Fordeler: "Flight was cancelled. Kayak did not notify us. We found out by accident. There was no customer service from kayak. We had to solve with with the airline"

Fordeler: "Never got on the plane due to weather restrictions in the connecting flight prior to this flight. Called SWISS customer service on a Russian line, were told to get a paper from another Russian airport that no flights were leaving the city. Did that. when arrived to Moscow no SWISS customer representatives were at the stations and had to end up buying a completely new ticket to get home."
Ulemper: "Have customer service representative available at the airport 24/7 knowing that some people arrive from all parts of the country."

Fordeler: "Crew were very nice and accommodating. Chocolate always appreciated!"
Ulemper: "The passenger in front of me slammed into my knees. I am very tall. She was not but she sure got her seat back as far as possible in spite of having he bulkhead sear, so I had to be careful of my position the rest of the flight"

Ulemper: "Due to over booking they did not wait for connecting flight and instead bumped me onto the next day flight so I would say they could have been more honest in their dealing."

Fordeler: "The crew was great and the food was pretty good. The crew did a great job of keeping the lavatories clean and stocked. It was a 10.5 hr flight and they gave us one meal, a snack and a treat. Not a lot but since we were just sitting it was enough food. We had to stop for a meal on the way home from the airport."
Ulemper: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Ulemper: "Waiting in line in NYC for take off was about 50 minutes. Small seat space with annoying passengers who watch movies all night with bright screens or push and press my seat all the time. Earplug is uncomfortable, breakfast is plain, hot chocolate is horrible. It was a full flight and we even lost my daughter's cardigan."

Ulemper: "I as a "loyal' flier (app 50 years flew Swiss and SwissAir resp.) am disappointed that I have to pay 29.- for the seat reservation.I think this is outrageous. Also there used to be a "senior discount "; It is gone ! Peter Hz"

Fordeler: "Friendly crew members who kept serving food and drinks before asking. Meals, snack, drinks, hot towel, and cookies! The plane was also very clean and apacious enough."

Ulemper: "The most uncomfortable flight I've ever experienced. The seats were too small. It was torture for a 12 hour flight. Need more space and padding in the seats."

Ulemper: "They lost my luggage, had a problem with my connecting flight to Ottawa. I arrived 4 hours later at the end."

Ulemper: "The plane had a flea infestation that left both my wife and I with tiny bites on our legs - during the layover the flight attendants came through and sprayed the air vents in the overhead with an aerosol - I had never seen that done before but I suspect that Swiss knew the plane had microscopic flees that were biting passengers. We flew business class and expected much better from Swiss."

Ulemper: "Due to a glitch in the webstei, I was unable to check in online, and therefore did not get a window seat for an 11 hour flight - very frutrating and uncomfortable!"

Ulemper: "Again, boarding was chaos. No special boarding for star alliance gold member."

Fordeler: "On every flight I have ever been on, if I request it I can get a whole water bottle vs. the small cups offered...however on this flight they refused saying 'it is against the rules"?? As a result I had to bother the flight crew over 10 times to refill my small glass...a huge inconvenience for both of us. The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "The seats."

Ulemper: "While waiting for boarding I overheard a young woman, who was traveling with several companions, screaming to her mother on the phone that she and her friends had all gotten bedbugs and were in agony! She was making plans to leave all of her bags in the driveway when she got home. I discretely let boarding staff know and was told there is nothing they can do about it. They also cannot change my flight, or my seat, in the event that I am seated next to the person with the issue. They did give me a bag in which to place my carry on before storing it overhead. But once on the plane, I realized that my checked bag would be thrown in with everyone else's. In addition, I had forgotten to preorder gluten free food. The airline had nothing gluten free to offer me on a prolonged international flight and did not even offer to produce any gluten free snack (peanuts? cheese?) to tide me over. My luggage is still sitting in my car awaiting a process. However, in the unfortunate event that it has come into contact with bedbugs it may be too late :("

Ulemper: "No leg room for us tall people!"

Ulemper: "I was supposed to put my backpack into "bulky baggage". I couldn't find it. When I got on the flight one of the attendants yelled at me for having my bag. Also the signage was incorrect where we had to go thru with our boarding pass. So I stood in a couple of lines that didn't work."

