They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."

Ulemper: "Not even a smile from the purser and one other crew member on the Swedish leg. The captain hurriedly "explained", no one understood him, why we were so delayed, but he did not apologize! Zurich airport has no charging sockets! (Ancient) All of terminal A has not a single one! No one supervised the loading passengers not to interfere with those passing by. It was a complete mess. We took off 50 minutes late from Zurich, with no apparent reason. Worst in years for me. We sat in the plane for 30 minutes and were not offered even water. Big fail! (btw, I am unusually so critical)."
Fordeler: "The flight attendants were extremely polite . Great service i love my accommodation in Business class . Very clean , punctual, comfortable, up dates by pilot frequently. Over all a hard work TEAM of Flight Attendants. Thank You to all of them."

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Ulemper: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Not sure why the gate information would show "boarding" and then "gate closing" before anyone had actually started boarding. Was ultimately sat before the scheduled takeoff time, although takeoff was after the schedule. Favourable flying conditions allowed us to land 5 minutes early, although as there was another plane still sitting at our gate on arrival meant we were ultimately late to the gate (giving gate / disboarding times would be more honest than just the scheduled landing time). Somehow, even though there was a plane sitting at our gate on arrival, when we were allowed to taxi to the gate, there were apparently no ground staff there. What? Even though there was an incoming plane, they went elsewhere? Staff on the plane and the meal service were fine.

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

I realized the issue the day-of, spent hours on the phone trying to book a different flight through the customer services at FlyUs.com (stupid company!), and was finally rebooked by SAS on a different airline. When I called SAS directly, they immediately took care of the situation and handled it well, but I wasted an entire day dealing with FlyUs.com, waiting on confirmation for a flight that I was never going to receive. The whole experience was awful."

Nonetheless, the staff was very understanding, and called me to the gate once I finally arrived to assign me a seat since I wasn't given one when I checked in online. They upgraded me without my asking... to an economy plus exit row, so I had lots of room during the 8 hour flight to Copenhagen. The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful."

Fordeler: "Seat was surprisingly comfortable, and entertainment system was better than I expected!"
Ulemper: "Bathroom was not super tidy, and bathroom door had issue with closing and locking properly."
Fordeler: "The new plane and the entertainment system are great. Especially liked being able to order drinks and pay for them from the entertainment system"
Ulemper: "The seats like most airlines are uncomfortable and the leg room is bad."
Ulemper: "Legroom. Complimentary coffee."
Fordeler: "The crew was great, and the 787 is a great plane."
Ulemper: "Main problem was waiting nearly an hour on the tarmac after landing before reaching our gate."

Ulemper: "Renhold, søppel og mat i setene. Veldig varmt i flyet før avgang og ble sittende en stund før avgang."
Fordeler: "We like that we were able to get free movies. Crew was nice."
Ulemper: "Food could be better. We had to wait an hour and a half to get off an airplane."
Fordeler: "Reasonable price for premium class seats."
Fordeler: "Crew was good."
Ulemper: "Better if they give at least snacks and drinks. Other airlines give you food. Luggage was way expensive 90$ per person? Too much. Other airlines they only charge 60$."
Fordeler: "I flew on the economy class and the space between the front seat and mine is conformable, you can really stretch your legs with no problem."
Ulemper: "No leg room at all. No complimentary drinks like domestic travel."
Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."
Fordeler: "Ganske god mat."
Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"
Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"
Ulemper: "We waited 4 hours on the plane, before the 7 hour flight. They couldn’t de- ice us. This was after the first flight was cancelled."
Ulemper: "Internett virket bare tidvis og ikke i begynnelsen"
Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"
Fordeler: "Liked that the flight was not full and therefore could use 3 seats to stretch a bit. Modern plane and smooth flight. Cheap!"
Ulemper: "Tight leg space. No food or drinks besides water. Sits could be more padded. My screen didn't allow me to order food or drinks. It was broken and there was no effort from the crew to offer to get at least a menu or pay with my visa for even a cup of coffee. I could have gone to the middle area to deal with it but it was not worth the effort. Not the most pleasing crew IMO. Just doing their jobs."
Ulemper: "Terribly uncomfortable seats!!! Bad food."
Fordeler: "Seats have so little legroom to begin with, but when the seat in front of you leans back, then there is no face/body room either, very clostrophobic, couldn't even reach my purse under the seat, and I am not an overly tall or wide person. Reclining seats should be eliminated to give all a fairer amount of such little space."
Ulemper: "Already paying so much for tickets, being charged so much extra for a seat reservation, a "meal" of sorts, all beverages and snacks, a piece of luggage, where is there any good will in treating travelers with hospitality that makes them want to travel more instead to avoid it at all costs."
Ulemper: "Very unfriendly and stressed out female attendants....they should keep the guys only...I wish I was seated on the other side of plane... Catered primarily to customers ordering and paying on the plane...including cooked meals....customers with preordered meals got everything last...we end up having no choice of meal (chicken only) while people seated next to us got their NOT preordered beef dinner promptly, 10 minutes before us...and people seated behind us got no prepaid meals because they run out of food...???..."
Fordeler: "Very comfortable at very reasonable cost, friendly, attentive staff"
Ulemper: "Forsinkelse. Både ved avreise og ved landing"
Fordeler: "The fact that we didn’t crash"
Ulemper: "The plane was hot old and the crew needed to step it up. Very inefficient!"
Ulemper: "Alltif forsinkelser og dårlig med beskjeder"
Fordeler: "It was a low fare trip, so I did not expect a lot."
Ulemper: "Seat was far too cramped, the person in front if me reclined and mine did not recline all the way. The temperature was far too cold and you had to pay for a blanket, which is crazy. I know it’s low fare, but I don’t want to keep the blanket, I have no room. The food choices for purchase were not great. The crew were very nice."
Fordeler: "The seat was comfortable and reclined."
Ulemper: "We were not offered water at all during the 9 hour flight. The TV did not work. The crew never came around for trash! It was on the floor and in the seat back pouches. There were only two menus for the whole plane."
Fordeler: "Kanon bra flyvert.. veldig underholdene"
Fordeler: "God plass, gode seter og hyggelig service."
Ulemper: "Middag var kun 1 av tre alternativer igjen når de kom til nest bakerste seteraden. Dette er litt for dårlig med tanke på premium bilettprisen. De løste det ved å hente mat fra lowfare cabinen og det etter at de hadde servert alle på premium."
Fordeler: "$ 500 for a premium class seat from Stockholm to LA? Can't even get close to that kind of price on any other airline! I flew to Stockholm just for this flight home, Norwegian never disappoints ! Great crew."
Ulemper: "No downsides in my opinion, even had a departure time (2PM) that allowed for a relaxed checkout from my hotel."
Fordeler: "Replacement flight was good, just 24 hours too late. The flight was handled by Privilege Airlines (Spanish) which went smoothly."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed several times, from 17:10 to about midnight when it was cancelled. We were given very little info and didn''t learn about replacement flight until 2 AM next day which was then scheduled for 17:10 the next day, 24 hours later. We ended up staying in airport for extra 24 hours (couldn't fine hotel w/i 30 mi.). Basic problem was slow decision making and poor communications"

