Both waited on the tarmac for the plane to be ready and both busses opened the doors at the same time. The families were swamped while trying to load the plane with kids in tow."

My left shoulder and arm and left hip started hurting - couldn't sleep - took 2 days to get rid of the numbness in my arm. I asked to move, and it became obvious that there were many empty seats in the next section behind. I moved, and my comfort improved. Why was I given such a posture killer - especially on such a very long flight with seats to spare?"

Ulemper: "One of our pieces of luggage did not make it back with us. The good thing is that the Lufthansa staff was helpful, the automated emails kept me informed, and the bag was delivered to me as soon as possible. Seems to me it was as good as it gets when a piece of luggage gets lost."
Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."

Ulemper: "One flight assistant seemed a bit gruff and impatient compared to the others . Also food was nothing special. We could have used more water offerings and trash pickups during the flight afterwards the cabin was a mess."
Fordeler: "They didn't charge me for my surfboards which was great. It was my only check-on bag and under two meters and that should be free on every airline. Flight attendants were very nice and professional. I gave the food 5 stars based on other airline food, I'm not expecting restaurant quality at 37,000'. Movie selection was adequate for me, although I've seen some complaints in the reviews here."
Ulemper: "It was a little tricky checking in on my phone. The check email reminder didn't carry the info I needed to check in which required extra searching and copying and pasting. That experience could be streamlined. There was group confusion when being directed to board the plane on two flights."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Ulemper: "It was announced I can choose between fish and chicken meal but when I requested for fish meal, I was told it’s finished. My seat was 21, and it surprised me. If something can be changed about that then your services would be much appreciated. Thank you."

Ulemper: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"
Fordeler: "From downloading the KLM app to the final touchdown of my final flight, everything was an ease, checking in, the option to change my seat, the service received was great."
Ulemper: "The ability to state a seat or meal preference within the app would be good but otherwise all was good."

Ulemper: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

Ulemper: "Water bottles not given out unless ou ask for it. Crew needs to better trained with how to handle business class..."
Ulemper: "I did not like that i was in the bulkhead and there was not sufficient overhead storage for us. The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Ulemper: "The flight was a chartered flight . Air France informed us that due to cabin crew shortage they couldn't operate an air france flight and hence they hired Air Belgium. Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Ulemper: "Very cramped. Poor leg room also with.metal bars under seats that further. Limited foot room. Terrible options in movies. The seats in front of us reclined so far that I couldn’t do anything but stare at the back of the seat anyway."
Ulemper: "There should be more layover time as I almost missed my flight and My luggage was delayed!!"
Fordeler: "Punctual, not crowded."
Ulemper: "Even though the plane was far from full, passengers were allowed only 1 carry-on item (no personal item), contrary to policy published online by Air France. This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

Ulemper: "Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good."
Fordeler: "The Crew was the only thing that stuck out. Associates had Way more patience than i."
Ulemper: "Late takeoff, priority seating happens same time as general boarding, two pieces of lost luggage"

Ulemper: "Simple food - very small amounts. No entertainment."
Fordeler: "The crew was friendly."
Ulemper: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."
Fordeler: "Flight was cancelled and had to be rebooked, pushing our travel home back a day. No positives."
Ulemper: "Work around the flight cancellation better to keep people on schedule."
Fordeler: "The crew was good but this seating was very tight."
Ulemper: "Boarding should be done from the back of the plane to forward which would get rid of the bottle neck when trying to get on. It was not an Iceland plane and there was no entertainment available."
Fordeler: "The seat has minimal cushioning"
Fordeler: "You have to put up with a lot but it’s a cheap way to get to Europe."
Ulemper: "As has happened to us before our extra leg roo. Seats (that we paid extra money for) disappeared when we checked in and we’re replaced with separate seats in the back of the plane. Boarding is long and very disorganized. It took over an hour to get our bags."

