The cabin crew was friendly and helpful. We had a very short connecting time (1 hour) at Doha. They put a ground staff to receive all the ten passengers who needed to make that connection."

After 20-30 minutes of wait, I finally got my ticket but the security and custom lines were very long by that time. Never flying Qatar again."

Ulemper: "This company í overrated. Obvious lack of organization in the boarding process that led to a late departure. Not a sympathetic crew, which had to be reminded the protocols (upright seats before take off) while being inflexible on other things. Chaotic food service. Average entertainment."

Fordeler: "Jenna our crew member was amazing. My wife and I traveled with our 5 kids ages 8, 6, 4, &11month old twins. Thought it would be a total nightmare but the crew was so helpful and understanding. They made sure the older 3 got their infotainment system working and setup the bassinets for the twins."

Ulemper: "There was a nosiey family setting behind us they bothered us an the ppl around us the little kid was very hyper and loud un polite and the father him self is very rough when getting up an setting as he would grap the chair very hard and he would move and kick alot we complained to the crew but he didn’t stop and the noise and bothering was there the whole flight, the captain of the flight felt like he isnt a professional as the plain was moving in unstable way on a high speed and uncomfortable degree where we felt unsafe at a point, the flight was Delayed one hour so as the time we took of we reach to dubai an hour late and had just around 50 min to get to the connected flight we had to run and we couldn’t rest or take a look at the airport our waiting time was 1:50 min because of the delay we had to run for the next flight, i think that Emirates airlines should stop dealing with Flydubai crew as they aren’t as professional and they are effecting in a bad way, i have traveled many times with Emirates and this is the first time i dont feel satisfied, next time ill make sure the flight isnt oprated by Flydubai they crew and captain is not in the professional level at all."

Ulemper: "Restrooms, even before flight took off, smelled of urine like they had not been cleaned. Lines to use them were very long. Leg room SUCKED (and I am not a big person).....maybe 30-31 inches, but my knees were banging up against the seat in front of me!!! I booked this ticket thinking that economy would have more room than US-based carriers and it did not. It did not help to have a very large man spilling over into my seat from the middle seat (although he was very nice....still resent paying for a seat I don't have full "bandwidth" for),"

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "I was surprised when i got on the plane because i always hear great thinhs about the Emirates airplanes, this one was very low quality airplane, and for a long distance flights the flight must have been a better one."

Ulemper: "Honestly, i cannot think of anything specific except that it was very chilly inside the business class."

Fordeler: "The entertainment options were great! And, they have free wine with meals."
Ulemper: "There was no leg room at all in economy. My knees were in the seat of the person in front of me. Most of the food was terrible and I only ate the bread. The TV is on the back of the seat in front of you and is a touch screen. You have to touch pretty hard. So, every time the person behind me was scrolling, they had to hit my seat. I couldn't sleep the entire 16 hours more than 30 minutes. I asked for water to take some medicine and was told it was 30 minutes til food service and to wait. It was over 2 hours before they started food service."

Ulemper: "The seats are small , its hard to move, sleep or to do anything For 15 hours flight you need a little bit more space. But everything else was great"

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Fordeler: "My first time on Emirates and it was great. Lots of room and amenities even in economy. Food was surprisingly good."

Ulemper: "1.45 hours connection time in Dubai was hardly sufficient. Had to run through main terminal. Despite being in business class, no special service to bring us to the gate. Not good enough frankly."

Fordeler: "The AC was leaking on the seat and the crew made. Me to sit on the wet seat during Landing!! and tons of cold water dripped on me during taxing making me sick"

Ulemper: "The crew did not pass through the cabin frequently enough to collect trash. As a result, a lot of trash built up in the seats and aisles during the 16 hour flight."

Fordeler: "Flight attendants very very helpful in fixing some kind of mechanical error with my overhead light. When it was stuck on and the remote didn't work, they figured out they could reboot the system and turn it off. I'm glad I had my own headlamp so I could read during the flight, but overhead permanently off was much better than permanently on! I'm very grateful for their persistence in finding a solution. The agents at the Seattle location were very helpful assisting with our baggage problem, caused by Emirates gate agents in Dubai"
Ulemper: "The worst part of this trip was the surprise demand at the gate in Dubai that we check our duty-free liquor in a bag at the gate. There was no warning, no packaging to help protect our purchase, and no recourse We arrived in Seattle to find a liqour soaked bag. The liquor, of course, was a special gift and something we cannot simply repurchase. Very disappointing experience, especially after hearing good reviews of Emirate Air's generally good baggage handling and policies. The agents in Seattle helped remedy this, but it is a big hassle nonetheless as we arrive home to be dealing with damaged personal electronics and finding receipts all while jetlagged and getting back to work. my overhead light broke on the flight! but the flight attendants were very helpful and found a way to turn it off so I could sleep."