Fordeler: "Better food + Netflix + Free WiFi"
Fordeler: "I believe the only thing I did like about the trip was the easement of getting checked to board the plane. Other than that, maybe just the price of my flight."
Ulemper: "Where to begin, first of all the flight was delayed. And not just one or two hours, but almost 5 hours! The communication from the boarding crew was atrocious, as they did not keep us informed until maybe an hour after the fact that it was already delayed. After finally being cleared to board we were all cramped and rushed on a shuttle from the waiting area to the plane. I've been on cramped planes before, but maybe not this badly. I received a middle seat, which was alright, but the amount of space to move around in was unacceptable. I attempted to load my carry on in the storage compartment overhead but it was all taken up. That made matters worse in terms of having space to stretch my feet out, as the person's next to me were not the kindest and kept cramping me even more. The delaying of my flight made me miss my check in to my hotel two hours later. I lost most of my day I'm being able to have free time before the check in due to it. Overall, I was not satisfied one bit with the airline service. I just hope that my return flight is a more pleasant one."
Ulemper: "Took us 2 hours just to drop bags off and check in. Almost missed flight. The guy who was managing the check in staff was one of the most rude aggressive people I've ever met. Could not check in online prior to flight. Check in machines at airport don't work. Got to London and had to wait half an hour standing on the tarmac while they found a tunnel to take passengers off the flight. Worst flying experience I've had for years. Never again with this clown show."
Fordeler: "Great leg room considering it's a short flight."
Ulemper: "Rude staff."
Fordeler: "Plane was new - clean"
Ulemper: "I flew business class which really is just bigger seats/more legroom than economy. One of the 2 heads was out of order in business class. Also no earphones/headsets were available - even for sale. The food was equivalent to economy and you had to pay for additional “snacks”"
Fordeler: "The Hi Fly staff was great-very attentive to its customers. This was in stark contrast to our flight to Barcelona operated by Norwegian. We did not upgrade our flights, and still received hot food and plenty of beverages."
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment, and their boarding process was a little confusing."
Ulemper: "Wasn’t expecting to fly for 8hrs across the Atlantic in the same kind of plane usually expected for the short flights between European countries. A last minute plane change to a non-Norwegian aircraft had me scrambling to re-reserve pre-selected seats (the change moved our reserved seats to a less than ideal location), which had to be done through customer service because the Norwegian site wouldn’t let me make the change. What seemed like a 30+ yr old aircraft, no in-flight entertainment, broken seat backs, and an ornery flight attendant - I guess I get what I paid for..."
Fordeler: "Staff were courteous and the anenities were good - plane itself excellent"
Ulemper: "Four hour delay in boarding put us too late into London for a planned festivity."