Fordeler: "Good communication, helpful and friendly staff, usually on time, and better than average food & beverage options."
Ulemper: "Online check-in was complicated by my visa and made worse when I went to check-in counter at airport and representative did not know how to enter my info into the system. There should be better training provided to ensure people who are foreign citizens living in another country on visas can be easily processed just as quickly and efficiently as everyone else."

Ulemper: "meal choice run out very soon and I could not get what I wanted to get"

Fordeler: "the cabin crew were efficient and very pleasant."
Ulemper: "Seats not particularly comfortable, video system glitchy, film selection ok, not great. Food was airline food, not much you can say there. The connection gate staff were rude and forced me to check my hand luggage (even though I am disabed and first to board), which had all my medicines in and my computer. The flight wast full and didnt see any other bags gate checked, and there was a bunch of room in the overheads, they werent full. Then to add salt to the wound when we arrived our luggage was dripping water (and it wasnt running at our destination it was at the connection) several clothes were ruined or needed cleaning. As I was on the way to my fathers funeral this was an added pressure that I didnt need."

Fordeler: "The most comfortable coach seats I've ever been lucky enough to sit in (aisle and window in the first row of economy)! First time flying an A340-600, it's a great plane for a long trip."

Fordeler: "Great food. Nice staff."
Ulemper: "Make a rule that people cannot put their seats back. People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."

Ulemper: "I could not make it for the 1st part of my journey due to personal circumstances. There was no notification from Lufthansa that my return journey would be been cancelled as well. I found out 1 hour before the actual flight. Was offered a replacement ticket for over £900. Bought a new one with BA."

Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed"

Ulemper: "Staging at the gate was chaotic and disorganized. The passengers formed a big mob since there were no instructions for where to form lines for an organized boarding. Passengers could not hear boarding instructions from the front desk."

Ulemper: "The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)"

Fordeler: "Flight itself was good. Crew was nice"
Ulemper: "Flight was late. Airport experience in Frankfurt horrible. It looked like all was intended to increase the delay. They made me miss my train connection"

Ulemper: "Very cold. Always very cold in premium economy section on LH 747-8."

Ulemper: "Missed my flight by 2 minutes and couldn’t find any representatives to help me determine my options. Was left to figure it out in my own."

Fordeler: "The punctuality, customer services and refreshments served were all great."

Ulemper: "Didn't like the fruit dish or the liverwurst type meat."

Fordeler: "Everything was fine except for the comfort."
Ulemper: "The rows were so close together it was hard to get in and out of your row. If the seat in front of you reclined, the t.v. was 9 inches in front of your face."

Fordeler: "We were treated very well by all staff. Very nice crew"

Fordeler: "Great customer service at check in window, very comfortable and clean airplane, very good cabin crew..overall highly satisfied"
Ulemper: "It was difficult to leave my seat when passenger a front of me put his seat all the way to the back. Did not have that problem on other Lufthansa flights to and from Europe. I"

Ulemper: "Manchester Airport couldn’t organise a bus to take us off the plane. Stuck on a landed plane for ever."

Fordeler: "Lufthansa and SAS. A great combination."

Ulemper: "Premium economy upgrade not worth the price! Wheelchair service ordered but NOT provided In Frankfort!"

Fordeler: "The boarding procedure was fast and efficient. There was almost no waiting in line and the crew got the plane ready in minutes. Entertainment and food on the flight were both pretty good."
Ulemper: "Seats were not too comfortable. For long flights like this one, they could really use a bit wider and softer seats."

Ulemper: "My luggage didn’t arrived in Santiago And it was so frustrating start my vacation Here without medicines, winter clothes, Phones cables and chargers etc et I would like to know When I can have my suitcases"

Ulemper: "We had to land in Bari, due to weather, and the airline initially wanted to take us back to Munich for the night and return to Naples in the morning. They ultimately opted to drive us down to Naples but didn’t arrive at that decision until we’d been on the ground for quite a while."

Fordeler: "So much more comfortable to sit and sleep on such a long flight. Worth every penny!"

Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."

Fordeler: "Smooth ride. Almost made up some flight time......"
Ulemper: "No entertainment, Two hour delay......almost missed our connecting flight."