Fordeler: "Crew and food was nice If you are a Saga class passenger like my wife and I left something to be desired"
Ulemper: "Boarding procee in Iceland for Saga class means you get called up first to wait in line for bus to plane. There you wait for others to check in the gate. Then you proceed to board the bus. Saga class was with everyone. By the time we got on board waiting to climb the stairs we were soaked from the rain. Our bags were marked priority yet to our dismay it took 20 minutes for our bags to come on the carosill after others started getting there bags. Glad We had those priority stickers as we were clearly in the last of the bunch. 0"
Fordeler: "A bit more leg room for a budget airline. Water and toilet were free."
Ulemper: "Very expensive and limited food options for such a long flight. Impossible to avoid the very third-world Reykjavik airport. The facilities and services were not adequate to serve the volume of passengers passing through on the weekdays we were there. The over- crowded spaces presented both safety and security concerns in my opinion."
Ulemper: "Huge lines for everything,got delayed by 1 hour....."
Fordeler: "Inexpensive ticket. Boarded and left right on time. Small, crappy plane (757=200). It was so old, there were still ashtrays in the back of the cabin!"
Ulemper: "The D gate area for check-in is a zoo, and we saw more than one couple looking for the correct gate. We were charged a bag fee of $77. IF one goes on line 36 hours before you can get if for $55. We were unaware that the bag wasn't included (our bad, of course), but when we pointed out that on Iceland Air check in there was NO place that asked for bags?? They said it was our fault for not "reading the fine print". We can only check in 24 hours in advance, so WHO would think to "manage trip"...36 hours in advance?? Especially in rural Iceland which is where we were 36 hours ahead of time. We would have gladly paid the discounted rate for the bag, but no on was willing to help us with that, so we got soaked for $77 and were told to take our concerns to Iceland air customer service."
Fordeler: "Just enough room to be comfortable and the seats reclined enough so you could sleep. But I watched three good movies instead."
Ulemper: "I would have looked led a free cookie."
Fordeler: "Price was good"
Ulemper: "Made me pay for checked bag"
Fordeler: "Helpful and efficient cabin crew. A crew member found space for my carry-on in an overhead bin, when I couldn't find room near my seat."
Ulemper: "Boarding is painful at the airport in Keflavik--there simply is not enough room for the number of flights leaving around the same time and all the people trying to board."
Fordeler: "Flight attendants seemed nice."
Ulemper: "I think Icelandair maybe the most disorganized flight I’ve ever been on. 3 of our 4 of flights were delayed, one for 3.5 hours. Found it amusing How they provided a 14£ Refreshment Compensation but announced it after almost every restaurant had closed. Information agents were either unavailable or late when an issue was present and weren’t helpful most of the time. I would do my best to never fly IA again or recommend them to anyone, especially those traveling to and from the US/Europe."
Fordeler: "Not much to like on this leg of my flight"
Ulemper: "Was over an hour late to board and depart. Missed connection in Seattle, was then given printed paperwork for new flight which would not get us through security and then had to go back to main desk, almost missing connecting flight for the 2nd time. Little to no communication as to why we were delayed. Very little help from flight crew as to what our options were since connection was missed etc."
Ulemper: "No free meal or alcohol. Small seats."
Fordeler: "The wanderlust salad is fantastic!"
Fordeler: "The entertainment portion was the biggest positive. Crew was pleasant and non invasive."
Ulemper: "Not offering any sort of complimentary food on a 7 hour flight isn't ok. Not being transparent about not offering any sort of food is worse. Boarding was confusing with separate lines, scanning our tickets, herding us into a room, then directing us to go upstairs, then over a ramp, then into our plane without any sort of efficient zone boarding."
Ulemper: "we were delayed 7 hours due to technical hour. 3 of these hours were spent on the tarmac."
Fordeler: "Nice to have complimentary food and drinks served. the blanket and pillow were much needed. Thank you."

Ulemper: "Flight attendants seemed like they wanted to be doing something else. Not serving a meal on a 7 1/2 hour international flight is unacceptable. At least tell economy passengers that there will be no food included in big letters beforehand."
Fordeler: "All of the employees are highly professional and very kind. IcelandAir is my new favorite company for flying!"

Ulemper: "We had to buy headset and food onboard for an international flight of seven hours. Cheap airline, charging premium prices. We will never fly Icelandair again."

Fordeler: "The crew was amazing! Really went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. It was freezing on the flight and the flight attendant looked all over the plane to find me a blanket. She was extremely attentive. The entertainment selection was great, made the long flight go by very fast."
Ulemper: "You have to pay for food, which I would have been fine with had it not been over priced and tiny portions. It was $13 for the one real meal, and it was like a 3rd of a portion. I could have had 3. I ended up spending almost $40 to fill me up on food for the flight. The flight was extremely cold."
Ulemper: "Need better English speaking crew doing announcements. Streamline the waiting lines. Speedup booking and boarding. Access airplanes direct from terminal. No buses!"

Fordeler: "Nothing. I would give the airline zero stars.. Zero..unfortunately that option is not available."
Ulemper: "I was traveling with my 72 year old mother and had 2 hand luggages with me. No one offered or bothered to assist my mother down the flight of stairs to get down to board the bus awaiting for transfer on the initial flight to Hamburg. The flight attendants just stood there doing nothing. I hope this airline becomes so unpopular that Americans will boycott traveling with them. Lesson learned. Just like Delta Airlines, poor customer service, cheap overpriced meals will be the downfall of this airline."
Fordeler: "- We arrived safely. - Crew was cordial, polite and professional. - Company allows delaying flight delay up to a week free of charge, to enable tourism in Iceland (we did not take advantage this time)."
Ulemper: "- Reykjavik airport boarding is a mess (as always). No waiting area with seating near gates. People are standing in hallways like cattle. - Plane was louder than usual, even though we were seated near front, 2 rows behind first class. - insufficient legroom for taller people. - company charges extra for exit row seats. - no complimentary food, except for children under 12, for a transatlantic flight. - some trash (plastic bottles) left under seats from previous flight. - human waste smell from septic tank in cabin toward end of flight."

Fordeler: "It was a full flight, which caused delays in boarding. It would have been better to organize the boarding process by some kind of a system, such as rear to front or similar. When that is done, it usually speeds up the process."
Ulemper: "As I said, the unorganized boarding process caused everyone to just crowd onto the bus and then on the plane. This caused delays."
Fordeler: "the flight attendants were awesome"
Ulemper: "Would have loved a more reclining seat for such a long trip."
Fordeler: "Window seat, clear sky, only a few bumps. Loved looking down as we crossed over Greenland."
Fordeler: "The flight left on time. I appreciate that."
Ulemper: "Boarding was atrocious. There was a small boarding area and there were 5 flights boarding - 1 at 6:50 and the other 4 at 7pm. So many people standing in line in such a small space. It was very uncomfortable. staggering times would be so much more helpful for that small area. Also, on an 8 hour flight, you should provide some free food. Crew is not overly helpful or happy."
Fordeler: "Love iceland air for seat comfort and entertainment options, despite late boarding we still arrived on time."
Ulemper: "There was no communication in Reykjavik to our boarding area, they boarded 20 minutes late with no communication or update on the intercom. Then they just opened boarding with no communication, very strange. IcelandAir still operates in the dark ages with seating assignments, I was unable to select seats for my flight ahead of time because tickets were purchased through another ticket vendor other than the airline itself. I also don't like how all food has to be purchased even though it is a 7+ hour flight."