Fordeler: "Your staff are amazing....very welcoming, attentive and a joy to be around. I was comfortable i.e leg room was right for my long legs."
Ulemper: "You offer limited choices on food with consideration to Diversity of your clientelle. Your meal vouchers offer substandard meals in the few selected restaurants. I had layover period of 10hrs on.my return leg and about 6/7hrs. These are extremely long hours to sleep on those uncomfortable lounge chairs. This was the worst experience in my flying time."

Fordeler: "Reverse herringbone seating is always one of my business class seating favorites. The crew was quick and efficient. We arrived on time for both the outgoing and return flights."
Ulemper: "Food was lacking. Our outgoing flight had much better food than our return. For example, they provided two or three snack options on the outgoing flight. They only had an asian soup for our return. Since we left at 1:00 am, I slept through the dinner and woke up about six hours later quite hungry."

Ulemper: "Snacks n drinks..water or soda offered after few hrs from dinner. Passengers should not ask for drinks or snack. I mean crackers or biscuits few hrs in mid flight. Even if passengers are mostly asleep, a crew member can walk down aisles with a tray of snacks. This will help some people wha mught not like the food or type 2 diabetic people who needs to eat n drink every 2 to 3 hrs. Signage on boarding gate is not clear. Your flight number and boarding time was in small projected sentences under a huge lettered former destination place."

Ulemper: "The food was bland and it had no flavor. I got food poisoning from what they called a low lactose meal. I am a Chef myself and I feel like part of the overall experience is being fed but I didn’t have a great experience with that. I dread the flight home."

Ulemper: "There was a long delay when boarding the connecting flight to SGN and there weren't any clear updates on the flight status. I didn't mind the wait so much but I wish they had announced the current status more clearly."

Most of the staff were very friendly, but there was a bit of a language barrier which made it a little difficult to ask for something. They are also attentive, so if you press your call button, you don’t have to wait half an hour until someone helps you."
Ulemper: "Most of the meals were awful. I barely ate on the flights (except the dessert), but how good can airplane food be really... The seats are pretty tight and uncomfortable. They are too upright, making it very difficult to sleep. On one of their planes, the seats didn’t recline at all. I recommend paying a bit more for extra leg room ($150) or flying business or first class even (for long flights)."

Fordeler: "They marched me and others through Hong Kong airport to just about make our transfer"
Ulemper: "But my bag evidently didn't make the transfer and came on the next flight. I'd rather have had the extra hour at Hong Kong airport rather than rush there and be stuck waiting an hour at Singapore."

Fordeler: "Crew was great, entertainment was diverse, blankets were comfortable, and food was good. I think I'll make Cathay Pacific my airline for East Asia US travel."
Ulemper: "Nothing to complain about it improve. It was an easy, efficient process to get on and off the plain."

Fordeler: "No issues with airline just other passengers. Plane was older model but very clean. Noticed flight attendants cleaning washrooms frequently. Meals were timely and quite tasty. Even though did not partake, liked how there were snacks available."
Ulemper: "Boarding process was disorganized (no zones or group boarding, just everyone getting in line at once), but still departed on time."

Fordeler: "It was a packed flight and I had the window seat, but I remained seated the entire time.. The selection of entertainment was awesome.."

Ulemper: "The food was almost not edible . I would feel guilty feeding it to my dog"

Fordeler: "American pilots"

Fordeler: "I was on vacation in the Philippines and I was very worried i wouldn't be able to fly back to Portland. I was late to realize that my passport was expiring in less than 6 months. The staff went way beyond in helping me figure out what i need to do. They called a lot of people to make sure i have the right information. They even gave me contact information of the other airline with my connecting flight and advised me to call them to make sure I won't have any problems with boarding with my connecting flight. The service is totally great. I will definitely fly with them again."

Fordeler: "Shorter flight airplane much nicer"

Fordeler: "Reboot shut my system down for a bit. Rebooting restored ok"

Fordeler: "Food nice, much better than KLM. Typical great Asian service."
Ulemper: "No information as to why boarding was over 30 minutes late, even though last call was announced!"

Ulemper: "Worst ever airline in the world charged me for Cary on bag $430 for weight 8.7kg from Oslo Norway to adiss ababa Ethiopia I recommend no one has to fly with Turkish airline poor customer service"

Ulemper: "Better food options, more comfortable seats, easier access to wi fi"

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed - missed connection in Istanbul"

Fordeler: "This was my first time flying Turkish Airlines and they are exceptional! The crew was very friendly and helpful and their food! It was delicious! They also have a way of making you feel like a first class passenger in economy! Will definitely fly with them again!"
Ulemper: "For a long international travel, there is nothing bad to say. They are superb!"

Fordeler: "Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. They fed us and gave us blankets and pillows and slippers. They were lots of movie and tv choices. It was a very pleasant experience."

Ulemper: "With Airlines in the US charging for almost everything except the air you breath while on their plane I hate to complain about the meal Turkish provided free but a couple of the items on the tray could have been better."