Fordeler: "Service for economy class was what you would expect from other airlines in business class. Lufthansa has the best service of any airline I have ever flown with."

Fordeler: "I liked the food and courteous staff. Our flight was on time in order to connect to our next flight. They assisted us to our waiting wee Lchairs."
Ulemper: "Everything was ok. Nothing I did not like on that flight"

Fordeler: "I bought the premium economy seats for extra room and I was not disappointed. The extra room was great. The in flight entertainment was very good as well. Lufthansa's food was excellent."
Ulemper: "The outer window pane had a lot of condensation on it and I could barely see out the window, and I love looking out the window during take-off and landing and I couldn't see much."

Fordeler: "Short flight, not much to say about it."

Fordeler: "Staff, they served a snack on this short flight"
Ulemper: "Flight was late, having to be bussed to the airplane and from the airplane, prefer gates."

Fordeler: "This leg of light was good. Service on board was very good."

Ulemper: "The food was not enough, not taste. For 11 hours only two meals. I wanted to change my meal with another they refused"

Fordeler: "As always, Lufthansa provides a great flight experience. Attentive crew, clean seats, and good leg room. Will fly Lufthansa again and again."
Ulemper: "Food wasn't as good as last year. Not bad, just not as good."

Fordeler: "It was on time :)"
Ulemper: "I booked wheelchair at Oslo airport, but my father did not get it at Frankfurt."

Ulemper: "Also, just one meal and no snacks served on a 7 hour plus flight"

Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."

Fordeler: "On time arrival. Excellent service. Everything is perfect. The best part are the flat which are really comfortable."
Ulemper: "Nothing."

Fordeler: "This was one of the most aggravating flights. I had a connection. Both flights were delayed and i had to run through the enormous frankfurt with my carry on cat. When i got to the next flight it was delayed 30mins and there were little updates. When i arrived in oslo i was late and so missed my connecting train. I had to wait 6 hours in the station for the next train. An exhausting and frustrating experience. There was one helpful steward on the lax frankfurt flight but the rest of the staff was not helpful."

Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."

Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."

Ulemper: "Plane transfer and customs at Frankfort were the worst I have ever encountered. Had to go so far between the two gates that had the flight from Seattle not been 30 minutes early and the plane to Barcelona posted as 10 minutes later than originally stated, we would have missed the connecting flight."

Fordeler: "The boarding was pretty quick, the crew was friendly and efficient, they were great. Food was good. Good amount of space in economy. I loved the whole experience. I would definitely recommend flying with them."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordeler: "The flights itself was ok. The flight attendants caused me no problems, and the flights, when I FINALLY got on them, were smooth."
Ulemper: "everything else. The franfurt airport closure made me miss school because they did not offer extra flights to accommodate all the displaced travelers. I had to stay in the Frankfurt airport for a FULL EXTRA DAY, and every time I tried to get a new ticket, or ask anyone for help, I was given the run around. No one was helpful. I talked to about a dozen Lufthansa employees that day and only one was helpful at all. It was a hellish nightmare. Before my last flight, I was furious with how I had been treated all day and a horrible Lufthansa woman yelled at me for being upset about the situation. Then, when after much hassle I finally got to my destination, I was told my baggage was lost. That was on thursday and I still have not gotten it. i am never flying lufhansa again. This was the worst trip of my entire life."

Fordeler: "Flights were on time. Both Air Canada and Lufthansa Airlines Service, including sitting and boarding process were relatively smooth."
Ulemper: "12 hour long flight from Frankfurt to LA was exhausting."

Fordeler: "everything was easy to use and set up from booking to landing. wonderful trip. This was my 1st big trip and 2nd time on a plane. Liked the movies on the plane. All the staff where helpful from gate to gate."

Fordeler: "very little"
Ulemper: "lousy food. poor movie selection. uncomfortable seats."

Ulemper: "Just a detail, my “head holder” (not too sure how it is called) would not hold in position. Also, staff was a bit slow to come after being called, I had to go and ask for water by myself at some point since no one was coming after 15minites of waiting..."

Ulemper: "It's KLM. What else do you need to know."

Fordeler: "Everything works and quick to get to destination."

Fordeler: "Good amount of space on the plane, lots of movies to watch, good food and drink."

