Ulemper: "QA HQ did not respond to the emergency with professionalism. They did a decent job w/hotel accommodation but only the hotel reception provided any communication. Only constant complaints led to food being provided at the airport after a 6 hour wait to board. No compensation was offered by QA when we arrived in Doha. Nothing. Exceptionally poor performance by an airline you expect more from."

Fordeler: "The Airbus A380 double decker was very roomy and a wonderful plane to fly on. I loved this flight and it seemed like the flight breezed past very quickly. They had all of the star wars movies so I was very happy. Oh and the kids meals on these flights are huge. They seem bigger than the adult meals. So your child will not be going hungry for sure."
Ulemper: "Boarding was very strange. We had a 4 hour layover. We had to stay out in the hallway until about 30 minutes before boarding began. This was uncomfortable for passengers as there were very few seats and many took to sitting on the floor. The segregated room for boarding had plenty of seats but was locked off for some reason. We literally only got into the room just 5 minutes before we boarded. I thought this entire process was very backward. They need to let passengers use the room for longer periods. It was pretty stupid that we had to sit on the floor because they wont allow people to sit in the room with the chairs..."

Ulemper: "I didn’t like the airport in Dubai. Cleaners locked all the disabled toilets. I walked to 3 of them. Very difficult to use normal toilet and having to leave your baby & carry on outside when traveling alone!"

The supervisor get a special mention as he helped me with eating my meals with a sleeping toddler and even held her for me while I spent a penny. Rather plane designers being pushed to maximize seats over all else."

Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Ulemper: "I have used Kayak many times but I am afraid I may not use it anymore. We booked tickets to India from Boston few months ago. We booked for Emirates. But we got the tickets issued through web jet. With the recent travel ban we wanted to reschedule our tickets. And then the whole problem unravelled. We called kayak to reschedule. Kayak team said its not their responsibility and forwarded me to Web jet. We called emirates directly but they said since we booked tickets via Web jet they will be able to help. So we called Web jet and they charged a hefty 250-300$ extra to what Emirates would have charged for difference in pay. They said its basically the processing fee. We were disappointed as the reason for postponing was not in our hands, and the fact that kayak passed the buck to Web jet in dealing with the issue. If we had bought our tickets directly from Emirates the process would have been very smooth."

Ulemper: "It was a little noisy in our seats (we were next to one of the crew areas). But the biggest gripe was about the way we were treated when queuing. We all expect to have to wait our turn but it's incredibly frustrating when 1) the system isn't fair (eg splitting a queue into two then allowing those behind you to go to the front of a new line) and 2) treating us like second class by drawing a curtain in front of our faces so Business class people don't have to see us when they disembark."

Fordeler: "The flight to Munich was really good and comfortable. But the lay over was 15 hours and I not given anywhere to sleep or rest. I was told that I would be compt a room but never revived it. Sitting in an overcrowded Airport in Turkey was so uncomfortable and miserable. Boarding was very long lines and went through so many check points. But the staff was very friendly on board. Praise God I made it home safe."
Ulemper: "The lay over from Munich Germany to The US in the Turkey Airport was So Uncomfortable and Miserable. I was told that I would be given a room but never received it. The Airport was severely overcrowded all night and day. I was going to use Turkey monthly to go back to Germany but I probably won't now."

Fordeler: "Our Turkish Airlines flight was late boarding and passengers were upset about not being able to make their connecting flights. The crew handled it well, but anxiety was high. The food is always good and one of the reason I fly Turkish Airlines on a regular basis."
Ulemper: "Passport Control at Ataturk International was a nightmare with hundreds of people ahead of us in the queue. No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing."

This story is repeating with your airline at 29th July our Turkish Airlines flight from Sarajevo was late for 3hours so we were running at Ataturk Airport to catch connection flight to Istanbul even though we booked 4 hours delay in Istanbul. I'm used to domestic flights in the US which are no fun but as soon as I boarded our flight, the crew was so kind, I appreciated the pillows, blankets and extra care package provided with ear plugs, socks and an eye mask! It helped make the trip that much more pleasant to be able to sleep! I tend to get motion sickness and the crew on all four of our flights were so kind to give me water when I boarded the plane to be able to take my medicine. The flights were on time for the most part and the on-board entertainment helped a very long flight be more tolerable!"
Ulemper: "I had an issue with a passenger on our plane from Zanzibar to Istanbul but that was at no fault of the airline or the crew. One crew member was so sweet to allow my husband and I to move further back in the plane once boarding was finished. We were coming home from our honeymoon and the rude woman wouldn't get out of our seat so we could at least sit next to each other! It was unfortunate, but again, at no fault of the crew or airline and we were so thankful for the crew member helping us find somewhere we could sit together! I wish I would have gotten his name but it was on flight TK567 on May 4th. To whoever he was, thank you!!!"

Fordeler: "I loved the free tour of Istanbul that Turkish Airlines offers for thsoe who have long layovers there. The flight attendants were constantly walking through the aisles to hand out food, beverages, and other amenities. Very good movie selection. Turkish Airlines is my new favorite airline!"
Fordeler: "I was onboarding and the land crew did not do anything to oraganize the lines when the passengers were trying tto board."

