in with low prices- then somehow tries to get you to pay enormous amounts for food or services because you are a captive audience. So I am not impressed and would have to say that other airlines are better. I think with a proper strategy you can make Norwegian Air work."

Ulemper: "I got to the airport at 8:45 for a 10:25 flight with carry on only. Carry on I have used with Norwegian in the past, and was actually packed minimally as this trip is only 4 days. The person at the kiosks who did the weighing of luggage was barely understandable. No one was helpful, instead it was like some game t weigh the bag and tell someone it was a kilo over. After I stood in line for 45 min, the bag weighed in at 8.6 kilos!! Clearly under the requirement, but as I was told to stand in line I was forced to check that bag and pay $65 (and to pay you had to move to a separate line that took another 30 min). As you can imagine 40% of the plane was in the same spot and then even with the flight boarding, no Norwegian staff assisted all of these passengers to get through security. Miserable!"

Fordeler: "Cheap."
Ulemper: "Cheapness!"

Ulemper: "Wheelchair was not boardedit first and was not brought to the gate on landing. We were not assigned seats near front until I complained North hot food available on flight Seats cramped"

Fordeler: "Great leg room considering it's a short flight."
Ulemper: "Rude staff."

Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "Economy seat, no earphones, terrible food. This was a business class ticket."

Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "Food, seat, entertainment"

Fordeler: "All in all a great flight both there and back. I'd recommend this airline without hesitation. I didn't have a single issue with them. Great plane with all the new gadgets etc, love that the windows could be dimmed for sleep/watching movies. Lots of leg room, bonus for me was that both flights I had nobody next to me so I was also able to lie down! Shopping system worked great, every time I ordered I received my food/drink within minutes. Boarding was carried out in number order and worked well as they give themselves loads of time. There was no backlog of passengers waiting for that one person (there is always one!) to arrange their overhead space perfectly!! Would definitely fly with them again."

Fordeler: "The time slot is very inconvenient but otherwise pretty ok"
Ulemper: "NO FOOD. I didn't know I had to pre order food and ALL the snacks had run out! They really need to have a reserve."

Fordeler: "Overall good service with timely information."
Ulemper: "50 minutes delay. The message from Kayak update stated terminal B and I needed to go all the way to Terminal A with luggage. A bit of exercise!"

Fordeler: "Quick flight on which I was able to sleep most of the way and wake up at 6am in uk. Good entertainment offering that I didn't use. No food but worked well with my sleeping."
Ulemper: "Lack if food might not suit all and should be made mire obvious. I nearly missed it but once aware covered it very successfully."

Fordeler: "I LOVED the entire journey and embrace the pay as you go model for economical long haul travel!"

Fordeler: "The price point, relatively efficient, good baggage of you shop around for the right fare ie, kayak etc. Comfortable seat and similar leg room to BA/Virgin economy for a much lower price."
Ulemper: "The food quality wasn't great on the supplied meals, the best option is to buy at the airport and take onboard. Delayed flight almost guaranteed. No IFE on our flight home apart from a few TV shows. No movies. Crew are hit or miss with the quality. Some are good, some are not so good or welcoming. Gate staff/set up wasn't great and not much information about the delayed departure given out."