Fordeler: "Customer care was super supportive"

Fordeler: "Seat was uncomfortable. There was nothing to like. In past I have traveled by KLM but this time it was worst."
Ulemper: "No proper food service. Even to the passenger of Amsterdam no dinner was served. No inflight service. It looks like domestic flight. I will think twice to travel by KLM. The check-in staff at counter was absolutely arrogant. Staff ar boarding gate was nice."

Fordeler: "the trip was excellent and comfortable. LOved the windows that shaded out rather than the having to pull down the plastic blind. entertainment on board top notch screen huge One hostess , Helen was absolutely fantastic and the best I ve had on my many trips. I will recommend KLM whenever I can"
Ulemper: "the headrest is hard. Apart from that- all was fine"

Ulemper: "Lost a single baggage item, a car seat. Critical for us to leave the airport, and delayed us for over an hour upon arrival. Gave us a loaner car seat that barely fit our child."

Ulemper: "Airplane so uncomfortable. Food horrible. Not even available for one of us what we ask for on what was offered. Bad taste and not what can be on a that length of time flight."

Fordeler: "Comfortable seat, friendly crew. Crew were conscious of recycling which I like a lot as there is so much waste on flight. Anything we can do to reduce waste is very welcome."
Ulemper: "Food wasn't very appetizing, pasta didn't have much flavor and I don't eat red meat so the other choice wasn't an option for me."

Fordeler: "The earphones for out two seats only worked intermittently, but the Purser, Lee-Ann handled it professionally and pleasantly. That was the only disappointment in an otherwise pleasant flight"

Ulemper: "Something did not go right with our booking so it took some work for the airline to get it figured out for us. Thankfully we had left plenty of time. But that was an unexpected stress."

Ulemper: "I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it."

Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Fordeler: "Crew was very friendly. Nice that wine was served without charge."
Ulemper: "Announcements from the cockpit were hard to hear. Food has been better in past."

Ulemper: "Paid $70 for seat with more leg room and was the exit role to main entrance. No overhead space for carry on: broken food tray holder. People stepping on my feet. And gather in your space waiting for bathrooms. Window seat had no room for feet because of closed door"

Ulemper: "Still waiting to board after missing this connection had to be booked on another airline"

Fordeler: "Excellent service. A meal , drink and a coffee included which we were not expecting."

Fordeler: "Good flight, very attentive crew."

Fordeler: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Ulemper: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Ulemper: "Delay can occur sometimes but it wiuld be better to be explained its reason and the estimated time for boarding. The customer service at CDG airport was the worst ever and all people standing boarding desk were useless without any mind what they are doing."

Fordeler: "Food was just fine, movie selection very good"
Ulemper: "Uncomfortable seat cushions, lights were truned on too early (1.5 hours before flight landed)"

Ulemper: "Headset jack only worked if the headset plug was in EXACTLY the right spot."

Fordeler: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Ulemper: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."

Fordeler: "The food was excelent"
Ulemper: "I have to pay to pay a little more confort"

Fordeler: "Clean airplane, friendly crew, no rush, nice snacks for a short one hour flight. Just generally a positive experience."

Fordeler: "Pretty basic one hour flight so there's not much to complain about or praise about. I got some sleep which was good."
Ulemper: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."

Ulemper: "It was announced I can choose between fish and chicken meal but when I requested for fish meal, I was told it’s finished. My seat was 21, and it surprised me. If something can be changed about that then your services would be much appreciated. Thank you."

Fordeler: "Easy boarding, plenty of room"

Fordeler: "From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew."
Ulemper: "The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!"

Ulemper: "Nothing one can do, for a 6.2" guy, the metal bar that forms the shape for the pouch for magazines and such digs into knees, ESP if person in front adjusts seat back. Fold out table barely accommodates laptop."

Fordeler: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Ulemper: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"

Ulemper: "They can not retire these old Boeing 747's soon enough. Due to mechanical problems, our flight arrived at LAXfour and a half hours late and further problems with the cargo door caused an additional one hour delay of our take off."

Ulemper: "Late departure for that most meaningless of excuses - the late arriving aircraft. And so late arriving at destination. On arrival at Berlin, there was also noone at the gate to allow us to leave the plane. All in all meant missing pickup time at the airport, and extra cost."