Ulemper: "Your crew at boarding treat people with no respect. I saw the boarding next door to us. The flights info was not put on board due to computer problem! The whole airport system was down for hours. The flight of Najaf city was next gate to my flight gate and one of the crew lead was disrespectful to the people and he rejected few people from the flight so he can collect money from them!"
Fordeler: "The staff were all very pleasant. The food service was efficient and tasted good. The cabin was comfortable and there was plenty of entertainment in my seat display. I would fly them again."
Ulemper: "The flight was VERY long, from Istanbul to Los Angeles. I'm over 6 feet tall so it was difficult to sleep but there is very little the airline can do about this."
Fordeler: "Good service, good food!! I will use Turkish air again."

Fordeler: "Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food was rather impressive for a plane flight. I liked the number of selections that were available per the movies and media based entertainment on the flights."
Ulemper: "A few of the stewards and stewardesses had a bad attitude; as if they had brought on board some format of negativity. I understand the flights can be long, but there's no need for bad behavior towards customers."

Ulemper: "This was one of the worst days of my life, health-wise, so it could be that my observation of the passage of time was somewhat distorted, but Turkish did everything either slowly, or more slowly on this day. First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

Ulemper: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Fordeler: "Crew was great but at the airport they had us weight our carry on and then made us check it for 90 euro."
Ulemper: "Seats are not comfortable for long haul. Airbus 380 premier economy. Not enough reclining and leg support."

Ulemper: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Ulemper: "Both flights through Detroit were re-routed, our luggage was lost for 4 days."
Ulemper: "This was one of the worst flights I’ve been on. Both planes were downright filthy. The flight from Dallas to Barcelona had several broken toilets. Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving."

Ulemper: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

In fact, most of the passengers didn't have masks on their mouth and nose. Many of them didn't have them at all. Crew didn't care. If this is how LOT pays attention to our health during travel, I will definitely not fly with them anymore. 2 months earlier flying with Lufthansa and all crew was very strict about the rules and everybody on board was wearing a mask."

Ulemper: "The gate agents were forcing random people to check in their hand luggage, even before weighing that luggage. They also check the hand luggage to make sure it fits in the "template" and weigh it (a second time) at the gate. Once on-board, they then announced that they were waiting for other connecting passengers. Took about 45 minutes. It would be nice to know that before booking that they do this, and also before boarding, even if it makes more sense to start boarding before they arrive (but 45 minutes before?). The live map on the public screens in economy showed a dummy/overview map with "waiting for data" the entire flight, rather than the actual live map. Premium did have the data on their screens, and the individual screens also worked fine. Not sure what happened there..."

Ulemper: "They were leather seats. I hate leather seats. And they didn't have the cushion on the back of your head that can fold forward on the sides to hold your head so you can sleep."
Fordeler: "Everything was well organized and orderly, though the staff were not too cheerful or friendly. Even though it was a short 1 hour flight I saw flight attendants giving crayons and papers to the kids and everyone was offered a small chocolate cookie, a tiny packet of sour gummies, and a cup of water for free which I didn't expect. The plane was very small but clean and I was fairly comfortable in my seat for the short flight. There was a magazine in the seat pocket in English and Polish. Mostly I liked the cheap ticket price and that it was an on time flight."
Ulemper: "When we landed we went down 5 steps to the ground outside and got in a bus to go in the terminal. The plane was so small that there is very little space for carry on bags so that was a problem for some people, and as we entered the plane I noticed that the ceiling of the aisle is so low that my husband could touch his head on it if he went on his toes a bit (he's 6'4") It was odd to me that they had my husband and I assigned to seats an aisle apart, but a kind stranger agreed to change places. Lastly, the carry on baggage weight allowance is very low and they weighed our bags and we had to pay 24 dollars each for our overweight carry on roller bags which were then checked."

Ulemper: "No new movies or no tv shows to watch on a 9hr flight. If I knew I would have downloaded movies on my phone or on a usb stick(u have the possibility of using those). Horrible food, cannot even describe! No free alcohol. If you pay cash for the alcohol you end up paying double as if you pay with Credit card. I paid for 3 drinks, were brought only 2 and when I asked for the 3rd one they didn't understand what I want. Crew speaks only polish, they have little knowledge of English language. They are not helpful and they don't care about passengers! Delays on every flight, Friday LOT airline doesn't have to many flights out of Warsaw! Be aware, in the event of a delay and loosing your connecting flight you might end up spending a night in Warsaw. I WILL NEVER USE LOT AGAIN and I will make sure to spread the word!!!"

Ulemper: "The ground staff and customer service staff made mistakes with our infant's name and twice her ticket got canceled. Instead of saying that they will just fix it they blamed us and were very rude to us when they had to fix their mistake. I suggest that you train your staff in customer service or you will continue to lose good customers"

Ulemper: "The initial flight from Warsaw to JFK was delayed...therefore, the JFK to Warsaw was delayed...to the point that the Warsaw to Katowice flight had departed. Good news(!)...there's on more flight...at 2230. I opted out for the train instead. LOT graciously gave me a voucher to take a taxi to the train station in Warsaw. It all worked out. It took about an hour to gather my luggage at Warsaw due to the bag being re-booked on the later flight automatically."
