The food was MUCH better on Lufthansa flights that originate in Europe than flights that originate in the US. I will definitely fly again."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaos, I have never, even in India, experienced less organization of a boarding process. Actually, there were no lines, just a crowd of passengers pushing and shoving towards two gates. This was made worse by the occasional golf cart trying to move thru this throng of passengers. Most dangerous was that the flow of passengers down the escalators was not regulated, when I reached the bottom of the escalator there was no place to go, I was pushed awkwardly to the side by passengers piling up behind me. I am 67 years old, and found this very unsafe to my self and others. I hope that no injuries occurred."
Ulemper: "The fact that the person in front of us could push her seat back to the point that the TV screen was up in my mother's face. Just because someone has paid extra for a better seat, does not mean they should inconvenience elderly people (who are less flexible in moving further back). This creates a poor environment. Please consider not having your seats recline to the point where they make the person in the seat behind, extremely uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed for 45 minutes with not enough information for the passengers. The airport boarding crew were rude We were offered only a tiny pack of chips with bad taste and a drink No inflight entertainment at all"

Ulemper: "Missed this flight"
Ulemper: "There was a 4.5 hr delay due to "technical difficulties". We had to switch planes. This caused me to miss my flight to Tucson out of LAX. When I asked them to help rebook my flight that Lufthansa caused ne to miss, i was told there is nothing they can do. Seeing as how that last flight was not booked through Lufthansa. This is absolutely ridiculous! There were no Lufthansa flights into Tucson so I had no choice but to go with another carrier! So after a long grueling 4.5 hr delay and 11+hr flight now I have to stay in a hotel because my flight out via Southwest was the last one out for the day and The only nonstop flight departs at 12:35 tomorrow. Thank goodness Southwest booked me on another flight at no charge! They take care of their customers. It was not their fault I missed the flight. It was dur to the "techincal difficulties" with Lufthansa. And every hotel within a 8 mile radius has been sold out. And at one point I booked online only to find out upon my arrival, after paying for taxi and havig him leave, thAt this hotel is sold out and should not have allowed me to book online. So after landing at 7:15 pm at LAX I am just now in bed at a hotel after searching and paying for cabs etc. And on my dime! Absolutely ridiculous !!"

Fordeler: "I booked a ticket with Airfare.com using Kayak.com. The booking experience was easy, but the important note I want to make was during a large Colorado snowstorm where flights were being cancelled, I was able to proactively re-book my ticket with the help of Airfare.com customer service. Though it was complicated, I want to make sure Airfare.com gets credit for doing a good job."
Fordeler: "The flight wasn't completely full so it was comfortable not having anyone sitting next to me. Food was good. Crew was very nice."
Ulemper: "transfering from one flight to another is a bit of a headache as the gates were very far away. I didn't have a long layover but fortunately my first flight landed a little early. Otherwise there may have been a risk of not making it. Not sure why they would put connecting flights so far apart."

No touch, no 1/8 inch audio jack (it has the old 3 holes one). Wifi for streaming freezes every other second. Just make a face lift to the plane, everything else is good."

Ulemper: "The only complaint I had was that it was very warm on the flight (and I usually get cold on flights), and in the seats we had there weren't fans above the seats. A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

Ulemper: "A little bit chaotic when they loaded two planes at the same time in a very tight space in Amsterdsm but this was most likey an airport soecific design issue and not a KLM issue. The flight was as good as can be expected fir an international flight. The staff was great"

Ulemper: "Follow your own policies. Allow people to board (economy plus) with their hand luggage who have followed all the rules and chosen a seat in the front of the plane. My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed"

Ulemper: "Seat pitch could've been more. At least let us know via Whatsapp that the plane is delayed, or at which belt the bags would come out. This basic info was lacking."
Ulemper: "This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities."
Ulemper: "They check for everything in the counter as if it was a low cost airline. If you go a kilo more over your baggage allowance you have to pay 100 eur. And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Ulemper: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."
Fordeler: "787 is a great airplane. The 3-3-3 seat configuration leaves enough seat width to be just comfortable in coach."

Ulemper: "Everything! The crew was rude, no entertainment whatsoever, late boarding, late departure and bad experience with the check in process both in app and on website."
Ulemper: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."
Fordeler: "The staff were friendly and all smiles. Seats were comfortable and we had a quick, smooth flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam. The breakfast supplied was an egg and mayonnaise sandwich plus a drink, which seemed about right and very Dutch in character."
Ulemper: "It was rainy and necessary to walk outside to access the plane; the staff should give their customers a heads-up so that jackets can be donned. Additionally, the check-in queue seemed rather sluggish."

Ulemper: "They can not retire these old Boeing 747's soon enough. Due to mechanical problems, our flight arrived at LAXfour and a half hours late and further problems with the cargo door caused an additional one hour delay of our take off."

Most SAS planes are really nice and new. On this flight they had a problem and had to use one of their older planes. It was still pretty nice, but the entertainment system on the older plane was a little dated."
Ulemper: "Used backup plane. It had an older entertainment system."
Ulemper: "I don’t like how the food on premium economy is packed in a cubic box that is really messy to eat from which the small plastic cutlery. Food quality is good, but feels like being an animal being fed from a bucket."
Fordeler: "We rode economy. This was on par with other airlines. Plane was clean, Crew was good. On time. Actually seemed that the seats had a bit more room than the American Airlines planes."
Ulemper: "Cannot talk to a human. Check in was at a Luftansa kiosk. If an attendant at the Frankfurt airport had not showed us, there was no obvious way to guess how to check a bag or get a boarding pass. So if you do not speak German fluently, ask an attendant as soon as you get to the check in area, and save yourself some walking and time."