Ulemper: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."

Ulemper: "Was overlooked by the pursor a couple times - he probably had a lot on his plate. Also, the "snack" at the end of the trip was sorely lacking! Especially for a 7 hour flight. The bathrooms were gross & out of toilet paper. And it seemed like one was locked constantly...?"

Fordeler: "Very helpful staff."

Fordeler: "Seats were very comfortable for economy. Crew was pleasant, attentive and efficient. Good seatback entertainment system."

Fordeler: "The seats were very comfortable -- the plane wasn't very full, so there was room to spread out for some folks. As a vegetarian, the lunch meal was EXCELLENT, thank you. There was a second snack given just before landing that was basically roasted peppers on bread that was not good -- so you know, many vegetarians actually have sensitivity against peppers, so perhaps another vegetable or option would be better there. Crew was very affable and helpful."
Ulemper: "See point before re: second snack. Our flight was delayed for two hours, presumably due to snow in Oslo. The boarding area was disorganized -- something I remember from flying through Norway a few years ago as well. I also didn't quite understand why I received priority boarding, as a United gold member on my outbound fight, but not on my return. So the inconsistency was a bit confusing/frustrating. But the flight overall was smooth, and the accommodations quite good."

Ulemper: "This has nothing directly with SAS, but since I experienced it during my flight there, they are responsible of it. I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! Ulemper: "I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."

Ulemper: "flight was delay for 30 mins. then another 30 mins because there are 15 passenger that miss their flight due to delay or there is not enough flight to transport them to Longyearbyen the next day. We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"

Fordeler: "All good with SAS. Not good with me. I forgot to ask for a window seat."
Ulemper: "I makes down for food and entertainment but food could be bought and provided entertainment is not necessary for short flights with such good views of beautiful Norway."

Fordeler: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "Tried THREE hours to get a phone picked up to cancel my flight the day before this scheduled flight. My friends booked with Expedia the exact itinerary and were able to reach a human and we're told that SAS always reimburses for cancellations. I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

Fordeler: "Setene er behagelige, og selv i SAS Go er det mulig å legge setene lenger ned enn jeg er vant til hos en del andre flyselskaper i samme seteklasse."
Ulemper: "Det er ikke mulig å bestille spesialmåltid samtidig med billettene, man må ringe. Dette virker unødvendig tungvint, spesielt med tanke på at det var ekstra lang ventetid hos kundeservice i den aktuelle perioden. Heldigvis var det mulig å få hjelp via Facebook, men det er visst ikke vanlig."

Ulemper: "Checkin was a disaster, girl was not aware of anything she was doing and after over ten minutes of explainatiin she still put me and my bags on a wrong flight. Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Fordeler: "The plane was neat, clean and well maintained. The food was very good. The crew was professional and friendly. Based on my experience this is a top-notch airline."

Ulemper: "I paid for a business class ticket and was jammed in like a sardine no different than economy, then told "you get a lunch for free". Hundreds of dollars more for a $5.00 lunch is NOT why I booked business class!"

Ulemper: "During the reservation process it seemed that the ticket included luggage, and only when I received the ticket I discovered that I had to pay 30 Euro extra, each way, to check in luggage. The ticket was by no means low-cost, so I don't understand why that wasn't included in the price. And the food could have been much better, I really couldn't eat anything and I usually like airline food... :) Thanks!"

Ulemper: "I was charged $55.00 to book early and choose seats. I agreed because I wanted to be sure to sit with my husband and have a view. Iberia changed my seats without my knowledge, and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Directions to our connecting flight in the airport by Iberia staff was confusing and they were extremely rude. We asked 3 different times! We were in danger of missing our connecting flight. Iberia is the worst airlines I have ever experienced, and I will never purchase a flight on Iberia again! Lesson learned!"

Fordeler: "It was my first flight with Iberia - I was very pleased with the entire experience."