Ulemper: "our luggages were left in instanbul so when we arrived in kenya we waited for long before being told our bags were left in instanbul,were had to come next day to collect,stressful experience because we were staying like 80 miles away"

Fordeler: "Slippers provided, many passengers used these (which is much preferable to feet out on the plane). Enternainment included a good number of recent releases, and food consistently exceeded expectations. Staff was pleasant and accommodating."
Ulemper: "Consistent line for the bathroom, very little lights off time to sleep (I was unable to sleep on the flight), standard small child kicking the back of my seat and yelling."

Ulemper: "Was barely given the time of day by any of the airline employees, then they lost my baggage and shipped it to Berlin after I was already back in the States. Jerks!"

Fordeler: "I enjoyed the flight to Istanbul but on the return flight they told me at the exit door of the plane that my stroller for the kids will be in baggage claim. The stroller was. It in baggage claim, the Turkish airline representative could not help or prove de a phone number for me to contact somebody indicating although she has the Turkish airlines uniform she works for swissport. 90 minutes later they said they might send the stroller to my house if found and that I may have to cover the cost as Turkish airlines will not....... terrible service terrible experience and I will never fly with Turkish airlines again"

Ulemper: "Boarding Process could be a little streamlined. Guess we are used to the regulated process"

Ulemper: "Forced me to take beed as Chicken wasnt available. Very reluctant to arrange for an alternative option, and this is after they were already running behind on serving dinner."

Ulemper: "Announce too early boarding time, 50 minutes late for boarding."

Fordeler: "The food was good, the drinks were great, the stewardesses were professional and helpful and the entertainment system was really good, lots of movies. We got there safe and on time...what more do you need? Oh, and the price for my route was amazing; the next airline was $1000 more and the one after that $2000 more."

Fordeler: "THENK YOU!"

Ulemper: "We travel very frequently and each time the food same (meatballs) And the air conditining is terrible."

Fordeler: "Overall flight was incredible. Fantastic service!"

Fordeler: "This was my first time flying with Turkish Airlines, and I had a great experience. I travel internationally a lot and it has been by far the best airline I have been on. I love flights that give you a hot towel when you arrive, so that was a big plus in my book. The flight stewards were so helpful both on and off the flight. The food was delicious. Movie selections were freat ad well."

Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "WOULD NOT TAKE TURKISH AIRLINES AGAIN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. I took a flight from JFK to Tel Aviv, with a a layover in Istanbul. Turkish delayed my first flight by 2 hours, which caused me to miss my layover, and the next flight from Istanbul to Tel Aviv was not until the next day. They made me pay for a visa to get into Istanbul, took me to a hotel about 30 minutes from the airport, and then did not serve me any food for dinner. The Istanbul airport was a mess, the flight attendants and everyone working for the airline was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. Then on the return flight, they changed the time of my flight at the last minute, which caused me to almost miss it. On top of that, they lost my baggage and took a week to get it back. DO NOT EVER FLY TURKISH, YOU WILL REGRET IT."

Fordeler: "Nothing."
Ulemper: "The absolute worst airline we have ever flown with. Will never fly with them again."

Fordeler: "Great Cabin Service, Great Food, timely arrival and departures."
Ulemper: "Ground Staff Service in Mumbai airport. Could improve a lot. Specially compared to ground staff service in Toronto & Istanbul airports. On all flights legroom was kind of limited in the Coach seats."

Fordeler: "Overall, it was a pleasant flight with good food and entertainment."
Ulemper: "The crew was inefficient: delivering coffee one cup at a time and not even offering it to everyone. I had asked a flight attendant for a glass of water and was never brought water until I asked someone else. The check-in personnel and flight attendants seemed to have no knowledge of toddlers traveling with a carseat, so I had to explain to them that he travels with his carseat or he manages to get out of his seatbelt. They made some calls to see if it was fine to bring the carseat onboard and finally gave us the ok, which we were very grateful for. When it was time to board and also to exit the aircraft it was a very slow process...much slower than usual. Most airlines have you boarding 30 minutes prior to your flight, but we were still standing around waiting."

Fordeler: "I was 35 weeks pregnant at the time of my flight and when I got on the plane I noticed that my isle seat had a broken arm rest. I didn't mind but the stewardess told me that she had requested that no one be sat there and apologized. Once the plane had all of the passengers boarded she told my husband, 2 year old and I that there were 3 seats available in the comfort zone and offered it to us. I was grateful not only for an arm rest that wasn't broken, but for a little extra space for my growing belly. During the flight the attendants were kind and offered several times to get whatever I needed."

Fordeler: "The flight was very long to say the least especially being in coach but I enjoyed the feeling of being treated as if I were a first class passenger. All of the amenities, smiles and clean bathrooms - I'd certainly fly Turkish again and recommend it to my friends."
Ulemper: "I did find it to be a bit stuffy."

Fordeler: "I liked almost everything. The plane was clean and the seats looked new. Of course, space in the economy section can be tight but it is not worse than any other airline I have experienced. The entertainment was awesome with a wide selection of movies, tv and music options. I was even able to watch the primary debates LIVE from my seat which was amazing. The crew was amazing and very attentive. They made sure to provide us with whatever we needed and were always polite. This was the second time I have flown with Turkish Airlines and my experience was the same if not better this time around."