Ulemper: "They take blankets away too soon so u freeze. Three hour delay and they only give u a voucher to buy a cup of coffee"

Fordeler: "Setene er behagelige, og selv i SAS Go er det mulig å legge setene lenger ned enn jeg er vant til hos en del andre flyselskaper i samme seteklasse."
Ulemper: "Det er ikke mulig å bestille spesialmåltid samtidig med billettene, man må ringe. Dette virker unødvendig tungvint, spesielt med tanke på at det var ekstra lang ventetid hos kundeservice i den aktuelle perioden. Heldigvis var det mulig å få hjelp via Facebook, men det er visst ikke vanlig."
Fordeler: "Crew was fine"
Ulemper: "Never been on an international flight where I had to pay for my own wine. Plus the entertainment was broken and the food was terrible."
Fordeler: "After four hours waiting on the tarmac, at 3AM in the morning, the flying attendants gave us free peanuts. That was very thoughtful."
Ulemper: "Worst experience ever. We waited on the tarmac for almost 4 hours, due a technical problem. Finally, they gave up attempting to solve the problem (at 3.30AM), and we disembarked. No assistance at all. No hotel. No meals. Rescheduling was a lengthy process. Staff was rude. Really a nightmare of an experience. Note to self: never ever fly again with SAS."
Fordeler: "I flew SAS from ewr to wro and back a d can't say enough good things about the company. The crew was very friendly and always smiling, the flight was quick and arrived early, the plane was very clean aND overall just great experience. Next flight I'll be looking to book with SAS. Fordeler: "Courteous staff, great food, CLEAN airplane, spacious seats. Zero complaints and WAY better than any domestic airlines (United, Delta, American) based on personal experience!"

Ulemper: "Fight was canceled and no email or communication was possible with this company. Called SAS office - CLOSED. Stood in line for 2 hours and no one came or announced anything. Checkin agents were on dope-no help and checking machines not working!"
Ulemper: "Flight was cancelled upon check in without any prior notice. Was forced to wait three hours in line for them to reroute to flight twelve hours later. Staff was rude, unapologetic, demanding and incompetent the entire time. Flight was packed, uncomfortable and smelled terrible. Flight was rough, landing was rough. Terrible airline."
Fordeler: "Checked in easily with the line moving quickly. Boarding was efficient for a full flight. Left on time and arrived early. Luggage beat me to the carousel. Please give Air Canada lessons!"

Ulemper: "The boarding was a mess, and the arrival was long- got to Ft lauderdale 20 minutes early only to sit on the tarmac. The customs in Ft Lauderdale is the real mess- no organization, 1 line and too few customs people working. That airport is a nightmare!"

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."
Ulemper: "The Norwegian line person who made sure we had advanced security screening, they singled out over 10 passengers for advanced screening causing the plane to wait."
Fordeler: "Ganske god mat."
Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"
Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"

Fordeler: "For the price range it’s a very good option. Not flying beds but comfortable enough for a transatlantic flight."
Fordeler: "The boarding process was smooth and started early enough to allow everyone time to get settled."
Ulemper: "20 hours of flying and there was no food or even a cup of water included. It was not clear when I booked my flight that I would need to book meals in advance, or purchase at inflated prices on the plane."
Ulemper: "We waited 4 hours on the plane, before the 7 hour flight. They couldn’t de- ice us. This was after the first flight was cancelled."
Fordeler: "A nice comfortable plane and there was plenty of room to stretch out as it was less than a quarter full"
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed by 90 minutes and switched gates so we had to wait extra long in the crowded airport then missed our connecting flight in Oslo as a result and had to wait another 4 hrs for the next one. No Food or drink on the plane unless you buy it and Checked bags are very expensive."

Ulemper: "2.5 hrs on the plane before departure due to last minute technical problem. During long delay, water and small snack given only to the other aisle (not mine). Terrible service.Impossible to buy headsets during long delay. I did not know one is now required to tell online that one wants dinner on the plane. So, no food for me. I had to buy some snacks but most were out-of-stock. Overall very bad"

Ulemper: "Since when is food/snacks complimentary for International flights? I had to pay for a cup of tea!"

Ulemper: "Everything had to be paid for. A sip of water, a snack, they do not provide meals like every other transatlantic flight. The flight was delayed 3 hours and hopefully my connection wasn't also delayed. Very uncomfortable seats and also had to pay for blankets."

Ulemper: "Impolite Attitude of one of the more senior inflight atendent. Other younger attendent was nice and helpful."

Ulemper: "The crew was inattentive. No one checked seat belts or chair positions at takeoff or landing. To the crew, the passengers were non existent . I had cold air blowing on me throughout the trip and asked that the direction of the air be changed. After my request, I never saw the crew member again and I spent a five hour flight with my hair blowing in the wind. The crew enjoyed their own company partying in the “kitchen “ without caring that passengers could hear their conversations at 2:00 in the morning. Again, inattentive and unkind!"

Ulemper: "Middag var kun 1 av tre alternativer igjen når de kom til nest bakerste seteraden. Dette er litt for dårlig med tanke på premium bilettprisen. De løste det ved å hente mat fra lowfare cabinen og det etter at de hadde servert alle på premium."
Fordeler: "When it was over!"
Ulemper: "Very poor customer service as the Norwegian staff at JFK are not employees of the airline. They have very little care or concern for any travel issues that may occur. They are there to process passengers through. If you have any questions or need help you are passed to a very uninterested person that only can tell you to go on the Norwegian website for anything you need to do with your booking. The check-in and gate agents provide no help or even attempt to try serve the customer. They are just there to perform a task. Norwegian sold premium seats and then puts the customer in Economy in the back of the plane. A bit is a bait and switch. They should refund the difference in the fare to be fair."