Fordeler: "Wine and ham in Spain."
Ulemper: "I went jfk to mallorca through Madrid. Upon arrival to Madrid the passport control was 2hrs so we and a lot of other people missed connections. At the Iberia counter we were put on the next flight out to mallorca, that seemed to be no problem (FYI bags will be late and you may too since iBeria ‘must’ keep thee on time global record) , other than our bags came a day later. UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

Fordeler: "Saving grace: movie selection much better than expected. Food a bit better than expected (in the world of airline food). Crew capable & nice enough. We got to our destination on time, so at least there’s that."
Ulemper: "Boarding @ JFK was a joke. That part of airport is currently under construction, so massive # of ppl & not enough room for everyone. Once on plane, all reasonably good until we reached altitude & settled in for the evening. At that point, for some reason the heat came on between rows 39 & 46 (we were in row 45) & was on all. night. long. on an overnight flight. Crew was baffled & didn’t know how to fix. I was melting & miserable — impossible to sleep. Cramped, basic economy seats. Awful experience."

Ulemper: "Lost our luggage"

Fordeler: "The seats were good and for once I felt like I had enough leg room. The entertainment consul had a good selection of movies and tv programs."
Ulemper: "The attendants were not very attentive and I eventually had to ask for a customs form since I never received one. I feel like long international flights should offer food without having to pay for it, whether or not it is a "discount" airline."

Fordeler: "Fast boarding, friendly staff, clean plane."
Ulemper: "Not even a tiny snack as complimentary for a 3h flight."

Ulemper: "Madrid to Tampa... Got the nursery. Lots of crying babies... must be immigrating to the US. Why don't they put all people with babies at the rear so the rest of us can nap? Not IB's fault, the customs at Miami came to a halt for an hour. 2000 people standing in line, missing connections. There was a shift change, most employees didn't show up for work. was told 'It's a special day'. Fortunately I was at the head of the line. A few of us were routed to someone who was surprised to see US citizens. As a consequence, the always slow MIA failed to transfer my luggage. Still waiting for it... Air travel is such a pain these days. I'm sure more would fly if it wasn't such a hassle."

Fordeler: "The staff was rude and not helpful. Check in was below standard."

Fordeler: "The captain and the entire crew handled an accident very professionally. Seats in economy class were much more comfortable than the ones on my previous, rotten BA52 flight."
Ulemper: "We get to the runway, wait 10 minutes and go back to the terminal. The captain announces an engine failure. Maintenance inspects the leaking engine, do something and declare it fixed. 2 hours delay and my nerves a bit shaken during take off. We arrived safely."

Fordeler: "Crew are helpful"
Ulemper: "The tight space especially in seated with a big lady and inconsiderate person in front of me"

Fordeler: "At least the lugagge arrived with yhe flight"

Ulemper: "The plane was an Airbus 330. I'm 6'2" and was uncomfortable in the seat for 7 1/2 hours. My knees hit the seat in front, and later the person there reclined to make things even worse. Since I couldn't slouch, my head was far above the seat back. I realize airlines are squeezing space and this trend will continue. It's become an accessibility problem for me."

Fordeler: "Seats were too crowded. No leg room."

Ulemper: "We were delayed two hours after boarding while the ventilation system was repaired. Some people got water...others not. We were the one not given water."

Fordeler: "Commuter flight. Got me where I needed to go."
Ulemper: "Small plane, no leg room, very little carry-on space. All I had is a small backpack and I almost did have a place to put it."

Fordeler: "Flights were on time"
Ulemper: "Business class service, there were no pre flight drinks served. There was no entertainment."

Ulemper: "the last truck (madrid - tel aviv) was not with the same airbus that the 3 others (tel aviv - madrid / madrid - buenos aires / buenos aires madrid)... it was like flying in low cost with food (even the chair could not go backwards...very bad the last one"

Ulemper: "Crew was good but they could be friendlier (i.e. smile).."

Fordeler: "A short flight but could have some form of entertainment."

Fordeler: "My rerun flight was overbooked so they had to find another flight for me and one other in my group of 4. Nothing was offered to make up for the inconvienience. They did manage to find a direct flight that departed s couple hours later."

Fordeler: "The crew was fabulous. Very friendly and accommodating."

Ulemper: "Honestly my only complaint would be that I was not given both of my boarding passes when I first checked in in Munich and instead I had to go out and stand in a line for an hour to get my boarding pass for Las Angeles which made me just barely get to my gate on time."

I was ticketed to row 37 without any notice and was told it was not possible to change. All I can do it request a refund from American. My screen did not work and I could not watch anything on the flight."
